Sehr gutes Essen und Service und auch nicht zu teuer. Und natürlich ein traumhafter Ausblick.

Wie immer eine totale Freude. Die Vesperplatte für 2 Personen ist unglaublich lecker, der Ausblick aufs Schloss Neuschwanstein toll, der Service entspannt und super freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Super nette Bedienung und tolle Hausmannskost

Ein echter Geheimtipp! Das Essen war absolut köstlich, die Gastgeber herzlich und der wunderschöne Garten bot an heißen Tagen genügend Schatten für alle.

Wir haben die Reith-Alpe auf Empfehlung nach unserer Wanderung besucht. Das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung! Ich hatte die Brotzeit und mein Mann den Wurstsalat. Einfach soooo köstlich❤️. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Und die Aussicht von der Alpen ist einfach wunderschön.

Mega schöne Gegend, nettes Personal und gutes Essen

Gemütliche Alm mit super Aussicht auf das Schloss Neuschwanstein. Super leckeres Essen (absolute Empfehlung: Almbrotzeit) und tollen Gastgebern. Gerade jetzt in der Nebensaison auch nicht überlaufen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The alpine hut is beautifully situated with a view of the two famous castles. The service was very friendly and ran smoothly. The sausage salad was rather slightly acidic, but quite good.

Die Alpe liegt wunderschön mit Blick auf due beiden berühmten Schlösser. Der Service war sehr freundlich und lief reibungslos.Der Wurstsalat war eher von der leicht sauren Art, aber ziemlich gut.

Das Beste um draußen mit Blick auf die Schlösser ein Schönes Helles und eine seeeehr gute Brotzeitplatte zu genießen. Klein aber fein und super netter Service. Man muss Glück haben um einen Platz zu bekommen, aber gesellig (wie in Bayern üblich) kann man sich auch Tische teilen. Wir waren sofort Wiederholungstäter und kommen auch wieder.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, die Nähe von Neuschwsnstein bei sympathischen Wirtsleuten und gutem Vesper und Getränken zu genießen!

Als Stadtmensch kann ich nur sagen: Schöner geht's nimmer! Traumhafte Sicht auf das Märchenschloss, angenehmer Bio-Lärm (Kuhglockengeläut), sehr nette Wirtsleute, leckere regionale Speisen und Getränke. Ist auch einen Umweg wert! Weiter so Bettina, Christian und natürlich Wolfgang Upgrade 06/23: Wechsel der Bewirtung. Christian noch dort, aber nicht gastronomisch... Immer noch lecker, auch die Aussicht ist natürlich unverändert. Aber die Herzlichkeit fehlt, schöne neue Professionalität?!? Upgrade 10/25: Back to the roots. Wieder bodenständiger und freundlicher, ein echter Tipp!

Ein toller Ort um Kraft zu tanken und die Aussicht zu genießen. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut sowie der Service. Wir waren im Urlaub 2 x dort und werden beim nächsten mal auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Ein nettes, kleines, gemütliches Lokal. Wir haben uns aufgrund der Bewertungen dort eingefunden, waren aber von der sehr begrenzten Speisekarte überrascht – Würstchen, Aufschnitt und Suppe. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft.

Gemütliche bayerische Gastlichkeit. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr leckere Brotzeit und hausgemachte Kuchen. Die Aussicht ist beeindruckend. Ein kleiner Spielplatz ist auch vorhanden. Gerne wieder 😎

Essen und Kuchen sehr gut. Personal überaus sehr freundlich die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und schön. Wir Schwaben kommen wieder. 21.10.2025. Haben uns auf den Weg zur Alpe gemacht und mussten feststellen die zwei Mädels machen ihre Arbeit sehr gut. Essen war sehr gut und alle waren sehr freundlich. Gulaschsuppe und Wurstsalat sehr lecker 😋 wir können euch nur weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu Euch.

After the downhill hike, we landed at the Reith-Alpe – and it was simply the perfect end to the day. Sitting in the sun, enjoying the view of Neuschwanstein Castle, and sipping a freshly tapped Hacker Pschorr beer – it really couldn't be better. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the view simply magnificent. A place where you'll immediately want to head down and stay for a while. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal in a beautiful location. From the parking lot, it's just a few minutes' walk to the restaurant. There are about 10-15 tables (outdoors only), all with a stunning view of Neuschwanstein Castle! There's also a small playground. The menu is smaller, but there's plenty of choice. We had the goulash soup, and it's definitely recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Reith-Alpe is beautifully situated and easily accessible after a 45-minute hike from St. Coloman. There are plenty of seats in front of the alpine hut to enjoy the magnificent view. Including a magnificent view of Neuschwanstein Castle! The staff is warm and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The cuisine is delicious and varied – from hearty snacks and soups to sweet delicacies, there's something for everyone. The prices are also absolutely reasonable for an alpine hut in such a fantastic location. A visit is definitely worth it – we'd love to come back!

A beautiful spot with a direct view of Neuschwanstein Castle. A small sun terrace and garden. A small menu with typical local dishes. My tip: Alpine bread.

Great food, good service, great view

Superb, traditional alpine pasture, very friendly. We went there for dinner after a hike. The sausage salad with the delicious bread—what can I say? This meal is excellent; I would go back again every time. We could see the delicious baked cheese at the next table, so it's a shame we could only fill one stomach. Please keep up the good work and stay healthy. Best wishes to the team. P.S. The alpine blossoms as a topping on the sausage salad are amazing!

A short stop. A very warm welcome. The snack was varied and very filling… and delicious. A wheat beer with it, nothing more was needed. I was there in fog, but it's probably even better in sunshine. Highly recommended.

I stumbled across it by chance on Maps and decided to go there. The effort was rewarded with a very friendly, cheerful waitress and a very good sausage salad. The view is also great.

Such a cute alpine hut. The view of both castles (Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau) is priceless! The service was very friendly and attentive to our children, too.

A lovely little alpine inn with delicious food and a cozy beer garden. We've been here twice now, and those won't be the last.

The ambiance doesn't deserve 5 stars! Great service, delicious food at reasonable prices. The "hiking trail" from the lower parking lot is great with a stroller.

With our 1- and 3-year-old children, the other huts were out of reach for us. We were all the more grateful for Reith Alp. A short walk from the parking lot by the Tegelberg cable car. A delicious, hearty snack with a great view and a small playground. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

The selection is extensive and delicious. Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of the castles near Füssen, this is a special place. The service is warm and Bavarian.

Everything is great. The portions are generous, even for big eaters. It's a 5-minute walk from the parking lot, but you feel like you're on an alpine pasture.

All in all, this is an absolutely fantastic restaurant 💯 Views of the castles, the Alpine foothills, and the cows 🤣 The food was delicious and fresh. We had the snack for two and a freshly tapped light beer. It tasted amazing and I 100% recommend it! And for all you schnapps lovers, order the Hirschkuss. I've never tasted anything as good.

A lovely little alpine pasture, easily accessible from the Tegelbahn parking lot, even with an older model! There's also a lovely playground for children. The view of both castles is wonderful.

Unfortunately I didn't eat here, I just wanted to have a drink and take a short break. It's self-service outside but no problem, everything went very quickly. What was much more important to me was the view of the castles. I don't think any other place offers such a fantastic view of both castles.

Only 3 stars, closed due to bad weather, a nice area. It definitely would have been good if it had been open. So, even if there is little rain, don't go there specifically for entertainment. We were there at the beginning of October

The snack was amazing. We found the price of the snack too cheap and the prices of the drinks too expensive. This can be optimized somewhat. The staff is super nice, nice atmosphere, what more could you want.

Stopping here in the afternoon after a lovely hike and enjoying the panorama and view towards Neuschwanstein Castle is fantastic. The small, relaxed hut with its offerings also invites you to linger! We definitely loved our bacon and cheese bread. And there is a small playground for the children, so there is something for everyone!

Best place for a snack Classic with cash

If you're a tourist keep in mind this is more like a bar than a restaurant. You'll get sit down service, but the menu is in German only and the young waitress was very kind to us in translating. Cash only by the way. (There's an ATM at the cable car.) We were invited to sit with a lovely local couple who didn't speak English and were later joined by an older local who also spoke very little English. The place was charming, highly local, the beer and food was excellent although limited - it seems like mostly beer garden style meats, cheeses, soups etc.

You can reach the Alpe via the Tegelbergbahn car park on foot or by bike (gravel path). Very good food, super nice staff and a wonderful view of Neuschwanstein.

Such a great place 🤩. Pure relaxation. Food menu small but nice. Prices reasonable. The service is super friendly. You feel in good hands there 😉. I went up by bike. For me, as someone with knee damage, it's absolutely fine and manageable. I would be very happy to recommend you.

We didn't eat there, we went hiking at the Alpsee. The public toilets were not clean. The parking lot was quite expensive.
