Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option. We reserved a table for two weeks ago, and after waiting over 30 minutes, we approached the waiter and were treated incredibly rudely. We left. Go to the Indian restaurant Aaina down the street; we stumbled upon it by chance, and it's really great. GIG Gastro is absolutely terrible.

We were here for the first time yesterday. :) The location on Tempelhofer Damm is truly beautiful! The food was good, but not exceptional. The waitstaff really tried their best and were very friendly, however, it was noticeable that they were severely understaffed. Throughout the evening, we were served by every waiter in some way or another; everything seemed rushed, so we kept wondering: Was our order even taken correctly? Which, unfortunately, wasn't always the case. It felt like we were being served "in passing," which made the whole experience a bit stressful. As an outsider, it's easy to say that more service staff are needed! So, all in all, it was fine. :)

All in all, a truly wonderful evening for us. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We arrived about an hour before our reservation time, but were still shown to a free table immediately. The selection of food and drinks leaves nothing to be desired. The drinks arrived quickly, and the food came very promptly as well. There's absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of quantity and quality. The fried potatoes were the best we've had in ages, and the spare ribs were incredibly tender with a delicious BBQ sauce. The staff also proactively refilled the napkins without us having to ask and wiped down the table again during the meal. The ambiance right on the harbor is simply delightful. For the price of around €50 for two people with dessert, there's really nothing to complain about. 🙂

This was my first time at Redo XXL, and I was initially very impressed by the location and the fantastic view! The location is superb, and the view is stunning. I also thought the lounge music was a great addition. The food was plentiful and quite tasty, but unfortunately, the service dragged the overall rating down considerably. I have rarely experienced such poor and disorganized service. It took ages before a waiter even came to our table. After they took our order, we could, of course, expect a long wait, which is perfectly understandable given the portion sizes. However, the fact that the drinks and cutlery only arrived after the meal should, in my opinion, be avoided, especially since there were still relatively few guests at that point. After our meal, we used the call button to order another round of drinks, which, in my view, was completely unnecessary because we were still ignored. The service's workflow was simply very unstructured and chaotic. We had to wait 50 minutes for our next, and therefore last, round of drinks, which was quite disappointing, especially since it was only for three soft drinks. We were then more or less "thrown out" of the restaurant with a bill we hadn't ordered. I have a great deal of understanding for the restaurant industry, but THIS service was truly awful and completely ruined the rating for the ambiance and the food. A real shame.

~ Never again!! Absolute disappointment ~ There were three of us. After we were seated, nothing happened at first. After ordering, we had to wait a long time. The food finally arrived without cutlery, the table was sticky and had to be cleaned only after we asked. Our drinks were completely missing at this point. When we inquired about it, the waiter already seemed annoyed ("being taken care of"), even though the food was already on the table. Then came the complete service failure: The service bell on the table was rung a few times over about 15 minutes and completely ignored. Empty glasses, finished meal... no reaction whatsoever. We then ordered our drinks using a QR code on the table and paid that way as well. After ordering via QR code, we waited another 15 minutes. When nothing happened, we started ringing the bell again. After a total of about 25 minutes, the waiter finally appeared, visibly annoyed, and asked if he should take the bell away because it was vibrating on his wristband and it was bothering him. The bell remained on the table, but the service remained unchanged. At this point, we had already waited over 45 minutes for service and about 25 minutes for drinks we had already paid for, which we informed him of. After a total of approximately 50 minutes since ordering via QR code, the same waiter returned with the bill, apparently to dismiss us due to our length of stay (over two hours). However, the drinks were still missing. Shortly afterward, they were finally served: 2 waters, 1 Coke. The water arrived in a dirty glass and was consequently not finished. The restaurant wasn't full at the beginning (table at 5:30 p.m., departure around 8:45 p.m.). Other issues: sticky floor, smeared windows, sticky table, sticky bell, cold and run-down restrooms. There was no apology for the wait or anything similar. I've never left a tip before, but I did here. The behavior of this waiter, especially in his apparent supervisory position, was unprofessional and unacceptable. Other staff members tried their best, but couldn't undo the damage and frustration. We used to enjoy coming here. That was our last visit.

We were a group of eight at Redo XXL near Tempelhof Harbor on Friday evening. We had a reservation and were quickly shown to our table. There are signs on the tables for calling staff to place an order. Pressing the buttons multiple times was unsuccessful. Using the QR code requires internet access. The place is like a bunker, making it incredibly difficult. I ordered fried potatoes instead of regular fries. When the food arrived, it had fries on it. I mentioned it and was assured the fried potatoes would be brought later. They never were. A friend complained that the sauce on her schnitzel was bad. The staff confirmed this, but no new sauce was brought. When we went to pay, we were completely ignored. Then, an employee noticed the service wasn't running smoothly and offered a 20% discount. We accepted this and started to pay. Then a supervisor came and said this wasn't legal and we had to pay the full price. We will never go there again. This place is a disgrace to what the owner has built up over decades.

We reserved a table at 7:00 PM, arrived promptly at 7:00 PM, and our table was occupied because of a birthday party that was still ongoing. We suggested we sit at the bar and waited for 30 minutes without being asked about us. We pointed out to the server that we had been waiting for 30 minutes, and he rudely replied that it might take even longer. His tone was cheeky and unfriendly. We left the restaurant and spontaneously went to Aina (an Indian restaurant), and the food was excellent! The service there was also very friendly!

I went to Redos XXL with my family today. Unfortunately, we only made it as far as the drinks. After waiting almost two hours, we decided to forgo the food we had ordered. The waiters seemed completely overwhelmed by the system. Despite repeatedly ringing the bell at our table, the waiters didn't come for minutes. Only after complaining at the bar did we finally get the bill, and even then, they resorted to excuses. So, unfortunately, it was a horrible experience. For verification, we were at table 17 at 7:05 PM. What a shame about the animal that had to die for our never-received schnitzel.

Yesterday I ate at Redo XXL at Tempelhof Harbor. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced 🙌 However, the cleanliness of the restaurant was surprisingly poor. Sticky tables and menus, dirty floor. The overall condition of the place wasn't as nice as I had expected either. Wobbly chairs, unkempt restrooms, and a cracked window at the entrance. With only two staff members, the service was clearly overwhelmed, especially considering the restaurant was only half full. Despite this, they were both very friendly 🙌 I wish more attention would be paid to the overall cleanliness.

So, it was my first time at Redo, and I wish I could say it was good. I started with the garlic bread, and it was by far the worst garlic bread I've ever eaten. Even the garlic bread from Aldi or Lidl tastes much better. Then I had the 400g chicken schnitzel with fried potatoes. I ate two pieces of fried potatoes and a small piece of the chicken schnitzel, and I have to say, I'm glad I didn't force myself to eat any more. It was simply awful. Okay, I can't like everything, I thought, and asked the waiter to pack it up for me, thinking I'd give it to my daughter to take home. What I don't like, someone else might like. The waiter left. He came back with some paper plates and aluminum foil. He told me I had to pack it up myself; it was an order from above. Well, I've never packed anything to take away before, and I certainly wasn't going to start now. He tried to explain it to me. I replied, however, that he doesn't have to; if that's the concept, then that's how it is. But I certainly won't start packing my own things here, things I paid for. So, what a shame, just throw it away. That was my first and last time at Redo XXL. You'd be better off sticking with what you're doing; your TikTok is probably doing better.

This is a place you simply have to visit! It's perfect for when you're really hungry, but also great for a fun-filled get-together with friends. For a small price, they also offer the so-called "scrounger plate." If you have a cheapskate in your group, even better—they'll be drooling! Just go with your friends, have a great day, and leave satisfied.

Our visit to Redo XXL was generally fine. We were greeted by a waiter immediately upon arrival and shown us to our table. After a few minutes, our drink orders were taken, followed by our food order. We ordered spare ribs (with fried potatoes for an extra €1.50) and a chicken schnitzel with fries. The spare ribs were tasty, although the sauce could have been more flavorful. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, were delicious. The chicken schnitzel was cooked well, and the fries were pleasantly crispy. The creamy mushroom sauce was a particularly good accompaniment, and I can recommend it.

The restaurant has deteriorated rapidly in the last six months. Waiters didn't know where things were supposed to go and had to ask tables which ones were receiving what, and orders were taken incorrectly. The tables were sticky and were only sporadically wiped down even after guests left. The food was simply too expensive for so much frozen food and Maggi seasoning. The menu advertises a 7% VAT reduction for the customer, but it's ridiculous when there are also old menus on the table with the same prices from last year. Only a few items were a few cents cheaper. Salads were forgotten for all four of our meals. The fried potatoes were pre-made from Metro. The 0.5l lemonade was significantly smaller than the 0.5l cola, and there was no scale on the glass, so it wasn't obvious that it was only 0.3-0.4l. Then, on the bill, two glasses of wine that we hadn't ordered were suddenly added to our bill. Unfortunately, this was our last visit to REDO. For that price, I can get fresh food in Berlin and service that actually knows what it's doing. It's a shame; we used to enjoy eating there with friends.

We went to REDO XXL on Tempelhofer Damm. Upon entering, we weren't greeted. We stood around for about 5-6 minutes before someone took care of us. Not a big deal, but avoidable. The first waiter who took our drink orders was very competent, attentive, and gave good recommendations. Unfortunately, we didn't see him again. After that, two other waiters attended to us. The runner brought water glasses that had been handled by the rim and were visibly dirty (lipstick and lemon residue). Even after being replaced once or twice, the glasses still weren't really clean – so we decided to leave it at that. Another negative point: We weren't regularly asked if we wanted anything else to drink or if everything was alright. With the restaurant being relatively empty, you'd expect more attentive and motivated service. Instead, the second waiter seemed unfriendly and unenthusiastic. My husband spontaneously invited me to Berlin, and we really wanted to eat at Redo. So we did, got a table in Tempelhof, and started with garlic bread – absolutely delicious! My husband had a double beef burger, which looked amazing and, of course, it was. I ordered spare ribs, but unfortunately, my ribs were only lukewarm, and the last few pieces were simply cold. Consequently, I didn't finish them. I pointed this out to the waiter when I paid, but he seemed a bit overwhelmed. It was an experience where I would say yes, I would come again, but probably order something else.

When more emphasis is placed on the quality of the advertising than on the quality of the advertised product, this is what you get. We both ordered schnitzel, I even had the Kaiser version. Unfortunately, neither the meat nor the sauces impressed us. To top it off, the meat was more tough than tender. I'm appalled that the menu offers "homemade lemonade" in 0.5-liter glasses and prices accordingly. What arrives at the table is a glass that only holds 470 ml. Even when asked, they insist it's a 500 ml glass. I'm not as picky as the Pope, but this is a matter of principle. An owner so obsessed with self-promotion can't even manage to offer his guests an "honest" drink? And that's not even mentioning the extravagant promises about the food's quality. I almost forgot the restrooms. Neither the women's nor the men's restrooms had been cleaned in the last few hours. On the contrary. It smelled very unpleasant, and the visual appearance matched the perceived smells.

I actually wanted to take my son to the cinema at the A10 Center in Wildau after several years, and beforehand we went to REDO. However, the only available spot was in Tempelhof. The atmosphere was basic, with a nice view of the harbor. The food and ambiance were completely different from what I remembered from Wildau. Here, it was a carelessly presented plate of food. I would have sent back the mega-rump steak (600g) for my son. It was a third fatty and sinewy. But my son was very hungry. I don't need to experience any of that again. A huge disappointment.

We had booked in advance for December 26th and were really looking forward to it. When we arrived, there was a free table downstairs where we were told to sit. Nothing had been prepared, and the table was very dirty with ketchup stains. After 30 minutes, a very rude and annoyed waiter came. When we ordered, he snapped that he set the pace, not us (we didn't realize it was too fast). When we pointed out that the table was dirty, he came back with a damp cloth, and that was it; it was far from clean. Stay away from this place. They advertise attractive XXL portions at good prices, but the food tastes absolutely awful. The meat simply doesn't look or taste like meat, whether it's the patties in the burger or the much-touted steak. There were ten of us, and we all had stomach aches afterward, and nobody liked the food. On top of that, it was very expensive. Absolutely not recommended. Stay away. The staff, however, were friendly.

We went to Redo at the Uber Arena for lunch today, as we have every December 25th for the past three years. The food was tasty, but the service was disappointingly poor. Although we were almost the only customers at first, we practically had to beg to order drinks. Of the five dishes we ordered, only four arrived. The last one was told it would be "coming soon." After about 15 minutes, it was said to be another 10 minutes. In the end, everyone had already eaten everything and was full, so we canceled the last dish after almost half an hour had passed since everything else arrived. There was no apology. The staff seemed more interested in chatting than in asking if we wanted more drinks or anything else. We also had to ask to have our plates cleared, and we were initially only given four paper plates to take home. There was a party of 15 of us, and plenty of food was left over. Very disappointed today. We probably won't be coming back. A real shame.

The ambiance at Redo XXL at Tempelhof Harbor is truly lovely, especially the view from the terrace, which is a real highlight. Another positive: the restrooms were clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the service was quite lacking. Although we were told upon arrival that it might take a little longer, the wait times were extremely long, whether for drinks, food, or even just for someone to come to our table. At times, we even went to the waiter ourselves, hoping to speed things up, but this didn't really help. It was obvious to our entire group that the restaurant was busy, but the fact that sometimes no one came at all was very strange. The service button on the table seemed more like a token gesture. What made things even more confusing was the presence of two different menus, and we were only supposed to order from one. This communication should probably be reviewed. The food, on the other hand, was consistently excellent. Good quality, generous portions, and ample toppings, whether fries or fried potatoes – there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Overall a nice place with great food and a great location, but there is definitely room for improvement in the service.

We were there for our Christmas party (40 people) – we had booked in advance, of course, so it was planned. Once the food finally arrived, it was okay. However, the wait for everything was absolutely terrible. I only got a Coke and a coffee after three hours, and the others waited similarly. The service was overwhelmed and, unfortunately, sometimes unfriendly. When we asked for 30 beers at the bar, they said it was too much and only gave us 20... never again!

The wrong number of people were recorded for the reservation, despite repeated requests. When asked why it takes such a long time for the food to arrive ,the waiter got defensive and was like oh the kitchen is out of capacity.I get that ,but there is no need to be defensive against a customer who waited for the order for almost an hour. Food itself was ok ,nothing special. If you want to try a burger or barbecue there are other cool place where you can do that without waiting your whole life there.

We were at the Uberarena yesterday for our Christmas party. The food was good 👍 but the staff was very unfriendly. We had to wait almost 1 minute and 40 seconds for our food after asking several times when it would arrive, and sometimes even an hour for our drinks. There were 13 of us, and yes, it was perfectly fine, but if you advertise fast service, you should really deliver on that promise. When several people order a large schnitzel, the plates are far too big – meaning they don't all fit on one table.

The table was only set for 16 people: one large table and one small one, not even a long one where everyone could sit. The waiters didn't care at all that two people were standing and had nowhere to sit. This place was a complete disaster. I will never go there again.

Given the obvious availability of tables, this seemed incomprehensible to me. Otherwise, the food was always decent.

The service was hopelessly overwhelmed and some staff members didn't speak German; we had to ask five times and wait half an hour for our drinks. The food has also declined significantly; we didn't receive what we ordered, and missing sauces or dishes on the menu were completely sold out by early afternoon. The liver was cooked rock hard. Our request for a salad and fewer fries was initially promised but then completely ignored. This place needs serious improvement...we won't be returning. Very disappointing...

A reservation for around 30 people was made in advance for a company Christmas party, but it quickly became clear that the staff was visibly overwhelmed. Just a few examples, and this isn't an exaggeration. The food arrived on a total of four or five platters, but we waited in vain for plates, which were then organized by colleagues themselves. A drinks package was booked, but it took almost 40 minutes for the drinks to arrive, even though it was supposed to be an hour-long package. Then, eventually, the drinks arrived, but they were the wrong ones that hadn't been ordered. Two 3-liter towers of Coke/Whiskey turned out to be just one, as the other only contained Coke. As for the food itself, we had various platters, including some with king prawns, which weren't really edible and were sent back. Are you guys serious? We were all really looking forward to it and were ultimately disappointed. And sorry, Mr. Doste, as the boss and owner, has to accept this. Mind you, nothing is exaggerated; it's the truth. The restaurant spans two floors. Upstairs, four or five waiters are running around, while downstairs, some don't even ring the bell?

Upon arrival, we were given several tables that were neither the same height nor next to each other, and which didn't seat enough people. The food was great, but the service was absolutely terrible! We received our food promptly, but only one plate. After several minutes, we actively asked for it, and then a few more minutes later, we received a plate, by which time the food had already gotten cold. We only received our drinks after getting up and asking for them, by which time we had already eaten half of our food. While the food was tasty, the drinks were poorly mixed, and the service unfortunately ruined the entire experience.

We went to Redo XXL in Tempelhof for the first time on Saturday. There were four of us, and we ordered the 1.2 kg schnitzel with fries and sauces, plus the beef roulade. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the schnitzel with fries, which we highly recommend. The beef roulade was also good. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant! We were completely stuffed by the end and took the leftovers with us. We'll definitely be back!

A great place for a group gathering – large portions of tasty food. If you share, it works out to an average of €20-22 per person – a good price for Berlin, plus a drink (around €10 for the XXL version). The atmosphere is casual, the service a bit hesitant 😜, but in a positive way. Visited in winter, but on warm days, I recommend the upstairs terrace facing Templhofer Hafen 🙂. Kudos to the restaurant for fulfilling my request when booking. There's a shopping mall next door – a good place to park your car – as of December 6, 2025, it was €3 for two hours.

It certainly doesn't always have to be like this, but for us it was quite loud. The seating was also quite cramped, not just at our own table, but also in relation to other tables. To get to the terrace, we unfortunately always had to walk past an occupied table. This meant squeezing behind one person to open the terrace door right next to another. The accessible entrance is also lacking. In the end, we had to take matters into our own hands and try to reach the exit using the elevator, only to find ourselves stuck in the courtyard... Luckily, we had other people in the restaurant who could inform the staff. There's no call button or anything similar for such situations, at least we couldn't find one, and it was already around 9:30 pm. Unfortunately, the option of taking the elevator upstairs wasn't offered! The portions are large and the food is good! Unfortunately, several small ordering errors occurred, and the staff often just rolled their eyes without a word. A simple "sorry" would have been nice! The women's restroom was okay. I can't comment on the men's restroom. Disinfectant would have been nice, and it would have been good if the toilet paper had been unrolled instead of being tugged on. Otherwise, everything was really clean! There's a great view from the terrace. And it's nice that you can take anything you don't finish with you.

The location is very nice. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. We hadn't made a reservation (we arrived on a Saturday around 1:40 pm), but after the waiter deliberated for a long time, we were given a table for two hours. Even after those two hours, there were still many empty tables. My T-bone steak, which I ordered medium, was well-done. The other dishes were good. We were really looking forward to XXL Redo because everything is always advertised so well on Instagram. We traveled from Vienna and were unfortunately disappointed. No problem, we don't come to Berlin that often, so this was probably our last visit to XXL Redo. The menu also states that salad, tomato, and coleslaw are always included. However, we had to search for the coleslaw under the tomato; the amount isn't really worth mentioning on the menu (one tablespoon of coleslaw).

Phew... I'm really full. I devoured the 400g XL chicken schnitzel. It was a lot, but also really delicious. The food there is truly top-notch. They still live the GIG (Gastro ist Geil) standard here. The portions were huge, even the regular ones were very filling. The location is really charming, especially with the harbor view. I particularly loved the Rhine. The only downside was the service, which unfortunately took almost 40 minutes. Otherwise, it was really good and highly recommended.

There were six of us. I think we caught them on a day with staff shortages, which can happen... So everything took a little longer, drinks and food. But the food was worth the wait. We ordered schnitzel with seasoned meat in three different sizes, and everything was cooked to perfection. 👌 The table was a bit small for six people, but it was also quite busy that evening. Edit: Unfortunately, the owner only responds to very good reviews and completely ignores everything else! Saturday evening is probably not a good time to eat at Redo for the first time. We had reserved a table, but the place was packed. There was still dirty crockery on our table when we were finally seated. That can happen, okay... it took about 15 minutes to clean up. Our drink order was taken care of quickly, but we couldn't place our food order for about 20-25 minutes. The wait for the food was acceptable. My husband ordered an XXL schnitzel, and I ordered an XXS burger. The schnitzel was great, but the burger was cold, and the bun was hard (like it had been toasted and then left to cool down). I unfortunately had to send it back; it was inedible. The waiter was friendly but completely overwhelmed. He took the dish back, and then nothing happened for about 10 minutes. Then the plate went back to the kitchen, and again, nothing happened for another 15 minutes. Suddenly, I received a new burger on a warm plate, but the problem was the same. The burger was cold, and the bun (the top) was impossible to cut, even with a steak knife. I ate the burger (out of sheer hunger) and left the top on the plate. When the table was cleared, my husband mentioned the "quality" of the burger to the waiter. His response was a rueful reference to everyone being overworked, and there was absolutely no attempt to make it up to him. I should have sent it back a second time... A quick word about the atmosphere: very loud, servers running around, some poor service, fries on the floor and stairs, smeared windows... In short: Our first time at Redo will probably be our last. We were really looking forward to it, but our expectations were completely dashed! Fail!

There were four of us there: two children and two adults. It was supposed to be a birthday present for my husband. The food was very tasty. Next to and behind us were several large groups of men who were, of course, very, very loud, making normal conversation impossible. Furthermore, the restaurant advertises itself as serving ketchup and mayonnaise without end. Our bottles were practically empty, and we asked several times for refills. Unfortunately, this never happened all evening. I did mention this to the server at the end of the evening. They also advertise lightning-fast service, which we unfortunately couldn't confirm. All the toilets were clogged, and flushing only made the blockage worse. There are very few toilets for the large number of guests. The call button worked; the server even checked it again. Nevertheless, we pressed it as often as we wanted. Not a single server came to our table; we had to actively seek them out and nudge them to get their attention. All in all, it was a very disappointing evening. The food was delicious, but the circumstances made it a rather unpleasant experience. We probably won't be back anytime soon.

We were at Redo XXL in Tempelhof with two other couples (Saturday, 6 PM). We had reserved a table beforehand, of course, and everything went smoothly. On the way to the table, the floor was very sticky. Once at the table, the surfaces were unfortunately also a bit sticky and greasy. To celebrate, we ordered a vodka and energy drink for €50, and here too we noticed that the containers hadn't been properly cleaned beforehand. There were unidentifiable foreign objects floating around in the drink (see picture). During or shortly before our visit, the restrooms were closed, leaving us with no way to use them. With two pregnant women, this was rather difficult. Access to and use of the premises should always be guaranteed in a food service establishment. According to the German Food Hygiene Regulation (LMHV), any further establishment offering on-site consumption should have been shut down immediately. When we inquired, we were simply told, "You'll have to go to the shopping center" (which costs extra). Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated beforehand, nor was a sign posted. Even after asking, they refused to accept a voucher or offer us a discount on using the restrooms. All we got were: "What are we supposed to do?" "It's not our fault." "It's Saturday, and everyone arrives at once." "How quickly are we supposed to react?" The service button on the table also malfunctioned, forcing us to go to the counter to place additional food and drink orders. The waitstaff's attempts to upsell us were unsuccessful, resulting in further lost revenue for the restaurant. Quick points about the food: - Currywurst -> hardly any sauce - Cream sauce with schnitzel -> cold - Spare ribs -> barely any barbecue sauce on the ribs The food was okay, but due to the accumulation of the above issues, it was nothing special (unfortunately). We've decided to visit Redo XXL again, this time in Wildau, to get a better overall impression from our two visits. We're keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that things can be turned around so we can award more stars.

Redo XXL in Tempelhof offers honest, filling XXL-sized cuisine. The food is decent ("okay") and the value for money is excellent due to the huge portions and exemplary staff. The service demonstrated composure and customer focus during an unpleasant incident. Solid and fair. Food: The dishes (e.g., the XXL schnitzels and burgers) are solid and decent ("okay"). You get what you expect: hearty, oversized cuisine. Value for money: Despite the high prices, the value for money is good considering the enormous portions and the guarantee of a satisfying meal. You really do get your money's worth here. Service remains calm. This second visit to Redo XXL was marred by a serious hygiene problem in the restroom. The problem was that the toilet was unusable, and unfortunately, the unpleasant odor permeated the table. ... The criticism is that while the staff can't be held responsible for the behavior of individual guests, a sign should have been posted on the restroom door promptly to inform other guests and minimize the unpleasant odor from reaching the dining area. Conclusion Redo XXL is a restaurant that lives up to its name – both in terms of portion sizes and service. Despite an unpleasant incident in the restroom, which wasn't directly caused by the staff, the problem was resolved quickly and courteously.

We ate there yesterday with four people. The ambiance made a good impression overall; it's decorated the way Redo (I think) likes it – colorful lights and a bit of a unique touch. The view and location are, of course, fantastic. What I found a bit odd was that the "Redo XXL" sign wasn't illuminated and the windows were smudged, presumably from handprints (we ate at 5:30 pm, about 30 minutes before opening). The only other annoying thing was the huge pot that prevented my chair from sliding back. It's these little things that make you feel uneasy. The first server, as well as the drinks and food, arrived quickly. However, I personally, and my colleagues, were somewhat disappointed with the quality of some of the dishes. Perhaps it just wasn't to our taste. When we subsequently ordered more drinks and takeaway supplies, it took far too long. And we ordered drinks several times. Such nonsense means they sell one or two fewer drinks – a real shame for the owner. Finally, the bill arrived, and it came to between €40 and €50 per person. I was a bit puzzled at this point. I had a 1-meter currywurst for just under €30 (rounded) and a drink for €6.50. Anyone who went to elementary school can understand my frustration. I then asked how they arrived at the price, and in the end, I was charged €5.50 for the potato wedges. I had actually wanted potato wedges instead of fries. It was a pretty bad situation, but I would still like to request that customers be informed next time that changing a side dish costs €5.50. I was actually charged for a portion of potato wedges… Which begs the question: where are my fries, which were supposed to come with it? P.S.: I've also been to other branches that make a really good impression, and where all these things are different. In a better way, of course.

I was just eating when suddenly a bald man approached me, decked out in at least 50 necklaces and 150 bracelets—a walking jewelry store. He yelled in my face, "I'M STRAIGHT! I'M STRAIGHT!
