Good food at a reasonable price. Friendly service and quick food preparation.

Very good service, different types of noodles to choose from. Some children's meals don't cost anything (I've never experienced this before). And still relatively cheap.

The ambience and the menu are appealing. Unfortunately, despite numerous employees, we had to wait quite a long time for our food. Unfortunately, some of the cutlery wasn't really clean. The high chair, the changing table, the area under and on the tables were dirty. The paper in the toilet was not refilled. Our pasta dishes also used far too much oil for our taste. The food was rather mediocre, we have eaten much better at other Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, we wouldn't call it traditional Italian cuisine. Maybe we just had a bad day yesterday. But we won't be coming back.

After waiting for almost an hour, we asked when we could expect the two pizzas. Although there were only a few tables occupied and guests who arrived after us had already finished eating, the service man found our request surprising. After 90 minutes (!) I got a Tartufo pizza. It was topped with a few wobbly slices of truffles that had obviously come from the jar, and the announced fresh basil was missing. Convenience product? No idea, but unfortunately for me it's the worst tartuf pizza I've ordered so far. By the way, the place is quite nice, with a view of a small marina. The interior of the store is also successful and is somewhat reminiscent of the industrial used look of L'Osteria, which has its business better under control.

Service was totally overwhelmed even though the restaurant was normally full. The neighboring table hasn't been cleared for 35 minutes even though people have left a long time ago. It took 40 minutes for the order to even be taken (supposedly shift handover according to demand) Food came after 15 minutes, that's ok. Taste, price/performance appropriate. Positive mentions include the children's play area and children up to 6 years of age eating and drinking for free in the restaurant.

The Purino on Gelsenkirchen's harbor basin is beautifully located and the restaurant's interior is attractive. Yesterday I felt like pasta and there were only 4 dishes among the meat pastas. I find that lean and so I couldn't find a dish that I liked. So I ate a pizza with tuna, mozzarella and garlic sauce. Instead of mushrooms I asked for salami. The service person explained to me in a very complicated manner that this would require an additional charge. I expected that. It seemed to me as if it wasn't welcome if the a la carte dishes were changed. The pizza tasted good but just that, a pizza. In terms of value for money, we went out with drinks well. I didn't feel like I paid too much for the quality. Finally, I would like to suggest adding some baked dishes, such as lasagne etc., to the menu in order to expand the meat dishes a little. Even a simple pasta Bolognese can help.

The ambience is a bit simple but that didn't bother us. We were there with 16 people. Everyone was happy with the freshly prepared food. The 5 year old child got a small pizza for free. The small children's drinks also cost nothing for the older children. A pleasant contrast to some restaurants where children pay like adults. Recommended!

The food is really top. The portions are something to fill you up. The location at the harbor and the friendly and service-oriented service complete the deal. There is also a large parking lot behind the house. Conclusion: I can absolutely recommend it! 👍😉

Absolutely happy with this place, dogs (very)friendly, pasta and pizza delicious, a great plus - small kids get food for free and they can entertain themselves in kids corner. The best was though the service - June was absolutely outstanding and took great care of us and our dogs. Thank you!

We had ordered a table for 4 people yesterday at 7.30 p.m. and were there early. The first setback was the information that you could only reserve tables inside and so we were taken inside despite the warm weather. After about 30 minutes someone came to take our order and the drinks and appetizer came relatively quickly. To our surprise, the waitress came and offered us a table outside, which we gladly accepted due to the extreme noise. Then we waited a good 1.5 hours for our food and when we asked, the service either didn't come back or they kept their fingers crossed that it would come soon. When it finally came, we were offered a coffee as compensation, at least. The food was OK but the surcharge that followed wasn't even worth it. Since it was now 10:25 p.m. when we got back to our cars, we noticed that there were parking tickets on our cars because you are not allowed to park anywhere after 10 p.m. The information in the restaurant was missing and we no longer had it on our radar at all. The food is good, as is the location, but unfortunately the surroundings took a negative toll on it.

Very tasty food. Large portions of pasta. Nice location overlooking the harbor. Friendly waiters. Lots of outside seating. Toilet was clean. Otherwise everything was defective. Soap dispenser empty. Refill pack was lying around there (unusable). Towel dispenser empty. The refill roll was at the sink and the lower third was already full of water. That was really disgusting.

Unfortunately the staff is very inattentive. When we arrived we were standing at the entrance as ordered and not picked up. You are assigned a place. At some point I spoke to someone and was given a seat. Here we waited 10 minutes for the card. Then an eternity to place the order. Unfortunately, the food arrived very late for 7 people one after the other. Two were already eating while others still had to wait. We weren't given cutlery until then. We just did it ourselves. Salt and pepper were also not available, so we had to ask the staff. Look, drinks didn't come until we all had our food on the table. Maybe just because I asked again. Unfortunately, this is not a pleasant experience. The pizza could have been hotter and the gorgonzola ravioli spicier. In the end it was only the one waiter who took the money and said goodbye to us in a really friendly way. Otherwise I wouldn't have given it 3 stars.

Food was good as always! The atmosphere was simply a disaster! This was certainly also due to the fact that there was a loud group of children there. These were not in the designated area for playing, but rather spread out on both sides of the restaurant. Communication was actually only possible by shouting and that at a table of four! The first time that the food was served before the drinks... a drink we ordered didn't arrive at all and was then canceled by us. Unfortunately there are no acoustic measures to improve this situation... Unfortunately it was the last time we were there for dinner... unfortunately an annoying and expensive evening. Today we went to Purino in Stölting Hafen in Gelsenkirchen for the first time as a family with our two girls. We were greeted very friendly and were seated immediately. The menu is very varied and there is something for everyone. The service is exceptionally attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable. What was special for us was that children up to 6 years old eat and drink for free. Children aged 7 to 12 pay a lower price. We've never heard of this before in any restaurant. The food was very tasty. The boss also lends a hand here. Our conclusion: - Very attentive and friendly service - Good card - Food very tasty - We will be back definitely

Service takes time due to communication between waiters

That was definitely our last visit as a family. Our order was only taken after 20 minutes. We waited about 60 minutes for our food. I can understand that you have to wait, but that long? Never again! The only good thing is the ambience. Absolutely not recommended especially if you have small children!!

We went to Purino for the first time this week. The food was really good but we also have two three points that we didn't like at all: The knives are way too blunt! Cutting the pizza was really a pain. Then it took a really long time for the drinks to arrive and for the payment to be made at the end. It was also a very loud background noise. Additionally, louder background music was turned on at the end. A bit exhausting.

Ambience is of course always a matter of taste, but we really liked the Mediterranean industrial look. The food (we had a bowl and pasta) was very tasty. Price-performance fits. Well, drinks are shockingly expensive everywhere these days, and this is no exception. The service was friendly, but still a bit inexperienced. We sat like that for a good half hour without dessert or a drink after we had mastered the main course. When we saw someone we gave up and paid straight away. But that will definitely come into play. But it would be helpful if the staff were easier to recognize. The t-shirt look is like a camouflage suit. Nevertheless, we would love to come back.

Service: We sat outside and not all areas were open due to the weather. In my opinion, the waitress could have stopped by outside more often. You had to wait a long time to order drinks. Likewise, the appetizers and children's pizzas came before our drinks. That's always somehow inconvenient. Food: We really enjoyed the food. Prices for adults are reasonable in this day and age and what you get. Children's prices (free up to 6, cheaper up to 12) are great. Enough vegetarian dishes to choose from.

A great restaurant that we have visited many times. So far only for pizza and this time we were there for the pasta. We had to wait a long time to order because we probably weren't noticed. And this despite the fact that others around could order. Then the two of us ordered shandy and it was only beers. Then they actually wanted to give us a sprite to go with it, which was only possible with several requests. Then there was the chosen pasta tagliatelle "ribbon noodles" with our dish, which weren't even cooked yet. Wasn't even in that state that we like to eat. So don't go through it too much. But they were almost hard and difficult to enjoy. In addition, when they make it themselves, the dough wasn't rolled out really thin. The orders for our dishes were also not implemented. Even then, only with several questions, to several employees. Still tastes good, but with a lot of difficulties.

I was at PURiNO with 3 friends. We ordered pasta twice and two pizzas. I had the pizza with half spicy salami and half tuna. It was our first visit there. The service was great and I can say that the pizza was really good and tasty. However, a friend's noodles were unfortunately very coated in oil, making them barely edible. Unfortunately, we found out that the boss or shift manager on site had a "dispute" with an employee who he addressed in front of the guests. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere for us. While the employees seemed relaxed and relaxed, the tension on the part of the boss or shift manager was clearly noticeable and affected the ambience somewhat.

We've been to Stölting-Harbor several times, but never to Purino: So we ended our holiday there with 5 people! The food is very good, everything is fresh and the portions are generous. The pizza is very tasty, there are unusual toppings pre-configured here, which you can also choose half and half. For around €16 you can get a very large pizza, for example with salmon and truffle cream. The pasta is also great and definitely fills you up. The service was a bit confusing at one point (temporary help) and then one of the friendliest I had experienced ;)

A good restaurant in the harbor of Gelsenkirchen. When the weather is good you can sit outside very nicely. It is often very busy and the service therefore seems a bit overwhelmed. It's best to order everything as soon as the waiter or waitress first appears, as repeat orders can take an extremely long time. A re-ordered beer only came after dessert and a re-order of the dessert together with the requested bill... generally speaking, the stay at Purino can take a long time due to the slowness of the service!

It took an hour for us to order and another hour for the main course to arrive. The pizza tasted very dry and there was hardly any cheese on it, just a few crumbs. Even a frozen pizza from the supermarket has a lot more toppings and more cheese. The prices are outrageous and brazen. The base of my pizza was burnt and the service was worse than a chip shop. Don't go here!!!

I ordered a tuna pizza with onions and a pizza funghi for my companion. It took at least 15-20 minutes until we were asked for our order. The pizzas arrived after 40 minutes and were sparsely topped and I had to ask different service staff three times to be able to pay. It took 30 minutes until I could finally pay. This has never happened to me at any other restaurant in my life. The price was also steep and the service staff was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. Also, the tables weren't particularly clean. I will never eat here again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances. Even in a kebab shop at the main train station there is better service and better hygiene.

I've already eaten there 3 times. The food (except for the pizzas that are far too dry and sparsely topped), the location and the decor of the restaurant are very nice. However, the service is so bad and hasn't changed even after months that it was the last time I was there. You often only get drinks after asking two or three times, because they are “forgotten”, the employees hiss at each other when the workload is high (especially outside) and seem constantly stressed and unfriendly. As already mentioned, this has been the case on almost every visit to this restaurant. All in all, it's a shame because it has so much more potential!

Nice Italian restaurant right at the harbor. In summer you can sit outside by the water. So far I've only eaten pasta, but it was very good. What is absolutely worth highlighting here is the children's play area. Rarely seen in restaurants, but it's a life changer. We all know that children are impatient and don't like to wait. This is how you can pass the time there, absolutely great 👍🏼

Next drawback: men's toilet... Everything full of urine. Empty paper and soap for hands. Dry towels were scattered all over the place. Extremely dirty and unkempt. We were always very enthusiastic, but unfortunately the service and cleanliness deteriorated significantly.

Very nice restaurant with friendly and attentive service. The food is excellent and you can tell that the ingredients come from our own factory. The view of the Bismarck harbor is also very beautiful, inviting you to take a leisurely walk before or after your meal.

This was my 2nd visit within 2 weeks. Which suggests we were happy with the 1st. We received drinks, a starter, a main course and a dessert. The waiter was extremely friendly and always available. Unfortunately, the second dessert was not complete (egg liqueur foam was missing, crumble was missing) and I reported this to the waiter. He was very understanding and wanted to give the kitchen team feedback. After a short while, a man dressed in civilian clothes came to our table, threw crumble from a small bowl onto my dessert and "slapped" the eggnog foam onto my friend's dessert in a canteen style. He slammed the half-full bowl of new foam onto the table with the words: "I'll just leave it here then you can make it yourself." We were both dumbfounded and speechless. I have never experienced such outrageous, disrespectful behavior towards paying customers. And I worked in the catering industry myself for a long time. The waiter who served us the whole time told us that this was one of the bosses. I think the extremely friendly authentic waiter deserves a big, big, fat raise!!!! Unfortunately, the boss has a big loss (also on his karma account). This was the last visit to Purino for the time being, which could easily have been one of my favorite addresses.

The only thing that didn't work was the boss or shift manager yesterday. He pampered his employees in front of the guests. You do not do that . We were there on Saturday and it was busy... when we wanted to order we were told it could take up to 30 minutes... that wasn't a problem for us. Not bad but there is mostly just pizza. I was just there for a relative's birthday and I prefer a restaurant that serves real food. What's really positive there is that it's child-friendly with great service.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed today. We received appetizers and drinks quite quickly. We waited about 75 minutes for the main course without success, even after repeated requests. Finally we left the restaurant without dinner. The waiter's comment: nice weather, outdoor terrace open for the first time this year,… I can't understand this justification, the nice weather was announced several days in advance and when the outside terrace is open, you should be prepared for a lot of guests to sit down. The boss's comment: The food shouldn't be served so late. I can't justify this... At least we were offered the (not yet finished) food free of charge. We didn't accept it because we didn't want to wait any longer. We didn't have to pay for the drinks or appetizer. The Purino has been removed from our list and I cannot recommend it. So I'm taking all my stars back (even the actually nice ambience was no longer worth anything because it got dark and cold at a late hour).

We have eaten here countless times. For us, this is the best and tastiest pizza in the area. Children eat free here and I find it really child-friendly and customer-oriented. The restaurant is beautifully located at the harbor in Gelsenkirchen and you can also easily cycle there. And the employees are all very friendly and one or two are ready for a short small talk. Ordered food at 7:30 p.m. and still no food at 9:15 p.m. If you ask, the food will come in 5 minutes...😂😂 every 5 minutes since 8:30 p.m.... So if you have 3 hours to eat and are hungry, this is a real flop.

Yesterday we reserved a table for 6 p.m., ordered the food at 6:15 p.m., It was then brought at 7:10 p.m. and the pizzas were cold. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied.

Very tasty, unfortunately it always takes a long time for the food to arrive or the service for drinks to arrive. On each of the 3 visits I always had to wait 1 hour for the food, even if it wasn't very busy.

Obwohl wir einen Tisch reserviert hatten, mussten wir an der Tür warten bis jemand auf uns zu kam. Nach der Reservierung wurde ebenfalls nicht gefragt, sondern es wird spontan geschaut wo Platz ist. Nachdem wir die Getränke und Vorspeise bekommen hatten wurden wir gefragt ob wir nicht auf einen 2er Platz möchten, okay klingt fair, jedoch war man zwischen Menschen eingepfercht. Die Lautstärke in dem Restaurant ist extrem, man konnte sich nicht normal unterhalten, generell wirkt es so als würde man versuchen so viele Leute wie möglich in das Restaurant zu stopfen. Dadurch ist die Lautstärke unerträglich und es herrscht ein permanentes Gewirr, was wirklich störend ist. Das Restaurant ist sehr kinderfreundlich, was aber auch bedeutet, das man sich zum Teil wie in einer KITA-Kantine vorkommt. Das Essen war gut, durch den Lärm und die hektische Atmosphäre waren wir allerdings froh als wir wieder draußen waren. Es gibt einfach zu viele bessere Alternativen zu dem Restaurant, darum war das unser erster und letzter Besuch. Wartezeit zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang ca. 1h.

The service was very inattentive. Friendly, but not accommodating in any way. The ambience was acoustically unbearable, at least for me. So it's too loud and it's almost impossible to communicate with the architecture. Many in my group saw it that way too. The waiting time was relatively long... it still worked. But the food came to the table lukewarm...for everyone. The pizza was not crispy or browned. The meat (scallopine) was extremely thinly sliced ​​and very, very dry after roasting. The Chardonnay sauce could hardly be called a sauce, it was just a clear liquid that also had little to do with Chardonnay. The vegetables for the scallopine were relatively tasteless...so they only had their own flavor. The rosemary potatoes had a somewhat imaginary illusion of a homeopathic rosemary taste. As others have written here, there was a lot of staff running around, but it was kind of chaotic. When asked for the invoice they simply said: "I'll let my colleague know." Which then took minutes until someone came. Our little pizza takeaway around the corner delivers a lot more quality and service. Conclusion: never again in this form
