Small, intimate Mexican restaurant Friendly and witty service Homemade taco chips!!!

The name sounds promising, but that isn’t fulfilled. Decent enough food, just not Mexican. Unoriginal pastiche fare. No Mexican beers either except Corona. It‘s this lack of ambition and inspiration that is really disappointing. Best for late night drinks, i guess.

Fase Lunar is a fantastic spot in Berlin for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you'll want to stay longer than planned. During our visit, we had tacos, and they were simply delicious, fresh, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. The service was also outstanding. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fase Lunar is a fantastic place to enjoy great food and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended! 🌮✨

I had a wonderful evening at Fase Lunar and can highly recommend the restaurant. The food was delicious and, above all, authentically Mexican. The chefs are real Mexicans, and you can taste it. The decor is lovely and invites you to linger and relax. I especially want to highlight the fantastic service. It gets six stars from me! Attentive, efficient, and so warm and welcoming. We had a lot of laughs together :). Muchas gracias por todo y hasta la próxima.

The food and atmosphere were very good. However, the price-performance ratio isn't ideal. I think €15 is a bit much for a vegetable fjita.

The food was delicious and piping hot, and the service was excellent! I'd gladly come again. They should turn up the heat more in winter; it was quite chilly in the room.

Fantastic food – very high-quality products, exceptionally tasty dishes, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, the service was exceptionally friendly and professional.

Not real Mexican food, very long wait. Food was JUST okay. Slow service. Looked in the kitchen and there was an Indian dude cooking. Not the Mexican food I know!! The chicken even is flavored with curry!

Booked Fase Lunar going on the reviews and it really didn’t disappoint. Online booking was efficient. The menu was full of Mexican cuisine standards which means there’s something for everyone. We enjoyed a little bit of everything and it was all wholesomely cooked with excellent flavors. Portion size were perfect. Highly recommended.

The food was okay, but the portions could have been larger; you get more for your money at other Mexican restaurants. The service was unfortunately a bit unfriendly; it was noticeable that the friendliness was very forced when it did appear. We waited 15 minutes to pay, and we mentioned it three times. During that time, tables were being cleared instead of being quickly cashed. It wasn't all that great. The tables were all extremely close together. We won't be back.

We were there with a school class. The staff was incredibly friendly, very accommodating, and easy-going. The food was excellent; all the students and teachers alike were thrilled. We'll definitely plan another visit on our next school trip.

The food was spectacular. The only complaint is that when we were ready to pay, we asked for the bill and waited about 15 minutes, then had to go back and ask for it. However, I understand that it could have been a one-time mistake; we were just in a bit of a hurry. Very delicious 🌮

Dreamily located on Savinyplatz, this charming restaurant could easily be overlooked. Once you sit inside, you won't want to leave. Friendly and prompt service accompanied us throughout the evening. We enjoyed delicious draft beer, long drinks, and tapas there. I can recommend it without hesitation!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. The nachos were burnt, the meat was tough as rubber, and the vegetables were mushy. The staff was polite and accommodating.

I was here yesterday with friends, and the food was delicious, as were the cocktails—they have funny names, by the way. The waitress was also super friendly and attentive; we'll definitely be back.

The food is comparable to a microwave meal and extremely overpriced for what it is. The waiting staff is a bit pushy when it comes to ordering sides and tipping. One gentleman seemed to gossip about us behind our back, though I cannot say what it was about exactly as we did not speak much German. You are better off going somewhere else.

Super delicious fajitas and nachos, we still have to try them 😆, the non-alcoholic cocktails were also amazing, highly recommended, we'll be back!

Very tasty food, very friendly and helpful staff (we had a physically disabled person with us) and a cozy, lively atmosphere.

The food was a true taste experience—authentic Mexican, wonderfully seasoned. The fajitas and guacamole, in particular, were simply divine.

We ate as a bigger party of around 8, forgot 2 of our meals. They did not offer to accommodate this at all and we were here for two hours. The food was basically flavorless and chicken was not good. The food is overpriced and the drinks are small and expensive. Our waiter was kind but not accommodating. To be fair we also only speak english. Nice inside but very dark upstairs. We would never come back

I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food, we had Birrito and Takko, is excellent and the price-performance ratio is excellent. But I would particularly like to mention the exceptionally courteous and friendly staff. A great team that serves its guests with a lot of sympathy and friendliness. I could imagine having discovered a new favorite restaurant. 😉

Very nice service but the food is oily and not authentic. For that, absolutely overpriced. It's simply difficult to find a halfway good Mexican restaurant in Berlin. What surprises me is that the shops are still full. Must be the cocktails.

We went here since we crave tacos. The service was really good but tacos were okay a bit oily and didn’t feel that authentic. Don’t get me wrong they still taste good but for that price I honestly expect more. Maybe I’ll like the other stuff better if I try again which I am still open to. It was still an okayish dinner.

Disgusting food. I had food here for the first time. It was nothing like Mexican food. It was a big disappointment. It looked like someone vomited on the plate. Waste of money.

The service is great. The orders, there were 8 of us there, came almost at the same time and, as always, were very tasty. The only thing, and therefore only 4 out of 5 stars, was that it was very cold in the restaurant (January 2, 2025). Otherwise highly recommended.

We had ordered the nachos for the apero, but we did not get them. During our apero we were immediately served the main dish. We ordered tacos mixed, quesqdiillas pollo and a salad. When the main dish was served we were still missing forks & knives, as we didn't want it to get cold we went to the counter to ask for it... we ordered extra guacamole for the dish but we never got it. The restaurant was not busy at all. It was a bit cold(chilled) due to an open window above the door. The food was really good. Taste was perfect.. only the service was not OK. It could have been corrected to offer a coffee on the house or a reduction on the bill for the failed service. But sadly this did not happen. Conclusion great food ... poor service.

We were there during the week. Luckily, parking wasn't a problem. We had reserved. The store was quite busy during the week. I liked the atmosphere in the store. The service was attentive and nice. The food was delicious. That's why I recommend the store

The food is a real culinary delight, very tasty drinks and friendly staff who will serve you at any time.

A disastrous experience. Service was slow, the food came hours late, and what was served was lukewarm and sad. To top that, the waiter poured tomato dip on me and my neighbor. Despite a large bill, I barely had an apology for the stains - actually I had to clean it and the seat by myself. Not sure if it's always like this, but at least on our turn everything went wrong. Would not recommend it, especially for larger parties.

Fase Lunar is a true gem! It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such excellent service. Kiki, our waitress, was an absolute star – incredibly attentive and considerate. She even waited to take our order as we were deep in conversation, which shows how thoughtful the service is here. The atmosphere is great, and the food? Delicious! Authentic Mexican flavors with just the right kick. And don’t even get me started on the cocktails – they’re fantastic! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our order, which we ordered around 7:30 p.m., took about 1.5 hours to arrive. After others, i.e. h. Orders taken much later along with food and drinks were served, only our drinks were brought after 1.5 hours (and second reminder). Our food order, however, was not served even after two hours (third reminder); so at 10 p.m. we paid for our drinks and left.

Very poor. Staff were rude and food was disappointing. They spilled drinks on people and didn’t clean up let alone offer replacements. Food was very slow and greasy when it arrived. “Dips” were ketchup and mayo without explanation. NOT a Mexican restaurant! We had prebooked and it was not too busy to excuse slow service.

We were a group and we all ended up feeling sick. The food has nothing to do with a real Mexican.

A really beautifully located and beautifully designed restaurant. Although we only looked for something nearby on the first day of our vacation because we didn't want to go far away, it became our daily dinner. No matter what we ordered, whether fajita, salad, chimichanga, burrito or burger, everything was beautifully presented and served quickly and tasty. The edible bowl (tastes similar to nachos) is a highlight, especially when it comes to salad. We would come here again at any time. The music is great and you sit really beautifully. But one of the highlights are the waiters. They have remembered us since day one, are funny and super friendly. A real rarity. Our three water drinks were also remembered. In terms of price, everything is great and totally within the framework. We'd love to come back as soon as we're in Berlin. A real must for people who like Mexican, but also for everyone who doesn't like it.

I had a burrito with ground beef and it was delicious. Since everyone else at the table was happy, we can recommend the food. The waiters were always there quickly and the waiting times were very manageable, especially on a Friday evening. So it all fits. Only the ambience is nothing special, which is why it only gets 4 stars.

Extremely nice staff, fulfilling every wish before it has even been expressed - very attentive and accommodating. We rearranged the table and chairs especially for us to get a better view of the television, got us blankets, etc. Really highly recommended!

The service here was so great. Totally considerate and forward-looking. They brought a new table especially for us and brought us blankets because they noticed that we were cold. Really great and sweet and also nice that they always came over to chat. The chimichangas were super tasty and great value for money! Happy to come back!

We stopped there in the evening to have a drink and then ordered a portion of nachos with cheese and dips. These were the best nachos we have ever eaten and the dips were also very, very tasty. The service was also very friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the tables. We sat outside and didn't go in, but the outside tables right on Savigniplatz were nice and it wasn't noisy.

We ate there twice and were very satisfied. I'm not allowed to eat everything due to intolerances and it was easy to put together the food that was right for me.
