Delicious food and good service. My girlfriend is in a wheelchair, the staff was very helpful We are also enthusiastic about the great desserts/tarts that are available to choose from at the buffet.

Fantastic ambience, I had the feeling of sitting on the market square in Greece, trees, starry sky, market stalls and various house fronts were integrated into this restaurant. The service is very courteous and in a good mood. I also think the opportunity to share your food with the table community is just great. Someone has really thought about it here. The prices are completely okay. You should definitely have seen this Greek place.

The Rembetiko in Hanover is a real gem for lovers of Greek cuisine! The authentic dishes are prepared with a lot of love, the meat is tender and the side dishes are perfectly seasoned. We were particularly impressed by the warm service – attentive, friendly and always with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy, with a typical Greek flair that immediately puts you in the holiday mood. Be it starters, main courses or desserts – everything was fresh and delicious. A place that people are happy to recommend and visit again and again. If you appreciate good food and hospitality, this is the place for you!

The two of us were there on Saturday evening and were at Rembetiko for the first time. It was very well attended, people coming and going. We were warmly welcomed and had to wait a short time for our reserved table. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and it was quite loud when it was busy. But that didn't bother us because the atmosphere actually made you feel like you were in a taverna in Greece 😊 🇬🇷 The staff is friendly and very well organized, but not intrusive. The kitchen is open and visible, everything is very professional and clean. You have to put the dishes together individually. We had the classic dishes: tzatziki, feta in puff pastry, saganaki, bifteki, gyros and fried potato sticks. Everything was extremely tasty and wholesome! I find it very worth mentioning that all dishes are freshly prepared and contain no preservatives. Unfortunately, this is relatively rare these days. We really enjoyed this evening and would love to come back!

The best Greek restaurant I have ever been to, with a large group of 10 people we ate the “Rembetika Parea”, which is a kind of tapas in Greek form with various starters, main course and bedside table. The taste was great, with the ambience of a Greek courtyard, you immediately feel at home. The conditions were very attentive and no worries even with a full house the communication is great. You can request individual plates at any time. In summary, the best Greek food H.A.N.N.O.V.E.R Just try it out 😎👊

Very authentic shop with really delicious cuisine. If you're looking for a restaurant for a quiet evening, you've definitely come to the wrong place. The restaurant is big and loud and you immediately feel at home. The staff is friendly and not aggressive, which I find very pleasant. Everything seemed to be very well organized and we didn't have to wait long for the delicious food. Price-performance is also absolutely brilliant. Very big recommendation!

Was in a very large group so not generally representative: gyros were mediocre, staff were slightly overwhelmed with bringing over plates of food. Tight seating. But I've had enough and think the concept is good, but it didn't quite work when I visited.

The food is really great here. No matter what you eat, you never really have anything to complain about. However, if you reorder something, it takes a long time for it to arrive. The atmosphere here is very Greek, you have the feeling that you are there when you are inside, but the layout of the room means that conversations are hardly possible because it is always very loud.

Great Greek restaurant in Hanover-Bemerode with an outdoor area and a southern ambience “under the trees” in the large restaurant. Extensive selection of food, desserts and drinks with an open kitchen. Even the raw products and ingredients are presented openly; If you can't find anything here... 🤷🏻‍♂️ Recommendation: order a selection of starters and side dishes together + e.g. a portion of gyros and distribute them on the table; This way you can try something you would never order as a menu... 😉

When there are a lot of visitors it can get quite loud and you become louder and louder in order to be understood. Went to Rembetiko with the girls today. I knew they would like it. For me, I find the true Aegean, local cuisine here. You have to feel the atmosphere there. Staff perfect, food perfect, service perfect. My favorite restaurant in Hanover 👍❤️ (more Greece than the real Greece :)) It's just good for me to be there, I like going there even without someone accompanying me. Angel hair with vanilla cream is always added at the end. Looking forward to the next time 🤍 Efharisto Rembetiko!! You can't be described, you just have to experience it!!! I just love it.

Despite the surprising size (including the open kitchen) and the resulting background noise, the atmosphere is simply great. It's a very nice atmosphere, but in winter, when you can only sit inside, it's very stuffy due to the open kitchen, the air and clothes smell completely like food. Otherwise the food and service are great.

It was our first time here and we ordered a table online, which worked really well. When we came in we were greeted very politely and shown straight to our seat. Service was super fast when Zak ordered food and in a short time the starter was already served. Then the main course, which was served on a large plate. What I didn't like were the small plates that you ate from. Fries weren't great, the rest was good. Price was a bit high but still reasonable. The ambience was ok, but I didn't find it very comfortable as it was more like a hall. But we can highly recommend this restaurant.

At first glance it's a very nice ambience, but you're blinded by bright spotlights in the square. Food is finished products, meat was dry and didn't taste good. I don't understand all these good reviews. But service was nice, we would never come back if we left the food behind. Normally we drive 100 km because of the Greek Kytaro around the corner, unfortunately they weren't open yet.

From A-Z simply fantastic! Exceptional ambience. I'm an absolute Greece fan and I really got my money's worth here in every respect. For me, the ambience in this restaurant is really exceptional and deserves a 6 star. Since we were in town for the trade fair, our next visit will unfortunately have to wait a while, but we'll be back. The structure of the map is also exceptional. If possible, try the menu for 2 people with starter and dessert for €49.90. We are happy and more than full rolled out here!

Always a pleasure! Fresh, delicious Greek cuisine straight to the table. Due to the large number of guests, the responsible employees apparently change, which annoyed us a bit on our last visit and cost us time. Tip: reserve a table on the outer edge due to the volume if you want to have a conversation.
