It's nice here but the restaurant is not overwhelming. Pool is cool. Didn't try the sauna but I love that there's a gym here too.

I can definitely recommend the hotel.

I stayed here with my children during a Borussia Dortmund home game. The price/performance ratio is more than okay. The room was clean. An extra bed was also organized for us so that a child can sleep alone. The pool is also clean and highly recommended for the children to splash around in :-)

A very poor price/performance ratio. Very friendly staff. A dog bed with a water bowl and dentasticks was also set up in the room. Very attentive! Unfortunately the room was shabby, was right next to a garbage dump (I also had a special price of 300 a night instead of 420) and had no heating in the bathroom. Instead of the heating there was a lot of mold. The spa was disappointing. Two very old saunas which were not properly tempered (50° and 80°). The pool is a pleasant size. By far the worst thing was the food. Loveless and underground. But it is served in the bar. I certainly won't stay there again.

Friendly hotel near the trade fair. - However, it is still about 20 minutes away on foot. The rooms are very clean and practical.

This upper class hotel is on the edge of the city center. The large Westfalenpark is nearby. The Westfalenhalle is also not far away. Nice rooms. Reception friendly. Breakfast everything available.

Place feels a little tired and needs modernization, but high standards throughout

The hotel is very well located for visiting the trade fair, Westfalenhallen or stadium. Parking is very easy, either underground or above ground. There are sufficient parking spaces available. My room was modern, clean and flawless. But the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really spacious. The staff was very nice. All the staff at reception, bar and restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet offers a very good selection for a good start to the day. The coffee was tasty too :)

Unfortunately our room was quite dirty and gave the impression of a love hotel. They apologized very kindly and offered further cleaning. Facilities are good and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

We paid just under €420 for 2 nights with parking (€20 per day). The room was ok so far, but the bathroom wasn't particularly hygienic. The hotel lobby is open for a long time, the hotel has a self-service shop but it is quite expensive. The staff is nice, the wellness area and the gym are great!

Arrived on January 3rd, 2025, the hotel looks very worn out from the outside. Block, gray and small windows. The front desk was nice and gave us our room cards. When we were in the room, the bathroom door was very dirty, otherwise small rooms... fresh towels... everything was ok. After the first day the teacup was still there after cleaning. After the 2nd day, shampoo and conditioner were still not changed when requested. We got 2 new towels even though we were 3 people. Mold on the bathtub, water when showering, running into the whole bathroom. All towels needed to dry the bathroom. Foyer cold, you have to run after the service...pool ice cold, sauna at 7 p.m. at 50 degrees..., overall in need of renovation, not comparable to Rostock, Berlin, etc.

Unfortunately not completely satisfied. We wanted to spend a nice weekend here, unfortunately that wasn't quite possible. Of two saunas, only one works, and even that would have to be renovated. The cleanliness is so mediocre. The pool area is okay, but the water is very cold, so you can't really stand it for long. The breakfast isn't really that special for me either, but that's a matter of taste. All in all we booked from Friday to Sunday but are canceling on Saturday.

Staff is friendly, breakfast was good. The bathrobes were missing from the room, but they were given to us immediately after we complained at reception Unfortunately, the Ginger Bar was a failure. Burgers and fries were lukewarm to cold. The burger sauce was missing on a burger. Waiting time was also very long. One sauna was not in use and therefore the other was overly full. Too bad.

We spent five nights in this hotel and for €880 per stay you would expect a lot more. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The bar and restaurant were closed, the pool was freezing, and one of the two saunas was broken - the other was constantly overcrowded. Towels were in short supply: there was only one set for two people, and towels were never refilled at the pool. There were also drunken guests who harassed other hotel visitors - no one from the staff intervened. The housekeeping was poor: beds were only made once a week, even though we left a tip. The room was not clean and the supposedly soundproof walls let in every sound. The staff was slow, so you often had to wait hours for requests. Even the water dispensers were constantly empty. Only the breakfast was good. But when I say a “wellness hotel” I definitely mean something different. Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing for the price.

We stayed at the Radisson blu in Dortmund for 3 nights and check-in went smoothly. There is a mini kiosk in the entrance with drinks and snacks The room was pleasant and the bed was very good. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the wellness area, the temperature of the pool was very low, the saunas were overcrowded, and the counter wasn't occupied. No service in this area. The breakfast was ok, unfortunately the ginger bar was closed. We first had to ask that this was not obvious, the delivery service drove up several times in the evening because there was no possibility of eating in the hotel. I would have liked to end the evening with my husband in the bar, but unfortunately that wasn't possible. Unfortunately my expectations were not met.

We were there for one night. The room was okay but unfortunately without a minibar. The windows close very well. The saunas need a new coat of paint. The pool guests can be 2 degrees warmer. The staff is super friendly and nice. We found parking too expensive at 20 euros for 24 hours. We will still come back and are looking forward to it

Our stay was overall pleasant. Initially we were given a room with separate beds, even though we were traveling as a couple. Fortunately, this was resolved at short notice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The nearby park of lights in the German Garden was charming. Particularly positive is the courteous and friendly staff, who were always helpful. A successful stay with small teething problems!

The Radisson Blu is located very easily accessible. By car from afar, by subway from the city. The rooms are good according to the category, as is the service. I just think the parking fees are a bit too high.

For the last 22 years we have always been there to hunt and dog in Dortmund. Unfortunately the hotel has been dismantled every year. The service got worse and worse, culminating in the bar closing at 11 p.m. and 30 exhibitors standing at the bar being left standing. Statement from the employee at the time... there are self-service refrigerators up front... Thank you, no thank you! Breakfast hasn't changed over the years, except that they no longer put coffee on the table but instead set up machines. The only problem is that if 20 people want a coffee, it just takes 30 minutes. I don't want to talk about the saunas. They were broken or supposedly in maintenance. There are reasons why there are hardly any exhibitors at Radion Blue at the trade fair. We also changed because we were no longer valued.

A good and welcoming place. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very efficient and friendly - both at reception and restaurant. The only downside is that there's no room service and the only restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. You can still order food from outside though and the staff provides all sorts of help.

The bottom line is that it's a good enough hotel, but there is definitely room for improvement. . Breakfast was okay, quality, presentation and selection could be better. There is definitely no fridge in the room. . The pool wasn't really usable in a relaxed manner (first two large groups of pregnant swimmers, followed by a children's group swim), both saunas were "lukewarm", one was very dilapidated. The bottom line is that it’s too expensive! Staff friendly and hardworking. Hotel clean although a bit old.

The room was large and very comfortable, everything was clean and quiet. The service was always available, friendly and helpful. I didn't think the location was ideal, but everyone can see that differently. What always annoys me are parking fees. If someone wants to come on foot or by public transport, they can do that. I travel by car and it stays that way. I'm willing to pay around €180 for an overnight stay. I can also expect my car to be parked outside, unguarded, free of charge.

My husband and I were here again this weekend. We were given the stay as a wedding gift and what else can I say, we are more than satisfied! Despite a minimal delay on our part, the girls at reception immediately took my stress away! , they welcomed us warmly! ❤️ The room was really beautifully decorated!! We were incredibly touched by the commitment and love that we received here. We just have to thank Phillip and the whole team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Dortmund from the bottom of our hearts. The room was very run down -Broken tiles in the bathroom -The hair dryer holder almost fell apart and the electrical system was freely accessible -The cover of the bathtub was leaking, which meant that the floor in the bathroom was wet after showering -The armchair was cracked and worn -the curtain had tears The positive thing about the room was that the beds were comfortable Service was good and friendly, but it's a shame that you can't get any food at 9:33 p.m. because the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m

Hotel ideally located near the Signal Iduna Park stadium (10 minutes walk). I stayed there with my son for a weekend to attend a football match. I had booked a room with 2 beds. It was spacious but when showering, the bathroom floor was systematically flooded by water flowing onto the joint between the bathtub and the wall. Quiet hotel, varied buffet breakfast.

Perfect location if you want to attend a BVB game. The short walk (1.3 km) allows you to avoid public transport, which is really no fun before and after the game. The rooms were clean and even a little bigger than expected. In the entrance area there is a small self-service shop where you can buy drinks and snacks. The service is friendly, but apart from checking in and out we had little contact. The breakfast buffet is good and absolutely sufficient. Conclusion: gladly again 😀

The hotel is very stylishly decorated. However, I can't say anything about the rooms because I was only at a conference and therefore saw the lobby.

I was there from Saturday to Sunday with many colleagues. It looks super nice. The employees are very nice and always have a smile on their faces, and they were also helpful if you didn't know what to do next. The rooms are also super clean and nicely decorated.

Shabby hotel. In the room: sagging mattress, mold stains on the anti-slip pads in the bathtub, the sink drain smelled extremely. At breakfast there were old rolls (not crispy, even though they were there at 7 a.m.) and no filter coffee, despite demand and delivery promises (no criticism of the only waitress who had to do everything alone in the morning). Outdoor parking space 20€/day and therefore the overall price was significantly better and more modern hotels in the area...

Very friendly and competent staff. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely book it again for our next concert visit.

Well located hotel directly at Westfalen Park. Subway right outside the door. In 5 minutes in the city center. Room was renovated. Unfortunately the bathroom didn't have a proper shower. Only in combination with shower. This would have to be renewed in the future. Otherwise everything is ok. There is also a small supermarket.

I was there with family for 2 nights. The hotel is easily accessible and quiet. The rooms (we had a junior suite) are clean and modern. The equipment could be better in a few details (second blanket, uncomfortable fold-out couch for the children, faucet syringe). The breakfast was only moderately good. The service staff at breakfast were also often busy with their cell phones. The restaurant in the evening offers a rather small selection that doesn't taste great. Parking costs €20 per day. The pool was closed during our trip. Overall, the hotel was not worth the money for our family stay.

The hotel looks good, is clean and the reception staff are very friendly. The rooms are beautifully designed and offer a feel-good character. The hotel is located right next to the parking lot at Westfalen Park and is ideal for attending concerts. The service in the attached restaurant is very negative and really despairingly bad. Orders are processed by too few staff and our order was even completely lost. After waiting at the counter for 15 minutes, I was able to place our order 60 minutes after our first attempt. Then things went quite quickly, but there was no apology or goodwill. In short: hotel with a + but don't order anything in the restaurant again. I can only advise against this.

I really liked the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable. Everything in the bathroom is also very decent. There is air conditioning. We ordered breakfast, it seemed expensive, 20 euros per person. Top hotel for on the road. Nice accommodation, nice swimming pool (including for the children). Rooms were very good, breakfast was really great, very extensive. Staff super friendly and helpful. Some national football teams had stayed over before us (European Cup 2024), so that also says something.

Stayed at the hotel when I stayed on a weekend vacation to watch Dortmund. Staff we're very friendly and were very helpful with me with my very limited German. The room and facilities were top tier with a lower level for relaxation or workout in the gym. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the football stadium or 30 minutes from the City Centre which was very convenient.

As the saying goes? The paint is off. The room had a lot of wear and tear, the floor in the bathroom was broken. I don't think the overnight price is justified. Parking space extra Breakfast extra. However, the breakfast buffet is really great and leaves almost nothing to be desired. Of course, you also need the necessary time to enjoy it. But that's my problem and not the hotel's problem. 50 to 100 € less or at least parking and breakfast buffet included in the price would be nice. My room faced the street and the back yard, which made it impossible to sleep with the window open. A pity. But that was fine for one night. I would like to highlight the ladies from the breakfast service and the reception, they were really very nice and accommodating.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu on Dortmund for one night. It was great. Very clean, the room was great and the staff was super friendly. The spa area is good but you could do a little more with it. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. You can quickly reach the most beautiful stadium in the world, the Westfalenstadion, on foot. We will definitely come back.

Great room on the 4th floor with a king-size bed. Very clean and little extras in the bathroom round off the stay. A bathrobe and 2 additional towels were ready for a visit to the wellness area. The swimming pool and the two saunas were very well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is also great. Central connection to the subway lines, where you can get anywhere quickly. Great stay with excellent quality. Price completely justified.

We have nothing to complain about, the stay was very relaxing after an eventful day. The room was clean and the shower was really good. You could hear some (street -?) noise, but not disturbing. The free hot drinks in the lobby advertised on the homepage are no longer available upon request. The parking spaces are too expensive at €20. Tip: you can stand in front of the sports center for free, which is very easy to reach on foot if you don't have much luggage.

A very good hotel with great design and a great breakfast. Unfortunately, there is a point deduction for not honoring the announcement that the kitchen will be open after 9 p.m. However, what will be remembered most from the stay is the obviously heartfelt friendliness of the employees, which really set new standards. Overall, for me there can only be one rating: the highest conceivable! 10 out of 10 points.

Was very nice, but the swimming pool was not warm, was a bit cold for this time of the year. The restaurant also does most have too much options for dinner, is a limited menu. But the hotel it is nice, and behind the hotel there is a nice park to walk and have a coffee. Is a very safe area and nice for kids.

Great hotel, great service… My daughter and I went to the BvB game in Dortmund. We were there almost 3 hours before the actual check-in time and the nice gentleman at the entrance still gave us a room, so we had no stress at all about getting to the game on time and anyone traveling with children really appreciates that! There are 4 stars for that alone **** The hotel earned the last star thanks to its great location, clean rooms, great breakfast and of course a great spa area*! Thank you ! We'd love to come back :)

Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were closed due to illness. In the evening there was only a choice of 2 soups and a snack plate. Price performance wasn't really right, otherwise there wasn't enough space in the room to store things.

We spent one night here when we visited the Creativa craft fair. The beds were very comfortable and the journey was also easy. The staff welcomed us very nicely and answered all our questions. I also don't think the parking fee of €15/24 hours is too high.

Unfortunately disappointing. The first thing I was told at reception was that the kitchen was closed today. The room was ok, I slept well. But I couldn't open the window because of the traffic. Dirty coffee cup in the room. Garbage on the floor under the sink. And you have to use the towel from the room for the sauna and pool too. Unfortunately, in my opinion, this is bad service. Breakfast was good.

Good morning I wanted to let you know that if I'm such a poor person, there's no shower gel in the bathroom, it's rather unacceptable to have an empty container, and the shampoo has a broken container that doesn't work, so if I didn't have my own set, I wouldn't be able to take a bath. The second thing is the coffee machine, which is there, but there are no capsules, if there are none, it is better to remove it so that it cannot be used because it is an unnecessary decoration.

Great hotel in an excellent location for attending Borussia Dortmund games. Stadium is approx 20 mins walk away. U stop is also nearby and just a few stops from city centre. Only disappointment was evening meals. Staff seemed overwhelmed by how busy it was pre match day. More staff are required for the amount of custom on these occasions.

We weren't there to stay overnight, we just used the spa/wellness area. A very friendly and informative welcome at reception. The fitness, sauna area and swimming pool are available for 14 euros until 6 p.m. and 7 euros thereafter. The fitness center had at least 13 different ways to work out, from bikes, treadmills, steppers to weights and dumbbells. A free vending machine with water is available there. The swimming pool is large enough to swim lengths and have various options for sitting down or lying down. Massages can also be booked. Two saunas with a relaxation room and different types of showers are available. We really liked it, the only negative point is that the joints in the women's shower need to be replaced due to mold. Parking on site, but subject to a charge. The subway and Westfalenpark are less than a 10 minute walk away. We'd love to come back.

In my room, the shower was still dirty with hair from the previous person. After asking a few times that I would like to clean it, the police suddenly showed up because of trespassing. But the room was paid for the days. My chain, which wasn't exactly cheap, was of course gone (stolen.) I can't recommend this hotel last night... And if you go there, it's better to leave the jewelry at home

The hotel is near the stadium. Subway station is also just a few steps away. What I didn't like was that you always had to use your room card in the elevator in order for it to move at all and you could only go to your floor.

My favorite hotel in Dortmund. The breakfast was very rich and the reception staff were very nice. The only thing is that there is no do not disturb sign in the room. And even if you write Do Not Disturb on the door. The waiter went in to clean the room as usual. I don't like it a bit.

Friendly staff, both at the reception as well as at the bar and in the restaurant. Nice, clean rooms. The only thing I find rude is the fifteen euro parking fee per day, I think that should be included. Still five stars because everything else is great!
