Äußerst gemütliche Location, wobei ich nur den Außenbeleuchtung bei 40 Grad kennengelernt habe, Gerichte sind besonders, daher auch recht hochpreisig. Hier geht man nicht hin, um satt zu werden.

Wir waren zu zehnt. Geburtstag halt. Und es wurde besonders. Wirklich. Super Bedienung. Jedes Gericht wurde auf Wunsch ausführlich erklärt. Gleichzeitig gab es eine gründliche Erläuterung zum passenden Wein. Dabei nicht oberlehrerhaft, sondern interessant und mitnehmend.Es war lecker, es war ein schöner Abend. Das gastgebende Geburtstagskind hat alles richtig gemacht.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It has a fantastic, sophisticated menu, albeit at a very high price point. Generally, the dishes justify the price. What was missing, however, was the final touch in the presentation. For example, I had a millefeuille of tuna and veal. Both were grayish after frying, along with side dishes that were similar in color. The taste was great, but at this price point, there could/should be a bit more – also for the visual appeal. Overall, we were satisfied and will definitely return.

The group was served their food later in the restaurant. This significantly improved the atmosphere for me. The restaurant was well attended, regardless of the group. Very good food! Well-thought-out dishes, very good ingredients. Unfortunately, there was a fairly large group during our visit, so the service was rather lacking. I would have preferred the wine recommendation from the chef/sommelier to be a little different. Normally, a wine recommendation is based on the course ordered. That wasn't the case. We were recommended a wine, but perhaps it would have been advisable to offer at least two different wines to taste. Overall, I/we are very satisfied with the food. I've been told that the service is usually quite personal. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Biagio Tropeano has been a household name in Kirchrode for 20 years. He's been doing well beyond that in the years before, but since then, he's been very special here. Yes, his restaurant is outstanding – the handwritten menu alone reads beautifully, and the kitchen always perfectly completes what's advertised. But the title is also "wine bar," and that's even better, because that's also possible... just a glass of wine in the front garden, perhaps with a small selection from the cheese buffet. It works, really works, always works. With the personal touch and charm of the chef, who also knows how to showcase the classics of a typical Italian osteria. Kirchrode now has well over 10 gastronomic concepts within walking distance and in a very small space – the number one is Tropeano Di-Vino. Definitely! By the way: Did I already mention the beautiful location, the quiet, spacious garden, and the half-timbered ambiance? No? Oh, then there’s that too… ;-)

A fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere and service. We had a fantastic meal. The dishes were truly prepared with heart and incredibly creative and flavorful. The strawberry risotto was truly phenomenal. The wines that accompanied our dishes were an experience in themselves: I think I've ever had the best Pinot Grigio here. Superlatives simply don't do this restaurant justice. Biagio and the rest of the team: thank you for a special evening.

We were there with a larger group. The one star is due solely to the friendly and attentive service staff; otherwise, it's practically zero stars. The food is okay, but not particularly outstanding. Rather disappointing for the price range. What is shocking, however, is the arrogant and rude manner of the manager. We've never experienced anything like it before. He should resign from the service department, as he's obviously completely overwhelmed with guests.

I have rarely had such a good meal with so much flavor! We celebrated my father's 88th birthday here and had an excellent meal, very individual creations and an incredible amount of taste in every bite. A cold evening. When the outside temperature was 3 degrees, you couldn't or didn't want to turn on the heating inside, that was the answer twice. At around 15 degrees we enjoyed the overwhelmed and sometimes arrogant service. Serving the Christmas market in the garden area and the indoor area at the same time doesn't work. A blatant disappointment for the prices quoted.

I've been to this restaurant several times. EVERY TIME it was excellent. The staff is very competent, helpful and very friendly. The wine recommendations were made personally by the boss (Biagio). Everything was perfect!!! The menu is extensive and individual requests are also catered for. I will definitely be a guest at this restaurant again soon.

Last weekend we were guests at the Tropeano with 12 people. It was an evening that was hard to beat. We were very lucky to be able to place our plaque in the garden under an old apple tree, the weather cooperated! The very friendly and attentive service was a pleasure. A 5-course menu of the highest class was a feast both in terms of taste and appearance, here are some excerpts (formulated in your own words): wild herb soup as a greeting, yellow beetroot with Barolo cheese, beef fillet with truffle mash and a dessert variation that left nothing to be desired! The location has always been beautiful: half-timbered interior, art in the garden, delicate cuisine and wine. But a summer evening with this menu, perfect service and warmth from Mr. Tropeano himself, we were ALL thrilled! Yes, it is in a high price range, but it is deserved. Because if you're looking for top-class quality and gastronomy, you've come to the right place. Thank you very much, Mr. Tropeano and the top team. You know your craft!

We were there with 8 people and had a wonderful summer evening. The food was excellent, creative and harmonious, and the recommended wines were excellent. Since the restaurant was, as is often the case, very busy, there was sometimes a bit of a wait between courses, but this was not a problem given the beautiful garden ambience. There were two of us eating and the food was very good. Wine recommendation from the boss himself. Everything is very good and high quality. The table we sat at was in the garden. The atmosphere was very nice, the floor was just a little soggy, so my heels suffered a bit. 😅 The floor could be fixed a bit. But there are also tables on the terrace, I'll pay attention next time.

The wine list is the boss himself! The Tropeano in Hanover offers special Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Old Italian dishes are given a modern interpretation and even the aperitivo, consisting of specialties from Piedmont, was an excellent chef recommendation. The restaurant has a special architecture with seating on several levels and surprises with a small vaulted cellar where many wine treasures are stored. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

I like to go on culinary journeys through Hanover and like to try out new things. We haven't been to this restaurant yet and admittedly, it's a luxury that you don't treat yourself to every day. Of course you come with a certain amount of anticipation. It's a shame if this doesn't come true. My companion had the prawn tartare first, then half a portion of ravioli and a fish on a skewer with a mushroom sauce. She said that he talked to her all night BUT I'm always careful about this because nausea can have many reasons. She was otherwise quite satisfied overall. I had the trip to South Tyrol as a menu. The cheese fondue was okay, the following Tyrolean bacon/bread combination was completely overcooked, hard and cold. The chamois ragout was delicious. The dessert was really disappointing. Ice-cold Kaiserschmarrn from a glass. I was very surprised to serve this pastry like this because the beloved fluffiness was a lumpy structure. The atmosphere is nice and I think it's nice to be outside in the summer. Well, we didn't have much and we didn't drink our way through the bar either. That's why I was very surprised by the bill of €230 for 2 people. To be clear: quality and a pleasant experience can cost money, but in this case the price/performance ratio is not right in my opinion. Well, the restaurant has its fan base and I'm sure my money doesn't matter. Oh yes - I've often read here that the food is served lukewarm to cold and we can both confirm that. I don't understand why nothing is done with such suggestions. If the distance from the kitchen to the table is too long - how about preheated plates? By the way, I definitely had the courage to convey my impressions to the service (who was friendly, by the way). I have done.

Ein sehr exquisites Restaurant. Toller Service, super leckeres Essen was man nicht überall findet. Wenn man mal nichts von der "Stange" will dann ist man hier richtig um sein Essen mal richtig zu genießen. Aber Achtung hohe Preise und kleine Portionen. Das mal "Andere" hat eben seinen Preis und ist wohl eher nichts für Vielesser. 😉
