Quick update: Consistently high quality for years! The taste is fantastic and the service is top-notch. The only kebab shop where I consider the slightly higher prices absolutely justified. I can't think of anything the owner could improve. Previous review: You get a superb kebab there. The bread and meat are particularly noteworthy. Very friendly owner and plenty of comfortable seating in the pedestrian zone. If you're ever in the Itzehoe pedestrian zone, you should definitely stop by. I'd gladly go back anytime, highly recommended!

This kebab is the best in Itzehoe and Schleswig-Holstein in terms of price and quality. I buy it there regularly, and it's always a delight. The staff is really helpful; every dish comes with a free chai. The sauces—my dear singing club, I'll be honest, I could bathe in there—are simply wonderful.

Small shop, kebabs are actually boring as they always have the same sauces and salads. You could bring in some variety and not always have the same thing month after month. How about parsley, mango curry sauces, herb sauces, etc. etc. Prices are of course high for a normal kebab, €8 is pretty steep and not everyone can afford it.

I'm always very satisfied when I come here. The kebabs, fries, and pizza are always top-notch.

After my husband had already left a negative review, the owner reprimanded him directly and inappropriately – as if expressing criticism was an absolute taboo. This heated scene was not only disrespectful, but completely took away my appetite. I watched as my husband had to defend himself in a heated discussion, even though every customer has the right to share their honest experiences. Instead of allowing room for constructive feedback, the response was stubborn and patronizing. This kind of behavior leaves a bitter aftertaste that extends far beyond the food. Because of this degrading encounter, I will avoid this kebab shop in the future. I sincerely hope that management will eventually learn to see criticism as an opportunity for improvement, instead of taking it personally and thus denying customers a respectful interaction. Regarding your statement: You claim we violated your policy by attempting to enter your snack bar's dining area with our dog. This constitutes defamation! We were simply standing far outside the outdoor area because we were considering sitting outside. Before we had even reached a decision, you called my husband over to discuss his objective review and loudly demanded that he remove his review in front of other guests. You repeatedly emphasized that it was your snack bar and that he wasn't allowed to write such a review. All I can say to this is: Freedom of speech prevails in Germany. Every citizen of this country is entitled to publicly express their subjective opinion regarding a service provided. This must be accepted. As a restaurateur, you can't please everyone, and if that's your goal, it's simply unattainable! We accept the rules set by service providers, regardless of their industry. Just please make them transparent and understandable. Sometimes we were allowed in with our dog and other days we weren't. That's incomprehensible. We accepted it nonetheless and will NEVER comply with your rules. It's not a regulation from the health department that dictates whether dogs are allowed in restaurants, but rather the shop owner. It goes without saying that animals have no place in food preparation, in this case, the kitchen. But banning them from the dining room based on fictitious rules is simply ridiculous. Please stick to the truth. We are not prepared to remove our honest review, and in the event of a legal threat like the one you made, I can only reply that we have very good legal insurance and are prepared to defend our subjective opinion.

After my last visit to this kebab shop, unfortunately there is nothing positive to report. After I had already given a negative rating based on honest criticism, I was personally asked about it by the owner. He emphatically claimed that I was not allowed to write such a review - as if criticism were a taboo subject. Instead of relying on constructive criticism, I felt patronized and my freedom of expression attacked. That's why I defended myself, because every customer has the right to openly describe their experiences and impressions. Such behavior suggests that a respectful handling of feedback is in second place. All in all, it wasn't just the quality of the food that was disappointing - rather, the focus was on the poor handling of criticism. I hope that in the future management will realize that honest feedback is the basis for improvement and freedom of expression should not be restricted.

Best kebab in Itzehoe! It still tastes just like it did 20 years ago when I was there as a little boy!! The kebab is a good size! It's not too overloaded like some other shops and too slathered with sauce, you can taste the meat. I can also recommend lunch, always freshly cooked. Really great! Keep it up!!!

Freundlicher Service wird hier geboten beim Verkauf von Döner und Co. Das Fleisch und die Salate sind immer frisch. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der tägliche Mittagstisch, der gern und viel genutzt wird. Einige Tische stehen vor dem Geschäft in der Fußgängerzone. Jetzt könnt ihr auch am Sonntag hier euren Döner genießen!

Also ich war jzt bei beiden Döner Läden (Sultan und Berlin Döner).Bei Berlin Döner sind die Preise höher und auch die Hygiene war nicht besonders gut.Meiner Meinung nach sollte man auch nicht eine halbe Karotte ,klein gerieben, in eine Dönerbox tun.Bei Sultan Kebap sind die Mitarbeiter aber auf deine Wünsche eingefangen und auch die Auswahl sowie das Hygiene Verhältniss war besser. Immer wieder 🤌🏻💪🏻

Wer keine Lust mehr auf die gleichschmeckenden Döner in IZ hat sollte unbedingt hier hin. Super Brot, tolle Soßen und saftiges Fleisch! Neuer Lieblingsdöner👍

Wenn Döner, dann im Moment am liebsten hier. Super nett, sehr lecker und gut gewürzt, und es gibt regelmäßig tolles Mittagsangebot. Leider kann man nirgendwo nachsehen sondern erfährt nur vor Ort, welchen Mittagstisch es gibt. Aber trotzdem geschmacklich alles ganz mein Geschmack und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Der beste Dönerladen bei dem ich je war!! Bedienung immer höflich, man wird sofort mit einem Lächeln empfangen, große Auswahl an verschiedenen Leckerein und jeden Tag ein frischen Mittagstisch. Fleisch schmeckt saftig und einfach nur gut. Preise sind top! Immer wieder gerne und nur weiter zu empfehlen.

Hier wurde der Döner-Teller in der großen Variante zum Mitnehmen gewählt. Alles nach Wunsch zubereitet und von der Menge her ein vernünftiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Fleisch frisch vom Spieß und nicht aus der Warmhaltebox 👍 Die scharfe Chili-Soße ist empfehlenswert. Einige Sitzgelegenheiten draußen wie drinnen u. einen Mittagstisch gibt’s auch. Bin nicht überwältigt aber zufrieden.

Richtig lecker! Auch der täglich wechselnde Mittagstisch ist frisch und lecker. Auch für Vegetarier sehr zu empfehlen, die Salate, vegetarischen Dürüm und Falafel sind sehr lecker!

Sehr leckere Mittagsmenü (gefüllte Auberginen) sagt meine Frau. Ich war mit der Pizza ebenfalls vollauf zufrieden, preiswert und sehr freundlich bedient. Lohnt sich vorbeizukommen, wenn man in Itzehoe unterwegs ist.

Teller und Besteck haben genau wieder Laden von aussen schon bessere Zeit gesehen. Das Essen könnte liebevoller angerichtet werden. Sonst aber ganz Passabel

Einmal und nie wieder. Schlechtester Döner ever. Direkt am Eingang wirbt man mit Halalfleisch. Wenn das das Ergebnis ist, dann schlachtet die Kälber lieber auf humane und moderne Art und Weise.

Wir waren zwischen Indoorgolfen und Kino hier essen und waren begeistert. Das Essen war schmackhaft und der Salat frisch zubereitet. Zwei leckere Sossen rundeten unsere Dönerteller ab. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir sind spontan bei einem Bummel durch die Fußgängerzone für ein schnelles Mittagessen zu zweit hier gewesen und waren sehr angenehm überrascht! Es war relativ viel los, aber da das Wetter ganz gut war, konnten wir draußen sitzen. Zur Auswahl gibt es die übliche Döner-Imbiss-Auswahl, wir bestellten drinnen am Tresen zwei Mal den Dönerteller, der uns sogar draußen nach ein paar Minuten freundlich serviert wurde, gar nicht Imbiss-mäßig. Die Portion war groß und lecker, ich habe meine nicht geschafft, und die Qualität war super! Der bunte Salat war frisch, die Pommes knackig und das Fleisch nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig gewürzt und nicht gnurpselig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super! Gerne wieder!
