Ich hatte den black angus burger und der war überragend, rundum stimmig. Auch der Service hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Zurückhaltend und super freundlich. Drinnen kann es etwas lauter werden. Das haben wir aber eher als lebhaft empfunden. Gerade die vielen Biersorten regen ja auch zu einer lauteren Unterhaltung an. Danke für den netten Abend :)

Sehr angenehmer Restaurantbesuch. Besonders die Atmosphäre draußen hat mir sehr gefallen. Man sitzt gemütlich, kann den Abend entspannt genießen und fühlt sich rundum wohl. Hervorheben möchte ich außerdem den Service der lieben Vanessa. Sie war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Man merkt, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Dank ihrer herzlichen Art wurde der Abend noch schöner. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Erstaunlich gutes Essen, das lohnt sich! Das Bier ist auch lecker aber es ist leider sehr sehr teuer geworden und der Service hat sich deutlich verschlechtert.

Ich hatte einen großartigen Besuch im Ratsherrn in Hamburg! 🍻 Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und modern, gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich und perfekt, um mit Freunden oder Kollegen den Abend zu verbringen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die große Auswahl an hausgebrauten Bieren, bei der wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und hat uns kompetent beraten. Auch das Essen hat überzeugt: frisch, lecker und passend zu den Bieren abgestimmt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Insgesamt ein tolles Lokal mit einzigartigem Flair, hervorragenden Getränken und einem rundum gelungenen Konzept. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann das Ratsherrn jedem empfehlen, der gutes Bier und eine entspannte Stimmung schätzt! 👍

Was eine Frechheit dieser Laden ist. Einfach nur schlechtes convenience food. In Relation dazu diese Preise, einfach nur erbost. Hatte das Cordon Bleu (industriell gefertigtes Schnitzel Toast) einen Klacks Kartoffelbrei und 8 Scheibchen von der Penny-Gurke (Gurkensalat). In summa hat der Rotz stolze 27,- EUR gekostet. So etwas habe ich echt noch nie erlebt. Ordnungsamt ist alarmiert.

Preis-Leistung fürs Essen passte hier leider gar nicht. Ich hatte den Spargel mit Kartoffeln und Hollandaise für knapp 22€. Die Portion war für den Preis sehr klein und die Enden des Spargels waren alle holzig. Ob die Sauce selbst gemacht war, bezweifle ich auch. Der Service war zumindest sehr nett.

Tolles Pub und super Schnitzel! Die Portionen sind groß und sooo lecker.

I can't understand the good reviews. We ate and drank at the Ratsherren restaurant for the first time this week. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it, as the price-performance ratio was completely off for us. The prices were very high; €6.90 for a 0.5-liter light beer was far too expensive. The food was average and simply overpriced. €21.90 for a schnitzel with fries and cucumber salad was absolutely unjustified. The schnitzels seemed like pre-made food and weren't anything special. On the positive side, the ambiance was really lovely, and the beer was tasty. In conclusion: we wouldn't be coming back.

The price-performance ratio is unfortunately completely off. The service was very friendly and attentive, but that's where the positives end. The food was average at best, but definitely not worth the high price. A real shame. The men's restroom was extremely cold and had an unhealthy amount of black mold. Several things stood out that one wouldn't expect in a restaurant at this price point.

We were at the restaurant on December 6th, 2025. Our meals – meatballs with mashed potatoes, red cabbage, and sauerkraut, and beef roulade with red cabbage and mashed potatoes – couldn't have been better, just like Mom's cooking. The beer selection was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We were here for a business lunch. The place is nicely decorated. Good beer selection. The service was friendly. The food, however, was a disappointment.

The restaurant used to be really good. I've decided not to eat there for six months now. That's a shame, because the neighborhood is very party-friendly. It used to be busy, and I went there often and enjoyed it. When I walk past it now, it's completely empty compared to other restaurants and pubs nearby. What a pity! Reason for the criticism: - Convenience - Food is delivered prepared and then warmed up or lightly fried. And that's how it tastes: - Reheated from the day before - Soggy and lacking in bite. The prices are too high for that. The only server who was friendly and competent introduced himself to me as the restaurant manager. He has a bad team, however. One particular waiter is consistently rude, unprofessional, and often unresponsive, even when the place is empty. When I approach him, I get answers that could have come from a local bouncer. How could anyone hire someone like that? Points for the beers, the atmosphere, and the friendly restaurant manager. It's a shame; there's so much potential in this place that the neighborhood could gather for a beer and a good meal. Then I'd be a regular there again.

I recently went to the Ratsherrn with friends and was really looking forward to a nice evening, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a disappointment. We encountered difficulties right from the start: Even though we had a reservation, they couldn't find us in the system at first. We finally got the last table – right by the door, which was unfortunately very unpleasant for me as someone who is rather sensitive to the cold. My dish, the spinach dumpling, arrived lukewarm to cold the first time. At least they brought me a new portion when I asked – that was very friendly. Unfortunately, the dumpling was hot, but extremely dry. I'm used to much better experiences in southern Germany. My friend had the beetroot carpaccio with walnuts and goat cheese – but there was hardly any goat cheese to be seen. Our friends' burgers and schnitzels seemed to be the best, as they were freshly cooked. The bill was really annoying: It was confusing and in some places incomprehensible. Unfortunately, I didn't have the receipt with me and couldn't check it on the spot, as the waiter was taking the money from the other side of the table. When I got home, the amount didn't seem right either. I had definitely overpaid. It's a shame, because the restaurant itself actually seems cozy. But the service, the quality of the food, and the bill just weren't right for me that evening. So, unfortunately, I'm only giving it two stars.

Okay, it was just an appetizer, but when it says it's with goat cheese and walnuts, I don't expect a quarter slice of Edeka goat cheese in small pieces and half a walnut crumbled. My friend had to return her food because it was lukewarm, and the dumpling was dry, and we paid separately, which meant we both paid too much. We only checked it later with the menu and the drinks list. They really should have asked for the receipt. The bread we ordered separately was dipped in melted butter and absolutely disgusting.

The food was good. We were in a large group of eight people. Unfortunately, a few things were taken incorrectly during the order. The server typed everything into an iPad. I don't know what went wrong. The beer itself is good. Unfortunately, it's very, very loud; you can hardly have a conversation. Additionally, some guests are watching Twitch game streamers via projector, which increases the noise level even further. I wouldn't go there again.

Visited Hamburg for an e-sport tournament and this location was kind enough to stream the game live. Food was great, service was great. Appreciate the effort from all the staff. Spent the entire day there and have no regrets! Would definitely visit again next time I'm in Hamburg

A very friendly restaurant with excellent, home-style food. Great service and friendly staff. Beer tasting included. The food was delicious, especially the appetizers and sauces, as well as the fried fish and meat.

Ideal for going with friends and family. The kitchen has been significantly improved. The staff is fantastic and attentive to your every need. The dishes are well-presented and the decor is appropriate. It has a large terrace. You have to go there.

Excellent food, a wide variety of beers, lovely ambience and exceptionally friendly service.

Let me put it this way: Both dishes would have been thrown out in the kitchen battle - and amateurs cook there.

Great local establishment with wonderful schnitzels, burgers and vegan options

We've been to the "local" a few times now. The dining room is cozy. A great beer selection, almost exclusively Ratsherren, of course. They also have unusual draft varieties like the Wheat IPA, which is very tasty. The menu is geared toward beer drinking, but also creative with a changing menu. The spinach dumplings and asparagus risotto were delicious, and the portions were large! The prices are fair.

After being shown to our seats, we weren't served for a long time to get our drinks. This was also the case at other tables, as we noticed. When we finally wanted to order, we were told that the kitchen was out of some items on the menu. Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated upon entering the restaurant! The staff seemed very overwhelmed.

Disappointing Service Despite Low Occupancy We were at the restaurant at lunchtime – completely empty inside, a small group outside (about 15 people), and three occupied tables for two, two of whom had already finished their meals. Upon arrival, we noticed that the neighboring table had also been waiting for service for some time. When a server finally appeared at the next table, they loudly commented things like, "You can do that if you have time and enough staff." – statements that were neither appropriate nor professional in the situation. Unfortunately, we were neither greeted nor acknowledged – even after ten minutes. During this time, two tables paid and left the terrace. The neighboring table was cleared, cards removed – we continued to wait in vain for any kind of greeting or at least a brief "We'll be right there." After a total of a good 15 minutes, we left disappointed. There were two servers on site – with such low occupancy, it should have been possible to at least acknowledge and greet new guests. It's a shame, as the restaurant otherwise made a nice impression.

Upon arrival in beautiful Hamburg, our group (7 people) encountered a waiter who was initially overwhelmed and then increasingly unfriendly. The food was excellent, praise to the kitchen, and the service was also excellent, except for one unmotivated person. Additional drinks were only offered after waving and asking. With comments like, "Think about what you want first and then take it one at a time," it just wasn't to my taste. I tipped out of politeness!

I had the "Oven Bread Pastrami." Homemade bread with seared ham, two fried eggs on top, some salad on top, and horseradish paste underneath. Very, very tasty. The portion size was sufficient for me, and the value for money was good. I highly recommend their home-brewed beer.

The Caesar salad is delicious and fresh. The dressing is well-seasoned. The bread with chanterelle mushrooms is also very tasty and visually appealing. Overall, a good restaurant where you can enjoy a relaxed meal at reasonable prices. We paid around €47 for two dishes and two soft drinks. The service is friendly and very attentive. Thank you, we'll be back. UPDATE We were really looking forward to the Caesar salad. The salad was nice and fresh and the dressing was delicious, albeit a bit too salty. Instead of the fried chicken fillets we used to have, they now serve breaded chicken. The bread with goat cheese was really great!

We received very friendly and attentive service. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food. The food tastes absolutely fantastic! Generous portions and very appetizingly presented. You can taste and see that everything is freshly prepared. Even the littlest guests have been thought of: Coloring books and crayons, a changing table in the women's restroom, and free diapers in various sizes are available. Great!!!!! Rustic and cozy atmosphere. It's worth a visit and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back :)

Cozy, good food, friendly service, just to feel good!

The ambiance inside is great. Unfortunately, the outside is very lackluster. The food is excellent. Truly tasty and fresh. The service, however, is the clear downside. Even my attempt to call in the evening (during peak season) to make a reservation was rudely dismissed – I was told to call again the next day. And then, he hung up. I managed to get a reservation after all, and we experienced the service on site with a small group. Unfortunately, it was very rude, rude, inattentive, and incredibly unfriendly. A real shame. I can't recommend it, and I won't be coming back.

We waited over an hour for food until we were told that there was no more schnitzel or potato products. After another hour and independent inquiries, the dish we chose was not available again. It's very unprofessional and that just doesn't work. We will definitely not be coming back. It's a shame because the beer is very tasty.

The food is homemade and super delicious. The portions are large, so you'll be full. The staff (especially Matze, employee of the month) is hospitable and easy-going. Always happy.

We were seated and then we were ignored by the service for half an hour. When I then asked one of the service staff in a nice and friendly manner, I was insulted: "We have more guests, someone will come."... Well, no one came! 10 minutes later, guests next to us ordered something and I actively asked again. Beer was tasty, service was terrible.

There is something for everyone. The portions are also variable. I would have loved to be a tester, especially since I know the 5 star kitchen and know what quality we are talking about here. Asparagus and fish & chips were delicious. The waiter seemed a bit inexperienced, but was also very nice. Clear recommendation.

Best beer food in the neighborhood

The service was perfect, the food was great - an outstanding burger - the Pilsner was tasty, the espresso was great. Again and again!

We were at Birdland in the evening and wanted to go out for a nice meal beforehand. We came across this restaurant by chance - and will definitely come back. The dinner was very tasty, the service was super nice and quick, and the atmosphere was very appealing. Parking around it is of course very difficult, but doable with a little patience.

Great food, friendly staff, nice restaurant. The prices in general, but especially the drinks prices, were unfortunately well above the pain threshold.

A group of 16 people stayed at the LOKAL. The menu has a good selection. From kale to currywurst. The portions were large enough. Good craftsmanship from the kitchen. And a great councilman! The service... I'm glad there are still people who do the job. With friends again.

Good German food. Portions more than sufficient, but not very cheap (especially drinks). You can also easily stop there with a larger group, there were six of us there.

A very nice restaurant, very tasty food but unfortunately I have experienced unfriendly and annoyed staff several times, even when there wasn't that much going on, which is a shame, doesn't feel good.

Our visit to the restaurant was great when we were there on October 27th. The service staff/waiters were great and friendly. Food and drink was great and tasty and the price-performance ratio was also great there. And the atmosphere was great too. Wishes were also fulfilled if you had them.

By a very pleasant "coincidence" I ended up in "Das Lokal" - and although it's not necessarily around the corner, it will become one of my regular addresses in the future. Because everything is just right here. Ambience, service and especially food and drinks. You immediately feel comfortable, no matter where you sit. The menu combines home cooking with a modern touch. There are striking dishes and also a large selection of meat-free versions. The service is outstanding and as a beer drinker you get your money's worth with eleven (!) taps and also short-term (exotic) varieties on offer. Tammo and his team are extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Truly a little gem. Keep it up! Surprisingly good espresso martini!

Beer great, service ok (if you actively request it), food unfortunately run of the mill system catering. The entire plate consists of convenience goods and the prices are almost exorbitant. There was a pungent, greasy smell in the back shop and the men's toilets. Too bad!

A very nice restaurant! We sat next to the fireplace and had a view of the fireplace corner, where you really feel like you're sitting at Muddi's - thumbs up! The service was great, very nice and attentive. For dinner I had meatballs like Muddi's, I have to say it wasn't quite like Muddi's... Muddi's (forgive me) didn't prepare it quite as nicely, it was world class! My husband also had fish & chips which was very tasty! Nice German cuisine. We can only recommend it!
