Reith-Alpe Schwangau in Schwangau

Unfortunately I didn't eat here, I just wanted to have a drink and take a short break. It's self-service outside but no problem, everything went very quickly. What was much more important to me was the view of the castles. I don't think any other place offers such a fantastic view of both castles.

Only 3 stars, closed due to bad weather, a nice area. It definitely would have been good if it had been open. So, even if there is little rain, don't go there specifically for entertainment. We were there at the beginning of October

Wonderful, but 2 days was not enough, 2 more were needed to see everything.. Spectacular images, I can only recommend you go at least once in your life..

The snack was amazing. We found the price of the snack too cheap and the prices of the drinks too expensive. This can be optimized somewhat. The staff is super nice, nice atmosphere, what more could you want.

Stopping here in the afternoon after a lovely hike and enjoying the panorama and view towards Neuschwanstein Castle is fantastic. The small, relaxed hut with its offerings also invites you to linger! We definitely loved our bacon and cheese bread. And there is a small playground for the children, so there is something for everyone!

Best place for a snack Classic with cash

If you're a tourist keep in mind this is more like a bar than a restaurant. You'll get sit down service, but the menu is in German only and the young waitress was very kind to us in translating. Cash only by the way. (There's an ATM at the cable car.) We were invited to sit with a lovely local couple who didn't speak English and were later joined by an older local who also spoke very little English. The place was charming, highly local, the beer and food was excellent although limited - it seems like mostly beer garden style meats, cheeses, soups etc.

Beautiful alpine pasture between Tegelberg valley station and Neuschwanstein. Wonderful snack with a sensational view. Nice friendly staff. We'd love to come back!

Beautifully located Jause Hut in the middle of the countryside. 5 minutes walk from the Tegelbahn.

You can reach the Alpe via the Tegelbergbahn car park on foot or by bike (gravel path). Very good food, super nice staff and a wonderful view of Neuschwanstein.

Such a great place 🤩. Pure relaxation. Food menu small but nice. Prices reasonable. The service is super friendly. You feel in good hands there 😉. I went up by bike. For me, as someone with knee damage, it's absolutely fine and manageable. I would be very happy to recommend you.

We didn't eat there, we went hiking at the Alpsee. The public toilets were not clean. The parking lot was quite expensive.

Small, cozy alp at the foot of the Tegelberg. The menu is clear, but offers everything you need for a hearty snack. Particularly noteworthy is the great playground where the children can let off steam. We'd love to come back!

The food was ok as well as the drinks, the atmosphere here is excellent, the CDs are quite high, there were a lot of tourists during the tourist season, you need to prepare for waiting and be patient.

Wonderful Alpe within walking distance. From Schwangau about 30 minutes. Nice innkeeper and really nice view of the castles.

We spent a very nice afternoon there. We rode our bikes to this place, which at the end has a good climb on a gravel track. We had a BREAKFAST for two, a few cold drinks and at the end a very good coffee. You have a great view. You can only stay outside, which is why the Alpe is only open when the weather is good. Dogs are welcome.

I have rated this Restaurant this way because I didn't like it too much and here are some reasons: The waiters have been very rude to us, we have not been comfortable. We have ordered 4 waters and 1 Cocacola and since we are Spanish it has been difficult for them to understand us and they responded badly to us.

We were there at the end of the tour to Tegelberg. Located in a very rural setting in the middle of beautiful meadows and nature. Can be reached from Tegelberg station in 10 minutes. There is service on the terrace and self-service in the garden area. It was a nice ending with a delicious sausage salad 😋.

A few steps from the Tegelberg cable car car park, there is this hut/restaurant. The landscape around is beautiful, surrounded by nature and the icing on the cake is the view of Neuschwanstein Castle right in front. For food I ordered the frankfurter salad (which I had never tasted), good but I couldn't finish it all, the taste of vinegar was too strong. To drink I had a krauter limo (ginger) and for dessert a cherry cheese cake... the best thing I ate on the whole trip. Total cost €19.60. They do not accept cards but only cash payments.

Nice quiet spot with a great view of the castle, out of the way of most tourist traffic. We didn't find a menu in English, but a staff member nicely took our order in English. Self-serve is at the window. We really enjoyed the Schwangau dip trio with our beers.

Nothing to eat, except soup and supermarket sausages. Mostly bottled beer. Cash only. No cards accepted (stone age). No parking. Mostly self service. The only good is the view. But you can have this view without visiting this place.

An absolute recommendation ❤️ We have rarely seen such extremely nice staff. The food was simply perfect. And of course the view is a dream. Also perfect with children, as the playground is fenced in and you don't always have to run after them.

A beautifully located little snack bar. You can reach it in just a few minutes from the Tegelberg valley station. In about 30 to 45 minutes you can comfortably walk along a beautiful path to Hohenschwangau and have fantastic views of Neuschwanstein Castle and the wonderful mountains. The hospitality is very friendly and the food is delicious from the region.

Nette kleine Alpe, habe nicht gegessen daher kann ich es nicht bewerten. Richtig idyllisch, Kühe in unmittelbarer Nähe, ideal um runter zu kommen nach einer anstrengenden Wanderung.

Sehr schön gelegen, nur 10 Gehminuten vom Parkplatz am Tegelberg, leckeres Essen und sehr guter Service!

Die Reith-Alpe liegt idyllisch ganz i. d. N. der Talstation der Tegelbergbahn. Für uns war diese gut per Fahrrad erreichbare Alpe eine tolle Neuentdeckung. Das Käse- und Speckbrot war zum Niederknien gut. Beim nächsten Besuch teilen wir uns den großen Brotzeitteller 🤩. Achtung ⚠: Die Alpe hat bei Sauwetter nicht geöffnet. Bei unbeständigem Wetter also am besten vorher auf der Homepage nachschauen.

Einfach toll, super Ausblick, Brotzeit u Wurstsalat hervorragend, Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen

Unfassbar schönes Ambiente! Direkter Blick von der Terrasse zum Schloss Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau. Kuh-Gebimmel direkt nebenan. So wünscht man sich eine Alm zum Einkehren! Super nettes Personal, und das Essen erst! Große Auswahl für eine Hütte, da ist für jeden etwas dabei!

Hätte mir bei 4,8 Sternen echt mehr versprochen. War schon OK, unsere Weißwurst und Apfelstrudel haben gut geschmeckt Aber: Z.b. nur eine Toilette gemeinsam außerhalb der Hütte, eher nur Brotzeitangebote

Die Drehhütte ist immer einen Besuch wert - egal bei welchem Wetter und zu jeder Jahreszeit! Sehr sympathische Wirtsleut und eine unglaublich gute Südtiroler Hüttenküche.

Seit vielen Jahren ist die Drehhütte ein beliebtes Wanderziel von uns. Das Essen schmeckt einfach richtig gut. Die Wirtsleute sind super nett und immer für ein Späßchen zu haben.

Ausgezeichnete südtiroler Gerichte aus der Heimat des Hüttenwirts. Man sitzt sehr schön mit Blick auf die Natur. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Zu Fuss (von Schwangau kommend) zur Drehhütte "aufgestiegen" und haben das trotz fehlender Sonne nicht bereut. Sympathischer Wirt (a Südtiroler halt....), gutes, rustikales Essen, urchige und gemütliche Atmosphäre, empfehlensert.

Die Drehhütte ist bei (fast) jedem Wetter machbar. Es gab Livemusik, gutes Essen und eine sehr nette Wirtin. Gerade beim Runtergehen bei Dunkelheit und Stirnlampe ist der Asphalt recht komfortabel.

Die Drehhütte im Ammergebirge liegt auf ca. 1.250 Meter Höhe, in einer bewaldeten Senke, zwischen dem Tegelberg und dem Schönleitenschrofen. Von der Terrasse hat man, klare Sicht vorausgesetzt, einen schönen Blick auf den Forggensee und den Bannwaldsee. Ein Parkplatz findet sich zwischen den Ortschaften Schwangau und Halblech - ausgeschildert. Der Aufstieg vom Parkplatz ist in ein bis eineinhalb Stunden zu bewältigen. Die 400 Höhenmeter, auf einem guten Weg, schaffen auch Ungeübte. Den Hunger stillen können die Besucher mit original Südtiroler Spezialitäten: Speckknödel, Schlutzkrapfen, Käse-, Spinat- und Rote-Beete-Nocken. Zu verdanken sind diese Gerichte dem Hüttenwirt. Er stammt aus dem Vinschgau und ist ein waschechter Südtiroler. Auch die regionale bayerische Küche kommt nicht zu kurz: Wurstsalat, Schweinekrustenbraten, und Käsespatzen stehen ebenfalls auf der Karte. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren. Zurzeit, als ich noch in Füssen wohnte, bin ich sehr oft nach der Arbeit auf die Hütte gegangen, um ein Feierabendbier zu genießen. Wer im Winter die Drehhütte besucht, sollte, bei guter Schneelage, unbedingt einen Schlitten mitnehmen. Die Abfahrt macht besonders bei Nacht, mit Lampen oder Fackeln, einen großen Spaß.

Мы обнаружили это место, спускаясь с Тагельберга. Ресторан в это время не работал, однако нас поразило другое. Рядом с домиком около клумбы с эдельвейсами (единственное место, где мы увидели этот цветок, не считая магазина) стояло бревно с вырезанной сердцевиной, туда капала родниковая вода. внутри лежали бутылки с лимонадом и безалкогольным пивом. Стоимость 2 евро, которые ты сам кладешь в незапертую коробочку) Бутылки оставляешь здесь же. Мы положили 4 евро, полюбовались клумбой и отдохнув пошли дальше. Удивительное место. Рекомендую к посещению, если идете мимо, спускаясь с Тегельберга.
