One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. Plenty of meat, good sauce, and the bread is homemade and has a great texture. Two thumbs up.

Iskender Kebab...just as I remember it from 1986 in Istanbul, simply delicious, and compared to the mass-produced doner kebabs, the meat is just that...meat, not pulp. Thanks for the delicious food and...the memories. An ayran and a tea later, I'm full and very happy, and I'm happy to pay the reasonable price. First time there, but not the last. A particularly positive aspect: There's plenty of fresh vegetables, and the kebab isn't as greasy as many others. You're full after just three bites – really generous portions! I happened to be in the area and discovered this great kebab shop. I ate a classic kebab in homemade, fluffy, and moist bread. In my opinion, one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten! The high-quality layered meat was juicy, nicely crispy, and by no means dry!

For me, one of the best kebabs in all of Nuremberg (steak). Always fresh, always delicious, and just the right portion. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They even bring the food to your table. I always enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, I go too rarely 🙈, as I no longer live in Nuremberg.

I chose the gemuse doner. Honestly, it was amazing! The meat was delicious, the bun was soft, and the vegetables were fresh. One of the best kebabs I've ever had, on par with the Mustafa kebab in Berlin. Thank you for the tea and juice 🙂 I recommend it to everyone! It seems very expensive to me. Soft drink apple €4, doner kebab €10.

The doner kebab is a solid 4.5; you definitely can't go wrong; the portion is good and tastes good, too. It's just missing that certain something that would make it over the top. These are probably small details. Perhaps more garlic/herbs in the sauce, perhaps a bit more flavorful vegetables, I can't say. Just nitpicking. But the price of €10 for a doner kebab skews the 4.5 towards a 4 rather than a 5...but I'll still come more often and follow the development.

The taste of the kebab was very good. Unfortunately, I still think the price for a normal kebab is €9 and for a 0.5l CocaCola the price is absolutely not appropriate.

I was just there and ate a kebab plate with noodles and salad. It wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't that bad either. Had a Coke Zero with it. I'm happy to pay money for good food. But 19 euros goes a little too far. That's not a fair price. It's a shame. The boys are actually quite nice there. But because of the price I won't eat there again.

The bread is very fresh and so is the meat. The sauces are varied.

We went to Kebab Sarayi with a big group, and every single one of us loved it! The quality of the food is honestly far better than many expensive restaurants in the city. The grilled meats were cooked to perfection, juicy, flavorful, and simply delicious. They also serve fresh, homemade bread that takes everything to the next level. The service was friendly and attentive. If you're looking for amazing food in Nuremberg, I can highly recommend Kebab Sarayi.

The service is very friendly and my Urfa Dürüm was also very tasty. The place is also very clean. However, I find it too expensive in terms of price, which is why I deducted 1 star (21 euros for an Urfa Dürüm and two 0.5l Cola). Otherwise really great and recommended! A little meat but a lot of money

I ate a Dürüm kebab with veal here. I was served in a friendly manner. The kebab was prepared with fresh ingredients and brought to my table, which unfortunately is often no longer a given these days. The kebab was quite good. The meat was a little lacking in taste, but OK. You can add more seasoning if you want. I would give this a 4. What's particularly worth mentioning is that you can get the cay here for free.

Super delicious and you can also get hot tea free of charge.

The name “Big Döner” is well deserved here. The kebab was really big and had a lot of meat in it. And the vegetables weren't really stingy either. I can fully accept the price/performance ratio. The guys are very friendly, but the veal kebab is nowhere near what it used to be. The meat can no longer be eaten; it is tough, dry and tasteless. That's why we unfortunately don't eat there anymore.

Kelle paça soup is actually meat soup. Even though I specifically asked, they persistently said head and foot. But it doesn't matter. Contrary to its appearance, İskerder döner was tasteless and burnt. The sauce is predominantly closer to tomato paste. I waited more than 15 minutes for a cup of tea after dinner. I got up without drinking.

For me one of the best kebab shops in my hometown! A large selection of dishes and everything prepared fresh and pleasing to the eye! Friendly service is the order of the day here and you get something for your money! You can take all the food with you or enjoy it inside and out!

Always friendly and I know what I want to order as soon as I walk in, including any special requests. Food always tastes delicious too. The fact that I always have to say hello to my family also makes the relationship with the employees particularly good. Overall everything is always great. As a tip: card payment is not possible. But the savings bank is right around the corner.

Bad service and overpriced!!!!!!! I was absolutely disappointed with my last visit. Charging 15 euros for a kebab plate and then not even asking what I want on it is a disaster in terms of price-performance. Afterwards, the employee even tried to take my plate away to remove the fries! Such behavior is unacceptable. The previous owners and the food back then were worlds better. This store has unfortunately deteriorated greatly, both in terms of service and quality. I definitely won't come here again in the future. Too bad!

The Big Doner is very good!! The meat, the roll and the side dishes were very well balanced and seasoned very well. Also the minced meat pide, very good. I can only recommend this restaurant, the seating and the ambience are also very appealing. Gladly, again and again and keep it up. 👍👍👍

Bad customer service. My boyfriend had to wait 25+ minutes for his order. He asked a couple of times when it would come and they said he would get it soon. Then the customers behind him got their Döner first, which was the exact same. Again, when he asked, they did not give him any explanation why they would prioritise the later placed order. After that, he left and got the Döner in a different restaurant and we are not planning to coming back anytime soon.

The value of customers is not treated with respect, the more money they earn, the greedier they become.

My husband picked up food at 10pm today. We had chicken with rice, minced meat skewers with rice, bread, tzatziki. Bread and tzatziki were good. Unfortunately the rest was not edible. I have never eaten such bad Turkish food. Maybe had a bad day?

can you eat, portions are ok, My stepfather made the bean soup with veal, it gave more flavor and was also very weak. Ordered veal döneg, got dry beef, the few fries were soggy, salad was good. Unfortunately the kebab came too quickly and was of course cold. overall very slack, there's a decent portion of spicy missing from everything, why a dead douse then comes to the table as an idol of fat change ;-)

The food was delicious. Both the Mercimek soup (warmed in the microwave) and the Yaprak plate were well seasoned and the meat was almost free of cartilage and tendons. Unfortunately the price is not right here. I'm happy to spend money for good performance. But not with self-service! That's why everything is overpriced.

I paid a total of €11 for a falafel kebab (falafel INSTEAD of meat or INSTEAD of grilled vegetables of course) + 1 ayran. Where does this price come from when the vegetarian kebab actually costs €7 and I only replaced the fried vegetables with falafel??? The falafel was obviously frozen, as is the case in most stores, but how does this price of €11 come together? The operator was visibly annoyed when I entered, I remained friendly because I understand that you can simply have a bad day. But charging me €11 (potentially out of frustration) is simply fraud and simply not good treatment of people. After reading other reviews, I can only agree. Anyone who doesn't fit into the world view is treated unequally, it's a shame that this xenophobia exists, all the kebab shops I've visited so far have served every customer with the same amount of respect, behavior like that in this shop is simply a weak character.

Tasty kebab at a reasonable price, the meat is not dry and the bouquet of vegetables is rich, I recommend trying it. The only drawback is that the sauces are not expressive.

With distance! The best kebab in Nuremberg. The service, all in all, is brilliant here. And I tried every Turkish restaurant in Nuremberg and the surrounding area.

We arrived about 1.5 hours before closing time, there was only a little meat left, but it was just enough for two kebabs, the taste was OK, we don't have to do it again, the bread/wrap is homemade there and was the only highlight. Service good. Parking was terrible, we found something further away on the side of the road. The shop can be reached via a few steps and is level inside (accessible for disabled people). Lots of seats. Doner and grilled meat dishes. Very expensive in terms of price, €8 for a kebab. In total we paid €26 for 2 OKEY kebabs, 2 drinks and 1 dry & tasteless "Halka Tatli". We don't like coming back here.

Until recently I really enjoyed going to this kebab shop because it simply tasted good and you rarely had to wait long. Until today (April 6th), I actually always found the service to be very nice and you felt really comfortable there. Unfortunately, I no longer like the shop at all, as you are obviously being looked at, flirted with and even asked if you are interested in marrying a colleague from there because he needs German citizenship. That didn't work at all!
