Restaurant is very good so far. Varieties of food and side dishes not variable enough.

We had reserved a table for 2 people for 5:30 p.m. Parking situation directly at the restaurant was very good👌❤️The reception was very friendly, the restaurant was simply fantastic and fabulously good food. We'll be back 🙏 thank you very much 🙏

Very tasty food, can especially recommend the buffet at the table (from 4 people, including seafood). Service could be a little more attentive regarding drinks. When it's full, the background noise is very loud (but apparently there is an extra room for closed groups).

Went to Rembetiko with the girls today. I knew they would like it. For me, I find the true Aegean, local cuisine here. You have to feel the atmosphere there. Staff perfect, food perfect, service perfect. My favorite restaurant in Hanover 👍❤️ (more Greece than the real Greece :)) It's just good for me to be there, I like going there even without someone accompanying me. Angel hair with vanilla cream is always added at the end. Looking forward to the next time 🤍 Efharisto Rembetiko!! You can't be described, you just have to experience it!!! I just love it.

Great food, friendly and fast service. We always enjoy coming here. It's already relaxing on the terrace in summer. But the interior is very large and has no partitions. When there are a lot of visitors, it can get quite loud and you become louder and louder in order to be understood. Maybe it's because I'm becoming more sensitive and hearing worse with age, but that's the only criticism

The food and service were very good. The staff is very friendly. You can watch the preparation of the food. Although the rooms are open, there is no excessive noise. You can have a good conversation. Always happy again.

Despite the surprising size (including the open kitchen) and the resulting background noise, the atmosphere is simply great. You immediately feel like you are in a huge Greek family where everyone is welcome. The food is excellent, perhaps an extra spoonful here and there wouldn't hurt. It's a very nice atmosphere, but in winter, when you can only sit inside, it's very stuffy due to the open kitchen, the air and clothes smell completely like food. Otherwise the food and service are great.

It was our first time here and we ordered a table online, which worked really well. When we came in we were greeted very politely and shown straight to our seat. Service was super fast when Zak ordered food and in a short time the starter was already served. Then the main course, which was served on a large plate. What I didn't like were the small plates that you ate from. Fries weren't great, the rest was good. Price was a bit high but still reasonable. The ambience was ok, but I didn't find it very comfortable as it was more like a hall. But we can highly recommend this restaurant.

At first glance it's a very nice ambience, but you're blinded by bright spotlights in the square. Food is finished products, meat was dry and didn't taste good. I don't understand all these good reviews. But service was nice, we would never come back if we left the food behind. Normally we drive 100 km because of the Greek Kytaro around the corner, unfortunately they weren't open yet.

Incredibly great restaurant, reflected in the number of guests. It is advisable to reserve early here. The food is delicious and everyone gets full. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rembetiko is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.

The ambience is invitingly cozy and true to the Greek style. An attentive and at the same time not too intrusive service person mastered everything skillfully. From A-Z simply fantastic! Exceptional ambience. I'm an absolute Greece fan and I really got my money's worth here in every respect. For me, the ambience in this restaurant is really exceptional and deserves a 6 star. Since we were in town for the trade fair, our next visit will unfortunately have to wait a while, but we'll be back. The structure of the map is also exceptional. If possible, try the menu for 2 people with starter and dessert for €49.90. We are happy and more than full rolled out here!

Always a pleasure! Fresh, delicious Greek cuisine straight to the table. Due to the large number of guests, the responsible employees apparently change, which annoyed us a bit on our last visit and cost us time. Tip: reserve a table on the outer edge due to the volume if you want to have a conversation.

We had a menu for two people with a starter plate, then the main course came on a platter and finally a dessert. Everything was very tasty 😋 and plentiful. We didn't make it. The service was very attentive and friendly.

The restaurant looks beautiful and you can tell that a lot of love was put into it. However, I didn't find the food that tasty. Meat was firm and the spices on top were not to my taste and in my opinion too much spice.

It seemed to us like we were in a canteen with mass processing. Unfortunately we didn't receive the table as ordered. The food was served like in a snack bar. Unfortunately, the tzatziki was too salty and the meat was swimming in fat.

The food was well prepared and very flavorful. Great service. It's a shame that there are only seats outside that are directly on the street. Gladly again.

We fell for a lot of positive reviews. But here it's strange, either the reviews are bought or the visitors to this place don't care about the quality. The interior is good, but not great. But the food is very inedible, so much so that you don't want to eat. The service is good, but is it necessary?

I'm really disappointed, I was there with a group of several people and the door was simply closed, even though Google said it was open. We drove an extra 50 km. It's a real shame that something like that isn't stated.

The shop looks very nice but the food is unfortunately below average. We went there because of the good reviews, but we can't confirm them. First of all, the portions are very small, expensive, bland in taste and hardly seasoned. The homemade dolmadakia (according to the menu) are definitely canned! This is not how homemade dolmadakia taste (these tasted exactly like the ones from Lidl). The calamari was inedible. The best part of the meal was the bread. Unfortunately, the service was also not accommodating. If you want authentic Greek cuisine, you've come to the wrong place.

Best Greek cuisine in Hanover!!!

I called there on June 30, 2024 to reserve a table for two people and was greeted very friendly on the phone. When we entered the restaurant, we were also warmly welcomed and accompanied to the table by a very friendly employee. After studying the menu (which I think is very extensive) our order was taken. Our food was very tasty, prepared (typically for the country) and, in my opinion, of very good quality. The staff were very attentive and tried to ask questions (not intrusively) whether everything is ok The seating is always criticized in the comments. This can certainly be discussed, but that is also typical for the country. Conclusion : It was a very nice evening that we spent there in a very good atmosphere, very good food and very friendly staff. We'd love to come back!!

Undoubtedly the best Greek restaurant in Hanover. The seafood is always fresh and never disappoints. The grilled dishes are delicious. We are always very satisfied with each visit due to the impeccable service. It's ideal for families with children because the kids' menu orders are prepared at lightning speed. The decor is stunning, making you feel like you are dining on a tree-lined street on a starry summer evening. It's a place where you must forget about your diet for a day. There’s a car park area, and you can also park on the nearby street. Bon appétit!

We were invited to a celebration there and sat in a separate room. The rest of the restaurant is very large and seems very busy. The food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly.

Great and exceptional Greek. The interior lets you travel straight to Greece…. The food is very high quality, although I have to say that the quality of the meat sometimes varies. The staff is sometimes quick and sometimes less quick, regardless of whether there is a lot or little going on. The well-known ouzo is not always offered. Sometimes you don't get one. I can't explain why that is 😅 In any case, the visit is a must in Hanover. If you weren't here, you missed something.

Buffet for 4 people 35 euros per person with fish. All I can say is that everything was super fresh and tasty. Everything from antipasti with a second helping, then the main courses also with a second helping and finally the dessert. Price-performance unbeatable in Hanover and everything really has its own taste, from the salad to the meat and fish, everything is excellently prepared. You have to stop by there.

Rembetiko is alive and well and is our number 1 Greek restaurant in Hanover. We really like the concept and the food here is authentic. No matter how busy it is, service is very important here. We are always happy here and love it. You just have to come here and enjoy life. The atmosphere is more than perfect, you are almost in Greece, only when you stand outside the door do you know that it is not like that.

We were invited to Rembetiko for a family celebration. It was the Oberhammer. The ambience is so magical and decorated with a lot of love. The entire team was more than helpful and super friendly. We were really excited. But then came the food - unique, truly fantastic. If we could, we would give a 6th star for the food. This was our first visit to Rembetiko and, despite a journey of almost 100 kilometers, it will not be our last visit. :-)

Once upon a time there was a small, cozy Greek restaurant around the corner. The hospitality was present right at the entrance right down to the Ouzo bottle, which was reserved for friends, not just good friends. If you preferred rice instead of fries or coleslaw instead of leaves, you got what you liked. But this Greek dish was so delicious, so irresistible, that word got around throughout the city and even in the district and it had to be grown. Now almost 400 guests can fit in the open-plan restaurant, food is - yes, still tasty - but prepared in piecemeal, the side dishes are mechanically placed on the never-ending flood of plates and a background noise is created, like in the stadium in '96. No problem at all, the food tastes good, the prices correspond to the good quality and the ambience - yes, the ambience - has become a victim of success. Maybe it's at the other little Greek somewhere around the corner!

Been there for the first time, I'm really excited!!! Everything was really right, quality, taste and preparation of the food, ambience, service... Portions are huge with the platter for 2 and hard to manage even if you're very hungry. Starter and dessert also great. Nothing here comes from the freezer, everything tastes homemade, from the antipasti to the homemade fries 😍 And definitely try the (also homemade) calamares!!! The best I've eaten so far 😌😋 We will come again 🌞
