Zula Restaurant in Berlin

Here for lunch on a business trip, had a great Sabich, baked cauliflower was also excellent and the service friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

The food was very tasty. However, the "large" portions were rather small, and you had to order additional side dishes to feel full. Consequently, it was also a bit more expensive.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. The portions were generous and tasty. The prices were fair.

Good food, we ordered a large humus with 3 different topping, pine nuts, caramelized onions and baba ganoush. Out of those the onions were occupying the largest portion. We were two but they only provided 1 pita , we had to ask for more. They should atleast give 2. We ordered kebaps, which were good but overcooked, and thus became chewey, and the fires weren't crispy but soft. But i liked the picked cabage and onions, qnd the spicy dipping sauce. So i would recommend this to people looking for a good humus place, but not for other dishes.

French, I relied on Map's reviews and I was not disappointed. I was welcomed around 4 p.m. with a smile for lunch. It's the best hummus I've tasted so far, enhanced with ingredients of your choice. The final price is moderate, this restaurant is not a tourist trap, but a place for connoisseurs of this neighborhood who love culinary quality. To discover!!!

It's a shame. Usually, you're partly to blame if things aren't going well with the people at the coffee bar. But here, you're really being attacked directly. Just go to the next coffee shop and do yourself a favor.

The absolute best restaurant my sister and I went to in Berlin hands down. The food is out of this world and not expensive. You need to get the cauliflower for sure, that was iur favourite. The staff are lovely and the whole atmosphere was so amazing. We went back twice while we were staying in Berlin. Would recommend to anyone if they're in the area you need to go here. You won't regret it

Without having much to compare it to, I found the hummus and the other dishes really delicious. More bread would have been nice, though. The prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly, except for the fact that they initially didn't notice us outside. (08/2025)

Food was great but the server was very disrespectful, we had a coupon from NeoTaste and made a little mistake and asked for another second to discuss, the server was so upset with us and walked away before we finished our sentence and gave us our order with an attitude.

Hummus was ok, but the portions were fairly small for having cost so much.

Perfect for a variety of occasions—be it an evening with friends, Aperol and snacks, or a relaxed dinner for two. Delicious, friendly, and cozy!

If there was a way to give this 7 stars I would give it 8. Everything i have tried here has left me wet in the mouth for days. Also the female waiter with brown hair is also somehow a mind reader and you get everything you need before you even thought about it. Amazing

In my opinion, the tastiest hummus in town. A huge selection, my favorite being plain hummus with fried mushrooms and chicken. Everything is fresh and delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the homemade lemonades are also great. I'll try the kebab next time I visit.

Food was quite abysmal - the chickpea salad literally tasted like someone had just opened a tin of chickpeas, put in one tomato and a tiny sprinkling of herbs.

Been there for the third time. Really delicious food at reasonable prices and with friendly service. The Zula salad and the Sabich are amazing. Some of the portions are huge. It's usually very crowded, especially outside. You can sit outside under large trees on a quiet street – a lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended for larger groups. We'll be back!

over-payed for small plates of food and they overcharged us for bread?? Weird experience and the waiter/waitress were mean for absolutely no reason. Never leave reviews but this one was a must. Stay away if u value ur money

We had to wait almost an hour for our food last night because, according to the waiter, there was only one cook and there were many Wolt orders at the same time, which were prioritized over the diners. The food was delicious, the service was nice, but this is a system that I find unacceptable.

A lovely chill place serving Hummus and similar in one of the most beautiful corners in Berlin. Warm Pita-bread from the oven. Nice tables both in- and out-door. Tap-water, and general generosity. All in all a great place.

One of my favorite restaurants. The hummus is simply excellent and the cauliflower is a must, so we ordered it twice. It's a great place to comfortably feast and enjoy delicacies together. The quinoa salad was excellent.

The waitress only came to us after 30 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty, and she also said that we didn't need to give a tip because they weren't allowed to keep it anyway... The food came to the table cold and was no longer edible.

The food is very good. However, it can happen that the staff overhears the conversations at the table and then informs the guests that certain topics are unwelcome in the restaurant and that they should not discuss them - of course only after the guests have paid the bill and given a proper tip.

Service was very unprofessional. When I asked about an item on the menu, the waitress asked me very rudely if I could read.

Service was friendly but pretty overwhelmed. The food was okay but nothing more. We had to sit inside since the outside seats were all taken. The smell inside wasn’t very pleasant, like old cooking oil. Wouldn’t recommend.

Honest vibes at Zula. My Medjara dish was a bit dry, but my partner’s hummus dish (Zula Classic) was OK. I liked the quick service and the free water.

Unfortunately, the price in relation to the quantity/quality is an absolute disgrace. Especially with the delivery options. Grilled aubergine for €8 - what's popular: a carelessly charred slice, 1.5 cm thick and 8 cm long, for €8!!!🤣

Sabich was completely ok, but nothing special, not enough eggplant in it. Fries super tasty. The vegetables were far too few for the price, 6 euros for 3 slices of cucumbers, 3 slices of carrots and a few strips of cabbage is a disgrace. The 6 euros were pure waste. Almost as expensive as the Sabich, it is disproportionate.

Large selection of Israeli food, delicious hummus, delicious salad, great hot dishes. Fast & attentive service. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The portions were adequate & very filling. Gladly again :)

The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately service was very bad. We waited 40 minutes for the food, the place wasn't full. She waited over 30 minutes after eating and was not asked if we wanted something more to drink. Then the chairs were put up, even though there were still 30 minutes until the restaurant closed. Unfortunately it was rather disappointing, the service was friendly and the hummus tasted really good - the Shakshuka really isn't recommended. It was far too little for the price and for some reason difficult to digest. Drinks are also overpriced at €6.90 for a bottle of water. It's a shame, I think the shop has potential but there are better things out there at the moment

The best hummus I know. :) In summer you can sit under shady trees on a quiet street with plenty of space. Price performance is definitely right here too. My tip: Kings & Queens Hummus. 🤤

Very tasty Levantine/ Mediterranean food!

2019 I had kebab with fries, the portion and presentation was similar to a portion of Cevapcici with fries from any Berlin snack bar, at the snack bar you also get hot onions. And you only pay a third of the price. The portion of Shakshuka tasted okay, and the bread with it was delicious. But here too the price of tomatoes with poached eggs was unreasonably high. Maybe it's the area and the commercial rents are just too high here. I think it was my last attempt to eat out in the area. 2024 After four years, a new attempt, the result is similar, a palm-sized pita bread with chicken strips and a cauliflower plus several spinach falafel balls. The pita bread was filled with small, chopped diced cucumbers, celery stalks and a boiled egg in slices, I didn't have any chicken strips, just a few crumbs of chicken meat. Price performance underground. The cauliflower was delicious and the sauce with it was very good. The quality of the bread that was served decreased significantly, the dip that went with it was very simple, pure sour cream, with a leaf of peppermint.

User to be a hell lot better. The service was abysmal, the hummus was good but used to be better. The pickles were disappointing and the salat was missing half the ingredients written in the menu.

Zula has great and tasty food. I always come for the grilled chicken, hummus and cauliflower. Unfortunately the service is truly a catastrophe (Spanish waitresses) are very unfriendly, impolite and uncooperative. The client should always be treated like a king especially when you leave a lot of money cause this restaurant is not cheap! The waitresses literally kicked us out (we couldn't finish our food and it would take maybe another 5 min) cause the kitchen had to clean the plates!!!!! In the culture of middle-east cuisine impossible - very sad!

Recipe of the hummus changed, it used to be amazing and is now average at best. It was the only reason I came here frequently, looks like I won't be coming back

Delicious food, no question, even if Zula is not the best Israeli restaurant in the neighborhood. But the drink prices: they are beyond outrageous. 4.20 for a 0.2l ginger ale from the bottle or tea for over 5 euros: that's a real rip-off

It's a pleasant place. Peaceful. Clean. Price performance is very poor. The products are good, but I think we Turks expect hummus and bread to be hot. We find hummus more delicious with butter and parsley.

Not gonna lie it was the hummus of my life. Portion size was more than enough, Weinschorle also amazing, nice vibes outside.

The water is more expensive there than at the airport. You are immediately offered water and brought two bottles. Only at the end do you realize that a bottle costs a whopping €6.90... The food is delicious but some ingredients are left out even though they are in the description of the dish. The portions are too small for the price. It was rather disappointing.

Unfortunately I have to join in. The Zula has deteriorated extremely. Some things have changed. Things are no longer included in orders, pickles etc., there are no longer schnitzels either. The food is generally warmed up a bit carelessly. Pitas were from the microwave and therefore had hard spots. We won't be coming back. Service still ok, but average. Things used to be better here, even if I don't usually say so.

Zula has good options for meals, the homus with chicken and mushrooms was good and the cauliflower very tasty. I highly recommend it.

The food was very tasty! Good sized portions, crispy fries, everything tasted really good, including the hummus! It’s a nice, cosy and casual place. Shame though that half of the service was rude, arrogant and ungrateful to the point that it spoiled the evening a little bit. Kudos to the other half of the service team who could make up to it.
