Great service, friendly staff, and excellent food. What more could you want?

Four of us went to this restaurant. The service was very friendly, and I'm sorry to have to write a somewhat negative review. My steak was ordered incorrectly, and instead of medium rare, it came out well done. I reported this to the waiter, and the steak was exchanged without any problems. It can happen, but it shouldn't happen if the steaks aren't the size stated on the menu. They were all too small. The portions were very manageable. The steak sauce served with the steak was cheap Hela curry ketchup with added spices, which were also found on the meat. The baguette served beforehand went to the kitchen and never came back. So we all went home hungry, and we're certainly not gluttons. The beer I had ordered in the meantime was forgotten, but when it finally arrived, it was served to make up for it. All in all, a very mediocre evening. In my opinion, too expensive for what was offered. I'm sorry, it's not usually my style to give bad reviews, but somehow it still sticks in my mind, as it was supposed to be a lovely evening with special people.

A beautiful, rustic restaurant. Our number one steak restaurant for so many years now. Great steaks and delicious side dishes, as well as very friendly service.

I recommend it. It's worth eating there at least once to judge for yourself. The service was very friendly.

Store empty and allegedly no more space

We're absolutely thrilled and are happy to give it 5 stars. The food was fantastic, the steak was excellent and grilled to perfection; juicy, hearty, and delicious. The fried potatoes were just as they should be (we haven't had fried potatoes like that outside in a long time). The service was very friendly and attentive. A rustic, cozy atmosphere. The prices and service were perfectly in line with the service, including the drinks. We would happily recommend you.

It was a lovely evening with excellent food.

The wait of almost an hour for just six drinks alone sums up the experience very well... Incredibly inattentive service, far too long wait times, and food that absolutely doesn't live up to the expectations created by the high prices. You rarely get your steak cooked to your desired degree, and the fried potatoes come with virtually no seasoning. Overall, a truly appalling experience, most likely the first and last visit.

Absolutely delicious food and even the dog was greeted friendly

Anyone who thinks the food there is very good has apparently never been to a real steakhouse. The service is so slow and inattentive...terrible. We waited 45 minutes (!) for 4 drinks and were ignored the whole evening. My steak was supposed to be medium rare and arrived completely cooked through. I skipped the baguette bread because it wasn't tasty and wasn't baked through on a previous visit. I was still charged for the sour cream, any other restaurant wouldn't have done it because I canceled the bread. The sour cream has a strong fat content/taste and is probably diluted with something. The only tasty thing is the fried mushrooms with onions. We won't be coming back again.

Food absolutely ok, nothing to complain about. Service not the fastest, but attentive. However, the store is very old inside and out.

I know that tastes differ, but it was my first time there and definitely the last time. The service is completely overwhelmed with a full restaurant. The food, I don't know how to describe it. So I had the Ranger plate. The meat was supposed to be medium rare but was past it. But the best thing is that according to the menu the plate was described as having baked mushrooms, but I think 4 PIECES on a wooden skewer was a joke. The fried potatoes were seasoned zero. Although I had salt and pepper on the table, I don't think it's my job to salt and pepper all of my fried potatoes myself. The price of the food received is absolutely not justified. But to each the way he likes it. I definitely never again....!

Das Steakhaus ist schön gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen zügig. Mein Mann hatte ein Steak, Bratkartoffeln, Bohnen und einen kleinen Salatteller. Er war begeistert. Ich habe schon oft Roastbeef gegessen, aber so lecker wie hier habe ich es noch nie bekommen. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden das Steakhaus weiterempfehlen!

We were there again after two messed up evenings with a long gap between us, the service was great, but unfortunately the food wasn't. Fillet steak looked a little shredded In the last third it's crunchy and has a lot of cream in it (it's not supposed to be with fillet for the price). Fries were more like potato wedges Mushrooms/onions and toasted bread were good. It's a shame that the salad buffet is no longer available. That was the third and last chance, what a shame

The Rancher House has a fantastic steak offering. The price is rather high, but the steak is definitely worth it. The steaks and side dishes are extremely tasty and leave me more than satisfied every time. The service is more on a first-name basis and close to the guest, which I really like. Unfortunately the ambience is a bit... wild. It doesn't quite fit. There are a lot of decorations hanging on the wall that are not harmonious.

We were able to reserve a table at short notice. Delicious food, highly recommended!

The first entrecote.....was really fried even though I ordered medium rare. The side dish was cold (bread). My companion had the same luck, the farmer's beef... was extremely dry and, luckily for him, there was a hair in the herb butter... I'm sorry for the service, she was really nice... and the chef did Didn't even show up to apologize...the waitress had to take over. It's a real shame. We definitely won't be coming back.

You're the first to arrive, the last to receive and the steaks weren't that great either. Lots of tendons, ordered medium and received raw and cold inside. I won't go there again But I like the atmosphere and the fries taste good

The steaks are always very tasty and cooked to perfection. The side dishes are also impressive in terms of taste and quantity. It's a shame, however, that the self-service salad bar didn't come back after the Corona period; In addition to the steaks, that was the second highlight in the restaurant 😉 The service is always very friendly and always there if you have a request. As always, the meat is medium rare, there are plenty of parking spaces available, the atmosphere is great and the taste is unforgettable. Every bite is worth the money and I continue to come back again and again.

Very tasty, good food, friendly staff, ordering outside of the house is possible, but you have to pick it up yourself. It's a bit more expensive, but the quality of meat is good. 👍 And even now, after probably the worst Corona period, everyone is still very friendly and accommodating.

The only steakhouse in Itzehoe. But it's been there for years and always good quality. Not cheap but reasonable and therefore always well attended. 👍🏻

Der Services war wirklich gut. Das Essen kam lauwarm an. Leider. Noch einmal muß ich es nicht haben. Für den Preis der Speisen erwarte ich mehr Qualität.

Essen war sehr lecker. 👍 Für unseren kl. Sohn gab es sogar eine Pommes aufs Haus.

Das weltbeste Steakhouse! Für meine Familie und mich ist sind Restaurantbesuche, im Rancher House, seit über 20 Jahren, ein Highlight. Die Qualität der Speisen, das nette Personal und das Ambiente, versprechen ohne Ausnahme, immer einen besonderes Ereignis, bei dem das Kulinarische im Vordergrund steht.

Es war wie immer ein klasse Service und sehr lecker!

The food tastes really good. it is served really fresh from the grill and perfectly cooked as you prefered. The staff of the restaurant is also very accommodating and polite. Even the kids loves the food. definitely we will be back.

Auf der Agenda steht Fleisch in feinster Form. Röstaromen,Saftigkeit,Zartheit und perfekte Garpunkte sind der Anspruch dieses Restaurants. Preis absolut angemessen und der Service ist top. Ein Muss ist für uns die Gulaschsuppe als Vorspeise. Zartestes Fleisch in dieser absolut schmackhaften Suppe bedarf nicht der Suche. Zahlreiche Beilagen zur Hauptspeise stehen zur Auswahl. Wir benötigen ca. 40 min Anfahrtzeit, aber die lohnen sich . Definitiv empfehlenswert. Immer wieder gerne.

Tolles Restaurant und preislich absolut in Ordnung! Unsere Steaks waren hervorragend und es herrscht eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Am besten aber vorher einen Tisch reservieren. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vor dem Restaurant vorhanden.

Essen echt lecker aber ich finde bei nem Preis von 25 Euro erwarte ich mehr und keine kinderportion also war für uns leider das erste und letzte Mal

Das Restaurant ist nicht das schönste und auch nicht das modernste. Dafür ist das Essen und der Service sehr gut. Die Preise sind angemessen. Ich würde eine Reservierung empfehlen, kurz vor 18 Uhr war das Restaurant sehr gut besucht.

Das Essen war wirklich gut. Die Steaks waren auf den Punkt, die Beilagen waren OK. Der Service war völlig in Ordnung und unauffällig. Das Ambiente im Gastraum an der Theke, erinnert mich an Gelsenkirchner Barock. Zudem empfand ich es als sehr dunkel.Nicht schön aber sauber. Wer ein gutes Steak essen will, ist hier richtig. Wer schick ausgehen will, hier eher nicht. Ist aber so völlig in Ordnung.

Seit über 30Jahren besuche ich mit Freunden und Familie dieses erstklassige Steakhaus. Als Hamburgerin stellen meine Begleiter und ich immer wieder fest : dieses Itzehoer Steakhaus serviert die besten denkbaren Steaks, aber auch andere leckere Gerichte. Hervorragende Steaks - exakt zubereitet!

Die Steaks waren von sehr guter Qualität und alles andere auch sehr lecker.

Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Wir waren als erstes da und haben unsere Bestellung aufgegeben und alles als letztes bekommen. Sehenden im steakt, Medium bestellt und innen roh und kalt bekommen. Also nie wieder gerade zu den Preisen

Seid meiner Kindheit (Jahrgang 94) sind wir wiederkehrende Gäste Rancher House und jedesmal ist die Qualität gleichbleibend sehr gut! Mein Tipp ist das Entrecoté Medium rare, auch über 400 Gramm erhältlich. Die Bedingung ist immer freundlich und herzlich, das Essen immer lecker. Die Inneneinrichtung muss man einfach lieben - es gibt einen modernen neugestalteten Raum und den originalen Gastraum, welcher für mich einen unvergleichlichen alten Charme hat. (Auch weil ich mit dem Restaurant groß geworden bin und viele tolle Erinnerung mit dem Restaurant verbinde) Für Steak-Fans kann ich eine absolute Empfehlung aussprechen.

Für ein 180 gr Rinder-Rückensteak mit drei frittierten Champignons ( so ekelig ) und ein Schüsselchen Bratkartoffeln 24,50 €, das ist schon Wucher besonders für die schlechte Qualität. Da lobe ich mir doch das Blockhouse.

Zunächst einmal ist zusagen, das in dieser Taverne, sowohl Familien, Freunde aber auch Geschäftspaare und alleinkommer Herzlichst Willkommen aufgenommen werden. Die Kegelbahn ist in einem guten Zustand und wir haben viel spaß gehabt, wir werden definitiv öfter Kegeln kommen. Das Essen ist atemberaubend, zartes Gewürztes Fleisch, mit großzügigen Portionen, wer nicht aufessen kann nimmt den rest einfach mit nach Hause ! Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren mal wieder im Rancher House😃. Ein typisch deutsches Steakhouse. Einen Tisch hatten wir vorbestellt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Die Speisekarte ist gut übersichtlich, nicht zuviel und doch für jeden etwas dabei. Rind- Schwein- Pute, verschiedene Kartoffeln,frischer Salat vom Buffet. Getränke gut gekühlt und das Bier mit einer schönen Blume. Ein gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Das Personal ist umsichtig und immer freundlich. Familien sind hier willkommen😃👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Das Interieur ist sicherlich nicht mehr modern, eher doch rustikal😉... 70ziger/ 80ziger Stil, aber sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, haben gut gegessen und einen schönen Abend dort verbracht.

Steakhouse aus den 80er, ein echtes Retro Erlebnis. Gulaschsuppe 1A unbedingt nehmen einmalig gut, der Rest der Bestellung auch sehr gut. Die Abfahrt von der Autobahn zum tanken und Abendessen ein voller Treffer, nur zu empfehlen.

Wenn wir was besonderes wollen gehen wir ins Rancher House zum Essen. Der Service Top,das Salatbuffett einmalig und lecker,die Steaks köstlich auf dem Punkt gegrillt und die Portionen sind sehr gut,die Athmosphäre ist gemütlich.Ich Liebe das Ranger House

Sono una turista italiana che cercava cibo tedesco;mio fratello mi ha consigliato questo posto,è davvero buono per la carne soprattutto, i costi sono alti tante' che un piatto completo ha un costo di circa 22€. Le birre hanno un costo di circa 2 e 3€ sono abbastanza buone. Lo consiglio per chi non bada ai prezzi e vuole mangiare cibo tipico.

Äußerst freundliche Bedienung und für alle Sonderwünsche wurde eine Möglichkeit gefunden. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder. 7 steaks kamen in direkter Abfolge wie geordert Medium am Tisch an, keine große Wartezeit. Salatbuffet mit guter Auswahl.

went here twice during my business trip for steak dinners. they have some selected steaks that come with salads and sides preselected. for the steak connoisseur, you can also select the cut and weight as well as how you like your steak cooked. for this option, you will have to order salads and sides a la carte as it is not included in the meal. they did a great job both times for my steak and this place is definitely worth a visit if you in itzehoe. it is not terribly crowded on weekdays, however, on weekends, be sure to visit early (before 600pm on weekends) if walking in, otherwise they are usually booked solid starting at 730pm on weekends.
