Walhalla has been around for over 40 years, and there's a reason for that. It's a meeting place for young and old in the Moabit neighborhood, serving solid drinks and delicious, home-style cooking. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and has potential, but it's true to the neighborhood. The kitchen and bar are well-maintained, and the restrooms are so clean you'd think you were in the Ritz spa. Keep it up! Walhalla is also often a meeting place for medium to large groups, which is where a small weakness becomes apparent: it's sometimes so loud that you can hardly hear the other person.

Homely cooking, friendly service

Nice place with a good vibe (some people were even playing boardgames) but quite embarassing in Berlin to not have even one proper vegan dish (I had fries but they were also not the best).

A lovely neighbourhood place to have a good beer on tap and hang out. Sometimes you may run into the odd cards game. I highly recommend the Schwabentopf, a German dish with schnitzels, mushrooms, and German pasta. Also the Flammekuche is nice as a snack with the Helles or Weiss bier. Staff is ultra nice.

I've known it since I was younger. Delicious food and drinks, friendly service, and takeaway options.

I was very disappointed with my visit. The €8.50 Margherita pizza was absolutely not worth the money – a frozen pizza from Aldi honestly tastes better. The dough was like dry bread, and the cheese was of very poor quality. I was also disappointed with the service: the waiter was barely attentive. In my opinion, the chef urgently needs to retrain, and the manager should also get more involved and keep an eye on what's actually going on in the restaurant. Overall: poor service, poor quality, and too high a price.

Great food, service.... inconsistent

The portion was very small. They could have added a small salad garnish to make it appear larger. As it was, it just looked bland. You know, eating with your eyes is a good thing. Compared to the past, it's a bad thing for me.

Maybe they were just replacing me on vacation. I wasn't satisfied. Last time, last year, it was much, much better! Too bad! Also way too expensive for what they offered!

Service was too slow so we decided to just have drinks. Excellent clay mug beer selection and food looked good so we’ll come back on a slower day.

Decent pub. I find a Greek salad and a large apple juice spritzer a bit steep for 19.90, but it was tasty.

Not enough staff for all the tables and unfriendly to boot! All the tables inside and outside were occupied. Two attempts to order a drink were put off until "right away". After waiting for 30 minutes they said "ordering is no longer permitted". I said that I would leave now as there was nothing to order and that I was disappointed that after asking and waiting I now had to leave. The answer: "There are enough restaurants nearby - I could go there". I have been a regular customer of this quaint pub since it opened and was always happy until the owners changed. But that seems to have been the end of my customer loyalty. What a shame!

Zu wenig Personal für alle Tische und dazu noch unfreundlich! Alle Tische innen und außen waren besetzt. Zwei Versuche, ein Getränk zu bestellen würden auf „ gleich“ vertröstet. Nach 30 min warten hieß es „Bestellstopp“ . Ich äußerte, dass ich dann nun gehen würde, denn es gäbe ja nichts zu bestellen und dass ich enttäuscht sei, nach Nachfrage und warten nun gehen zu müsse. Die Antwort:“ es gibt ja genug Lokale in der Nähe-da könnte ich ja hin“. Ich bin seid dem Bestehen dieser eins urigen Kneipe Stammgast und bis zum Wechsel der Besitzer immer zufrieden gewesen. Aber das war es dann wohl mit meiner Kundentreue. Schade!

Never again. Hopelessly overwhelmed, untrained staff who use the wrong tone just because you want to order a beer. I've had to endure these exasperated freaks yelling at me several times. The prices are also now too high for the mediocre food... A real shame.

Great meeting point in the Westphalian district, super empathetic team. Very nice outdoor area, rustic interior. Food very tasty and waiting times not too long. three times great 👍 👍 👍 great ❤️ for accessibility and the disabled-accessible toilet. Within walking distance and wheelchair accessible to the Spree, we felt very comfortable on our holiday there... never as a tourist... thank you for the wonderful times

A solid pub with a menu. The food was okay, but nothing special. It was quaint and cozy, with the option to watch football. It's a great place to sit with friends, drink a beer, and unwind in the evening.

As always, we had a very pleasant evening after work. The beer tastes very good and the Swabian pot with the steaks is excellent. Service is very friendly and you don't have to wait long despite the house being full. Perfect and keep it up.

Walhalla is a truly genuine and honest down-to-earth economy. Absolutely great food, calm, calm atmosphere, very friendly staff from the counter to the service and in the kitchen. The ambience is simple but genuine and therefore right the way it is. Plus, really good beer, no industrial broth... Plus a great price-performance ratio, what more could you want? Anytime we're in the area!!

Very disappointing. One guest reported a visit in December 2023 where several drinks and foods were unavailable, service was barely present, and the quality of the food left something to be desired.

It looks as if the place evolved into a nice restaurant. It was at one point in time a really good "kneipe" in the late 80s I spent a great deal of my time there during the reunification, playing cards and drinking Merziger apple wine.

Stopped by after the concert at the Heilandskirche...the restaurant is student-friendly and cozy...the staff is friendly and quick...I had the venison goulash with dumplings, super tasty, it wasn't a problem getting two extra dumplings... . My family's cordon bleu a la pepe, the schnitzel and the Hokkaido pumpkin soup were also great... if you're in the area, feel free to stop by there, it's great... A small minus point is: as dessert there was only cake, that could be improved a bit, maybe a down-to-earth red jelly with vanilla sauce or something similar... that would round off the good meal... nevertheless, despite 5 stars from me...

I haven't been there for many years and it's still as cozy as it used to be.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food depends very much on which chef is there at the time. We had goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings. Unfortunately the food, although freshly prepared, was only lukewarm. It was taken back without any problem and we got new portions hot. The taste was OK, but not great. The first waiter was very attentive and quick, while the successor was a bit inattentive and didn't take an order. The toilets are new and very clean. The atmosphere is cozy. Not quite a corner pub because of the high, bright rooms.

Quite an interesting place, especially that it’s kinda German I’d say, something we ironically miss in Berlin :) People working there are also very friendly.

For me it was a first at “WALHALLA”. At first I didn't expect the cleanest and most perfect sanitary rooms there - but even at 50+ I'm still learning something new every day and immediately feel at home there.

Very casual with inside and outside seating. English and German menu. The servers were all so nice. Ate their carrot cream soup twice with sausage. Loved it. Had chicken schnitzel on speatzle with mushroom sauce 1 night, sausage with potatoes another night and salad every night. Oh and must mention the Germany Reisling wine was also delicious.

It's coming back, the old Valhalla! Our Walhalla, which we loved with schnitzels, beer, watching football, families, children, people playing board games, timeless, old-fashioned, unchangeable, and unfortunately modernized and changed for the worse after Corona. We are happy to see the regular staff and the beer-thirsty regular customers again, the Walhallah is once again filling up with nice people. Unfortunately, the food is not yet of the same quality as before - the portions are smaller, no longer as tasty and more carelessly prepared. But here too, something has happened since 2021 and things have gotten better. We'll be back more often!

I could make it short: highly recommended! Moabit Kiez pub with a student touch, but everything that is rare in Berlin meets here. Service friendly, helpful and competent. The food and beer were well made and tasted convincing. Toilets freshly made, unisex! And again: highly recommended!

Sit comfortably outside in the evening and eat delicious food

The apfelstrudel was incredibly delicious, the best that we had in our travel to Europe 🌍.

Service friendly and great. Good selection of food, great beer selection. Ambience just right between cozy and rustic. When football is on, there is always football on.

Unfortunately it has deteriorated extremely. The prices were increased indirectly, i.e., for example, that the previously great side salad with the schnitzel now has to be ordered separately. The Schwabentopf (my former favorite dish there) recently consisted of three rather dry minute steaks on supermarket spaetzle with far too little sauce. You had to look for the mushrooms. The cucumber salad for the daily special was 10 slices in a mini bowl for a dish for €24. I'm just disappointed. You could have done better!

The shop itself is cozy and you can sit well here, but unfortunately the food is not recommended. We had pizza, schnitzel and cordon bleu, and everything seemed like it was frozen food, the pizza was carelessly topped and way too overfilled with pepperoni. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was dry and the Cordon Blue wasn't convincing either, especially since the side dishes were rather skimpy. It's better to sit and drink here, and the prices for the drinks are at least fair.

I was there for the first time on Saturday and I was thrilled. The breakfast was super tasty and sufficient. The waitress is an eye-catcher, super fast and super nice. I/we would love to come back.

If you find your way to Walhalla, you will find yourself in a rustic, classic Berlin restaurant that invites you to linger. In addition to the numerous outdoor seating options, there is a huge guest room, which also offers space for larger groups. The Walhalla impresses with numerous German home-style dishes and a range of delicious beers that are not available everywhere. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right and the service is also impressive. A visit is definitely worth it, as in addition to the dishes offered on the menu, constantly changing seasonal dishes are also offered.

Yesterday I was there for a spontaneous Sunday morning drink. The Walhalla team was super nice and always attentive. In addition to the delicious Kölsch, I tried Hohenthanner Märzen and Kellerbier. I didn't know about this brewery. The beer is great. I also spontaneously decided to take a few (as it turned out) delicacies with me from the kitchen: empenada, cordon bleu, cheese spaetzle and farmer's breakfast. The dishes were all freshly prepared and very tasty. They were also in reusable packaging. I didn't know that before. Since these are issued for a deposit, I now have a credit, so to speak, which I will probably redeem next Sunday. Many thanks to the Walhalla service and kitchen team. I didn't rate the ambience because I sat outside the whole time. However, it was very pleasant and cozy there.

Great ambience and good prices. The burgers were perfectly OK for the price. A homemade dressing on top wouldn't be a bad idea since they were a little dry. Ice in the drinks would be another plus point in this weather. Friendly staff would be happy to come back.

After a long time, I was back in this Moabit Kiez pub, which has been around for several decades👍Large, tidy rooms. Possibility to sit outside too. Still fair drinks prices. However, the pizza was far from tasty. Just OK as a beer accompaniment.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit einer Terrasse in Moabit. Das Personal ist freundlich und das lokal ist sauber. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für Speisen und Getränke ist angemessen. Zu empfehlen sind die Schnitzelvariationen und die Rinderleber Berliner Art hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Great! Kitchen wonderful service great. Beer selection is nice. Only one: Be careful when ordering when the waitress asks what you want in the sauce: either yogurt or honey. It was not said that salad would be served with it, which is not included in the price of the dish. We'll definitely go back, but be more careful next time.
