In short: -Incredibly delicious food -Friendly staff -Reasonable prices. Really highly recommended! Apart from the very good food, things like warm water in the toilets are convincing. Thick ones served (I've never seen that in a fast food restaurant) And a wonderful ambience! Price performance is also right!

The bowl with pulled chicken is my absolute go-to when things have to go quickly.

When it was first opened this place was very good. They had nice food, and the portions were very filling. But now the portions became so small and the prices are so high, it doesn’t even make sense to eat there. On top of that, despite charging you 13 euros for a tiny quesadilla their bathroom is a mess. Disappointing.

Small, cozy shop with a small selection of dishes, but every meal is very good and highly recommended!

Food was amazing but a little pricey! For students it’s not too affordable but still really good quality. 2 margaritas for €15 was amazing!! Can definitely recommend the bowel Staff were super super friendly and kind which is always refreshing

Great food, price performance and service are unfortunately not good. However, it is relatively expensive and there is only self service and the staff is unfortunately not particularly friendly. You can only order in English, which is taken for granted that I felt bad even though I can speak English. Sometimes it's just the way it's communicated.

Club Del Burro! Alles Ganz Frisch! To drink I had the Michelada, a mix of Beer(helles), Lime, Tomato juice, Chilli & I believe soy sauce, a Mexican classic version of a Bloody Mary. As a bartender I’m definitely adding a version of this to my own menu! Burrito was so good that when I thought about others I’ve had from elsewhere, I feared divorce, or worse… Exile from my new relationship with CDB. The extra limes that came with the burrito forgotten quicker than my Ex, so i threw them into my Michelda instead for the extra SLAM!! Quick service, about 10 minutes to make the food & they also offer free salsa & dips. Perfectly sized menu in a neighbourhood that deserves taste, quality & love in the food that they eat. Thank you, see you soon 👍

Fantastic food but the service is horrible

We had very tasty quesadillas with juicy meat and perfectly mixed, homemade margaritas today. Plus the staff was super nice and they played some cool music at the same time.

Super delicious food, went here 6 times so far. The price is steep but it’s Berlin and you’ll get a lot. I’m always full when I’m heading here and I still get leftovers I take home. Love the intense flavors they create in their food! Never had real Latin American food but if it tastes like this I’m in heaven and will move to Mexico.

Best Mexican food hands down. For sure doesn't look like it from the outside but it tastes real and not like fake chemical taste. Prices are very fair and not outlandish like at other Mexicans. Can recommend quesadillas as well as burritos. Rest I haven't tried yet (unfortunately)

Great store! Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find decent taquerias in Germany, but here you almost feel like you're in Cali. Staff is super warm and friendly. And someone took our order away (not the staff's fault) and we were immediately given tons of extra food for free. I would love to come back often.

Really tasty. We passed by on a walk and went in hoping to get something vegetarian and something gluten free. And were successful! The bowl and taco were really tasty. Highly recommended, even for people with special dietary requirements

I love Club Del Burro. I have eaten there many time and though it's not a real taqueria, it's very tasty. However, 6 euros for a tacos - yes, one tacos - is absolutely crazy. Prices have gone up, yes, but this shop has gone from very okay to overpriced and that makes me very sad. I'm not going to pay 18 euros for 3 tacos...

Paying €7 for chips & guac and getting handed the shattered bottom crumbs of a mediocre bag of tortilla chips is wild. The serving size of the guacamole is designed to conserve the most amount of guac for someone else other than you. It's about enough dip for a quarter of the bowl. You paid to enjoy a dry bowl o' crumbs.

Staff is attentive, polite and fun! Food is amazing, delicious and tasty 😋😋😋😋atmosphere is entertaining with cool Latino songs playing.

¡Aaayy que rico se come! Very satisfied latina over here. Unpretentious and lovely flavours: tried the cali burrito with jackfruit carnitas and the quesadillas (which I dipped in the yummy guacamole). And they serve real lemonade. Overall very comforting for a Latina out of home.

I ordered a vegan burrito and wanted extra guacamole. They make me guacamole in a separate bowl and say that they'll forget to put it in the burrito anyway. For €2.90 per mini bowl, you can actually expect them to add it to the burrito if you wish. Burrito tasted ok, but nothing special. At some point I realized that unfortunately they had put cheese in my burrito, which is quite unpleasant for a vegan. The staff was quite uninterested and barely paid any attention to me when I complained about the food. No sorry, nothing at all. Unfortunately, I think the store is so hyped that they are now quite uninterested in treating customers well...

One of the best Mexican in Berlin. It's always full, which confirms the quality of the food, but also that the place is cramped. The decoration is creative and fun, with posters of famous films with donkeys in place of the characters. The menu is very straight to the point: two burrito options (with different ingredients), quesadillas, tacos or cumbuca in all of which you choose the protein: beef, chicken, chili sin carne or jackfruit meat. For starters, corn chips (which come with salsa) and the usual dips: guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Honestly, everything I tried was very tasty and well seasoned, so you can take a risk when ordering. For drinks, they have an honest margarita (come with someone or if you're thirsty: there's a promotion when you buy two), homemade lemonade that's a little sweet but delicious, and the usual beers and soft drinks.

Deserves 3.5 stars really but rounded up to 4 due to the friendly service. The food is ok but not great and not really authentic Mexican - some of it is, like the salsas, the mole and the cochinita pibil (pulled pork) but the tortilla chips are more like industrial doritos, the beans are too hard and the rice has too much tomato sauce in it and doesn't taste at all like Mexican rice. Still, for Berlin it's ok, there are better places for sure but not in this part of town unfortunately. Update: took down a star because I came there to pick up some food, it said until 2230 open but at 10pm the woman there said they're already closed :/

Love the food here but they’re outrageously slow. Get more staff. It’s a joke. Slow to take the order orders and slow to prepare them.

Delicious Mexican-derived food place, I like the vibe indoors but they have outdoor seating available as well. They have a pretty good serving size for bowls, although I would love it if they had a cheaper and smaller option as well.

Great little Mexican hole in the wall (no American pun intended). After living in the vacuum of spice and flavour of Berlin for 2,5 years - this has been a tastebud life saver. Simple menu construct but flavours with real depth. We had beef burritos and pulled chicken tacos paired with lemon/lime margaritas dusted with chili salt. Tasty, fresh, balanced tastes. More spice than the average German taste can handle but mild for most other taste buds. Fun decor, simple benches, upbeat music. We will return (regardless of the 45 minute commute across town).

We went last week, and tried the chicken and beef burrito. Both tasted really bland, especially since it's Mexican food. The beef was really tender though. The guacamole was the worst I have ever tried, super watery. We had to wait super long for the food as well and than it was partially cold. Adionally the burritos were incredibly overpriced. The atmosphere was nice and the service okay. Won't visit again tho.

I was there with a group of six people and I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and open-minded. A real place to feel good if you like it cool and sexy. The food was delicious and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was we had benches. I'd love to come back.

The Burrito Cali is delicious - in all variations. Unfortunately, portion sizes have become smaller and smaller in recent years while prices have risen at the same time. In fact, I didn't pay €12.90. Unfortunately, that's a reason for me to consider whether I'll even eat there again. The free sauces are nice, but since the mole no longer exists, nothing special anymore. All in all: a shame.

There is very little good Mexican food in Berlin. You won't find it here.

Unfortunately the level of the vegetarian burrito bowl went down a lot in the last two years, it became to be mediocre at best while the prices have much incresed. The jackfruit is nice but the rice and the salad are very plain. Very disappointing...

Since some time the mushroom option is not available. Their current alternative with jack fruit is bad. I asked if it was spicy hot, they said no. It was a lie.

Small Mexican restaurant, the dishes are very good and the staff welcoming

A must for Mexican cuisine lovers! I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is simply fantastic. The selection of Mexican dishes is large and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. The portions are generous and the service is friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It's definitely worth a visit!

The quesadilla with pulled beef was delicious and the meat was very tender. I also had guacamole and sour cream. The two portions of the quesadilla were too much for one person, but they would be ideal for sharing between two. There are also 3 sauces on site that you can have for free. The star deduction is because the food used to taste better and fresher and the sauces were better too. I also had to wait longer before I could order, until then I was made to feel like I was being ignored. You sit on simple benches and may have to share a table with others. I paid just under €20 for a quesadilla, 2 dips and a beer.

The food taste is very authentic. The quesadillas and burritos have a real Mexican taste. The beef and chicken are very tasty. The service from Luis and Santiago is the best. The place is small but cozy.

Cute little place with delicious food, unfortunately when we were there they ran out of guacamole which i was extremely disappointed at. But regardless their food was delicious, i really enjoyed their chips, with salsa And the pulled beef bowl, there was a very generous amount of meat and the flavours were great that I even enjoyed it without the guacamole 🥑 Regardless if you like authentic Mexican food, i think this is without a doubt the place to visit

It was such a great experience this time ! we were there few months before and it all seemed to be catastrophic and was disappointed we were not thinking about coming back and today we decided to give it a second chance and we were surprised we tried the quesadillas with Barbacoa and it was so nice and soft and simply delicious, the two guys that were serving us were really helpful and they explained how they cook the meet for more the 8 hour to get that texture . WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE .

Not only were both the quesadillas and the burrito delicious, but massive shoutout to the staff going above and beyond <3 My friend had her order mixed up a little but didn't want to make a big deal about it, but the staff insisted they made her a new one and was honestly incredibly nice about it. Das Essen war okay aber hat mich geschmacklich null umgehauen. Kommt einem Kantine Essen gleich. Fand ich dann für Preis / Leistung nicht sehr befriedigend. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett allerdings alles Selbstbedienung, was mich zu der Bewertung bringt. Tische waren zudem super dreckig und mussten wir auch selbst abwischen und abräumen. Da gibt es andere lecker Restaurants um die Ecke oder nebenan die 100-mal besser sind.

Comí un quesadilla de carnitas veggie ya que fue lo que me recomendó la chica que atendía, estaba rica es como carnitas que me parecía alcachofa y tiene mucho queso. Esta rica y por 12 euros en igual y es abundante pero preferiría otro tipo de comida por ese precio, tienen salsas una verde, otra roja y una de habanero con mango y tmb chipotle. Me dijeron que el burrito tmb es bueno y vaya, para mí mexicana rico solo siento los preciso elevados para lo que te dan. Igual me comentaron que es de los mejores de comida mexicana en berlin

Very nice place for a quick but tasty meal. Margaritas are eccellent. They also have a bunch of tables inside and outside. If you are hungry after sport activities at Tempelhofer Feld, that's a good option where to go.

I came back after some months and the prices are higher, simply too high for what is served. The most disappointing: I ordered the burrito that costs 8,90 euros and it was the size of a little snack. It should be called micro burrito, or not burrito at all. They realised I was disappointed and gave me some chips with sour cream, which I appreciated and thanked them for it. Still, I'm not sure I'll come back. I know there's inflation, but it is supply-side inflation, most wages are stagnated, and I don't think we consumers should accept prices like this. PS. Now I read other reviews and many people are complaining about the same thing. Sad to know this place is no longer an option in this area.

I've been coming here many years...yes their prices have changed and the ingredients sometimes as well but its still, hands down, the best burrito in the city. I just came home from there and after a long wait I came to find out they forgot my order. To remedy the situation they gave me a free drink, free chips and an extra epic burrito as an apology and said that they hope I come back despite their error....yes, yes I will be coming back, because of your amazing food but more importantly because of your outstandingly friendly and accommodating customer service. Meet these folks with understanding and compassion when they are overloaded with work and they will return the favour in any way they can and likely exceed your expectations. Very different take on mexican food. Their tacos have a crazy amount of topping, so much it is overflowing. Maybe there is a certain American vibe to all of it. I had quesadillas with pulled chicken. It was a lot to eat, salty and cheesy, but still tasty.

Good portions, they have gluten-free tacos and the food generally is delicious. Tasty drinks as well, home lemonade is amazing. Friendly staff. Not so clean though and very loud when all the tables are taken.

Truly gutted to have wasted 34 euros on what was possibly one of the worst meals I've had. Sad soggy tortilla chips, both the chicken and beef were dry as a bone and completely flavourless. The tomato rice was disgusting, inedible, nightmarish flavour. The bowl was overflowing with four different kinds of glop, no room to stir anything. I cannot express how much we hated this meal, we left absolutely fuming. Don't waste your money.

Used to love Club del Burro so much but I think it’s changed management or something in the last year or so. The food is really good but not as good as it used to be. Felt a bit overloaded and it didn’t have the great Tex-Mex flavors it used to have - but still great for Berlin standards. The prices have also gone up and for a self-service restaurant, it’s excessive. The tacos were 4.5-5, the burritos and quesadillas without extras were 12-13, and then holy heck the low quality tequila margarita was a whopping 9 euro and it wasn’t even big enough to justify that price. I do still recommend the food but it’s definitely changed and might not be *as* worth the hype as it used to be.

Die Burritos bestehen hauptsächlich aus Fleisch neben ein paar Salatblättern und ein bisschen Rotkraut. Geschmacklich ok aber auch nichts Besonderes. Im Prinzip wie ein Döner zum doppelten Preis. 12,90€ ist schon echt übertrieben.

I mean it has a great vibe and everything is pegged for a hole-in-one, but somehow we end up in the bunker. Who doesn’t love a fresh made taco or burrito, bursting with flavour and juices dripping everywhere? That was what I was expecting but somehow the food is more on the gooey and messy side. I am lacking some freshness, now it just turned really heavy. Not bad, just not what I was hoping for.
