Ranchero Mexikanisches & Argentinisches Restaurant in Berlin

Went to "Ranchero" on Sunday – a disaster. No one greeted me upon entry. Waited over 15 minutes just to take my order, with only one server and one bartender for the entire restaurant. The food was okay, but I have serious doubts about the quality of the meat and salads. Even the reduced prices don't make up for it. It's a shame – it used to be much better here. Now I can only advise looking for alternatives in the area.

Steak and fries. You can't go wrong with that. The food met my expectations. I've gotten into the habit of only giving particularly positive reviews when there's a real reason to do so. However, the special offers are recommended, and if you have the time at the right time, you should take advantage of them.

From appetizers to dessert, the food is delicious. Fajitas arrive sizzling in a cast iron pan. Cooked to perfection. Thumbs up. The service is also top-notch. Friendly, fast, and fun! The cocktails are also great, and during happy hour they're often €5.90. We'll definitely be back again. All in all, highly recommended!

The staff is very friendly. The food portions are generous, filling, and taste very good. The prices are excellent. Nothing more needs to be said. I'd happily recommend it.

This was our second time there. The waiter was constantly at our table because it took us a while to decide. So, it wasn't relaxed. Ordering food was quick, but the quality was okay. The fries were far too salty, the chicken wings were still dripping with oil from the fryer, and the overall impression of the food was substandard. Some plates were cleared away while people were still eating at the table. Our conclusion: We wouldn't go there again and won't be coming back.

The restaurant offered a pleasant atmosphere, with the meat cooked to perfection. However, the cocktails didn't quite live up to expectations. The Tequila Sunrise seemed to consist mainly of juice and ice, without the expected tequila content. The noise level was quite high in places. The pricing was considered reasonable.

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. The waiter spent most of his time outside smoking his e-cigarette, even though he was busy. It seemed disorganized and hectic to me. We felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately, our friendly waitress, who always made us feel comfortable and who had everything under control, even when the place was full, wasn't there. I find it unprofessional that the two waiters spoke in their own language and were loud. We will only visit the place with an appointment when the waitress is on site. Unfortunately, other guests at the tables asked for a nightcap or coffee, but we weren't offered anything.

I was "just" there for coffee with a friend. The service was exemplary; they constantly checked on me and asked questions.

We visited Ranchero with a large group for live music. Unfortunately, we weren't so happy because we were served by an incompetent waiter. We had to wait over an hour for our food and were only served after we requested it. He rarely came to our table to ask if we wanted anything else. Terrible service from him!!! However, we were then served by the super nice waitress, who did a fantastic job, had the place completely under control, and created a great atmosphere. Kudos to the waitress! The manager should consider changing staff and hiring someone like the waitress. I only gave the 5-star rating because of the waitress.

I celebrated my birthday there. The food was soooo delicious. All the dishes were amazing, as were the cocktails. We'll be back! Thanks, and also for the surprise!

We had a fantastic evening there on July 4th and were even lucky enough to have live music. Everything was simply fantastic. The food, service, atmosphere, and singer were all top-notch. If I could, I'd give them even more stars. We'll definitely be back.

The food and drinks are good. All dishes are well prepared, and the service is always friendly. In summer, the terrace is a great place to sit.

The first half was extremely juicy and had a strong meaty flavor, but from the second half onward, the steak unfortunately lost its flavor, and the end was almost raw. A very nice atmosphere with Mexican music. Fast and friendly service, which also caters to guests' every need. The meat (beef, lamb, and pork) is very tender. The grilled vegetables are crisp and delicious. Great service. Everything was perfect. I would definitely come back here. I highly recommend it.

Food has always been good so far.

We had reserved a table for six people inside for a spontaneous dinner at short notice and received a friendly welcome. The menu is quite extensive – something for (almost) every taste (with a focus on steaks and Mexican cuisine, of course). The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the current 30% discount. The very varied dishes we ordered were all fresh, attractively presented, and very well prepared (steaks, salmon, and vegetables cooked to perfection). The service was also impeccable and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the food was delicious. We will be back soon, especially since the restaurant is within easy walking distance (parking is unfortunately rather scarce on this corner).

I dined at Ranchero a week ago. Even though I've lived in Reinickendorf for so long, I noticed the restaurant but I never went in there, except last week on the recommendation of a friend. The portions were huge, the food was delicious and we were treated extremely well. This restaurant deserves more than just 5 stars. If I'm going to be in Reinickendorf more often in the future, the Ranchero will be one of my favorite places.

I had my birthday dinner there with my family yesterday. The food is super tasty and plentiful. But what I was most happy about was that the staff responded to my birthday in a really sweet way, with congratulations and even dessert with table fireworks 🥰. Bad service. Forgot starter. Didn't keep an eye on empty glasses and asked if anything else was wanted. The waitress doesn't keep an eye on the guests. The quick delivery of the food was positive, even though the restaurant was full.

No matter what kind of food you eat, it is 😋 delicious. I come here often because it is centrally located in Borsigwalde. You can also easily reach it by bus.

I've been here quite often now. The service is super friendly and greets you like a regular guest - even the first time. The menu is extensive. But I prefer the steaks. The fillet steak and also the sirloin steak were on point and tender without any tendons etc. So a recommendation to come back, as the beer was also good and at the end you and my companion could enjoy a good cocktail.

Very friendly, competent service. Mega delicious steaks, cooked just right, as ordered, not a second too long or too short. Steaks were perfect 🤩 Side dishes were ok. Fries nice and crispy, but croquettes were more. A bit too soft. The nachos didn't blow us away, but they were good, as were the sauces. We ate here with small children, there was a high chair, but no changing space. Price performance was appropriate. Recommend for adults without hesitation.

We were in a hotel near the restaurant for work and came across the restaurant by chance while searching on Google. On Saturday evening it was no problem getting a table for three people without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and served. The drinks arrived at the table promptly after ordering. We only had to wait about 20 minutes for the food. All 3 people ordered different steaks with different sides. As ordered, the steaks were cooked to a perfect medium rare, the meat was very tender and tasted excellent.

Cheap and tasty 😋 Large portions are served We were 5 adults. Main course, starter, 2 drinks and 1 cocktail. With tip was 120eu I think it's cheap. The waitress was also very nice and pretty. Only to recommend ☺️

We had reserved a table for New Year's Eve. On the same day at noon (at quite short notice) I received a cancellation without comment via email. No call, no explanation. It's hard to find an alternative on a day like this. Very disappointing!

Wide range of dishes. There were 8 of us and after a short wait we were able to enjoy our drinks and appetizers. The main courses followed promptly and offered the desired quality and temperature. Requests were met and everyone was full and happy after the meal.

The sirloin steak was medium rare and tender. The fries are not that tasty for me because they are such thick "sticks". The portion of fries should be the same on each plate, but it wasn't this time. Overall we were very satisfied and will come back. The service is very friendly.

The recommended appetizer platter consisted only of frozen products that you can get cheaper in any supermarket (mozzarella sticks...). In addition, the burrito was very soggy and everything was mush, including the meat. As a dip we got a ready-made sauce from Kaufland. This was simply placed on the table as you can buy it. Lack of quality for these prices.

Nice steakhouse with good quality meat. The grilled salmon was also on point. Very busy, the waitress had her hands full, but was still very attentive and quick. Starnberger Helles on tap, a rarity in Berlin, we will be back.
