Friendly welcome and delicious food. Nice terrace, but in the end we ate inside, which was just a bit too chilly.

Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the very friendly waitress led us straight to the "lovers' table" and later gave us a romantic explanation of the name. The attentive staff brought us delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price.

We were there for a class reunion in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and had a beautifully decorated table. Super friendly staff who were constantly looking out for our well-being. The food was very tasty and was a sight to behold, thank you for the lovely evening!

Very good, nice and fast service. Food came quickly, we were 9 people and the terrace was also well occupied. The food was very tasty as was the dessert.

We were very satisfied. The employees are incredibly friendly and personable, which is why we felt comfortable from the first second. The food came very quickly and tasted incredibly good. The schnitzels were quite greasy, but since the taste was right, it didn't bother us. We would definitely come back again.

Stopped here for a quick break on a longer trip. The staff was super friendly, the food was very good and everything came very quickly. Card payment was also easy :)

Always delicious and worth a visit! Very nice owner and the service is always friendly. The food, home-style German cuisine, very good. I particularly liked the schnitzel, even though I'm rather picky about it. A good address to stop off after hiking or to spend a cozy evening. Unfortunately there are few good German restaurants in Ilsenburg and the surrounding area, so this one is worth its weight in gold. However, you shouldn't expect a star restaurant, it doesn't want to be. The parking situation is often difficult throughout the Ilsetal, but a short digestive walk never hurt anyone ;).

Unfortunately, the processed foods are of poor quality. You notice that with the first bite. All in all very dusty and aimed at tourists. For me it's more in the direction of a bar/bistro!

Very nice place, with great service and food. The menu doesn't offer too much choice, but what is on offer is very tasty 😋 I can only recommend it.

Here I was warmly welcomed and looked after. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The landlady was in a good mood and wasn't at a loss for anything. I felt very comfortable, ate and drank well (light Spaten on tap). Gladly again at any time. Oh yes, the location right next to the Ilse is of course great too.

My first impression was of a garden restaurant. I would be very positively surprised. Food and service was very good and quick. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside.

I trusted the comments here and was unfortunately quite disappointed: the most expensive currywurst I've eaten in a long time was pretty bland and didn't taste anything special, the side salad was even worse. The brawn tasted like all the others, but not as expected. For the price I really expected something different. The friendly service alone took it out a bit.

It was our first time here and we really liked it. It is advisable to reserve. The recommended meal (sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings) was very tasty. The drinks and food were served very quickly. We'd love to come back.

We were there spontaneously today and actually wanted to sit in the beer garden despite the mixed weather because we often have problems finding a table in a restaurant with our large dog (St. Bernard). We were immediately warmly invited into the restaurant with the words "the size of the dog is not a problem at all." The entire team is super nice and really warm, you immediately feel at home. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and the portions were reasonable for the price. We were thrilled and will definitely come back.

Best chef and absolutely the sweetest service people ever. A visit to Ilsenburg is worth it just for the Wilde Ilse.

Finally open again... delicious schnitzels like before... the schnitzels are still delicious, unfortunately a little smaller, certainly due to the minimum wage...

Cozy outdoor restaurant on the Ilse

Unfortunately they were asked to get up and leave because they didn't want to accept anyone anymore even though there were still a few tables available. Then maybe only offer as many seats as the kitchen and service staff can manage.

A wonderfully located restaurant. The interior design is really very stylish. One area is designed similar to an American diner. We took a seat in the outdoor area and were greeted by a very friendly, funny waitress and later served. The food was very tasty, plentiful and not overpriced. This restaurant alone will certainly lure us back to Ilsenburg

Great, nice restaurant right on the Ilse. You can enjoy your excellent food and delicious drinks right outside by the rushing Ilse. The matjes was excellent and the homemade tartar sauce was also excellent. We'd love to come back there. There are also many hiking trails nearby.

We felt very comfortable. Even though the beer garden was full, the service remained friendly and relaxed. The food is delicious. Price-performance ratio is right. Dogs are also welcome in the beer garden. It's a short walk from the RV park. We'll definitely be back.

Spontaneously visited for dinner after a long hike and immediately took a seat in the beer garden. A friendly older lady served us, we really liked her warmth. Service and food very good 😊 👍 keep it up ☺️
