Went here twice during a weeklong business trip to Nürnberg after someone recommended it to us - really great food, very nice atmosphere (homey vibes), and has an English speaking staff which makes communication easier. Honest staff as well - our friend had mistakenly paid 200% of the bill yet they returned the money to us! Best to book a table though because the place gets full easily. P.s. when we couldn't decide to get focaccia or bruschetta, the staff offered the focaccia x bruschetta fusion to us which I think was a genius idea - shout out to Federico!

Excellent Italian restaurant in Nuremberg! We had lunch at this restaurant and were really satisfied! We started with two meat carpaccios, very fresh and well seasoned. Then we tasted spaghetti with clams, a margherita pizza and tagliatelle with truffles: all the dishes were prepared with quality ingredients and excellent attention to detail. The real surprise came at the end of the meal: the chef offered us some homemade Sicilian cannoli, simply delicious! A gesture that made the experience even more special. Terrific service. Friendly and professional waiters. We will definitely be back! Well done!!!

We are writing this review from the heart after eating at the restaurant for the first time. The evening started comfortably and deliciously and ended with singing, dancing and laughing. Together with the super accommodating staff, we danced and had fun together after the store closed. The whole team creates a wonderful atmosphere!

The Quo Vadis restaurant is located in a very beautiful historic building, which creates a great atmosphere. The food is extremely good and we have been there several times. The staff is very friendly and warm.

I had made a reservation, but no one at reception seemed to have noticed, which seemed a bit disorganized. Nevertheless, I was finally brought to a table. The atmosphere was very cozy and the music was pleasantly subtle. The dishes were beautifully presented on the plates, but the taste was rather average and not at the level of the competition in Nuremberg. Overall, a solid restaurant, but there is room for improvement in both service and cuisine.

The food was very tasty. In particular, the spagetti carbonara made from the parmesan wheel, which is served at the table from the loaf directly onto the plate, really appealed to my taste. The chocolate souffle was an appropriate dessert.

Four of us went to a birthday dinner with our grandson. Our food was from the daily menu and off the menu. Everything was very tasty, not overly seasoned. The appetizer plate was a great start, I've never had such a delicious vitello tonnato. Tomato sauce with the meatballs was a poem, fish fillet with vegetables everything was on point, pizza was well topped, pasta with bacon and tomatoes was a taste experience - THANK YOU FOR THAT. Tiramisu recommended, not as fatty as usual.

Very cutely decorated restaurant. We were there for a birthday dinner, everyone had something different. The canelloni just looked sad, 3 small rolls for the price is really outrageous. €33.50 for a fillet that weighed around 200 grams and then as a side dish 3 pieces of potato and a bit of paprika as well as instant mashed potatoes is also very bold. The portions are far too small for the price, and the taste isn't exactly great either. I specially ordered my steak WITHOUT butter and got a piece of meat and vegetables smeared in butter. Too bad. We're definitely not coming back.

Stopped there once to convince and unfortunately there was nothing at all! Food is so highly praised..., had pasta from the cheese wheel & dark tagliatelle with shrimp. First of all, it took forever (probably due to the Christmas parties), but that can still be forgiven. Despite having reserved a table a week in advance, we were accommodated upstairs with the half-drunk guests at the party - that didn't work at all!!! Volume 110%, should have sent us away. So now to the food: the portions were far too small and tasteless for all of us. Hardly any cheese or fish taste, which is a real shame. The presentation was nice, the ambience was also great, unfortunately the atmosphere... I felt very sorry for the service because you could tell they were uncomfortable too. Price performance 👎, it's a shame actually

Great Italian! We had great antipasti Italiano, tagliatelle with truffles from the parmesan wheel and tiramisu for the finale. Everything great The only drawback was that we wanted pepper to go with the tagliatelle, but unfortunately that didn't work.

Very cozy and nice restaurant. However, it was a bit hectic on a Saturday and we weren't recommended a day ticket. This made us a bit surprised that other people had great served pasta made from cheese at the table. At first we thought that it had to be ordered in advance until we later discovered the daily menu being pushed to the table of other guests. We just thought that was a shame because there were some very good-sounding dishes on there. We waited about 40 minutes for our drinks, but we had a lot to talk about, so it was bearable. The food itself was very tasty and beautifully presented. The price is okay for the ambience and the food. I'll be back because it's around the corner from me and the food was delicious. Now I know that there's a daily menu and I'll actively ask for it next time if necessary :)

We were recently at Quo Vadis and had an overall mixed but ultimately lovely evening ☺️ The truffle dishes were absolutely delicious and a highlight of the evening - really on point and a clear recommendation! We also really liked the Christmas decorations and the cozy atmosphere; the store was decorated with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, the starters were not convincing and did not appeal to us in terms of taste. However, the boss was extremely friendly and accommodating: he took the starters off the bill and gave us a delicious liqueur on the house as an apology. This idea of ​​service rounded off our evening in a very positive way. We will definitely come back, especially because of the truffles and the great hospitality!

Ambience top. Service Nice and friendly but firm. Unfortunately the food wasn't good enough for the prices quoted. Pizza is crispy and good size but tastes rather bland and boring... hardly any seasoning. Pasta (pumpkin filling) with butter sage sauce very neutral in taste and very bland ... plus 6 filled noodles for €18.50 ... Unfortunately, nothing we would come back to... maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, who knows.

If Italian then Quo Vadis. Everything is just right here. You always feel well looked after and the atmosphere is familiar. The food is always perfect and the service is always attentive. No matter whether outside in the summer or in the restaurant itself - you just feel comfortable and enjoy being a guest here. Small requests are always taken into account and the head of the house takes the time to personally check on the well-being of the guests, even when there is a lot of stress, which is not uncommon. We have been coming for years and still enjoy it

Wir waren zu dritt da und hatten reserviert. Zuerst hatte das Servicepersonal schon große Schwierigkeiten uns unseren Platz zu zeigen. Wir saßen dann im 1. Stock. Der Service kam nur selten bei uns vorbei. Wir mussten über eine Stunde warten bis unser Essen kam. Zweimal Fischtopf - sehr schmackhaft und reichhaltig. Ein Hirschbraten, das Fleisch war leider sehr trocken. Das muss nicht sein. Der Service hat uns mehr oder weniger vergessen. Wir bekamen keine Weinkarte und konnten nur zweimal Getränke bestellen. Dann kümmerte sich niemand mehr um uns. Keine Frage nach Nachspeisen, keine Frage nach Kaffee und um die Bezahlung mussten wir uns auch noch selber kümmern und nach unten gehen und darum bitten, dass wir bezahlen dürfen......

There were three of us and we had reserved. At first the service staff had great difficulty showing us our place. We then sat on the 1st floor. The service rarely came to us. We had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. Fish pot twice - very tasty and rich. A roast venison, the meat was unfortunately very dry. That doesn't have to be the case. The service more or less forgot about us. We weren't given a wine list and were only able to order drinks twice. Then no one cared about us anymore. No question about desserts, no question about coffee and we had to take care of the payment ourselves and go downstairs and ask to be allowed to pay...

Very tasty food, also great daily specials. We were served very friendly and courteously, the dishes were excellent and the wine recommendations were also top. 100% recommendation. Quo vadis? Reasonably priced Italian cuisine. There are other places in the city cheaper for the same level, depending on the evening with a nicer evening: The waiter accidentally spills the white wine over the table and down jacket, apologizes and cleans up. Something like that happens, you say politely: “Everything is fine.” At the level you have chosen, you expect that you will be offered to have your jacket cleaned or, as a gesture, at least panna cotta, espresso, at least something... We waited in vain for that. In the end I asked for the bill three times in vain before I had to ask for it inside after waiting almost 40 minutes (sat outside in the summer of 2024).

Our favorite Italian in Nuremberg, great food as always and an exceptionally good daily menu this evening. Giovanni runs the shop with heart and soul, very authentic and the whole team is super friendly. I can only recommend it.

My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Nuremberg. Giovanni always offers a varied daily menu without forgetting the classics in his regular menu. A clear favorite are the fussili with ragout and burrata or the fish platter.

We visited Quo Vadis with a group of 15 people. The team set up a large table for us at the back of the restaurant so we could all sit together. The service, the ambience and the food were simply excellent. I can unreservedly recommend Quo Vadis!

I have had the pleasure of dining at the QUO VADIS restaurant several times and have been particularly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, perfect for a special evening. The service was impeccable, the staff was friendly, attentive and always open to our requests. The menu was creative and the portions were generous. The presentation of the dishes was a true work of art. I particularly tried meatballs with sauce, octopus salad, spaghetti with clams, spaghetti aglio e olio e peperoncino, sole with vegetables a few times and also pizza, and it was an exceptional eating experience. Ich kann die guten Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen ... mir fallen mindestens 6-7 Italiener ein wo es um welten besser schmeckt für weniger Geld ... ich habe nur einmal in meinem Leben schlechter italienisch gegessen als heute abend .... seltsamerweise wurde uns das Restaurant von einer Italienerin empfohlen. Zu Beginn gab es ein Vitello Tonato, das Vitello war von einem Kalb was sehr lange und gesund gelebt hat... Zähes Fleisch ... dazu eine Tonato Creme mit dem geschmack einer Fertigcreme vom Supermarkt... Meine Frau hatte Nudeln mit Salsiccia -Wurst , im ganzen Teller war genau ein Stück wurst versteckt , dazu gab es Tomatensauce ohne jegliches Gewürz... Mein Gorgonzola Risotto für 22 Euro schmeckte wie in Gorgonzola ertränkter Reis... Auch hier hier kein Gewürz.... Wenn ich das Gefühl habe ich könnte das selbst besser kochen verliere ich die Lust am Restaurantbesuch... Für meinen Sohn gabe es eine Art Rahmschnitzel, das auch in Gorgonzola ertränkt war ... Der Hunger trieb es hinein ... Das Ambiente ist ganz nett , aber es fehlt irgendwie der italienische Flair und der gewisse Charme , den man bei der Bedienung beim Italiener erwartet . So wurden uns die Speisekarten nicht angereicht sondern lieblos auf den Tisch geworfen ... Quo Vadis ? ( = Wo geht es hin ? ) auf diese Art sicher bergab

We had a good meal there and had a pizza and a pasta dish. Both were solid and tasty. As a starter we had a bruschetta on which the topping was very good, but the baked (frozen?) baguette somewhat diminished the impression/taste.

Were there in the evening. Very nice garden to sit outside. Calm environment. The restaurant was well attended but not full. The service was slow and disinterested. We felt more like we were being a nuisance. After we finished eating, we weren't looked at for 45 minutes. We then skipped dessert. The food was okay, but for the price asked there are better Italian restaurants in Nuremberg.

A wonderful romantic location. Unfortunately a stressed and annoyed waiter. But what is probably most interesting: the food 👎. My pizza only tasted like dough with no spices (margarita) with a hard part (no idea what it was) that killed half my tooth after biting on it (had to have a crown put on it for 996 euros) then there was a rubber (probably according to the waiter from the ruccola). I told the waiter everything, his biggest problem was where the rubber came from. It's a shame ☹️

The atmosphere is really nice and you can sit well. I must have had a bad day with the service, there wasn't much going on and yet the service seemed rather annoyed and never checked whether drinks were needed. Others seem to have had good experiences. The pizza was very tasty. Unfortunately, the others weren't so enthusiastic about the meat and salad. I find it very questionable to charge 5 euros for a side dish change from potatoes and vegetables to tagliatelle.

Der Besuch im Quo Vadis war eher spontan, die Reservierung per Telefon einfach. Am frühen Abend konnten wir uns einen Platz aussuchen, das schöne Wetter ließ ein Essen im gemütlichen Aussenbereich zu. Nach einem freundlichen Empfang gab es einen Überblick über die Speisekarte und die typisch italienisch "Steh-Tageskarte". Das reichhaltige Angebot bietet sicher für jeden Geschmack etwas an. Die Speisen waren optisch liebevoll zubereitet, es fehlte jedoch das besondere Geschmackserlebnis. Im Vergleich zu anderen guten italienischen Restaurants schneidet das Quio Vadis für uns deshalb weniger gut ab. Passend dazu wurde uns zur Rechnung auch kein "Absacker" angeboten ... Das Fazit: gut gegessen, aber zu hochpreisig.

Wir haben einen ganz entspannten Abend verbracht- immer wieder sehr gern. Zum Dessert gibt es außer der Vergabe ganz vieler Sterne nichts hinzuzufügen- seht selbst auf dem Bild.
