I quite enjoyed the saltimbocca. The sauce was quite oily, but the dish tasted very good. The price/performance ratio was decent, and the waiter was very friendly. The ambiance, in a kind of pavilion in front of the building, was relatively dark inside, but the protection from cold drafts was effective.

Best restaurant in Hannover. Small but the best quality. Real Italian cuisine, managed and serviced by Italians. A lot of fun.

A friend had a birthday party, and there were six of us. The advice on the starter was brilliant. The service made sure we didn't order too much. The main course was customized to our every wish! It was absolutely delicious! And the service was incredibly attentive! I've rarely eaten so well!

This warmth and authenticity permeates the entire evening. I had the Tris di Antipasti antipasti plate – varied, finely balanced, and full of flavor. For the main course, pasta with prawns in a fresh lemon sauce – summery, light, and perfectly seasoned. My husband chose tomato with mozzarella as a starter – classic, fresh, and perfectly cooked – and followed it with a sole that was truly exceptional: tender, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had a lemon cake (absolutely delicious!) and a pistachio tiramisu that we won't soon forget. Both were a poem. What makes Raffaele's special, though, isn't just the food – it's the feeling of comfort, authenticity, and personal touch. You don't just eat; you're cared for, seen, and welcomed. For one evening, you feel like you're part of this world of Italian indulgence – right in the heart of Hanover. We'll definitely be back. And we envy everyone who gets to experience this regularly.

Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost completely booked, they still found us a cozy table - special thanks for that! The food was a pleasant surprise: the dish was not just tasty, but truly amazing. I dare say that the pasta here was even better than the one I tried in Milan earlier this month. "Raffaele" definitely won my heart - and my stomach too!

I have known Raffaele for around 20 years and for me he is one of the most honest, authentic and loving restaurateurs in all of Hanover! I really enjoy visiting him because the restaurant meets all of the criteria that are important to me: high quality, coupled with a taste experience. All of this is rounded off with a wine selection that clearly matches the menu! :) But to simply get to the point: Raffaele is simply the restaurant - his charisma and his way of creating an experience for his guests is unique! A lunch at Raffaeles is much more than a simple meal – it is a culinary experience that will be remembered. I was able to discover this little Italian gem with my family in December and it was just perfect. Unfortunately, I have only now found the time to write this review - but that only speaks for how lastingly I will remember this visit. The starters were already outstanding: the bruschettoni - with an optimal dough and a perfect combination - as well as the extraordinary octopus carpaccio with truffles, sliced ​​wafer-thin and tasted like a dream. We continued with various pasta dishes, all of which impressed with their freshness and aromas. Whether with octopus, pesto and shrimp or the version with parmesan and truffles - every combination was a pleasure. The veal liver was also excellent, wonderfully tender and aromatic. Finally there was tiramisu and mousse au chocolat. Although I'm not usually a big fan of mousse, this version was extremely delicious - creamy, airy and intense in taste. The final espresso was on point, strong and aromatic. But it wasn't just the food that was in a class of its own - the service was just as impressive. Raffaele himself is the epitome of Italian hospitality: charming, humorous and full of passion for his craft. We didn't know what to use at first, but his recommendations were a hit. With his relaxed manner, he creates an atmosphere in which you immediately feel comfortable. No matter when - when I'm back in Hanover, my path will definitely lead me back to Raffaeles! Bravo!! 👏🏼

One of the best pasta I’ve ever had! The pizza, wine, tiramisu, and coffee were all excellent. The service was very friendly! I also noticed that there is an option to swap the pizza for a gluten-free version, so even those with dietary restrictions will find something for themselves here. We will definitely be back!

This is Italy for me. Small, cozy, the food is a dream, the tiramisu is really tiramisu. Quality comes first here, you can see it and taste it and I'm happy to pay more for it.

3 STARS because the food came quickly Raffaele’s is a very small restaurant with a few seats. The tables are very narrow and you feel like you're sitting on your neighbor's lap. We ordered a pizza with salami and mozzarella, plus jalapeños. Plus spaghetti carbonara. Both were served very quickly, the pizza was very small and had no tomato sauce and hardly any jalapeños. The spaghetti portion was very small. We drank two cola, which were served in a wine glass, but apparently they weren't 0.33 ml, but less. To sum up, you can say that the food was okay, but it wasn't a feel-good experience. The service just served the food and then collected it. In the end we only stayed there for a very short time.

Our favorite Italian! The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is great and the owner is a real person. Recommendation!

Unusual atmosphere. Unfortunately quite cramped. The small terrace is enclosed. Unfortunately, when the outside temperatures are high, the heat there increases extremely. There are large laminated menus at every seat. We would prefer the feel of the tablecloth. The Crossella is typically served pre-cut on a very thin wooden board. You are not allowed to cut because of the wood on the board. So you have to eat with your hands or you also order cutlery with plates. The tables are too cramped for that. The coating on the Crossella was very good. No tomato sauce like on usual pizza. The porcini mushrooms were plentiful and excellent. To get to the bathroom there is a very steep staircase through the kitchen into the basement. The stairs are not entirely safe for older guests. Each guest has their own terry towel. You just have to like the atmosphere.

Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo piccolo splendido ristorante italiano molto accogliente piatti tipici italiani , io e la mia ragazza abbiamo ordinato spaghetti al tartufo un vero e proprio spettacolo mia mamma e mio fratello filetto ai porcini anche loro molto contenti bisogna prenotare essendo un Ristorante molto piccolo era molto affollato e nonostante ciò non abbiamo aspettato tanto!ci vediamo presto e grazie per l'ospitalità!!

Wir waren vor kurzem aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier essen. Was für eine Enttäuschung. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht geschmekt. Wir wohnen 500 km von Hannover entfernt und waren nur 1 Nacht dort, hatten uns auf einen guten Italiener gefreut. Die Nudeln, die als Spaghetti angepriesen wurden, entpuppten sich leider als dünne Spaghettini. Nicht al dente, leider weich und poppig. Die Quantität ließ auch zu wünschen übrig, leider nur eine handvoll. Ebenso klein der angeblich große Beilagensalat, beides über 30 Euro. Respekt! Meine Partnerin aß das Zanderfilet, 2 Männerdaumen große Stücke mit einem richtig kleinen Beilagensalat. Sonst nix dazu. Beides über 20 Euro. Was uns noch sehr gestört hat, war die Tatsache, dass sich die Toilette direkt neben der Küche befindet. Die Küchentür stand zudem komplett offen. Nicht gerade angenehm. Es ist für uns unverständlich, wie solch gute Bewertungen zustande kommen. Hatten wir hier einen absolut schlechten Tag erwischt??? Das Famze gipfelte letztendlich darin, dass der Betreiber leider die Wahrheit nicht toleriert hat und meine bereits über Google verfasste Bewertung entfernen ließ. Ein Gastronom muss mit Kritik umgehen können. Wenn Rezensionen, die nicht nur hohes Lob zollen, immer blockiert werden, dann ist das kein fairer Wettbewerb mehr. Wir gehen hier jedenfalls kein zweites Mal hin. Aber das soll jeder selbst ausprobieren.
