After our civil wedding we celebrated in this wonderful restaurant and it was just perfect! From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was inviting, I was allowed to decorate the evening before as we liked. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, which made our day even better. The food was an absolute highlight! Each dish was not only delicious in terms of taste, but also beautifully presented. We were particularly enthusiastic about the selection of dishes, which offered something for every taste. We had starters, salads, several types of meat and fish, various side dishes and dessert. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team who helped make our day unforgettable. We can recommend Alexandros Restaurant to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just wanting to enjoy a great meal! Thank you for everything 😊

We went to dinner the day before yesterday, a restaurant we used to frequent before. Very disappointed with our dishes, shrimp which looked like they had been defrosted! 5 unfortunate little shrimps almost to mush! Tasteless. For 1 total of 85 euros (1 starter, 2 scampi dishes and 1 bottle of wine (at 23.50)). We left very disappointed, we will pass our turn in the future.

We ate there again today and were totally thrilled again. Everything was just perfect. In terms of taste, it was the best restaurant we have visited so far.

On the one hand we had the “Dorfteller Gyros” and on the other hand the “Poulardspiez”. Both dishes were served with a salad plate in advance. The only point of criticism here would be that the salad primarily consisted of various leaf lettuces and was only decorated with a few carrots and a piece of tomato and cucumber. All dishes were freshly prepared. The meat in both dishes was very well prepared and tasty. The portions were sufficient and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. Finally, an ouzo was served on the house. Everything was great - a nice restaurant that invites you to linger.

Best Greek restaurant I've been to so far! Unfortunately, the restaurant of the same name in Offenburg-Bohlsbach is no longer open, but I like it much better in Kehl. Prices cannot be compared with "normal" Greeks - here it is a little more expensive. We paid €70 for 2x gyros, 1x starter, 1x dessert and something to drink.

I recommend the daily lunch dish, for which there is a lot of choice, and accompanied in winter by soup and salad. All for a very low price and good quality.

The food tastes good and is definitely freshly prepared. However, if you expect a typical Greek restaurant atmosphere, you might be disappointed. Nevertheless, overall my colleagues and I really enjoyed it. But I personally missed the Kolaktoboureko as a dessert - I always eat it when I want something Greek. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the main course simply because it looked so appetizing that I had to enjoy it straight away. If asked if the restaurant is good, I would answer: Yes, it is definitely worth a visit. Is it my favorite? No, I know a better one. But if you want to try something new and are looking for an alternative to your regular Greek restaurant, you can't go wrong with Alexandros Restaurant.

As someone who has been to many restaurants in Asia and Europe and also loves Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, this is one of the restaurants that I say "I wish I hadn't gone to." My wife and I went there for a nice dinner after making a reservation, but unfortunately the main course never came :( When we asked, they used our already finished starters as an excuse. My advice to the friends responsible for the service is to check the status of the customers' plates, even if only out of the corner of their eyes, and serve the main courses when the plates are almost finished. This is done very well in Greece and on the Mediterranean coast. I hope this restaurant can reach this service quality.

It's just a great shop. We were there spontaneously and had to wait for a table to be available for us. There were even additional tables already set up. It's just very well attended. So it's better to reserve. Even though we had to wait, it was absolutely fine. The service was good. It's also nice that, despite the rush, you don't get the feeling that it has to go quickly, quickly. The food was delicious, my lamb was absolutely on point. They are a bit stingy with the ouzo for a Greek, but I know it differently from our region (Berlin/Brandenburg). You will often be offered one. The price-performance ratio is right for me - not very cheap, but definitely worth the money.

We came across the restaurant because of the good reviews. The ambience and service is great. However, I have to criticize the quality of the meat. Unfortunately, the food was a bit tough and didn't taste particularly good. The sauce with my meal came way too early, so it was lukewarm. I had severe stomach pain after my visit.

I would prefer to recommend zero stars. Food wasn't good, unfortunately advice wasn't right, the main thing was to recommend expensive dishes. Meat didn't taste good at all. Staff ignores customers. No tip and not worth another visit.

Wusste warum wir schon ewig nicht mehr dort waren. Auf 19 Uhr Tisch reserviert, wurden komisch empfangen und erstmal in die Ecke verwiesen. Auf 19,15 Uhr war unser Tisch dann fertig. Keine Entschuldigung dafür...! Getränke -NAJA- Coca-Cola fast ohne Gas, Wein bestellt und Weinschorle bekommen. Nachtisch &Cafe hätten wir gern bestellt, wurden jedoch lange nicht mehr beachtet oder gefragt. Irgendwann wurde mal abgeräumt, dann wollten wir aber bezahlen 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️ Wenn man kein Ouzo trinkt ,keine Alternative

The food was simply incredibly good. My salad and the grilled meat skewer with fries were simply perfect! Even if you have allergies, you can eat very well here, as all allergens are clearly stated on the menu and the kitchen takes this into consideration. I'd love to come back...

On a regular basis we come to eat in this restaurant. We are usually around 15 people at the table. We have always appreciated coming. This time we were very dissapointed when we asked for the bill, we were all ready to pay with our credit card and they told us they don't take credit card, only money. The bill was almost 600 euros. In the past we have always paid with credit card and now they didn't want to give us a reason why they wouldn't let us pay with our credit card today. We are very dissapointed of the service as they could of informed us at the beginning of the meal that they only take money.

Mousaka ordered. I think in Greece they would have stoned the cook. I've been to Greece often enough to form an opinion on this. Absolutely didn't work. No request or apology from the kitchen. Better go somewhere else to experience Greek cuisine.

But it's not possible to wait more than an hour for the main course because others who were at the table later would have already finished eating. This restaurant is a no go. The managing director should properly train his team.

We called in last night as we had missed the last bus back to our campsite and didn’t fancy walking back in the dark. The waiters were really helpful and kind ringing us a local taxi. The restaurant was beautiful and immaculate. Food smelt delicious and the coffee was great. If we return to the area we would definitely return for a meal.

Nous avons pu comparer ce restaurant grec de Kehl, le soir même de notre retour d’Athènes, avec les restaurants de là-bas plus touristiques. La nourritures y est bonne, mais ce n’est pas le même tzatziki et gyros. Et il manque clairement de poissons. Le service est bon, mais les grecs sont un ton très au-dessus, toujours au petits soins. Le cadre ne paye pas de mine mais bénéficie d’une terrasse ouverte et couverte. Mais après avoir connu les mignonnes tables dans la rue, les rooftops et les vues sur l’Acropole, Kehl ne fait pas le poids Le pire c’est le prix: à peu près 50% de plus qu’à Athènes. Mais cela reste un bon restaurant grec pour qui ne peut pas aller en Grèce.

When you wait more than an hour for a Gyros, you can't be satisfied.

Unfortunately, no one paid any attention to us after we were shown to our seats. Many employees walked past us without noticing us, without saying hello or signaling in any way that someone would soon take our order. After waiting over 20 minutes without drinks, we got up and left. The prices on the menu are in the upper price range for a Greek.

Très déçu de la salade « grecque ». Deux très petits triangles de fêta posés sur tomates et concombres. J’ai aussi compté quatre olives dans l’assiette. La serveuse nous a apporté deux petits triangles supplémentaires pour essayer de nous les facturer deux euros! Les assiettes de mezze étaient convenables mais à un prix exorbitant au vu de la quantité. Je n’y retournerai pas.

Unfortunately I'm not from here so I can only rate it once, but based on my experience it would have been the last time anyway. There were seven of us there when the food was brought, one was missing 😡 but it didn't bother anyone except us. After we asked, it came when everyone else was almost finished and there was also a sauce missing, which the waiter noticed when he wanted to clear the plates and made up his mind on the way and then brought them with him🥳 and he was happy to take them back with him. Even when a waitress asked if everything was okay and we said no, she quickly moved on as we didn't want to order anything. Now the wait began for the soup that we had ordered to take away, it was almost quick, just asked twice 😂 and now we have to pay, a double children's portion doesn't cost twice as much but €4 more. Even talking to the boss didn't help because he's the boss. Nevertheless, I wish everyone who eats there a better result - it couldn't be worse

Good restaurant with very good quality meats cooked over a wood fire. The setting is nice, the service efficient and smiling. You can also find some Greek specialties there. Prices are a bit high.

Top address. Even many French people come here. Meat quality is great, everything from the charcoal grill. The lunch menu is unbeatable in terms of value for money. The outside and inside areas are stylishly finished. Absolute recommendation in Kehl!

Great service and perfectly seasoned food. Update: It's a shame, on weekends the terrace is kept free for guests with reservations. Even if it was 90% free. Without a reservation there is only one seat inside. We could have lived with that, but the sound makes the music. If you feel like a nuisance and a supplicant, it's better to look for a restaurant where you are welcome even without a reservation. It's a shame we've always been there when we've been to Kehl.

The food was very good and well served. We left with a full belly. The employees are bwé friendly but we noticed the lack of experience. In a while it will be different 😉 I recommend coming in the summer as they have a spectacular and haunted terrace

It is May 26, 2024, for Mother's Day I wanted to take my daughter to a good restaurant, what a fiasco... a reservation at 12 p.m. and dishes served at 2:45 p.m., yes I waited almost 2h30 to have the dishes that we had ordered. €21.90 for a dish with 100g of meat bathed in oil and three poor bland squid fritters! I was expecting something else given the price. No consideration was given for the wait we endured, plus if you don't speak German you can get a brush to put a smile on your face. In short, I advise against it, many other restaurants deserve your attention.

In this restaurant the grilled meat is always good, the dishes are prepared with quality meats, except that when you ask for a little more white sauce on your plate they charge you for the small ramekin in the end in the bill . In fact everything is done to make money in this restaurant but this is nothing new, and for the French clientele they are pampered. There is no such thing as a small commercial gesture.
