Quitte in Solingen

Yesterday I celebrated my 60th birthday with about 60 guests at the Quitte restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the premises are very clean and well-maintained. The team arranged tables and standing tables beautifully for our group size, leaving plenty of room for the band and dance floor! The decorations were done according to our wishes and looked amazing! We even spoke with them twice beforehand to ensure everything was perfect. Rüdiger from the Quitte even thought of things we had forgotten during the planning. The food (Italian buffet) was delicious and fresh! The meat (veal and chicken) was of very high quality, and everyone raved about the potato gratin! The staff frequently checked on drinks at the tables and served them quickly and professionally. Overall, I can happily give it 5 stars. All my expectations were met and even exceeded! I would gladly return to the Quitte!!

Unfortunately, I received no response to our inquiry about renting the Quitte for our wedding. They advertise a vegetarian/vegan buffet, but apparently that's not possible. It's a shame to have to discuss what we want for our own celebration. The owner was supposed to get back to me with suggestions, but I haven't received any response to my messages. Disappointing and truly unprofessional.

Last week we celebrated our wedding at Quitte and what can we say, it was perfect and we had an unforgettable celebration. We and our guests were thrilled and received nothing but positive feedback. The barbecue buffet was really good (my husband is still raving about the spare ribs), the service was efficient and always friendly, the guests were always quickly refilled with drinks, the location was fantastic, and the owners, Steffi and Rü, are both so welcoming and we simply felt at home. Cozy atmosphere, very tasty food at reasonable prices and very nice, lovely hosts.

A good and reasonably priced venue for celebrations. We were here for a graduation party. We provided the buffet ourselves. Drinks could be ordered at the bar or at the table. The currywurst offered by the restaurant (also available vegetarian or with chicken) was very tasty. The staff did a really good job.

A very bad place for celebrating. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. The food was far too greasy and tasteless. Not recommended!!!

As always, we had a lovely Christmas party. Good food, friendly staff, simply wonderful! Thank you for that.

Can be highly recommended. We celebrated there. Afterwards we spent the night in the parking lot (Parknight) in our VAN. 👍

Great location, friendly team, good and reliable service, delicious food: what more could you want? I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart! The first conversation with Rüdiger (aka Rü) was relaxed, warm, open and I immediately felt like I was in good hands. You also met me with a few heartfelt wishes for my birthday - thank you very much for your flexibility. It was an unforgettable evening and I would also like to praise Frank, who was not only very friendly, organized and foresighted, but also thought beyond what was required.
