Vermutlich der beste Hummus in Berlin

Ein tolles Lokal mit leckerem Hummus. Ich finde es etwas teuer, aber das ist in Restaurants dieser Gegend üblich. Trotzdem kann ich Zula nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Hummus ist gut, Personal ist nett, aber.. bin hier mittags wieder vorbeigegangen, einen kleinen Hummus und spontan noch einen kleinen doppelten Espresso bestellt. Als die Rechnung kam, war der Preis eigentlich ungewöhnlich hoch. Zu meiner Überraschung hat der doppelten Espresso (der nur aus Bohnen und Wasser besteht) 4,90 EUR (!) gekostet, sogar 40% des Preises vom kleinen Hummus. Das ist auch für Prenzlauer Berg, außer die besten Kaffeeröstereien, nicht fair. Die Preisen sind hier einfach komisch. Enttäuscht und leider jetzt permanent von meiner Shortlist gestrichen. Schade.

Ich habe zum ersten Mal gerösteten Blumenkohl und Savich probiert und war total überrascht, wie lecker sie waren. Ich möchte sie unbedingt wieder essen.

Ich hatte eine furchtbare Erfahrung in Berlin. Unfreundliches Personal. Der Hummus schmeckte wie aus dem Supermarkt. Das Pitabrot war aber gut.

Ganz tolles kleines Restaurant. Mann kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der hummus war köstlich. Ganz besonders gut haben mir die Hühner Spieße geschmeckt. Mit selbst gemachten Pommes. Preis war auch absolut fair. Da gibt es viele teurere Asiaten in der Ecke!!

ich habe das Restaurant über too good to go entdeckt, es gab eine große Portion Hummus mit Brot und einen Salat dazu, war sehr lecker 😊

Wir sind große Fans der orientalischen Küche, allerdings ließen wir die Shakshuka und die gebratene Aubergine fast unberührt auf dem Teller liegen. Der Orangensaft hingegen war ausgezeichnet und preiswert.

Ich hatte das Pita-Sandwich mit Hummus, Tahini, Essiggurken, Salat, Ei, Hähnchen und Amba-Sauce und es war einfach köstlich. Die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt – frisch, vollmundig und sehr sättigend. Man merkt wirklich, dass alles mit Sorgfalt und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wird. Absolut empfehlenswert und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Ein perfektes Beispiel für ein kleines Bistro/Restaurant etwas außerhalb des Zentrums. Der Hummus ist exzellent und das Baba Ghanoush wahrscheinlich das beste, das ich je gegessen habe. Oftmals ist beides zu knoblauchlastig, hier aber nicht. Das Pitabrot wird selbst gebacken, und das schmeckt man – meilenweit entfernt von dem, was man bei Sainsbury's oder Waitrose bekommt. Wir haben die Empfehlung aus einem Reiseführer, was ja nicht immer ein Garant für gute Restaurants ist, aber dieses hier ist ein echter Geheimtipp.

Ich empfehle israelischen Salat mit klassischem Hummus und Hähnchenstreifen. Eine himmlische Kombination! Und natürlich zum Abschluss ein Malabi 🤩 – der Geschmack Israels ❤️

Der Typ, der da arbeitet, hat absolut keinen gesunden Menschenverstand. Er hat uns gefragt, ob unsere Kinder schreien oder nicht, bevor er uns einen Tisch gegeben hat.

Ich war einmal dort und hatte Shakshuka, war aber sehr enttäuscht. Es schmeckte leider nicht besonders gut, und der Teller roch seltsam. Ich konnte ihn kaum aufessen. Meine Freundin hatte einen kleinen Hummus-Teller mit Baba Ghanoush, der war okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Der Wein aus Israel hingegen war wirklich sehr gut.

Hier war ich auf einer Geschäftsreise zum Mittagessen. Das Sabich war hervorragend, der gebackene Blumenkohl ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und der Service freundlich und schnell. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Essen war sehr lecker. Aber die "großen" Portionen waren eher klein und man musste sich weitere Beilagen bestellen um satt zu werden. Dementsprechend dann auch etwas teurer.

Wir waren von diesem kleinen Lokal positiv überrascht. Die Portionen waren großzügig und lecker. Die Preise waren angemessen.

Das Essen war gut. Wir bestellten eine große Portion Hummus mit drei verschiedenen Toppings: Pinienkernen, karamellisierten Zwiebeln und Baba Ganoush. Die Zwiebeln machten dabei den größten Teil aus. Wir waren zu zweit, bekamen aber nur ein Pitabrot und mussten nach mehr fragen. Zwei Pitabrote wären angemessen gewesen. Wir bestellten außerdem Kebabs, die zwar gut, aber leider etwas zu lange gebraten und dadurch zäh waren. Die Pommes waren weich statt knusprig. Mir haben der eingelegte Kohl und die Zwiebeln sowie die scharfe Dip-Sauce gut geschmeckt. Ich würde das Restaurant daher allen empfehlen, die guten Hummus suchen, aber nicht unbedingt für andere Gerichte.

French, I relied on Map's reviews and I was not disappointed. I was welcomed around 4 p.m. with a smile for lunch. It's the best hummus I've tasted so far, enhanced with ingredients of your choice. The final price is moderate, this restaurant is not a tourist trap, but a place for connoisseurs of this neighborhood who love culinary quality. To discover!!!

It's a shame. Usually, you're partly to blame if things aren't going well with the people at the coffee bar. But here, you're really being attacked directly. Just go to the next coffee shop and do yourself a favor.

The absolute best restaurant my sister and I went to in Berlin hands down. The food is out of this world and not expensive. You need to get the cauliflower for sure, that was iur favourite. The staff are lovely and the whole atmosphere was so amazing. We went back twice while we were staying in Berlin. Would recommend to anyone if they're in the area you need to go here. You won't regret it

Very tasty food at a good price. We really enjoy ordering there. You can also sit inside or outside. It's just a bit dark inside. Always nice.

Without having much to compare it to, I found the hummus and the other dishes really delicious. More bread would have been nice, though. The prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly, except for the fact that they initially didn't notice us outside. (08/2025)

Food was great but the server was very disrespectful, we had a coupon from NeoTaste and made a little mistake and asked for another second to discuss, the server was so upset with us and walked away before we finished our sentence and gave us our order with an attitude.

Hummus was ok, but the portions were fairly small for having cost so much.

Perfect for a variety of occasions—be it an evening with friends, Aperol and snacks, or a relaxed dinner for two. Delicious, friendly, and cozy!

If there was a way to give this 7 stars I would give it 8. Everything i have tried here has left me wet in the mouth for days. Also the female waiter with brown hair is also somehow a mind reader and you get everything you need before you even thought about it. Amazing

Best baba ghanoush I have ever had

In my opinion, the tastiest hummus in town. A huge selection, my favorite being plain hummus with fried mushrooms and chicken. Everything is fresh and delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the homemade lemonades are also great. I'll try the kebab next time I visit.

Food was quite abysmal - the chickpea salad literally tasted like someone had just opened a tin of chickpeas, put in one tomato and a tiny sprinkling of herbs.

Really average middle East food

Been there for the third time. Really delicious food at reasonable prices and with friendly service. The Zula salad and the Sabich are amazing. Some of the portions are huge. It's usually very crowded, especially outside. You can sit outside under large trees on a quiet street – a lovely atmosphere. Reservations are recommended for larger groups. We'll be back!

Our vegetable salad was not fresh (the tomatoes already started rotting and we had to send it back... It's a pity

over-payed for small plates of food and they overcharged us for bread?? Weird experience and the waiter/waitress were mean for absolutely no reason. Never leave reviews but this one was a must. Stay away if u value ur money

We had to wait almost an hour for our food last night because, according to the waiter, there was only one cook and there were many Wolt orders at the same time, which were prioritized over the diners. The food was delicious, the service was nice, but this is a system that I find unacceptable.

A lovely chill place serving Hummus and similar in one of the most beautiful corners in Berlin. Warm Pita-bread from the oven. Nice tables both in- and out-door. Tap-water, and general generosity. All in all a great place.

I was here for the first time today and I'm thrilled! The hummus was incredibly creamy and perfectly seasoned—one of the best I've ever eaten. It was served with tender, juicy chicken skewers, grilled to perfection. Everything was freshly prepared and presented with love. One of my favorite restaurants. The hummus is simply excellent and the cauliflower is a must, so we ordered it twice. It's a great place to comfortably feast and enjoy delicacies together. The quinoa salad was excellent.

The waitress only came to us after 30 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty, and she also said that we didn't need to give a tip because they weren't allowed to keep it anyway... The food came to the table cold and was no longer edible.

The food is very good. However, it can happen that the staff overhears the conversations at the table and then informs the guests that certain topics are unwelcome in the restaurant and that they should not discuss them - of course only after the guests have paid the bill and given a proper tip.

Service was very unprofessional. When I asked about an item on the menu, the waitress asked me very rudely if I could read.

Service was friendly but pretty overwhelmed. The food was okay but nothing more. We had to sit inside since the outside seats were all taken. The smell inside wasn’t very pleasant, like old cooking oil. Wouldn’t recommend.

Honest vibes at Zula. My Medjara dish was a bit dry, but my partner’s hummus dish (Zula Classic) was OK. I liked the quick service and the free water.

Unfortunately, the price in relation to the quantity/quality is an absolute disgrace. Especially with the delivery options. Grilled aubergine for €8 - what's popular: a carelessly charred slice, 1.5 cm thick and 8 cm long, for €8!!!🤣

Sabich was completely ok, but nothing special, not enough eggplant in it. Fries super tasty. The vegetables were far too few for the price, 6 euros for 3 slices of cucumbers, 3 slices of carrots and a few strips of cabbage is a disgrace. The 6 euros were pure waste. Almost as expensive as the Sabich, it is disproportionate.

Large selection of Israeli food, delicious hummus, delicious salad, great hot dishes. Fast & attentive service. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The portions were adequate & very filling. Gladly again :)

The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately service was very bad. We waited 40 minutes for the food, the place wasn't full. She waited over 30 minutes after eating and was not asked if we wanted something more to drink. Then the chairs were put up, even though there were still 30 minutes until the restaurant closed. Unfortunately it was rather disappointing, the service was friendly and the hummus tasted really good - the Shakshuka really isn't recommended. It was far too little for the price and for some reason difficult to digest. Drinks are also overpriced at €6.90 for a bottle of water. It's a shame, I think the shop has potential but there are better things out there at the moment

The best hummus I know. :) In summer you can sit under shady trees on a quiet street with plenty of space. Price performance is definitely right here too. My tip: Kings & Queens Hummus. 🤤

Quiet location. Hummus was delicious. Friendly staff. Oh.. the fresh orange juice was amazing.

2019 I had kebab with fries, the portion and presentation was similar to a portion of Cevapcici with fries from any Berlin snack bar, at the snack bar you also get hot onions. And you only pay a third of the price. The portion of Shakshuka tasted okay, and the bread with it was delicious. But here too the price of tomatoes with poached eggs was unreasonably high. Maybe it's the area and the commercial rents are just too high here. I think it was my last attempt to eat out in the area. 2024 After four years, a new attempt, the result is similar, a palm-sized pita bread with chicken strips and a cauliflower plus several spinach falafel balls. The pita bread was filled with small, chopped diced cucumbers, celery stalks and a boiled egg in slices, I didn't have any chicken strips, just a few crumbs of chicken meat. Price performance underground. The cauliflower was delicious and the sauce with it was very good. The quality of the bread that was served decreased significantly, the dip that went with it was very simple, pure sour cream, with a leaf of peppermint.

User to be a hell lot better. The service was abysmal, the hummus was good but used to be better. The pickles were disappointing and the salat was missing half the ingredients written in the menu.

Zula has great and tasty food. I always come for the grilled chicken, hummus and cauliflower. Unfortunately the service is truly a catastrophe (Spanish waitresses) are very unfriendly, impolite and uncooperative. The client should always be treated like a king especially when you leave a lot of money cause this restaurant is not cheap! The waitresses literally kicked us out (we couldn't finish our food and it would take maybe another 5 min) cause the kitchen had to clean the plates!!!!! In the culture of middle-east cuisine impossible - very sad!

Recipe of the hummus changed, it used to be amazing and is now average at best. It was the only reason I came here frequently, looks like I won't be coming back

Radler didn't taste good, chicken was tough, fries were good, falafel was forgotten. Unfortunately there is no reason to come back at the moment. Good luck 🤞
