If you come from outside, poor signage and parking spaces are rare. Sunday late afternoon, 4:30 p.m. Service was courteous and quick. Ambiance, modern, partly worn seats/backs of the chairs, not necessarily comfortable. Menu has had better days and sticks. Huge pizza that tasted bland and had nothing special for me. You can quickly lose a lot of money there if you don't read the menu properly

We usually stop there on our way back from the Centro. The dishes are ok, nothing exceptional. Every time, however, we are surprised at the poor service: it takes too long before drinks are taken and if you are lucky, you are served drinks again. Despite sufficient staff, who with a few exceptions seem as if they don't want to work, glasses remain empty and people walk past tables that are no longer occupied without clearing anything away. The other Purino restaurants (Rheydt, Hardter Wald) do a better job.

Super delicious food, we'll be back. If you like your food very strongly seasoned, you will have to season the food to your taste with salt and pepper as well as chili oil or garlic oil, but there is enough of it available. Our children were all more than thrilled and we didn't have to pay for a drink or a meal for the children.

A very cozy atmosphere and very friendly, courteous staff. Due to a technical problem in the kitchen, we had to wait - actually unnoticed by us, but the nice waiter pointed it out to us - a few minutes longer for our food, but we made up for it with a dessert on the house :) The food was very good and plentiful. Were there during the week, no waiting time despite the store being full! Ambience is very nice (see picture) except that the volume of the shop is quite loud, but it is acceptable. You feel very comfortable! The service was very good, motivated and friendly employees. For that reason alone I would come again. The food was also very good, large portions and good value for money. Unfortunately I'm missing something more “exotic” but that's a matter of taste! Would definitely come again! 🎀

We were there on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy. We didn't wait half an hour for the food we ordered, even though we were there with a larger group. In addition, the service always checked whether anyone needed drinks, etc. the staff was very friendly. I had gluten-free pasta with pesto, the dish was very tasty and the food arrived warm at the table.

We went to Purino Gelsenkirchen for the first time today and were thrilled. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, and there is also a cool children's play area. Then we were asked about our grandson's age. And then we heard that Children up to 6 years of age eat and drink there completely free of charge. If this isn't a super child and family friendly concept. The service was outstanding, the food was really tasty and the portions were large. Everything is rounded off by a good price-performance ratio. We will definitely be regular customers.

The pizza was huge but unfortunately tasteless. The shrimp tasted like nothing. The pizza was overflowing with arugula and also relatively dry. The bruschetta, on the other hand, was very spicy and tasty. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a Christmassy feel. Service was attentive and quick.

The food was really very good and a little more unusual than you might be used to. However, the visually appealing ambience is acoustically rather difficult and very loud, so it is difficult to have a good conversation. A small downer was the service at the beginning: we were taken to our seats and then we had to wait 30 minutes until we were actively spoken to (unfortunately we had to get up and go there). We were served extremely friendly, but if we were offered coffee as compensation, some flexibility would be nice: 4 guests, a free espresso, tea and cola had to be paid for (one person was pregnant and the others don't drink coffee... that's annoying) Otherwise a good restaurant 👍🏻

We were here with a group and the restaurant impressed us. The dishes tasted very good and the service from the friendly staff was also remarkable. Even though we were the last guests during the week, we never had the impression that they wanted to get rid of us.

Great food at great prices! A great place for families with a play area for smaller children and menus and prices for children! Service could be improved slightly that day because the employee seemed overwhelmed. The loose back supports provide flexibility for seating on the benches, but with 3 adults on one bench is too cramped.

We went to Purino for the first time today and are very satisfied. The ambience is nice and inviting, the service was attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the food and drinks. We particularly liked the children's play area, which made our stay very pleasant for us as moms. A small negative point was that the stares from some other guests bothered us because of our somewhat louder babies, we can hardly tape our babies' mouths shut 😉 - but that has nothing to do with Purino itself. All in all we were very satisfied, the price-performance ratio is great. We'd love to come back!

The main course wasn't that great, there was pizza with very little toppings except for the rocket, which didn't skimp on anything, and also called for fettucine with salmon, fettucine more than al dente and slightly floury in taste, salmon a bit dry, crunchy cherry tomatoes overcooked. Dessert was super delicious tartufo and torrone. Service very friendly and quick. Locally in an industrial style a bit loud. We will come back but only for dessert.

The food was absolutely fine and the portions were more than sufficient. For example, you can save the decoration on tiramisu and I wouldn't need any cream. The ambience looks cool, but it is quite loud and somehow confusing. For me, the biggest point of criticism was the service: uncoordinated, without proper arrangements, everything quite hectic and not very confident. And at the two tables next to us, orders were taken by the waiter through the bars that served as room dividers - seriously?! You don't want to communicate with each other through a grid like that! Overall everything is ok, but with weaknesses.

We went for dinner on a Sunday around lunchtime. When we came it was relatively uncrowded. We sat in the children's corner, which made for a much more relaxed meal for us adults. The children's corner could just be spruced up a bit -> seems a bit careless. The food (both pizza, pasta, salad, carpaccio) were very tasty. It was also very clean. One drawback is the noise, which became really unpleasant with more guests, so we left promptly. But all in all, the shop is highly recommended and we will come back.

Beautiful location at the harbor, reservation recommended - children's play area great, children under 6 eat and drink for free - absolutely brilliant! The Purino in Gelsenkirchen is a really great address. Right at the harbor marina, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the water. This is a blast, especially in summer! The atmosphere is simply great and you immediately feel at home when you are there. The pizzas and pasta are amazing. Everything is freshly made, you can taste it straight away. The portions are decent, so no one will go home hungry. Especially the pizza, which is huge and really tasty. The pasta doesn't come from bad parents either, beautifully al dente, with delicious sauces and made in-house! The service is also great, the people are friendly and quick. You don't have to wait long until your food is on the table. Some say the starters could be a bit bigger, but hey, the quality is good and the atmosphere is just cozy. The prices are also okay, not too expensive and you really get something for your money. The desserts in particular are a highlight, so you can treat yourself to something. So if you're up for good Italian cuisine in a relaxed environment, head to Purino! Whether with friends, family or your sweetheart, you can't go wrong. And if you have a special occasion, this is also a great location.

I was already impressed by the starters: the bruschetta, the tuffo di aglio, the avocado mango tartare and the Pepe Dip were all delicious and creatively prepared. The main course was served perfectly hot and cooked to perfection. Salt, pepper, garlic and peperoncino were of course available - simply great! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and invites you to linger. I definitely recommend reserving a table in advance because this restaurant is absolutely popular - and rightly so! A very special thank you goes to the restaurant manager Fabio, who takes the service to a new level. He even refilled my drink without asking. More service is not possible! I can recommend Purino to everyone with a clear conscience. Everything is just right here!

A very nice atmosphere. Most of the staff are courteous and nice. A service worker falls off the grid and should reconsider his career choice. Politeness should always come first, even when it's very busy.

Assessment is based on a visit as a person suffering from celiac disease: Unfortunately, a restaurant that must be considered absolutely unsuitable in terms of safe, gluten-free food. It's particularly a shame because the card promises something different at first glance. Different statements from the waiters regarding the statement "gluten-free pasta / unsuitable for celiac disease", which actually couldn't be more contradictory. Dishes are sometimes labeled incorrectly on the menu (starter including gluten-containing stone-oven bread is labeled as gluten-free), gluten-free dishes are contaminated by the presentation form (mozzarella on a wooden board with deep grooves) and the salad, which is actually labeled as gluten-free (without it being on the menu and even though). Celiac disease has already been named!) served including baguette and fried onions. Unfortunately, I felt extremely unsafe during my visit and, as mentioned above, I also received various information from the service staff. On the positive side, it should be noted that the dishes themselves still taste good, although this should be viewed as secondary in terms of health. It's a real shame because the menu, including gluten-free pasta and the supposed label with the crossed-out ear of wheat, promised much more. With this experience, you will unfortunately not be able to visit Purino again as a person suffering from celiac disease.

So I can't understand some of the bad reviews at all. Super friendly, attentive service, very cozy atmosphere with a magical view and my salmon noodles including salad were very delicious. I found the price-performance ratio very reasonable! The pasta was homemade, the salmon was fried to perfection, and the salad was served with very tasty, crusty bread. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will be happy to come back. Thank you for everything! Keep it up!

Quite a small menu, but very good food. Pizza and pasta were very tasty. We were there with 8 people and everyone enjoyed it. Only the dessert wasn't a hit. The ice cream had already melted heavily on the plate and the cream was warm. Although it wasn't particularly warm that day. Very nice service, always funny and fun to have. On weekends in summer it is very crowded there and the waiting times are correspondingly long.

Was there twice and didn't have such great experiences twice. The salmon in my pasta was totally dry and burnt. The pasta, on the other hand, was delicious, homemade according to the menu, definitely my taste! The service seemed very stressed. Of course I feel sorry for the staff if they have to work under such conditions. The cherry on the crown was my dessert “Chocolate mousse garnished with chopped pistachios and strawberries” - I would rather call it chocolate mousse garnished with chopped pistachios and two slices of strawberries. The place is huge and the background noise is huge; there's little you can do about that. Nicely decorated, food came quickly and prices are reasonable. Solid 3!

First we had to listen to a never-ending lecture about the restaurant's non-functional seating management, after we had reserved a window seat and sat down at the only available window seat, after waiting for minutes at the door - "then we had to "We'll just wait until someone comes," they said. This time, as on previous occasions, the most expensive ingredient listed was missing from the meal. Previously, on several visits, it was the walnuts in the Gorgonzola sauce - this time it was the truffle oil. The fake, fake friendliness of the service seems inauthentic and annoying. Even though the store was moderately busy, it was again so noisy, and the employees who served us were so bored and annoyed (at least that's how they gave the guests the impression) that we decided not to bother with it for the price.

Reservations via Opentable will not be accepted if they are not made at least 1 day in advance. Lt. Restaurant manager, who points to his great 5 years of professional experience in the catering industry and sends young girls forward, says the kitchen is overloaded and he would make use of his house rules. We should go. The restaurant management should think about the choice of words. We are neither colleagues nor supplicants. Guests after us were spoken to so stupidly that it almost escalated. Who is supposed to understand that when tables are free, can be reserved and you are stupidly reprimanded that you probably didn't understand the point of a reservation.

Waited an hour for food and it still didn't come. Of course we then got up. Eating just takes too long and the second visit was the same.

Nudeln trocken- Soße war mit der Lupe kaum zu finden. Dessert falsch , kann passieren- sollte aber in dem Fall einer Unverträglichkeit von div Lebensmittel nicht passieren. Wartezeit zu lang. Komme nicht wieder.

Restaurant was very nice and well maintained. Service was catastrophic. Waited half an hour for drinks even though the restaurant wasn't even remotely full. When asked several times, they said everything was ready at the counter. After another half hour and asked again, the drinks arrived. Not to recommend the service

We've eaten here several times and only decided to give a review this fourth time. We are by no means convinced of the pizza because of the dough. We have tried several types of pasta and each time they are far too hard, which is really not aldente. The dish 'prawns with cream curry' was more of an end. It wasn't creamy at all, it just tasted dry like curry. In my opinion the 'prawns' are SHRIMPS - a joke for the price.. A few waiters are fine, but there are also some who should work on their tone.

The ambience and the menu are appealing. Unfortunately, despite numerous employees, we had to wait quite a long time for our food. Unfortunately, some of the cutlery wasn't really clean. The high chair, the changing table, the area under and on the tables were dirty. The paper in the toilet was not refilled. Our pasta dishes also used far too much oil for our taste. The food was rather mediocre, we have eaten much better at other Italian restaurants. Unfortunately, we wouldn't call it traditional Italian cuisine. Maybe we just had a bad day yesterday. But we won't be coming back.

Service was totally overwhelmed even though the restaurant was normally full. The neighboring table hasn't been cleared for 35 minutes even though people have left a long time ago. It took 40 minutes for the order to even be taken (supposedly shift handover according to demand) Food came after 15 minutes, that's ok. Taste, price/performance appropriate. Positive mentions include the children's play area and children up to 6 years of age eating and drinking for free in the restaurant.

After waiting for almost an hour, we asked when we could expect the two pizzas. Although there were only a few tables occupied and guests who arrived after us had already finished eating, the service man found our request surprising. After 90 minutes (!) I got a Tartufo pizza. It was topped with a few wobbly slices of truffles that had obviously come from the jar, and the announced fresh basil was missing. Convenience product? No idea, but unfortunately for me it's the worst tartuf pizza I've ordered so far. By the way, the place is quite nice, with a view of a small marina. The interior of the store is also successful and is somewhat reminiscent of the industrial used look of L'Osteria, which has its business better under control.

The Purino on Gelsenkirchen's harbor basin is beautifully located and the restaurant's interior is attractive. Yesterday I felt like pasta and there were only 4 dishes among the meat pastas. I find that lean and so I couldn't find a dish that I liked. So I ate a pizza with tuna, mozzarella and garlic sauce. Instead of mushrooms I asked for salami. The service person explained to me in a very complicated manner that this would require an additional charge. I expected that. It seemed to me as if it wasn't welcome if the a la carte dishes were changed. The pizza tasted good but just that, a pizza. In terms of value for money, we went out with drinks well. I didn't feel like I paid too much for the quality. Finally, I would like to suggest adding some baked dishes, such as lasagne etc., to the menu in order to expand the meat dishes a little. Even a simple pasta Bolognese can help.

The ambience is a bit simple but that didn't bother us. We were there with 16 people. Everyone was happy with the freshly prepared food. The 5 year old child got a small pizza for free. The small children's drinks also cost nothing for the older children. A pleasant contrast to some restaurants where children pay like adults. Recommended!

Absolutely happy with this place, dogs (very)friendly, pasta and pizza delicious, a great plus - small kids get food for free and they can entertain themselves in kids corner. The best was though the service - June was absolutely outstanding and took great care of us and our dogs. Thank you!

We had ordered a table for 4 people yesterday at 7.30 p.m. and were there early. The first setback was the information that you could only reserve tables inside and so we were taken inside despite the warm weather. After about 30 minutes someone came to take our order and the drinks and appetizer came relatively quickly. To our surprise, the waitress came and offered us a table outside, which we gladly accepted due to the extreme noise. Then we waited a good 1.5 hours for our food and when we asked, the service either didn't come back or they kept their fingers crossed that it would come soon. When it finally came, we were offered a coffee as compensation, at least. The food was OK but the surcharge that followed wasn't even worth it. Since it was now 10:25 p.m. when we got back to our cars, we noticed that there were parking tickets on our cars because you are not allowed to park anywhere after 10 p.m. The information in the restaurant was missing and we no longer had it on our radar at all. The food is good, as is the location, but unfortunately the surroundings took a negative toll on it.

Super Essen, tolles Ambiente aber ein bodenloser Service. Der ganz lustige Kellner (Sarkasmus) benötigt 20 Minuten, bis er die Bestellung aufnimmt. Dann dauert es 30 Minuten, bis das Essen ankommt und wenn man zahlen möchte, muss man mindestens 20 Minuten einkalkulieren, bis jemand kommt. Dazu waren die Toiletten schmutzig und es gab kein Toilettenpapier. Das Essen war super! Leider wirkt sich der schlechte Service so unfassbar negativ auf die Kunden aus, dass die gute Arbeit aus der Küche total untergeht. Aufgrund der Leistung des Kellners und den nicht ganz so tollen WCs wird das mit Sicherheit der letzte Besuch gewesen sein.

Unfortunately the staff is very inattentive. When we arrived we were standing at the entrance as ordered and not picked up. You are assigned a place. At some point I spoke to someone and was given a seat. Here we waited 10 minutes for the card. Then an eternity to place the order. Unfortunately, the food arrived very late for 7 people one after the other. Two were already eating while others still had to wait. We weren't given cutlery until then. We just did it ourselves. Salt and pepper were also not available, so we had to ask the staff. Look, drinks didn't come until we all had our food on the table. Maybe just because I asked again. Unfortunately, this is not a pleasant experience. The pizza could have been hotter and the gorgonzola ravioli spicier. In the end it was only the one waiter who took the money and said goodbye to us in a really friendly way. Otherwise I wouldn't have given it 3 stars.

Refill pack was lying around there (unusable). Towel dispenser empty. The refill roll was at the sink and the lower third was already full of water. That was really disgusting.

Food was good as always! The atmosphere was simply a disaster! This was certainly also due to the fact that there was a loud group of children there. These were not in the designated area for playing, but rather spread out on both sides of the restaurant. Communication was actually only possible by shouting and that at a table of four! The first time that the food was served before the drinks... a drink we ordered didn't arrive at all and was then canceled by us. Unfortunately there are no acoustic measures to improve this situation... Unfortunately it was the last time we were there for dinner... unfortunately an annoying and expensive evening. Little quality for expensive money.

Today we went to Purino in Stölting Hafen in Gelsenkirchen for the first time as a family with our two girls. We were greeted very friendly and were seated immediately. The menu is very varied and there is something for everyone. The service is exceptionally attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable. What was special for us was that children up to 6 years old eat and drink for free. Children aged 7 to 12 pay a lower price. We've never heard of this before in any restaurant. The food was very tasty. The boss also lends a hand here. Our conclusion: - Very attentive and friendly service - Good card - Food very tasty - We will be back definitely

Service takes time due to communication between waiters

That was definitely our last visit as a family. Our order was only taken after 20 minutes. We waited about 60 minutes for our food. I can understand that you have to wait, but that long? Never again! The only good thing is the ambience. Absolutely not recommended especially if you have small children!!
