What an amazing meal we had here. So good we came twice. We had the Jager schnitzel, the beef, the fish and the homemade strudel for dessert. The entire experience was a delight. Super friendly team, dog friendly and food that was amazing. You should definitely make a reservation to enjoy the food here!

We went on our first night in Schliersee, had the Ratsch Schnitzel and vowed to go back before we left to have it again, we did and it was sublime. All you needed with a carafe of wine, staff and ambience were perfect, we highly recommend.

A beautiful beer garden with friendly service. The food was perfect. We ate here three times within five days because we found it to be the best restaurant for miles around. The price/performance ratio is simply amazing. We had salad with goat cheese, cheese spaetzle, schnitzel, spinach dumplings, and roast beef with onions, all excellent.

Great restaurant with very attentive, friendly staff. We sat outside and got the best table with a beautiful view without a reservation. The food was delicious and arrived within a perfect time. One of our holiday highlights. ☺️

From first being greeted and led to our reserved table, we were impressed with the friendly atmosphere, the efficient service and exemplary food served here. My husband and I were tempted by tasting our first wiener schnitzel in many years, so we ordered the dish that was the speciality of the house, and were not disappointed. It was a stunning meal, and we have booked to go again before we leave Schliersee in a few days. We loved the small intimate atmosphere of this restaurant.

We had the cheese spaetzle and the turkey curry. It was truly outstanding! Very friendly and attentive service. The ambiance was rustic and in keeping with the region.

The food was delicious, both the main courses and the dessert! The chocolate mousse was truly divine! The service was also very friendly and attentive. It's also nice that it's located a bit away from the usual tourist hustle and bustle of Schliersee.

The Ratsch'n schnitzel, in particular, was spot on – crispy, juicy, and with a super-delicious side dish. The ox cheeks were also tender and flavorful – both highly recommended! Truly fantastic. A bit away from the lake, but nice and quiet, with no annoying car noise. Great view of the meadows and mountains. Very friendly service, and the food is truly world-class. The best I've had on vacation.

We only had a quick drink because we were out on our bikes. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but it was definitely tasty and we were served very friendly.

Yet another one of those country inns tucked away in the hinterland, but worth the trip. Great service, a rustic Bavarian ambiance, and excellent quality food, from the freshly prepared side salad to the beef soup with pancake strips, the roast beef with onions, and the spinach dumplings with mountain cheese sauce. Simply delicious... I'd be happy to return anytime.

Update 05.2025: Visited three more times since the first time. Even on days with lots of people at the lake, it's quiet here and we were always pleasantly surprised by the quality. As if the boss isn't having a bad day! A secret gem!

We came here because we wanted to eat German and vegetarian at the same time. The Ratsch'n offers a very good vegetarian menu, something you don't often find in German restaurants. Cheese spaetzle, spinach dumplings, cheese dumplings, cream mushrooms, etc. are available to choose from. The food was delicious and we were also very impressed with the dessert (chocolate soufflé). In addition, a very cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

Very quaint restaurant with delicious food. The dumplings were simply delicious. So we can only recommend it!

The food was good, although not particularly outstanding (concerning the dishes mentioned below). The tagliatelle with chicken breast was not well seasoned and tasted quite boring. However, the wok vegetables tasted very fine and both dishes were beautifully presented. Worth it compared to the prices at other restaurants in the region. The service was very friendly and accommodating, although you had to wait a while for your food. The atmosphere outside is very nice, you sit very quietly and in the shade, away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Schliersee. Overall worth a visit.

Nice beer garden, delicious food and friendly service!

Rustically and traditionally furnished, the restaurant is somewhat hidden on a hill on the edge of the village of Schliersee. Here, in the dining room and on the nice terrace, you can enjoy Bavarian classics such as stuffed schnitzel with fried potatoes, onion roast in a dark, strong sauce or tasty beer from a nearby brewery, all of which can be described as 'delicacies'. Even guests who prefer vegetarian cuisine are not badly considered, because the 'Kaspressknödel' with lots of mountain cheese and salad alone are simply delicious. There is also a relaxed, very unobtrusive service and, in winter, a roaring fireplace that makes you think of cozy evenings with grandma. 🍻

The service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere invites you to linger. The side salad was lovingly prepared and you can't get enough of the Ratschen Schnitzel. Absolute recommendation.

Today on Mother's Day we got a nice table in the small, beautiful garden by prior arrangement. The Ratschen Schnitzel is always a must, it tastes too good. The other food was also extremely tasty. The plates are not overloaded, but there is a nice portion for the hungry guest. We will be happy to go to Ratschen again

We sat outside on the nice little terrace. The menu is clear, but there are still several vegetarian dishes. We had to wait three quarters of an hour for the main course. The food was good. But the prices are quite high. We didn't expect that.

Wir waren in diesem Urlaub das zweite mal beim Ratschn essen. Sehr familienfreundliches Lokal mit einer tollen kleinen Karte. Alles frisch zubereitet und es schmeckt sehr gut. Wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen in unserem nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder.

The restaurant is well located away from the main road. But luckily I found it, because it is very cozy here and there are fine dishes, which are also beautifully prepared and served by friendly and competent service.

We just stopped by for early dinner. We ate fish amd schnitzel. Both were so delicious. The lady who served ıs was kind and friendly. Atmosphere is also great. Strongly recommended
