The place where I ate the best in Berlin (in fact, I went back several times during my stay in the city) with more than fair prices. It's best to book, as it's always busy. The staff is super friendly, and I highly recommend it if you're in Berlin!

"Excellent food!" The restaurant is located a bit outside the city center, but it's definitely worth a visit. The value for money is excellent, and everything was truly delicious. The Spätzle were especially tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Solid Swabian home cooking at an attractive price. That's how Germans (meaning me) like it. It doesn't always have to be fancy or currywurst, although Repke does offer the latter. The main courses include various Spätzle, Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli), and schnitzel variations. There are also soups, salads, and desserts. Wonderfully simple and delicious food. And the Spätzle are homemade! The service is friendly and prompt. The ambiance is like a typical German dining room. I also appreciated the historical Berlin photos on the wall. I had Sauerbraten with Käsespätzle (cheese Spätzle) and a side salad. The gravy was beautifully dark. And there was plenty of meat. My grandma and mother couldn't make it better. Vanilla ice cream at the end rounded it all off perfectly. Your place is a real insider tip for anyone who simply wants a delicious and satisfying meal.

I tried it today based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food arrived ice-cold. It was taken to the kitchen and apparently microwaved. Afterwards, it was hot, but only just okay. A real shame. Nice place, friendly service. But the espresso I had was also charged. It would have been nice to have it on the house, considering the food was cold. The same thing happened at the next table. They also had cold food.

I went there on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The staff is especially polite and warm. Prices for this quality of food and service are hard to find in Berlin – unless you visit this lovely restaurant.

The portion was quite large. I ordered the traditional noodle dumplings, and they tasted a lot like pan-fried spaghetti.

Told us we only had 45 minutes to eat before they closed, which was great because we prefer fast service. However, 35 minutes later, people were still being seated, and we learned it was just a ruse for getting people from staying longer. I wish they would have been honest from the beginning. The food was excellent, and portions were large. Great value.

Absolutely fantastic! The value for money is outstanding; it's truly like a small restaurant in Heilbronn. The onion roast beef with Lemberger wine reminded me so much of home, and the sauce was simply delicious! And homemade Spätzle to boot! 👌

I saw this restaurant in a report on RBB. What can I say? The visit was absolutely worth it. Great food, very friendly service, and best of all, the prices are incredibly reasonable these days. The restaurant absolutely deserves a top rating.

Highly recommended: the Baden-style Sauerbraten with spaetzle. Despite the good location in Charlottenburg and the large portions, the prices are very reasonable.

The food is great. But the service is truly terrible. The two of us were left standing because the free table was only designed for five people. However, four tables wanted to pay, which would have been fine. But no, we had to wait for the table for four. At that point, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the opportunity to order. And so on and so forth... Conclusion: great food without the service.

Poor attitude from the waiter. We weren’t even offered the menu like other people, so we felt quite discriminated against for not being German. We even asked for a table inside, and when one became available, they gave it to some Germans who arrived later and without a reservation. The waiter brought us whatever he wanted, and when we asked for what we had actually ordered, the waitress argued that it was more expensive. Honestly, it was only €2.50 more per dish —completely absurd. The food was fine, but I wouldn’t go back because of the poor treatment.

Very good food at moderate prices

The spaetzle were delicious, I just wished my hot chocolate was hot, and the dessert wasn't that good either. The service, however, was excellent; even though it was busy, the staff remained friendly throughout. We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit to Berlin. I highly recommend making a reservation; otherwise, you might be out of luck.

I tried my luck on the first night without a reservation and, unsurprisingly, there was no space – but I was able to book for the following evening. The food was absolutely worth the wait: rich, hearty, and served in very generous portions. The schnitzel was my favourite (out of the two I tried in Berlin), and the beef was cooked to perfection. I’d definitely return if I’m back in Berlin.

It was quite crowded and loud, and the staff seemed rather rushed, but they were friendly nonetheless. The food was definitely delicious and reasonably priced, too.

The food is good, but you should only eat here with plenty of time. From entering the restaurant to receiving the menu, as well as from asking for the bill to paying, it can easily take 30 minutes each (when it's not very busy).

Excellent stop after a long day for schnitzel and spatzle. The mushroom sauce version was delicious and the spatzle had excellent texture. Moderate size place with comfortable decor near a train station, we would happily go back!

We eat here fairly regularly during our lunch break, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent. However, the service is unfortunately a complete disaster. Something always goes wrong when we have to order from him. Dishes are written down incorrectly, the table isn't cleared by the people in front of us, the wrong thing is brought, the bill is incorrect, he's overwhelmed with more than two orders, he's rude, etc. This time, he completely forgot our order. This only registered because we went to a colleague and told them we'd been sitting for almost 40 minutes and nothing had arrived. He then came over to us, said he'd forgotten, and that the dish we ordered was now sold out. Of course, we left. A complete no-go. Especially since the restaurant is very small, and he kept walking past us and saw that we still hadn't had our food. I understand that someone can have a bad day. But here, the regularity of mistakes is completely beyond comprehension. So, I'll be staying well away from that restaurant if that waiter is serving there, and I would recommend the same to everyone else. PS: All the other waiters are very friendly and there are no problems.

I've been a fan for a long time, partly because of the friendly service, but today: the place was packed, only one table free, I asked the waitress if I could sit there (I was alone), she said, "No." I said, "Unfortunately, everything's taken." She said, "That's still a table for 5!" in such a silly tone that I was already fed up. She then pointed to a table in the very back corner where a guy was already sitting - I could sit there. And she was gone. All around, there were just two people at tables of 4 or 5. I'd rather go to Ali Baba, which is super nice. It's also very busy, even alone at the table, but: Of course I can sit there! It's all in the mood... Repke, you usually have such nice people, but that blonde from this afternoon really isn't a good fit for you (8/19/25, 1:30 PM)!

We had delicious spaetzle! It was quite busy, and I was lucky enough to get a small table by myself.

Our first night in Berlin, we went there and really liked it. It's traditional food, and it's cheap. They have a wide variety on the menu. The service was very pleasant and friendly.

This was my first time here, but I can tell you, it was incredibly delicious and the service was more than friendly. I had two small schnitzels with Austrian potato salad. It couldn't have been better. My companion had goulash with spaetzle and was also absolutely thrilled. We're definitely adding this restaurant to our list of favorite restaurants. The value for money is excellent, but not everything can be perfect. Unfortunately, the outdoor chairs are a bit uncomfortable.

With a little luck, you might get a table by yourself; reservations are highly recommended. A few minor renovation improvements are possible, giving it its own charm and character. We had very tasty spaetzle with strips of chicken breast. I would consider the portion size average, and the price for freshly prepared food makes it really good value.

Traditional (actually Southern) German noodles are a specialty in this restaurant area which is dominated by Asian and Southern European places. The restaurant is fully booked on a Tuesday evening with even some people waiting for a table, probably due to very reasonable prices but also a rather slow (though very friendly) service. Food quality is ok for the price, so if you don't mind waiting this is an attractive choice.

Best place to eat Spetzle. The kaiserschmarren is the best!

We had seen a program about Berlin on RBB TV. The restaurant was featured, and guests gave their opinions. We wrote down the address and paid a visit. We were very surprised. The service was very friendly. Our dog was given water right away. The food was excellent.

OPTISCH GELUNGEN Im Repke ist es immer voll, denn das Essen ist gut, reichlich und preiswert. Das war der Tenor einer TV-Sendung des RBB, in der Geschäfte und Restaurants rund um den Savignyplatz vorgestellt wurden. Man fragt sich ja immer, wie es zu einer derartigen -- für das Unternehmen mutmaßlich kostenlosen -- Fernsehwerbung überhaupt kommt. Ich bilde mir da lieber mein eigenes Qualitätsurteil und ging deshalb jetzt einmal dort speisen. Vorab gesagt: Ich kam zu einem etwas anderen Ergebnis. Als Vorspeise wählte ich Chili con carne - eine wahrhaft große Portion mit unendlich vielen Bohnen und auch etwas Hackfleisch. Scharf gewürzt war es nicht, aber doch recht gut abgeschmeckt, reich an Aroma und insofern empfehlenswert. Wenig glücklich wurde ich hingegen mit meinem Hauptgericht: Tiroler Spätzle mit Rinderstreifen in Tomatensauce, Gemüse, das Ganze mit Käse überbacken. Das Gericht wird in einer Schale serviert, wie sie auch Italiener oft für Lasagne verwenden. Durch die Käsekruste wirkte alles optisch ansprechend, doch darunter verbarg sich weniger Erfreuliches. Das Kerngeschäft Repkes sind ja doch gewissermaßen die hausgemachten Spätzle, die in zahlreichen Varianten dargeboten wurden. Die meinigen entzogen sich jeglicher Beurteilung, denn sie dümpelten total zerkocht und geschmacklos in der Tomatensauce.Der Preis dafür war relativ moderat.

A Berliner brought me to this restaurant after I asked for some spätzle, and I wasn't disappointed! There are lots of German specialties at very reasonable prices, and the welcome was impeccable. I really have nothing to complain about, I recommend it without hesitation!

AWESOME: We had dinner at Repke three times during our five-day stay in Berlin. The food was perfect and the service was very friendly. They even allowed us to stop by spontaneously. The Spätzlerei is a gem in Charlottenburg.

We had a great time. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The prices are also more affordable than other places. The dishes are plentiful.

I ate here with my wife for the second time today, and unfortunately, my disappointment was confirmed. The first time, after 40 minutes (there were seven customers in the restaurant), I got my cheese spaetzle with onions and bacon, which were unfortunately so oversalted that I left 90% of it. Okay, it happens sometimes. So I went again today and ordered Königsberger Klopse. It came with a salad. The food also arrived quickly, after about 30 minutes (!!!). Okay, fresh food just takes time..., I thought. The potatoes were swimming in the sauce on the overcrowded plate, and as if that weren't enough, the salad (which was also swimming in the dressing) was also squashed onto the plate. Delicious, tomatoes and lettuce in caper sauce..., who doesn't dream of that? Conversely, of course, salad and dressing were also served with the potatoes. But the absolute highlight was that you could tell IMMEDIATELY that the potatoes had been completely cold and reheated. As a cook, you know that potatoes should be kept warm and not reheated as boiled potatoes. It tastes awful. Conclusion: There's still a lot of room for improvement, and until then, I'll go eat somewhere else.

Esta pequeña joya de un restaurante fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de nuestro viaje a Berlín. Situado justo al lado de Kantstraße Road, en el distrito de Charlottenburg de la ciudad, sirve platos tradicionales alemanes a precios asequibles. Fue tan bueno, de hecho, que fuimos por segunda vez hacia el final de nuestras vacaciones. En nuestra primera visita, tuve spätzle con champiñones blancos frescos en crema. Estaba delicioso y lleno de sabor, con una generosa porción de spätzle y hongos. Mi compañero de comedor, por su parte, comió spätzle con chile, tomates frescos, cebollas y espinacas. Este plato fue igualmente exitoso, con la cantidad justa de chile para darle un poco de patada y una gran cantidad de tomates frescos. El plato era abundante y sabroso, con los fideos cocinados perfectamente - no demasiado masticable y no demasiado suave. Mi compañero de comedor, igualmente dispuesto a cambiar las cosas, pidió tocino y tortilla de patatas con ensalada y encurtidos. La tortilla estaba bien cocida con una cantidad generosa de relleno, aunque era un poco sosa y carente de sabor en comparación con los otros platos que teníamos. El excelente servicio aquí es particularmente digno de señalar. Los camareros fueron atentos y amables, y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. Igual de importante, la comida llegó a tiempo, no más de 15 minutos después de que hicimos nuestro pedido. Amazing experience even for first time travellers! Food was amazing and perfect for those looking for authentic German food. Service was fast and servers were polite and friendly. The menu also had great variety and the prices were also very affordable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area 10/10 restaurant!

Plain food - friendly staff - was okay

It's always good and tasty there. Sometimes the food takes a little longer and they always need a little more salt, but I still enjoy coming back. Reservations are highly recommended, but don't call during lunchtime, or you'll get a phone call.

I can only recommend this restaurant with reservations. The service was a bit overwhelmed. There were frequent minor misunderstandings at neighboring tables. However, we ultimately got everything we wanted, albeit with slight delays. Regarding the food: I personally ordered Leberkäse (meatloaf) with fried potatoes. The Leberkäse (meatloaf) was deep-fried, not fried. Half a minute longer in the fryer, and it would have been inedible. It was borderline bad. The fried potatoes were extremely greasy and not crispy at all. The bacon and onions were almost raw. The lettuce was okay; the tomatoes weren't cut all the way through, with a small piece still attached to the skin. The mushroom cream sauce wasn't that great. We suspect it was made with ready-made powder or instant broth. The cheese spaetzle (cheese spaetzle) was good, the potato pancakes with salmon were good, and the meatballs and baked spaetzle with chicken strips were okay, although also quite greasy. Anyone who wants authentic German cuisine should choose carefully or find another restaurant.
