Projekt Zwo in Ilsenburg (Harz)

We went on a short vacation to Ilsenburg with our children and grandchildren on November 2nd, 2024 and were looking for a restaurant to end the evening with. We were able to make a reservation without hesitation, even though the location was extremely busy and fully booked. The service, the operation and the kitchen were absolutely great. No wish remained unfulfilled and despite the hustle and bustle there was still enough time for a few friendly words of encouragement. We are happy and grateful to have been guests at the wild Ilse and would love to come back. Absolutely recommended!!

Were there yesterday with a large group of 26 people When we arrived on site, we were informed that they had apparently "accidentally" booked tables twice and that we only had 1.2 hours to eat The tone of the waitress towards us was extremely disrespectful and insulting. Example 1: We had a physically impaired person in a wheelchair who had problems getting to the cash register to pay for his meal due to the structural conditions. When asked politely whether one could come to the table to collect money so that the wheelchair user could pay, the answer was harsh: Then someone has to do it for them Example 2: someone wanted to order another beer from us. Answer from the operator: No...you have to go soon anyway... I won't get you started on the quality of the food. There was also an attempt to retroactively pass on dishes that were not on our receipts to us Means: after a completed payment process, an attempt was made to subsequently collect food that we did not order The unspeakably DISRESPECT behavior towards the wheelchair user was also noticed by other guests. And that alone is a reason not to visit the store again Even one star is still too much for this “restaurant”.

"If you haven't made a reservation, we're full" on Friday evening. (1 adult and 2 children). It's a shame we won't be coming back.

Top hospitality, service was 1a! Huge praise to the staff on site. We had just returned from our hike and were looking for a place to stop in the evening. Despite the fact that the "Wilde Ilse" was very well attended, after a few minutes of waiting we were invited in and we were looked after very quickly in a way that has rarely been experienced. The food arrived just a few minutes after the drinks, the waiters were very concerned about the well-being of all the guests, and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. Bravo!

My review today is titled "The Totally Amazing Ladies and the Totally Deceptive Frozen Food." "Wow" - was my first utterance in astonishment at the lovely service. It felt like I was coming to my mom after a messy day, giving me warm milk before kissing my forehead and saying, "By the time you get married, it'll be long forgotten." - Yes, by the time I get married, I hope I will have forgotten about the lack of a menu. Oh my horror, where do I begin? - At the ambience! A mix of rural restaurant and village diner. I'm not an interior designer, the seating options were just fine, the temperature was pleasant to the skin, the lighting conditions were ok, no frills, no chichi, no chuchu... That's all Roger. *thumbs up* Looking at the menu was manageable, there was schnitzel! Furthermore, no complaining, it doesn't always have to be a whole fried Wendefurth trout "Müllerin style" with almond butter, cucumber salad and parsley potatoes, I'm happy to sneak in a nice schnitzel when I get the chance. I chose the one with Lecho and French fries. When I looked at the other plates as I walked past, everything looked cool at first, I was relaxed, my blood pressure was 120 to 60. Seven minutes have passed since I placed my order. I gave up, yes... how should I say, I gave up too after I tasted my canned letcho drowned in oil for the first time. The fries were taken out of the fridge, but apparently they didn't make it into the deep fryer. The only thing that was gold-brown on this table was my buggy body, which I let the sunny sun crunch through last beach season. Unfortunately, the schnitzels were also ready-made food. *looks sad* Conclusion: A nice staff is great for a chat, but it doesn't guarantee a food rush. If you want to become fat and round, don't listen to your heart, but to your mouth.

We are thrilled!!! Super delicious food, incredibly fast service, including the drinks! Ordered and a few minutes later the drinks followed by the salad and the dishes, we have never experienced anything like this!!! Although almost everything was reserved, we⁰ got a table and didn't regret it! Many thanks to the super nice two ladies!

Delicious food, fast service and large portions

We were here very spontaneously last night on Saturday with 5 people and got a high table at the bar. They apologized several times for not having a better table. We still found it very good. There was currywurst, brawn, schnitzel, salmon and the dish of the day: pork cutlet with pumpkin mashed potatoes and pumpkin ginger soup. Everything was very tasty and served very friendly. We're coming back today...

We were in this restaurant for the first and last time today. There is 1 dish on the menu that was confirmed to be vegetarian upon request. We ordered the dish of the day (potato rosti with schnitzel and fresh seasonal mushrooms) as vegetarians we ordered this without schnitzel. We got 3 small ready-made rösti with a cream sauce and mushroom pieces. A small salad garnish was also included. The sauce was simply a ready-made sauce, just like the Rösi frozen goods were. A huge disappointment in terms of taste and unbelievable in terms of price at 18.90 euros per dish. Unfortunately not recommended for vegetarians, and especially not for vegans. It's no consolation that the food was reserved very quickly.

Nice inn with good price-performance ratio. The food was very tasty and the service was attentive and very friendly. Definitely a recommendation from us.

Delicious, plentiful food and nice service

Something has gone completely wrong at this restaurant in the last few weeks. The menu is a disaster and the food is nothing but frozen. Don't order the currywurst because you only get two disgusting bradwurst. We will never eat there again.

Delicious food right on the Ilse, reservations recommended!! Nice ambience, small downside: the female waiter who wanted to cash in since “the next ones are coming”... you should have said that when you made the reservation that you can stay for a maximum of 2 hours...

Very nice service staff, especially the waitress with the zodiac sign Pisces. We felt very comfortable here and highly recommend stopping there.

Ate there almost 2 hours ago with 3 of us. I had brawn with fried potatoes and my two ladies had schnitzel. It was very tasty and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately I realized too late that there was also trout 🎣😭. But since we liked it so much, we'll come back and eat trout 😁🎏

Friendly welcome and delicious food. Nice terrace, but in the end we ate inside, which was just a bit too chilly.

Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the very friendly waitress led us straight to the "lovers' table" and later gave us a romantic explanation of the name. The attentive staff brought us delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price.

We were there for a class reunion in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and had a beautifully decorated table. Super friendly staff who were constantly looking out for our well-being. The food was very tasty and was a sight to behold, thank you for the lovely evening!

Very good, nice and fast service. Food came quickly, we were 9 people and the terrace was also well occupied. The food was very tasty as was the dessert.

Stopped here for a quick break on a longer trip. The staff was super friendly, the food was very good and everything came very quickly. Card payment was also easy :)

We were very satisfied. The employees are incredibly friendly and personable, which is why we felt comfortable from the first second. The food came very quickly and tasted incredibly good. The schnitzels were quite greasy, but since the taste was right, it didn't bother us. We would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, the processed foods are of poor quality. You notice that with the first bite. All in all very dusty and aimed at tourists. For me it's more in the direction of a bar/bistro!

Always delicious and worth a visit! Very nice owner and the service is always friendly. The food, home-style German cuisine, very good. I particularly liked the schnitzel, even though I'm rather picky about it. A good address to stop off after hiking or to spend a cozy evening. Unfortunately there are few good German restaurants in Ilsenburg and the surrounding area, so this one is worth its weight in gold. However, you shouldn't expect a star restaurant, it doesn't want to be. The parking situation is often difficult throughout the Ilsetal, but a short digestive walk never hurt anyone ;).

Here I was warmly welcomed and looked after. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The landlady was in a good mood and wasn't at a loss for anything. I felt very comfortable, ate and drank well (light Spaten on tap). Gladly again at any time. Oh yes, the location right next to the Ilse is of course great too.

My first impression was of a garden restaurant. I would be very positively surprised. Food and service was very good and quick. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside.

I trusted the comments here and was unfortunately quite disappointed: the most expensive currywurst I've eaten in a long time was pretty bland and didn't taste anything special, the side salad was even worse. The brawn tasted like all the others, but not as expected. For the price I really expected something different. The friendly service alone took it out a bit.

It was our first time here and we really liked it. It is advisable to reserve. The recommended meal (sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings) was very tasty. The drinks and food were served very quickly. We'd love to come back.

We were there spontaneously today and actually wanted to sit in the beer garden despite the mixed weather because we often have problems finding a table in a restaurant with our large dog (St. Bernard). We were immediately warmly invited into the restaurant with the words "the size of the dog is not a problem at all." The entire team is super nice and really warm, you immediately feel at home. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and the portions were reasonable for the price. We were thrilled and will definitely come back.

Finally open again... delicious schnitzels like before... the schnitzels are still delicious, unfortunately a little smaller, certainly due to the minimum wage...

Such wonderfully lovely service. You immediately feel super comfortable. The food always came quickly and was absolutely delicious. A mix of home cooking and star food. Only recommended!!! Best chef and absolutely the sweetest service people ever. A visit to Ilsenburg is worth it just for the Wilde Ilse.
