We were thrilled once again! The food was simply delicious—fresh, lovingly prepared, and perfectly flavorful! The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and warm. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. A huge compliment to Christina and Samantha—you do a fantastic job and make you feel completely at home!

I was rather appreciative of participating in the RSG pub ​​quiz again when I booked the ticket. Yes, OK, it's always fun with friends. But last year, the terrible food dampened our spirits. Expectations could only be exceeded. And so it was. New tenant, new food. Great. There was a fantastic selection of dishes for the evening, all of which were delicious. The price and quantity were right. We were all full. The staff were not only pleasant to look at :-), but also courteous and appropriate to the situation. "The ladies knew how to behave :-). The food arrived hot and on time. I was able to sneak a peek into the kitchen and can say that everything went smoothly and harmoniously, which is normal with so many people eating. The ambiance isn't exactly my cup of tea, so the rating isn't really a rating. We'd be happy to come back.

What can I say? It's 9:13 p.m. on a Friday. Open until 10:45 p.m., kitchen open until 9:30 p.m., unfortunately nothing left to eat except maybe fries... Not likely to be a repeat.

If there is one place to make an overnight stop in Germany, it must be Remscheider Brau. You have the hotel to sleep 😴 and the Brauhaus for eating... And wow! The porc knuckle was amazing 😍 🍖 The beers are very good 🍻 And service is great 😃👍🏻

My wife gave me a tour with a tasting and a three-course meal. Personally, I'm a beer connoisseur, even without the certificate issued afterward (nice idea). I've tried around 500 varieties and have often traveled to cities for this purpose. The Remscheider Bräu is located in a dreary city center setting, which isn't its fault. All the more so for its cozy, rustic interior. That's what a brewery should look like. The rooms seemed freshly renovated and were more spacious and cleaner than I've experienced in comparable establishments. The tour with a tasting was competent and friendly, and every question was patiently answered. The beer-themed food was average, but tasty and appropriate. I didn't encounter any unfriendliness from the staff like other reviewers have; on the contrary, from the receptionist to the four waitresses in the evening, everyone was very friendly and attentive, and there was no wait. The night was quiet, I slept well, and the breakfast was excellent. Back to the main point. I tried five varieties, some of them extensively ;-) The Dark/Duster is a standard dark beer for me, but it belongs in a good selection. The cloudy Pilsner was very drinkable and better than the industrially produced Pilsners of well-known names. The India Pale Ale is a typical bitter representative of its kind. The Coffee Stout tasted very smoky with coffee and tobacco notes, with a long aftertaste, and ranks among the top of comparable Scottish stouts. The Weizen Doppelbock was powerful, sweet, and the brewers captured the banana flavor well, which is inherent in wheat beer but few achieve. The varieties were easily recognizable and perfect for someone who wants to try something different. I didn't get a hangover either and can highly recommend a visit with the program.

It's really bad, I ordered online via Lieferando, an hour passed, then it says it's been delivered, then it says it's arrived without what I have here and 15 minutes later they canceled my order, so I waited almost 2 hours, in that time I could have ordered somewhere else, never again

Good, home-style food, tasty beer, cheerful service... and copper brewing kettles in the background. What more could you want? 🙂

You shouldn't comment on a guest's order. If I want a burger without a bun, then that's fine; there's no need to make a stupid comment.

We arrived half an hour early. It wasn't a problem, the chef was eager to start. The food was delicious. Schweinenacken and brattwurst. Kaisersmarren for dessert. They also have good beers.

We celebrated our child's baptism at Remscheider Bräu and were absolutely thrilled! The service was outstanding: The staff were friendly, attentive, and very professional. The food was a real treat; everything from the appetizers to the main course was fresh and delicious. The pork knuckle and pork medallions were a particular highlight. The atmosphere was perfect for a baptism, cozy and festive at the same time. We felt very well looked after and would definitely recommend the restaurant. An unforgettable day! Thanks to the team.

The ambiance exudes a slightly rustic charm, blending with a cool design! I can't help but think of an old train station waiting room while I'm there. It has a certain glamour of another era. The service is very attentive and fast. Alex and Christina are the best! The beers and special offers, as well as the hearty food, are light and wholesome.

We were there for bowling, 12 people. Both bowling alleys had reservations. Because there was apparently a lot to do, we had to take our first drinks to the bowling alley ourselves. Afterwards, some of the drinks were brought, we had to get some ourselves, and the food order was taken. When the food came, one thing was missing. The promised 5 minutes for the subsequent delivery turned out to be 20 minutes. Drinks were then just slammed onto the table in an unfriendly manner. The bowling alleys are getting old and seem to be just stepchildren. The food wasn't tasty, the salad was boring. The staff seemed overwhelmed. The light in the ladies' room didn't work. All in all not recommended. However, this only applies to bowling and eating there on the lanes. I can't judge what it's like upstairs in the restaurant.

Yesterday we went to Gambas all you can eat! It was great, a highlight in terms of taste. The hut was literally on fire. So a huge compliment to the service. Everything was under control here. We will definitely come back!!

We were there on a Saturday evening with 5 people and had reserved in advance as a precaution. But this wouldn't have been necessary as only 2-3 other tables were occupied while we were there. 🤷 Why actually? 🤔 The service was attentive and friendly and we liked the beers we ordered (Weizen, naturally cloudy Pilsner and Duster) and we liked the ambience of the brewery. 👍 For dinner we ordered the Braumeister Pfanne twice, Remscheider beer goulash twice and the Alsatian tarte flambée. The Braumeister pan tasted good and the quantity was okay. Unfortunately, some of the pieces of pork fillet on a plate had been fried for too long and were therefore quite tough. The Remscheider beer goulash, for over 21 euros, was a disappointment. 😞 The taste was okay, but there were only 3 pieces of meat on one plate and 4 pieces on the other. Otherwise just sauce with some mushrooms.😕 Of course we complained about it and received a small bowl of goulash with several pieces of meat. But the Alsatian tarte flambée was very good. 👍 Consumer's comment: "THE BEST FLAMkuchen I HAVE EVER EATED!" Conclusion for us: You can learn from mistakes, we'll be happy to come back! 😊

The food is delicious, the portions are filling, and the prices are unbeatable. We'd happily go there again.

We were there tonight, the food wasn't good. The staff was poor. I won't recommend it.

We went to Bräu for all-you-can-eat prawns yesterday! Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The prawns were too dry, the dip too salty, and it was ready-made coleslaw from a bucket. The only fresh things were the bread and lettuce! The service was uncoordinated, and everything seemed annoying. What a shame.

Went here for two evenings with a large group. Everyone was happy, the food was delicious and the employees were very friendly.

The food was really disappointing (thin goulash soup, little inlay, hardly any taste). The beer tasted partly stale. At the next table the foam was greenish. Everything was even better almost six months ago. Too bad. Unfortunately not satisfactory.

We went to the Remscheider Bräu again today as part of a pub quiz and were disappointed again. The price of the food was outrageous for the portion size. Spaetzle with goulash and the goulash soup had no meat in it. The beer was warm and stale. Service was almost invisible. Orders were not delivered. When asked about the lack of toilet paper in the women's toilet, the response was that we should contact the hotel's housekeeping. Immediately after the quiz ended, there was nothing left to drink and orders were no longer brought. When we spoke about the problems with payment, we received the answer from a very unfriendly employee that they had nothing to do with the kitchen. There is no cook there either. None of that matters to her, the boss is in Bavaria and she would immediately get another job in service. So that was a statement! It's a shame, but that was really the last time we ate there. We'd love to come back to the quiz, but we won't eat anything there again.

It was my first time there and I have to say it was very, very tasty. There is a large selection of typical brewery dishes but also other very tasty things. There is also a special menu with seasonal dishes every month. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You don't have to wait long and people always ask. The large brewing kettle in the middle of the room is original.

We were there a few days ago for a pub quiz. Since there was only a small menu available that day, we opted for fries with currywurst (10.80). Well, what can I say... The sausage and sauce were all cold for all of us, and the fries didn't taste like potatoes, but rather like they'd been fried twice. They were hard and just tasted of grease!!! We mentioned it and they just said, "Oh, we're sorry." We then paid at the counter while the results were being tallied because the waitress was busy. We complained again that the food wasn't good, and they just said there were probably some minor problems in the kitchen! That was it! They could have at least asked if we'd like a drink on the house, even if it was just a schnapps or an espresso. We returned to our table and a few minutes later the waitress came over and asked if we wanted to pay. We said we had already done so. She then said there were still two drinks left. Mine was a latte macchiato for €4.40 or €4.60. I gave her €5.00. Because I was quickly answering my friend, I didn't pay attention to the waitress. When I looked back at her, she was already at the next table! She probably took tipping for granted! It's a real shame, really, because the Bräu is a nice place. Dear team at Remscheider Bräu, there's still room for improvement.

We ate in the house. Absolutely friendly staff. I had schnitzel with braised onions and a fried egg, it was very tasty and the price was okay. I will eat here again.

I have reserved the location for a board meeting of the SoVD, for 12 people, online. A short comment when booking was enough and we were assigned a quiet corner. We were able to meet for an hour, well looked after. Finally, everyone ordered à la carte. All the dishes were very good and especially delicious with a good beer. I would now like to make reservations more often, especially since it is easy to get to.

Haven't been to the hotel, just to the restaurant. Good food, good beer, good service, atmosphere in the restaurant was ok, but too empty for a Friday evening. I recommend visiting this place if you like inexpensive and tasty food and drink good, especially beer.

I've been to the Bräu several times now and have to say that the atmosphere and the food are good. The beer in particular is SUPER***** and absolutely recommended! The service was attentive and courteous.

Das Essen war sehr gut und das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis top!

Kein schönes Ambiente, was nicht zuletzt an der billigen Dekoration und nicht gekonnter Beleuchtung liegt. Stichwort "blendende LED Scheinwerfer". Der Service ist freundlich bemüht, aber ... Das Essen ist "okay', also Standard, aber eben auch nichts Besonderes. Habe alle 3 Biere 🍺 probiert und die schmeckten alle eher abgestanden. Also, grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, aber für einen weiteren Besuch reicht es nicht.

Waren im Remscheider Bräu um einen gemütlichen und netten Abend mit Freunden zu verbringen. Das war aber leider eher weniger der Fall. Preis-Leistung beim Essen war ok. Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Bier sehr lecker. Interessant war die Tatsache, dass auf der Speisekarte ein Gericht mit "selbstgemachten Semmelknödeln" und ein weiteres mit "zweierlei Knödeln" ausgezeichnet war. Die zweierlei Knödeln wirkten und schmeckten nicht selbstgemachte. Schade das hier (vermutlich) auf ein Fertigprodukt zurückgegriffen wurde. Was uns letztendlich jedoch den Abend versalzen hat (und weswegen wir auch nicht noch gemütlich sitzen geblieben sind), war eine Betriebsfeier in der Etage darüber. Knapp 130 Leute wie uns die Kellnerin mitteilte. Nur doof, dass in der ersten Etage keine Spirituosen ausgeschenkt wurden. So stürmten regelmäßig kleine bis große Gruppen das Restaurant um sich an der Bar lauthals einen (oder mehrere) hinter die Binde zu kippen. Das geschah natürlich, wie sollte es anders sein, mit allen möglichen Trinksprüchen und Gegröhle, so dass man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr verstehen konnte. An dieser Stelle wäre es wirklich wünschenswert gewesen, hätte das Thekenpersonal reagiert und Rücksicht auf die anderen Gäste genommen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer könnten einen neuen Anstrich vertragen, das Bett war leider viel zu hart. Wussten gar nicht, wie wir liegen sollen.

Интересная констистенция (полужидкая), необычно и очень вкусно! А картофель по немецки- отдельная любовь! Хочется добавки

Wir waren gerade zum ersten Mal hier und ich fand es sehr ok. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen war in Ordnung. Das Bier sehr süffig u lecker. 👍

Waren heute da. Ambiente richtig klasse! Der Service war auch wirklich gut. Leider war das essen nicht so wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. Meine Tochter hatte die Käsespätzle…das waren definitiv keine hausgemachten..war ein Convenient-Food nett angerichtet. Sry schmeckt man sofort. Ich hatte das Biergulasch…zunächst wurden mir Kartoffelknödel anstatt Semmelknödel gebracht. Mit der Aussage „Wir haben eine neue Küchenaushilfe“ wurde dies entschuldigt und ich bekam tatsächlich keine 5 Minuten später die „Semmelknödel“. Diese waren unterirdisch…auch aus irgendeiner Fertigpackung geholt und ins Wasser geschmissen. Die Konsistenz war grauenhaft, der Geschmack extrem künstlich und innen waren die „Knödel“ noch kalt. Das Rotkohl war ganz ok und das Biergulasch war auch noch so grade ok…sind aber mit Sicherheit auch viele Pülverchen reingeflogen. Meine Frau hatte einen Salat, da wurden die Croutons vergessen, jedoch auch ohne Probleme nachgeliefert! Insgesamt sehr schade, da ich die Lokalität sehr gerne mag und das Bier wirklich lecker ist. Bitte nehmt diese Fertigsachen raus! Lieber eine kleinere Karte dafür frisch und hausgemacht! Bitte!!! ______ UPDATE: Wir waren am 20.10 nun ein zweites mal da um zu schauen ob sich tatsächlich etwas geändert hat. Wie beim letzten mal auf eine freundliche Bedienung und und wirklich sehr leckeres Bier. Es ging alles schnell und es wurde auch darauf eingegangen, dass unsere Tochter eine Kinderportion bekommt. Diesmal hatte ich mich für das Schnitzel entscheiden, da ich beim Nachbartisch das Biergulasch gesehen habe...das sah leider genauso aus wie beim letzten mal :( Das bestellte Schnitzel in Rahmsauce stellte sich leider als "Fertigschnitzel" heraus. Die Sauce war leider auch eine "gepimpte" Packungssauce. Ganz ehrlich: Wenn in ich ein Wirtshaus gehe, bayrisch angehaucht...dann kann ich doch ein hausgemachtes Schnitzel erwarten, oder? An der Panade schon erkannt, dass es sich um Convinience-Food handelt. Wirklich sehr schade, da die Pommes gar nicht mal so schlecht waren. Meine Tochter und meine Frau hatten die Käsespätzle. Auch genau wie beim letzten mal..die selbe Fertigpampe wie zuvor. Sehr sehr schade. Das Ambiente ist so klasse, das Bier lecker. Es stimmt im Grunde fast alles! Leider nur das essen nicht. Auch wenn ich mich in meinem Umfeld umhöre...so wird von einem Besuch im Bräu abgeraten weil das essen nicht so dolle sein soll! Ich hoffe sehr, dass man sich Gedanken um die Küche macht. Ich werde in ein paar Wochen nochmal mein Glück probieren und hoffe dass die Kritik angenommen wird, ist nicht böse gemeint!!

Tolles Restaurant..waren das erste Mal da aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal, Schweinebraten mega lecker (bekam ohne Probleme Spätzle anstatt Knödel), Burger meiner Tochter und das Schnitzel meines Mannes auch. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam Das alkoholfreie Bier schmeckt sehr gut.

Waren gestern Abend zum Abendessen da. Schweinebraten mit zweierlei Knödeln und Rotkohl. Preis - Leistung war voll in Ordnung. Dazu gab es aus der hauseigenen Brauerei Remscheider Duuster und ein alkoholfreies Kellerbier. Beides sehr süffig.

Wir haben bei Google extra nach einem guten Restaurant gesucht und haben uns trotz 30min Autofahrt für dieses entscheiden.. Leider sehr enttäuschend.. Bedinung war neu aber sehr nett. Das Essen... war leider nicht so gut.. das Rumpsteak hatte maximal 150gramm das ist dem preis nicht annähernd gerecht gewesen. Das Essen war teilweise kalt.. Als Vorspeise sollte es Gulaschsuppe geben.. die gab es leider nach dem Essen.. Und die war komplett verkocht keine fleischstückchen .. das restliche war komplett zerfläddert.. Wir sind als Gruppe 1x im Jahr in der Gegend.. Werden uns nächstes Jahr aber was anderes suchen

Als langjähriger Stammgast bin ich richtig glücklich, dass das Haus nun unter neuer Leitung ist. Es kommt wieder richtig Schwung rein und die Qualität vom Essen ist richtig gut und hochwertig. Das Bier - gewohnt lecker. Bitte macht weiter so!

Wir waren nur zum Essen da. Obwohl nur 2 Tische besetzt waren, haben wir 15 Minuten warten müssen bis wir bestellen konnten. Dann hatten sie kein dunkelbier, das Essen war sehr salzig und zum bezahlen mußten wir auch an den Tresen gehen. Und das alles Obwohl 3 Bedingungen anwesend waren. Kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren gestern zu 100% zufrieden. Steak war Butterzart.

Top Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Das Essen schmeckt super und die Bedienung ist auch richtig gut. Wir waren bisher 2 Mal da und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal :)

UPDATE 2023: Hat leider sehr stark nachgelassen. Essen ist ziemlich teuer, aber der Service ist einfach unterirdisch. Kellner reden vor allem untereinander, sind am Handy oder schlicht 'weg'. Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Nettes und großes Brauhaus. Das Bier ist ziemlich lecker, das Essen war bisher immer in Ordnung. Eignet sich vor allem, wenn man in großer Gruppe unterwegs ist. Das Ambiente ist durchaus noch verbesserungswürdig, die Betondecke passt nicht recht zum Brauhaus Flair. Insgesamt aber immer eine Option ;)
