Simply fantastic. Food for every taste. Friendly and fast staff, especially Mr. Panos. We'd love to come back for dinner.

Unfortunately, the server was very stressed and made the guests feel it. That was a real shame.

When we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to eat or just have a drink. We were then shown to a table. The seating was good and plentiful. We both ordered a pizza. It was quite large and generously topped. Upon request, we were given garlic and chili oil, which enhanced the pizza even more. We got to talking with the people at the next table, and it turned into an interesting, enjoyable, and delicious evening.

The pizza falls into the "worst" category I've ever eaten!!!!!! Arrived cold No comment on the dough! Mozzarella????? 😅 🫣🤐🤨👎👎👎👎👎

The pizza arrived cold and was then reheated. The staff seemed stressed because of the Christmas market outside, as people were using the restroom.

It's more of a tourist hotspot, but still recommendable, especially during the Christmas market.

Authentic Italian flair, incompetent service. The fantastic location on the main market square and the Italian ambiance invite you to linger. The food does its part to create a real holiday feeling. Unfortunately, the service can't keep up: unfriendly and inattentive. Update 12/2025: The food and atmosphere are still real feel-good factors. And the service has improved significantly. Thumbs up. Worth coming back.

The pizza arrived cold at our table, the spaghetti portion was very small, I ordered coffee - but I had to get the sugar myself never again!!!

The service was appalling. For two people, the first order arrived after 45 minutes, and the second person's meal was simply forgotten – no apology, no attempt at compensation even after another 25-minute wait. The first person had already finished eating, yet there was still no acknowledgment. We then asked for the bill, and again, no further apology. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant in such a location. Furthermore, the quality of the one dish left much to be desired.

They tried to convince us there was a minimum card payment, which doesn't exist in Germany. We were with a person in a wheelchair, and they made us have a terrible time for €7.80. They treated us with contempt and rudeness; the waiter was older, dark-haired, and had an Italian ID. We won't be back.

Horrible service. The waiter couldn’t be bothered to listen to our questions. He made it seem as though we were a burden to him and the restaurant. He didn’t listen to us when it came to taking our order and when the order came out it was wrong. Hands down the rudest waiter I’ve come across. He also was not knowledgeable on the food they offered. The food was mediocre at best. Save yourself the money and go to one of the other many better Italian restaurants around.

The best Italian restaurant in Nuremberg!

This restaurant convinced me that good food really does make you happy. The dishes taste as if the kitchen had made a deal with my stomach. The service? Fast enough to impress, slow enough not to seem suspicious. A place where you'll want to linger a little longer. Highly recommended!

Before an upcoming event, I stopped here at Provenza for a bite to eat. As a local, I always enjoy visiting this Italian restaurant because the quality and taste are consistently excellent. Today, I was very pleased with my antipasti platter – the cured meats were top-notch, plentiful, and delicious. I also enjoyed a very good dessert, topped off with a double espresso. Once again, I had a wonderful meal here, received attentive service from a very friendly waiter, and the price is very reasonable for the location and the quality. See you soon!

Good food in a beautiful setting with an ideal location.

Very nice pizzeria in the city center. Delicious pizzas and a cheerful lady who served us. You can see that the staff works with pleasure, because you can hear singing while serving. Prices are moderate and not excessive Maybe a little too thin dough for me, but that's a matter of taste.

A great Italian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The gnocchi were very good, and the poppy seed cheesecake my wife had was fantastic. We'll definitely visit again next time. The little Fiat at our table was really cute.

We only stopped by today for an espresso and a coffee. It is and remains the best espresso/coffee in Nuremberg. 👍

I've been on planet Earth for 45 years. I've never left a meal unfinished until today. This was by far the worst pizza on Earth. Absolutely not a recommendation.

First, you're quickly seated in a truly beautiful setting, and then you're practically forgotten. Ordering food or drinks meant waiting 20 minutes before you could express your preference. The food itself arrived quickly. The pizza wasn't tasty. Run-of-the-mill tomato sauce, spices, or salt? None. The crust was very rubbery. Then, I had to wait another 20 minutes before they acknowledged my request. You should know.

A beautifully located restaurant with a view over the main market square, and that was about all the positives. Two waiters were busy on the terrace: a young man who apparently wasn't responsible for our table, and an unfriendly, overwhelmed woman. After being skillfully ignored for 45 minutes, we left the restaurant. What a pity.

5 stars is definitely the minimum I have to give. Simply the best Italian restaurant in all of Nuremberg... The food is delicious and the atmosphere inside is fantastic. I was particularly impressed by what I would call the "animatore," Luciano. A true Italian with a true love for what he does! And you can really feel that as a guest. I spontaneously went there with my wife, and we were excellently looked after. We chatted about Italy, and Luciano told us about Bologna and invited us for an espresso after we paid. We're already looking forward to our next visit and can only recommend everyone to visit "Provenza."

I visited Provenza for the first time yesterday, and even though it was full, we received extremely courteous and personal attention. The food (pasta and salad) tasted delicious, had just the right portion size, and arrived quickly and hot. I'm especially impressed by the ambiance; the view from the window alone is enough. :)

Unfortunately, the staff seemed very overwhelmed, and therefore rather unfriendly and stressed. The food took an extremely long time to arrive, and when it finally arrived, it seemed as if it had just been warmed up. Overall, it was very disappointing for a cozy dinner. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

The food was average, certainly not exceptional, considering we're in Germany. The appetizer was okay, the pizza was edible but nothing special. The setting was well-maintained and the atmosphere was excellent. The service was friendly and fast.

We had the lasagnas. They weren't tasty. The sauce wasn't fresh, but overcooked. Clearly reheated several times.

Overwhelmed staff at moderate capacity. With the exception of the lady, almost every waiter cut me off so I couldn't get any work done. Ordering a refill of Coke became a real challenge! But first, back to the beginning. Shown to my seat, waited 10 minutes for the menu to be brought by the aforementioned lady, who wasn't even in charge of us! Then no one came to take our order for ages. After closing the menu, I waited about 15 minutes. I asked the lady to send her colleague! Then the expected waiter came, who walked past me at least five times. Well, things can only get worse, I thought. Ordered two pizzas and a pasta dish. One pizza came pretty quickly, while the second for my eldest didn't arrive until my youngest and I were almost finished. Oh yeah, when I wanted to ask where she was, I was cut off and not listened to. The answer was, "It's busy!" Unfortunately, I also have eyes to assess the situation! I was already ready to go to McDonald's so my eldest could get something to eat. And I was able to order my Coke when the second pizza arrived. I finished eating, asked for the bill, and waited forever again. The worst part was, the next table was cleared first, and then the bill arrived! Overall, the visit to Provenza was a complete disaster. Unqualified and rude staff have no place in service.

Other guests who arrived after us had already ordered before we even received a menu. When we were then yelled at, we left without ordering anything.

The food was good. Unfortunately, the service was completely subpar. The waiter was overwhelmed and unorganized. The manager just stood there and watched instead of helping out himself. It wasn't a pleasant evening.

Very disappointing – service and honesty left a lot to be desired We went to the restaurant with our family (two children) and only ordered a few pizzas. The wait, however, was an incredible 1.5 hours. After just 40 minutes, we asked and received the answer "coming right away." After over an hour, we asked again – and again, we were told "coming right away." In the end, the food tasted average at best. I found the way we were treated as guests particularly disappointing: Instead of communicating honestly, we were repeatedly fobbed off with empty promises. This is absolutely unacceptable to me. We're certain: We won't be back.

You can only pay by card for amounts over €20, and if you don't tip (because the waiter doesn't get it), you don't even get a thank you or goodbye. Thanks, but never again. PS: The Aperol wasn't anything special anyway.

Very tasty food and very friendly service.

Good food! Great service ⭐️. The three of us just arrived and were greeted with typical Italian hospitality by our waiter, Luciano. Seated at a lovely table between olive trees, we were immediately given the menu and were able to order quickly. My pasta and salad were excellent! 😋. Highly recommended overall, and a big compliment to Luciano and the kitchen! We'll definitely be back.

Very bad experience. I came here with my sister for drinks and something to eat. We sat down. It wasn't crowded. We waited over 30 minutes for a waiter to come and serve us. In the end, we left because no one came.

ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN! That's for sure! We went to an Italian restaurant today with two adults and two children and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We had to wait over an hour for four simple margarita pizzas. During that time, we politely asked where the food was. However, one of the servers reacted completely inappropriately – not a word, just a horrified look, as if we had asked something rude. It felt very disrespectful. Our actual server at least apologized later and said there had been problems in the kitchen. Nevertheless, guests who had arrived long after us were served their pizzas and pasta much earlier. After a total of about 80 minutes, our food finally arrived. This was an imposition, especially with two hungry children. We remained polite and showed understanding, but this kind of treatment and service are simply disappointing. It's a real shame, as we were really looking forward to the visit.

A lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and stylish decor. The food was absolutely delicious – the pizza and pasta tasted authentically Italian! The only downside was that it took about 90 minutes for our order to arrive, which felt quite long. Hopefully, service speed can be improved in the future, because the quality of the food is truly worth it.

The service was initially friendly. The pizza Capricciosa was okay. The pizza Verdura looked like a defrosted pre-made pizza, just not cooked properly. Regarding the service – during the payment process, I placed my Amex on the charger and paid. What followed was simply a disgrace. "They don't take Amex – it was okay – yes, but I should have asked first, then I would have said no." And this was done in a way that made me say, "never come back" – with the explanation that they would get their money from Amex later – because more expensive isn't usually true.

We went here for dinner yesterday. The ambiance is lovely; I really like the small Fiat 500 on the ground floor. If you look out the window, you can see the main market square directly, and you'll see lots of interesting people. The service was excellent, very attentive, and friendly at all times. The food came very quickly and tasted really good. If you like Italian cuisine, this is the place for you.

A truly fantastic Italian restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was fast and well-organized, and the staff very friendly and attentive. The child-friendly approach was particularly pleasing – we were immediately offered a children's menu and everything was done to ensure our child felt comfortable. We would definitely be back!

You can go there anytime. We had a birthday dinner there, and everything went well. The pasta dishes are especially recommended.

The lady at the reception was friendly but rather apathetic. The food came quickly, and the server was friendly as well. The pasta dishes were average. In summary, it's okay, but I won't be a repeat customer for pasta. The restaurant itself looks attractive, and you can sit comfortably downstairs or upstairs on the terrace. They serve Aperol or Sarti, so it's perfect if you just want a small Spritz.

Me and my father had visited this place. The places' location was good. I ordered a gelato and my father ordered a pizza. The bottom side of pizza's were burnt but in overall, both of them were good enough. What bothered me was that none other than the waiter's behaviours and the talking style to us.oone of the waiters was acting so cocky, and didn't seem to be kind at all, i don't know if he had a beef with us.. But besides the manners of the waiters, the location is awesome. It's inside was decorated so well. Hopefully, the waiters won't be acting this rude to the upcoming guests.

The prices for the food are average overall, but you'll have to dig a little deeper for the drinks. The decor is tasteful and cozy. What's particularly nice is that the restaurant is spread over two floors and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. A real eye-catcher inside is an original Fiat 500, which charmingly underlines the Italian ambiance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which further enhanced the positive overall impression. One small negative: The men's restroom was unfortunately not as well-maintained as one would expect from such a cosy restaurant – not a big deal, but could be improved. All in all, a very successful visit. We would definitely return and can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

I love coming here when I'm in town; the staff is quick and friendly. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The only thing that bothered me was that the pizza wasn't pre-sliced; but that's a minor issue that the taste makes up for.

The location of this restaurant is undoubtedly excellent. Unfortunately, the exorbitant prices spoil the overall impression. We had to pay €21 for an Aperol Spritz and a gin and tonic. At the bar next door (same location), you can get equivalent drinks for €17.

The food was good, but I find the price of €25 for a larger portion of spaghetti a bit excessive. They were good, though. 👍. The service was too hectic and initially unfriendly.

I've never experienced such great service, so first of all, compliments. The staff are very friendly and considerate! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the tables are clean. The food is actually quite average, but the prices are outrageous. The drinks, in particular, made me laugh for a moment. So, I'm sorry, inflation or not, but this is really just crazy.

A real disappointment: the grilled salmon was dry and tasteless, vegetables (carrots and zucchini) were very, very hard .. you could say - raw !

Instead of Italian lemonade, there's only Schwip Schwap, which can only be paid for in cash. The waiter is very unfriendly.

We were there spontaneously on a Saturday evening and got a place straight away. Very friendly staff, they take care of everything straight away and the order went very quickly. Food was great, we had a pizza and a pasta dish and ate everything ;). There's nothing to complain about, we'd love to come back.

Food was good. Pasta was delicious, salad was a bit lacking but tasted good. The many AI-generated images irritate and ruin the ambience, especially when they even display images from real artists. I find it contradictory.

Restaurant with many tables, with an open kitchen, we had lunch at 3:30 p.m. without a problem. The service took quite a while, but then I made up for it with how good the food was. The salmon and bolognese lasagna were very delicious and a toast called COBO was also very delicious and abundant.

When we came in it smelled very musty. When we sat down we noticed that our table had the same smell. Service is totally unfriendly, just because we didn't know what we wanted to drink after 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the food arrived burnt and was definitely not fresh! Unfortunately, the toilets are not clean and stink, and the soap dispensers are both broken. In my opinion the food and drink is very expensive. Just for a 0.5l juice spritzer they charge €8.10

The food is very tasty and beautifully presented. The pizzas are good, but we've had better. The salmon was very well prepared. The spaghetti carbonara is prepared without cream and is recommended for that reason alone. I don't think it's guanciale, but rather speck, as there's also a strip of bacon on top. Personally, it didn't bother me. Quite the opposite – I'd come back for the carbonara and the fish. The service was friendly. The waitress tried to upsell, but was by no means unpleasant. Rather, it reflects professional and dedicated service. The location is unbeatable, especially by the window. The interior is unusual, and there's a good atmosphere in the restaurant. The price is high, but reasonable and acceptable for the location. We were there on a Saturday at 1 p.m. and immediately found a table for four by the window without a reservation. I saw families with children in the restaurant.

The delicious food and pleasant space were completely overshadowed by the fact that the employee who served us added a 10% tip to the bill without saying anything! I only saw it after paying, when I asked for the bill.
