Hello, yesterday I was at Reisforf am Hahnentor for the first time. I became aware of the Reisdorf am Hahnentor through comments on Facebook, especially the way the owners write. I can only recommend this restaurant to you, all your wishes when ordering were implemented perfectly, not like in some other restaurants where they say it can't be done. The food was delicious, the Kölsch was cold and the reservation in advance worked really well. Last but not least, I would poach our waitress Pheline immediately if I were to open a restaurant, that's how hospitality and service work. So thumbs up from me and for Pheline Both. Auch von einem Brauhaus hätte ich einen sympathischeren Umgang erwartet. Einer bestellt ein Radler, der andere ein großes Alster. Mit keiner Silbe wird erwähnt das man keine Mixgetränke ausschenkt und automatisch bekommt man ein Kölsch und die Sprite und die Fanta in einer separaten Flasche. Unverständnis seitens der Bedienung das man irritiert ist und später beim zahlen fragt die eine Kollegin ob Bar oder mit Karte. Ich habe mich für die Karte entschieden und als dann die andere Kollegin kam hieß es nur " Karte erst ab 20 Euro". Dann gab es das Restgeld zurück und erst kurz darauf bemerkte ich das wohl bereits ein kleines Trinkgeld einbehalten wurde. Als man den unzufriedenen Service ansprach hieß es nur seitens der Bedienung " Ihr müsst ja nicht wieder kommen" Na da fühlt man sich doch herzlich aufgehoben. Aber das schlimmste ist noch der Umgang der Geschäftsleitung mit Kritik. Alles bestritten und abgetan. Na dann hoffe ich das sich so ein Kundenumgang auf Dauer nicht mal rächt. Aber die Konkurrenz ist ja groß und so ein Brauhaus muss man wirklich nicht erneut aufsuchen. So wird es auch im Freundeskreis kommuniziert.

The restaurant has fallen victim to tourist scams. We were not told that if you order Alster you get a glass of Kölsch and a bottle of soda. When we were surprised to take our order, we were told, "We don't mix." It was also falsely claimed that we were told this when we ordered. But the only request at the beginning was: with orange soda? We complained about it when paying. The waitress's blunt answer: you don't have to come back. And then a tip was tricked out by rounding up that we hadn't allowed. Is this supposed to be a cheap imitation of Köbes' rough-and-tumble attitude? No Köbes has ever sneaked a tip from me. Why does Reissdorf lend its name to such a store? This is neither traditionally Cologne nor Rhenish audacity. This is customer contempt and rip-off.

My wife & I stopped in during a downpour to get out of the rain and we were glad we did. The Kölsch beer is cold and refreshing and the food we got (Currywurst and Fish & Chips) were both really good. Service was great and friendly. Highly recommended. Will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in Köln.

The food was quite delicious. The schnitzel with mushrooms was especially tasty, and the my favorite german cabbage salad was very good addition. The portions are very big, don’t hesitate to take away. Thanks for the non-stop beer service, although it's worth noting for visitors that in Cologne, if your glass is nearly empty, a new one will be brought automatically. The coaster system to signal 'no more, thanks' is a practical solution. Overall, a satisfying meal with good flavors. Thank you 😊

Our absolute favorite brewery to eat out in Cologne. All the employees are friendly and in a good mood, the Kölsch is ice cold and the roast beef is just to die for. We can only recommend everyone to take a look here. It's always fun.

The only thing I can think of is simply outrageous, no, even cheeky and insulting!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food didn't taste good and I don't even want to start with the service. We didn't get any drinks after asking several times, and the boss doesn't see it either and encourages his employees to be rude. I would never go here again, no matter what!!! Definitely not recommended, rather go hungry!!!!!!!! I would love to give it -5 stars but that's not possible

For me the best brewery in Cologne. The food is outstanding, the service is great and the Kölsch tastes fantastic. Sitting outside in the summer is always nice because you can sit comfortably even though there is a lot going on around you. Live right around the corner and when friends from outside Cologne visit us, this is ALWAYS our first point of contact.

You should visit Reissdorf once. We had a very nice waitress. Great ambience. Very comfortable seating outside. The food was super tasty and there was also “isotonic” Kölsch for poor drivers 😀

Ein Sommertag im Frühling..Köln zeigt sich von der besten Seite. Der Magen knurrt, die Kehle trocknet aus. Gut, dass es das Reissdorf gibt..Zauberhaft, dieses Kölschglas. Einmal unaufmerksam- zack - leer. Gut, dass der Köbes aufpasst und für Nachschub sorgt. Ich bestelle die Currywurst " Rudolfplatz " , die ihren Namen verdient. ( Der Rudolfplatz ist sehr groß, die Pommes passen so gerade eben noch auf den Teller . Meine Liebste schwört auf Bratkartoffeln. Damit der Teller und der Magen voll werden gibt's 3 Spiegeleier und einen gemischten Salat dazu. Dieses Kölschglas - schon wieder leer. Köbes Michael passt auf und rettet mich vom Verdursten. Reissdorf am Hahnentor - gefällt mir sehr.. ❤️

Love kölsch? Worthy a visit when you visit cologne. Ye, it's crowded on weekends from people all over the world. Its normal. So if you can, visit in the weekdays. You won't be disappointed

We didn't eat anything. Beer was good. Services friendly. Empty for a Saturday, keep it up Germany, the little man has no more money and culture is dying out. As was the case with the Lommi, a people that cannot feed their hosts cannot call themselves a nation. Sad Germany

Wonderful for 3 delicious Kölsch in the outdoor area with a great view of the "Heart of Cologne"! What you can observe here in 30 minutes is practically priceless. That would be life compressed and in fast motion. We didn't eat anything, we mostly only enjoyed the classics like Halver Hahn & Co at the next table. Therefore nothing can be said about it

Born and raised in Cologne, so familiar with the customs, visiting from overseas. This place is your typical Kneipe with Koebes service. You will get your traditional cologne food and beer. Beer will be brought to you until you tell them to stop or place your coaster on the glass. What stood out was that the owner went above and beyond after a conversation about the gin he is carrying in the bar. We inquired where we could buy a bottle and he went down the street to talk to the owner or a smaller shop that actually was selling them, and reported back to us. People in Cologne might come across as rude, but that is mostly show and they are usually good people with lots of heart.

We're just here for the first time. Absolutely great, very, very friendly Köbes, nothing is too much, even reordering food is easy accepted. The food is excellent. We will be back definitely. This brewery deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

Wir sind zufällig im Reissdorf gelandet. Schöne, urige Kneipe und nettes Personal. Hier kamen wir mit Kölner ins Gespräch und haben ein paar schöne Stunden erlebt. Wir hatten nichts gegessen, deshalb kann ich da keine ⭐ verteilen.

Gute Stimmung, auch beim Personal. Für Speisen in größerer Gruppe besser reservieren. Die Kellner sind echt top, so wie sie in Köln sein sollen. Essen ist solide.

My twin brother Stephen and I had just been in the magical Christmas market held on Rudolfplatz when we decided to escape the cold and drop into Reissdorf Am Hahnentor, been here before on many occasions over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, its traditional, interior is superb, pine wood features abound throughout this pub, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Hahnenstraße, its just a great pub to unwind in. We grabbed a table were two kölsch beers from Reissdorf Brauerei landed on our table, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was really good, a big fan of the various kölsch beers served in this vibrant city on the River Rhine, Reissdorf Brauerei kölsch is one of my favourites, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Reissdorf Am Hahnentor we were totally impressed. Reissdorf Am Harnentor is easy to locate along Hahnenstraße. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 3pm till midnight. Friday to Sunday, 11.30am till midnight. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Reissdorf Am Harnentor is a fantastic local pub and restaurant that offer's a nice food and drink's range and was one of the many pubs/bars and restaurants we visited on a seven day holiday in Cologne. This is a great pub and restaurant that's in a superb area of the city where there's lots of interesting place's and a nice Christmas Market on Rudolfplatz.We visited here late in the evening and it was really busy in this place which is how me and my twin brother like places as the atmosphere is better. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Reissdorf Kölsch which were superb and really well priced.This is a superb Reissdorf pub and restaurant thats in a superb area of Cologne and so easy to locate from the tram/u-bahn stops at Rudolfplatz it's just a short walk.(This is my first reviews Reissdorf Am Harnentor). Am Samstag wurden wir vom Brad Pitt vun Kölle bewirtet ! Er hat es geschafft den ganzen Saal stundenlang sprachlos zu machen! Ausserdem hat die Ente zum schwimmen , und eine klare Linie in unserer Leben gebracht Kai wir danken Dir!

Pathetic service, we could get no drinks! We arrived later then our friends but didn’t get any drinks. It seems like only locals were receiving drinks, bartender was not kind at all either.

Leckeres Kölsch auch alkoholfrei. Pils oder Weißbier - Fehlanzeige.. Essen war unterschiedlich: Grünkohl gut, Rievkuchen gut, Currywurst nicht besonders und Fritten worauf man gut verzichten kann.

Ich war "nur" schnell auf drei Kölsch da. Leider saß ich am Fenster zur Straße. War etwas kalt. Mach ich nicht wieder. Bedienung war sehr nett aber leider etwas zäh(unaufmeksam), Ich hätte in der Zeit auch fünf Kölsch geschafft.

Wij komen hier al meerdere jaren ook meermaals per jaar (niet alleen tijdens de kerstmarkten) Deze keer was onze ervaring het afgelopen weekend helaas niet zo fijn. Heel onvriendelijke bediening. Personeel stond precies tegen hun zin te werken. Ik kan begrijpen dat het druk is met toeristen tijdens deze periode maar toch... Gelukkig maakte het eten veel goed.Voor een volgend bezoek ga ik toch eens nadenken want in zo een grote stad meer dan genoeg andere gelegenheden waar je wel vriendelijk wordt ontvangen

Gute Reissdorf Kneipe in zentraler Lage am Rudolfplatz. Vor allem im Sommer kann man gut draussen sitzen, gute Küche und aufmerksames Personal. Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Wir haben heute einen Ausflug nach Köln gemacht, und wollte uns dann nach einer langen Autofahrt stärken. Das erste was mir aufgefallen ist war das es auf dem Weg zum Damen WC stark nach Urin roch, was meinem Mann auch aufgefallen ist, jedoch war der Gastraum gut besucht und ich wollte dem Restaurant/ Wirtshaus wie auch immer eine Chance geben. Ich habe mir ein Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und Champignon Rahmsoße bestellt, welches einige Zeit dauert und dann kam, ich habe den ersten Bissen des Fleisches gegessen und es hat nicht mehr gut geschmeckt, mein Mann hat auch probiert und es ausgespuckt und bestätigte mir dass es nicht gut sei, ich bin dann zu einer Servicekraft und habe das Essen zurück gehen lassen, die Bedienung eine blonde Frau war glaube ich nicht ganz so begeistert von meiner Aktion und hat mich dies auch spüren lassen durch Blicke, mir ist das Essen dann vergangen. Das neue Essen dauert dann auch wieder einige Zeit, da war das Fleisch dann laut Aussage meines Mannes okay, ich wollte nicht mehr. Als es an die Bezahlung ging sagte ich der besagten Blonden Servicekraft Bescheid, welche dann nicht mal selbst zum Tisch kam. Ich hätte eine Entschädigung erwartet nach dem einem schlechtes Fleisch gebracht wurde, aber nichts kam. Ich hoffe dass meine Übelkeit schnell vergeht.

Ja kann man machen, kann man aber auch lassen. Klassisches Brauhausambiete mit kecken Servicemitarbeitern. Bier schmeckt wie Bier, das Essen ist allerdings sehr ausbaufähig.

Wie immer ganz angenehm und tolles Ambiente. Essen wie immer gut! Heute war die Bedienung etwas komisch und unentspannt. Hatte wechselnde Stimmung, warum auch immer. Schade eigentlich Trotzdem immer zu empfehlen!

Rievvkoche aus kartoffelpüree und sahen aus wie kleine pfannkuchen und hatten keine typische struktur. Die bratkartoffeln zum braten waren kalt. Nehmt fritten. Schade, kölsch ja aber essen nicht nochmal.

Wir hatten Heißhunger auf Hausmannskost und sind, weil wir in der Nähe waren, ins Reissdorf am Hahnentor gegangen. Es hat sich gelohnt. Das Gericht Himmel und Äd ist in seiner Zubereitung, unserer Meinung nach, die leckerste Version die man in den verschiedenen Brauhäusern erhält. Bei Fleischkäse mit Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln kann man nicht viel falsch machen, aber auch hier hat das Essen Spaß gemacht.

Hatte Beruflich in Köln zu tun und war Abends zum Essen eingekehrt. Der Service der Servicekraft ( Köbes) in unserem Fall weiblich war wie ich es gewohnt war und auch mag freundlich frech und hatte immer eine Antwort parat. Wer die lockere freche Art nicht mag sollte dann lieber zu Hause bleiben. ESSEN sehr gut und herzhaft. Die Roggenbrötchen zum halven Hahn ( Roggenbrötchen mit Mittelalter Gauda ca Daumendick und Senf) sind extrem lecker. Aber auch sonst war das Essen supper. Preis Leistung stimmt. Fazit: Beim nächsten Besuch werden ich wieder einkehren.

Wir waren am 23.11.2023 mit in Summe 11 Leuten aus unserer Firma im Reissdorf am Hahnentor. Wilde Mischung aus Kollegen und Kolleginnen aus London, Brüssel, München und Köln. Ursprünglich wollte ich woanders reservieren, bin aber sehr froh, dass ich dort keinen Tisch bekommen habe. Das Essen war richtig gut und besser, als ich es erwartet hatte. Nach gefühlt 20 Jahren hatte ich zum ersten Mal wieder Sauerbraten bestellt und war damit sehr glücklich. Der Service war top und hat zusätzlich für eine sehr gute Stimmung gesorgt. Im Restaurant ist es etwas laut, aber das gehört irgendwie dazu. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann das Reissdorf am Hahnentor sehr empfehlen.

Service von Jenny war klasse, immer gut gelaunt, lustig und zűgig kamen die Bestellungen. Essen haben wir Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und einmal mit Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Die Cordon bleu waren zart, saftig und lecker, keine Massenware sondern frisch aus der Pfanne und selbst gemacht. Pommes top, die Bratkartoffeln waren leider nicht knusprig und dadurch nicht der Hit, dadurch eigentlich Punktabzug, doch der Beilagensalat war frisch, reichhaltig und lecker und glich es aus. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und bekamen einen Tisch ohne Probleme, es ist immer sehr gut besucht und man sollte nicht empfindlich sein wegen der Lautstärke. Stimmung und Gäste waren gut. Klare Empfehlung, ob nun für ein lecker kaltes Reissdorf, oder Weine und eine gute Auswahl an Schnäppsen. Allerdings ein 2cl Limoncello von Sűnner für 4 Euro zu verlangen, ist happig.

Sehr urige Gaststätte im Herzen Kölns. Die Wirte und Servicekräfte sind flott unterwegs und liefern traditionelle Köstlichkeiten. Einziges Manko ist die generelle Lautstärke. Das Ambiente ist eher schlicht gehalten. Preis/Leistung stimmen

Tolle Stimmung, leckeres Essen, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Leider wurden wir sehr lange nicht bedient, obwohl wir auf uns aufmerksam gemacht haben. Wir haben uns dann selbst die Karten genommen und die Kellnerin geholt. Darauf sollte in Zukunft mehr geachtet werden

Sehr tolle Kneipe direkt am Rudolfplatz. Das Essen ist super und das Bier vorzüglich. Die Angestellten sind super engagiert und der Inhaber ist super nett! Einfach ein must visit in der Kölner Innenstadt.

Eine sehr schöne Kneipe. Das Essen war sehr lecker und man kommt schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Wir haben draußen gesessen und haben uns den Kölnmarathon angeschaut und dabei ein paar Kölsch gesüffelt. Ich finde man muss die Kmeipe weiterempfehlen. Top
