Q-bap - Qualitäts-Kebap in Nürnberg

The Big Doner was really big, and at €8.50. Unfortunately, most Big Doner don't quite fill me up, even though they cost €10. This one, at €8.50, was really filling, and it was a really poor quality doner. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, kebabs don't taste good, they just fill you up. I know countless kebabs in Nuremberg that taste better; they used to be better.

Food was cold. Too many fries, too little meat. Salad was fried. Staff was rude.

As a former chef, I ordered a large kebab plate for myself and my friend, at a price of €12.50 per plate, which was never worth it. Firstly, the food was cold, and secondly there were too many fries, covered in not even 50g of meat and a lot of sauce. The salad was neither cleaned nor seasoned properly, the staff were absolutely unfriendly - and then they advertise against racism - keep your hands off this snack bar!

Absolutely friendly and welcoming! Even though I arrived three minutes before closing time, I received a very warm welcome, and they even offered me something to eat. You can tell it's made with love! I'll definitely be back here again and highly recommend it! 😊

Nice shop, but the prices made me think I was eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Next time, for that kind of money, I'd rather eat with cutlery and a tablecloth.

Unfortunately, I ordered a kebab plate today and, as you can see in the picture, an insect popped out of it. I told the staff and, ah, they didn't wash it properly, so I have to say I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it. I didn't even get a new plate and I didn't get my money back either!

Doner kebabs are perfectly fine, but better stay away from the desserts. They seem to be sitting there unchecked for days. I got three, ate two without paying attention, and the third was found to have mold... I don't know if the other two were okay, but for the price of €3.50, or €6 for a large portion, that's pretty shocking...

I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, but unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined recently – especially since the lady with the short hair left the front office. Last weekend was definitely my last visit. The meat was completely cooked and therefore dry, the bread was old and hard – definitely not fresh. It's a shame, because the doner kebab plate used to be one of the best in the entire area. It's a shame that the quality has declined so much.

Today I ordered a big doner kebab without onions for €8.50. I got a very small doner kebab with little meat and lots of salad, plus a lot of onions. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend it.

Hello, the food is as delicious as always, but the service is a bit out of place. I came in with my wife. At first glance, someone was sitting at what I would call a doner kebab table, where the doner kebab is cut. We ordered and went out to a place where you can sit and waited. Normal people would say the food is ready or hello, your order is ready. In this case, they just whistle loudly. I just thought, never mind, go in and get the food. I went in and then the three men laughed their heads off. Because I went in after the whistle to get the food, instead of apologizing, they laughed. One said 'cheers' and then the other two really started laughing. My question is, are customers now going to be treated like dogs or are the three of them choosing their customers?

Honey...are you in Nuremberg today? I already know what my husband wants... Döner...of course, I'd gladly make a detour for this kebab/döner plate. I've known the place from the beginning. The variety of breads and the delicious rice alone are amazing. No run-of-the-mill salad—who on earth has arugula in their kebab? I'm always happy when my husband says after the meal, "That was delicious again."

Best doner shop everything is great

We've been getting different dishes from Q-bap ever since it opened. What I love is the selection of different breads, which are delivered by a family bakery in Schweinau. I haven't found cornbread anywhere else. The roasted vegetables are also delicious, as are the side dishes with rice, bulgur, fries, or pasta... and special requests are easily accommodated. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Today we ate a doner kebab plate with plenty of salad and chicken schnitzel at the restaurant. In addition to the delicious food, we also received a complimentary aromatic Turkish tea afterwards. We are truly very satisfied. Thank you!

The staff are very friendly, and the food overall tastes very good. However, the fries were too salty, and the taste and orange color indicate that the frying oil should be changed more often. An ayran for €2 is also a bit too expensive. The music is sometimes too loud. Still, highly recommended.

I can say that it is the best döner I have eaten in Germany, it definitely deserves its score.

Usually quite good. My last order was 100% wrong. It came without sauce. My colleague couldn't eat it because of the mayo because she was pregnant. And the third kebab was completely wrong, too. I asked three times. It's a shame. Those almost 30 euros were wasted. Since I got it for my colleagues, I was stuck with the cost. So it went in the trash.

I don't recommend it; the order isn't consistent. It tastes like old meat from two days ago, the vegetables are unbearable, and the sauces have no flavor.

I've been coming here for years and I have to say that the quality and taste of the food always depended on who the owner was. But now, today... I'm totally disappointed. I used to love the kebab on their plate the most - it was number 1 in all of Nuremberg. Unfortunately, that was once the case. Today – a catastrophe. The meat was far too fatty, had a lot of skin and was therefore rubbery. The fries were too greasy, the salad was fine. Oh, I'm really disappointed. The rice was also swimming in fat. Pure waste of money.

Food was quite good. But they had my friend's rating taken down because she only gave it 3 stars... criticism should be handled professionally and not like that.

Delicious kebab. Lots of breads to choose from. Very busy at lunchtime on weekdays. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. There are only a few parking spaces on the street.

Never again. The kebab box was almost empty - no vegetables at all, and the meat was about 50 grams. That's definitely not worth the €6.50. Absolutely disappointing.

When I was there with a friend last fall, the food was okay. Not bad, but nothing special either. I was positive about the selection and the ambience. Unfortunately, we ended up paying €22 for a large fries, kebab plate, ayran and special. Unfortunately we noticed it too late, otherwise we would have asked again. My colleague also wrote this in here, whereupon they demanded that the review be taken out...instead of apologizing for a mistake and that's fine. That says a lot...sorry missed opportunity!

Imagine the motto is “your kebab has received an update” and then you buy a €5 kebab box, the upgrade is that there are no extras except meat, rice/fries and sauce :)

Very tasty kebab, rye bread was really fantastic and the price/performance ratio was also right here. Thanks! Addendum one year later: as is well known, taste can be debated. In my opinion, things used to be much better. Unfortunately this time the bread was quite dry and the salad was too sour and very one-sided for me. I only found the meat quality to be good. What doesn't work for me at all: if I pre-order by phone, pickup was agreed in 15 minutes and then after 30 minutes I have to wait on site for the order to be prepared. But hey, of course there can be a lot going on unexpectedly. But I would have at least expected an apology and a spark of understanding or insight. That's it for me. Too bad!

Solid kebab with a variety of bread to choose from. Vegetables are very fresh. Good for sitting inside and outside, even in larger groups. Unfortunately the last two times it was a bit oversalted, but overall it was tasty.

Actually one of the best kebab shops in the city but it's going down a lot these days. Staff demotivated and apparently overwhelmed. When I arrived, a few customers were already waiting patiently in front of me, waiting for their orders. Everything was delayed because the kebab skewer had to be replaced. That wouldn't be a problem if you understand something like that and then you just wait an extra 10 minutes. However, acquaintances from the staff come in and are first served nicely and are given the food, especially customers who have been waiting for almost 15 minutes. The frustration of the other guests could be seen. Until the buffet, which consisted of several kebab plates and kebabs, was ready, people were sent away again. End of the song, after waiting for over 30 minutes, I finally got my kebab box and a kebab. If they hadn't already cashed in beforehand, I would have gone to another kebab shop. To make matters worse, the people there are so overwhelmed that I was given the wrong food. I ordered roe bread but got normal white bread. I go there mainly because of the rye bread. I also have a good kebab shop around the corner, so I'll probably visit it more often now.

Due to the kitchen renovation, we decided to pay a visit to the “Kebab around the corner”. There are vegetarian options (dürum, kebab) but no vegan options. No, leaving out sheep's cheese and sauces is not a vegan option! It's a shame. The vegetarian falafel kebab was ok, but a little too mildly seasoned for my taste.

Very good quality, kebab skewers are served in the house, various kebab rolls to choose from, corn... etc.

Salad wasn't good. Price performance is actually OK. however for Döner plate, Ayran, large fries and MexxiMix paid 22 euros, although it can't be. Unfortunately we noticed it too late and were no longer able to complain.

Bought two kebabs away from home. A really unfriendly employee makes a kebab without sauce even though he ordered it differently. The return journey would be 12 km, so there is no complaint about it. So far we've had a good price-performance ratio here. This is the second time I've experienced something like this. From now on I'll spend my money elsewhere...

Was my favorite kebab, but was EXTREMELY poor! The two big guys are totally unmotivated and start gossiping (in Turkish?) when they complain. The bread isn't warmed up properly and the sauce was missing from the kebab plate to go. Tables not clean on site. The girl at the checkout could easily clean the tables or is her job just to ask “have you already ordered” and then collect? Only when the slightly older woman and the boy with longer hair or the “boss” are in the store does it taste as it should. I would be happy to edit this review if it gets better. I can understand if it's difficult to find staff, but reducing staff at the expense of quality isn't ideal for anyone.

I think it's a jewel in Nuremberg.. Simply great, great prices, big kebab already given as a gift, just thrilled..

Unfortunately, I found out today that the employees are totally unmotivated and rude. Employees with long hair and/or beards should at least wear protection for hygiene purposes. Furthermore, burnt meat was sold, completely black and dry, so the food was inedible and unfortunately ended up in the trash. I spoke to the boss about this over the phone, but he showed no insight or remorse. End of story, you have lost us as customers.

Unfortunately the quality in this kebab shop has declined significantly. We used to be excited, but in the last few months there have been repeated disappointments. Yesterday we reached the lowest point: the sauce was far too salty, the meat had a strange taste and was anything but fresh. Even the lettuce leaf was partly black. I couldn't finish the meal. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. The employee was extremely unfriendly and created an unpleasant atmosphere. You don't feel comfortable there anymore. We definitely won't eat here again and instead recommend spending your money at another kebab shop.

So good in the past, bad this year!!!! I was now inside and waited for over 20 minutes and then left. Starts with unmotivated employees and ends with unfriendly employees. In addition, the employees have long hair and long beards, something like that is NOT disgusting in the food industry!!! That was the last time I was there! I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR AND LONG TIME CUSTOMER!!

The taste is great, but the kebab breads are always in the oven for too long. Just make sure the bread is softer and not too crispy and everything will be great

I think that Q-bap's kebab is one of the best kebabs I've eaten so far. I used to come regularly just for the cornbread, but unfortunately it was always sold out on my last few visits. It would be nice if you could have a larger quantity of the popular type of bread in stock, then you won't go there for nothing and won't be disappointed... otherwise it's really delicious!

7 people. The menu was not clear.We ordered (by a native German friend), which was difficult since a lot of ingredients were empty (~20:00) but that was still fine. Then when paying we needed to repeat the order... which the guy fully changed because everything was empty. Lots of effort and confusion later, it wasn't correct and needed to be recounted. They then blamed us in a rude way for their own mess. The falafel itself was good. The durum was good. But the bread was dry with only sauce in the last few bites. Overal multiple dissapointments.

Great food, friendly service. The prices are decent, but the quality is good. The inside and outside are starting to get a bit old, but the terrace is still worth its weight in gold.

Always good here at Q-Bap. Quality has been consistently good for years. For me one of the best kebab shops here in Nuremberg. Are there better ones? Serious question. Friendly service, good ingredients, prices had to be raised here too. But at least you know what you're getting here, compared to other shops in Nuremberg. I always enjoy coming here and have never been disappointed. Therefore a clear recommendation! 👍

Richly filled kebab box with juicy meat, spicy cocktail sauce (without ketchup as it should be) and the best fried vegetables in town because A) they don't swim in oil and B) they don't consist of cheap potatoes. It is now my second regular shop when I visit Nuremberg.

I took Big Doner with me. So far ok, just way too much sauce on it.
