We had tickets for Rose Monday and went to Reissdorf am Hahnentor immediately after Zoch. The store was half full at best and you could count people under 60 on one hand. If you take into account the advantage of the fairings, maybe U70 too. We waited with excellent Metthappen (the second star next to the delicious Reissdorf) in the hope that it would get better. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. We then decided to celebrate in a more age-appropriate way and went to the Marienbildchen. Are in their late forties themselves. Unfortunately it cannot be compared at all with the audience at Reissdorf on Severinstrasse.

Simple and uncomplicated food and delicious Kölsch in a pub atmosphere. Gladly again every time. However, you should reserve a table otherwise you might not get a seat. Until next time we'll be back!!!

From the food of one of the best breweries in Cologne and has been for years! Were there again at the weekend, roast beef with fried potatoes, great! Fish & chips, great! Decent portions! Fast, friendly (older) staff, really praiseworthy! Reissdorf is world class anyway!

We went there yesterday after the stadium with seven people. Luckily we had reserved a table, as it was obviously full on a Sunday afternoon. Despite the numerous guests, we were served very friendly and attentively. The food was very tasty and the portions were very filling. We'll definitely be back.

In itself very comfortable, delicious kölsch. Fleet condition. But please, if you close at midnight and want to order a kölsch at 11:40 p.m., you won't be allowed. Apparently the regular customers spend 30 minutes drinking a glass of kölsch. When you asked if you could get another round of kölsch and pay the bill straight away, you were rudely turned away by the manager - apparently money stinks. I would say managing director, yes, but running the business, no. Thanks for nothing.

Unfortunately it is the worst Reissdorf brewery I have ever been to. As soon as you have a dog with you, the service is as unfriendly as possible. No wonder there are so many bad reviews about it, which might give you something to think about. Of course, I will not recommend this brewery under any circumstances and I will also advise against it to my employer. It's a shame that there is such a bad Reissdorf Brauhaus in Cologne. Of course I will never eat anything here.

Kindness? None! Reason: Changed from one table to another: Distance: Not a meter!. Announcement from the waitress: “This is not welcome without prior approval.” - It's nice that Cologne has much friendlier breweries.

Cozy...the Christmas decorations were great, our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was ok. What wasn't so good was that the fried potatoes were swimming in fat. We said it..it would be nice if there were less in the future.......otherwise, the Cologne way of life

Super delicious food, great service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious Kölsch. However, the price is slightly higher.

Despite the central location, it's a very nice brewery where fortunately not so many tourists get lost. Very nice Köbes and cozy places, although the ventilation in the back area is not always ideal. The food is also good, although the portion size sometimes varies a bit.

The food we ordered was very tasty, but I would have liked more choice of drinks. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. Keep it up!!!

We like to sit there in the summer, even though it's right on the street. There is always something to see around the Hahnentor :) the food is very tasty, the service is very nice. A mixture of brewery atmosphere with sun, air and lively city life. You have to be a little lucky to get a table :) ✊️

Hello, yesterday I was at Reisforf am Hahnentor for the first time. I became aware of the Reisdorf am Hahnentor through comments on Facebook, especially the way the owners write. I can only recommend this restaurant to you, all your wishes when ordering were implemented perfectly, not like in some other restaurants where they say it can't be done. The food was delicious, the Kölsch was cold and the reservation in advance worked really well. Last but not least, I would poach our waitress Pheline immediately if I were to open a restaurant, that's how hospitality and service work. So thumbs up from me and for Pheline Both. Auch von einem Brauhaus hätte ich einen sympathischeren Umgang erwartet. Einer bestellt ein Radler, der andere ein großes Alster. Mit keiner Silbe wird erwähnt das man keine Mixgetränke ausschenkt und automatisch bekommt man ein Kölsch und die Sprite und die Fanta in einer separaten Flasche. Unverständnis seitens der Bedienung das man irritiert ist und später beim zahlen fragt die eine Kollegin ob Bar oder mit Karte. Ich habe mich für die Karte entschieden und als dann die andere Kollegin kam hieß es nur " Karte erst ab 20 Euro". Dann gab es das Restgeld zurück und erst kurz darauf bemerkte ich das wohl bereits ein kleines Trinkgeld einbehalten wurde. Als man den unzufriedenen Service ansprach hieß es nur seitens der Bedienung " Ihr müsst ja nicht wieder kommen" Na da fühlt man sich doch herzlich aufgehoben. Aber das schlimmste ist noch der Umgang der Geschäftsleitung mit Kritik. Alles bestritten und abgetan. Na dann hoffe ich das sich so ein Kundenumgang auf Dauer nicht mal rächt. Aber die Konkurrenz ist ja groß und so ein Brauhaus muss man wirklich nicht erneut aufsuchen. So wird es auch im Freundeskreis kommuniziert.

The restaurant has fallen victim to tourist scams. We were not told that if you order Alster you get a glass of Kölsch and a bottle of soda. When we were surprised to take our order, we were told, "We don't mix." It was also falsely claimed that we were told this when we ordered. But the only request at the beginning was: with orange soda? We complained about it when paying. The waitress's blunt answer: you don't have to come back. And then a tip was tricked out by rounding up that we hadn't allowed. Is this supposed to be a cheap imitation of Köbes' rough-and-tumble attitude? No Köbes has ever sneaked a tip from me. Why does Reissdorf lend its name to such a store? This is neither traditionally Cologne nor Rhenish audacity. This is customer contempt and rip-off.

My wife & I stopped in during a downpour to get out of the rain and we were glad we did. The Kölsch beer is cold and refreshing and the food we got (Currywurst and Fish & Chips) were both really good. Service was great and friendly. Highly recommended. Will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in Köln.

The food was quite delicious. The schnitzel with mushrooms was especially tasty, and the my favorite german cabbage salad was very good addition. The portions are very big, don’t hesitate to take away. Thanks for the non-stop beer service, although it's worth noting for visitors that in Cologne, if your glass is nearly empty, a new one will be brought automatically. The coaster system to signal 'no more, thanks' is a practical solution. Overall, a satisfying meal with good flavors. Thank you 😊

Our absolute favorite brewery to eat out in Cologne. All the employees are friendly and in a good mood, the Kölsch is ice cold and the roast beef is just to die for. We can only recommend everyone to take a look here. It's always fun.

Food was very tasty, only small portion. Sauerbraten 25€ for Rotlohl 2€ extra, 2 mini dumplings I find very expensive.

The only thing I can think of is simply outrageous, no, even cheeky and insulting!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food didn't taste good and I don't even want to start with the service. We didn't get any drinks after asking several times, and the boss doesn't see it either and encourages his employees to be rude. I would never go here again, no matter what!!! Definitely not recommended, rather go hungry!!!!!!!! I would love to give it -5 stars but that's not possible

For me the best brewery in Cologne. The food is outstanding, the service is great and the Kölsch tastes fantastic. Sitting outside in the summer is always nice because you can sit comfortably even though there is a lot going on around you. Live right around the corner and when friends from outside Cologne visit us, this is ALWAYS our first point of contact.

Ein Sommertag im Frühling..Köln zeigt sich von der besten Seite. Der Magen knurrt, die Kehle trocknet aus. Gut, dass es das Reissdorf gibt..Zauberhaft, dieses Kölschglas. Einmal unaufmerksam- zack - leer. Gut, dass der Köbes aufpasst und für Nachschub sorgt. Ich bestelle die Currywurst " Rudolfplatz " , die ihren Namen verdient. ( Der Rudolfplatz ist sehr groß, die Pommes passen so gerade eben noch auf den Teller . Meine Liebste schwört auf Bratkartoffeln. Damit der Teller und der Magen voll werden gibt's 3 Spiegeleier und einen gemischten Salat dazu. Dieses Kölschglas - schon wieder leer. Köbes Michael passt auf und rettet mich vom Verdursten. Reissdorf am Hahnentor - gefällt mir sehr.. ❤️
