We were extremely disappointed. The mushrooms were canned and I have never eaten a ready-made sauce that was so watery and tasted like canned mushroom water. The meat was little and tough. I expected better at these prices. The spaetzle also tasted nothing like it came out of a bag. Good home cooking is different. It's a shame about all that money. In addition, you are under a lot of pressure because the time for the meal is dictated by reservations. All in all, we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Everything great! Everyone was friendly and helpful in making a place possible. The food was wonderful.

Caution! If you are looking forward to a good, traditional German meal, you should definitely avoid this shop. I had the Jägerschnitzel, but the sauce tasted a lot like a ready-made mixture and was also watery. In addition, there were no fresh mushrooms - instead, canned mushrooms were served on the plate. It even seemed as if some of the preserving liquid had gotten into the sauce when the mushrooms were drained. In addition, the portion sizes and quality were disproportionate to the price. This also applies to the drinks… For us it was the first and definitely last visit!

It's great to sit in the beautiful dining room! Feel free to come here after match days! The food is typically Swabian and tastes very good. It's always full for a reason!

A well-known, renowned restaurant in the old town of Besigheim. Also suitable for larger groups! We were there with around 25 people who had registered after a wonderful hike with the Albverein and were served excellently.👍 I can only confirm that!

A very dignified restaurant in the old town of Besigheim. Our girls meet there almost every four weeks. A daily special is always offered. Food is very tasty 😋

This is a classic Ratstüble with the flair of the “bourgeois, good old days and the corresponding local color.” The homemade Maultaschen were very tasty and hearty. Very nice wine selection with real Quartere! The service was very attentive and personal - you immediately felt like a regular guest. We really had a very nice and cozy evening in the Stüble and it was very well attended!

It's worth it even in bad weather. You sit protected outside and have a beautiful view of the alley. The schnitzel is very good, the staff are friendly, the place just has good vibes 🫶

Wait forever My family and I were waiting in front of the entrance door for someone to give us a table as German Sasis “sorry for my choice of words” and when we asked the waitress about it she blatantly ignored us!!! Disgusting

We celebrated our son's communion in the Ratsstüble. Everything went smoothly in advance with the reservation for 35 people. All wishes were fulfilled. From the decoration, menu and finally the food and above all the really good and excellent service! Many thanks to the entire Klingler family, you are simply great!

Tourist trap! Rarely have I had such a miserable meal!! The 'cream schnitzel' consisted of an approx. 0.5 cm thick and approx. 12 cm long pork schnitzel with a thin ready-made sauce, an extra dollop of cream, 1 croquette, ready-made spaetzle and canned mushrooms - underground! You eat better in every canteen ! The mockery: on the first page of the menu it says that everything is freshly made... fresh from the can and the plastic bag!!! The service was nice and quick.

We were greeted very friendly by Mr. Klingler himself and shown to a table. We were served courteously. The food was super tasty and very plentiful. The Ratsstüble is highly recommended. We'll definitely come back.

Went here for lunch and we really enjoyed it. Since we love Maultaschen and couldn't decide, we chose the "Variation of the Maultaschen" (roasted, melted and gratinated Maultäschle). A very cozy restaurant with very nice hosts.

Rostbraten der Extraklasse.... Gigantisch lecker

Das Essen ist jedesmal perfekt. Der Chef bringt die Speisen noch selbst an den Tisch. Meine Empfehlung ist das Steak mit grünen Bohnen. Ein Restaurant wie man es sich vorstellt. Bloß nicht die falsche Abzweigung nehmen und beim Hirsch landen 😉

Wir suchten in Besigheim ein gutes Speiselokal in Maps, wurden fündig mit dem Ratsstüble, sehr gutes Lokal. Scheinelendchen und Hasenfilet war unsere Auswahl, hat wunderbar uns geschmeckt. Ein Lob an die Küche und dem freundlichen Service👍

Sehr schönes Gasthaus mitten in der Besigheimer Altstadt! Das Essen war hervorragend. Schwäbische Küche wenn auch nicht gerade günstig. Aber Qualität hat seinen Preis. Komme wieder.

Ist man Erstmal auf dem Burg - Berg; besteigen will belohnt werden; so muss man dann auch Gleich im Ratsstüble den Einkehrschwung machen! Fäsche Bedienung, Alternativlose Einrichtung und Internationales Publikum. Gute Mischung für einen Unterhaltsamen Aufenthalt.

Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen. Es war super lecker 😍😍. Mein Freund hatte den Zwiebelrostbraten und ich das Besigheimer Pfännle, allerdings mit Pommes. Sowohl die Spätzle als auch die Pommes waren total lecker. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls sehr freundlich, wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Wir waren letzte Woche dort essen. Die Karte ist regional gehalten, es gibt Hausmannskost, die sehr lecker ist. Ich hatte Wild, auch das war sehr gut. Jederzeit gern wieder!

Dans un décor classique de restaurant Allemand la Ratsstuble, qui m'avait été recommandée par la personne qui me louait un chambre, est très accueillante; la cuisine est Allemande et excellente (sptâtzle frais, croquettes de pommes de terres, excellents légumes ...) la viande est très bonne; ma fille a pris de l'apfelstrudel est malgré la taille impressionnante de l'assiette il n'est rien resté; tout ceci accompagné d'un excellent vin nouveau (c'était la saison ...) et le tout pour un prix extrêmement raisonnable au vu de la qualité servie; et pour couronner le tout le personnel est très accueillant et faits les efforts nécessaires pour surmonter mes limites en Allemand!

Wir, meine Frau und ich, kommen immer gerne und wieder ins Ratsstüble zum Essen. Der Service (unabhängig wer bedient) ist jedesmal sehr gut, hilfsbereit und nimmt sich auch immer etwas Zeit für seine Gäste. Das Essen ist auch Top, hier passen Preis und Leistung zusammen. Eine wirklich authentische Küche, handwerklich sehr gut gemacht und absolut empfehlenswert. Für uns eines der besseren und guten Restaurants im Umkreis.
