Preciosa Vesuvio in Neu-Ulm

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience and unfortunately we can't recommend it. Positive: Very quick preparation, pizzas were ok. Negative: our service experience. We ordered an apple spritzer and a non-alcoholic beer. The spritzer was served immediately. Unfortunately, non-alcoholic beer was no longer available. Not an issue, so I ordered a second apple spritzer instead. Unfortunately no longer in stock either. Third attempt: a small shandy. This was served quickly, but the content was well below the 0.25l mark on the glass. We showed it to the waitress who pointed out that a small shandy is only 0.2l. This mistake of ours was a bit unpleasant for us and we apologized for it. On the bill after the meal, 0.25l was actually shown and charged. We pointed this out to the waitress. Instead of a quick apology, she became very rude. She literally said: "Are you acting like this because of a sip of beer?" We told her that we just wanted to point out to her that our warning was justified and that we received less than what we ordered and paid for. Then she asked snidely and very loudly for everyone in the room to hear: "Do you want to have that sip of beer now or what?" We preferred to say goodbye. As we walked out we saw her shaking her head and whispering to colleagues. We think that's not possible for a restaurant. Mistakes can happen, it wasn't a big deal, but as a customer I want to get what I pay for and not be treated like that. We hope that this was just an isolated case, the other reviews here are mostly positive. However, we definitely do not recommend the restaurant.

There is wood-fired pizza, what more could you want. It's like Mama casa. There doesn't always have to be a lot around it if the aura is right. Thank you very much

We ordered four pizzas and wanted spaghetti di mare. But when we ordered the spaghetti we were told that there would be no pasta today, only pizza and salad. We then only ordered four pizzas. But we were surprised that 10 minutes later other customers were able to order pasta. When we asked, we were told that you could order any pasta except spaghetti di mare and we had just misheard... Furthermore, the pizza was edible, but the dough was extremely dry. Once and never again!

There is rarely a review from me. Absolutely necessary here - Very tasty pizza and salad, the prices are more than reasonable. The emphasis here is on good food, and the ambience has the charm of a workers' pub from the 1980s/90s. The pizza is prepared directly in the tavern in the charcoal oven - like at Mamma in Italia!

I've been coming to this pizzeria since I was a child. They have the best pizza in the world! Even after we move from Neu-Ulm, we'll be happy to come back :) I highly recommend.

Good pizza in an old local. Traditional pizzeria. Simply. Stone oven pizza can be recommended there. Prices are good 👍

The pizza was great, the service was very friendly and quick. (And you could also harvest the mirabelle plum tree on the terrace!) We were passing through, but would like to come back if we had the opportunity.

Large Tonno pizza with onions is enough for big appetites or for two. Well topped and baked to perfection. I will definitely come back.

Had dinner here yesterday. The food came very quickly and the service was great. The food was delicious and it was the perfect size. The service also a 10/10. The waitresses were very friendly. The ambience was also a 10/10. A bit old-fashioned and not like you would expect from restaurants. You could watch the pizza maker preparing the food, which was very beneficial for me. Overall a 10/10!! We recommend and will come again!!

Very disappointing, service very overwhelmed and definitely not skilled staff. Unfortunately, I typed too much food/drink only after the fact. Forgot to eat despite ordering. The pizza was okay. That was my last visit.

Only cash payment possible, service friendly, atmosphere from the 70s/80s and the toilet no longer had soap. Pizza was too hard and dry, cheese was apparently analogue cheese (now called vegan cheese!). Salad too expensive, tablecloth wasn't fresh, unfortunately I won't eat there anymore.

This is the most unattractive restaurant in ages. A 3/4 empty restaurant with white tablecloths stained from previous guests. A tea light that was burnt out that the hostess took away from our table, not to replace it, but to put it on the empty table next to us. After 30 minutes music suddenly sounded from the speakers but unfortunately for a short time. We were alone with 2 people in the meantime (9:30 pm) and the music went out. So it was not a pleasant evening. Then the food: the pizza's. Also moderate unfortunately, thinly invested and very thin base. You could handle it with ease. Then the bill, on the menu, a glass of white house wine 0.25 l was prized € 4.50. At checkout it said € 5.00 for the glass of wine. In short: bad atmosphere, minimal service and the bill did not match the card prices. For next year we will look for a hopefully better pizzeria when we are passing through to Italy.

Essen ist lecker, die Pizzen aber etwas dünn. Geschmacklich super. Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich.

Der Biergarten bzw. die Terrasse ist leider nicht so schön, aber die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Die Pizza war etwas trocken und der Spinat als Belag war definitiv aus der Tiefkühltruhe.

Pizza im Vesuvio steht einmal im Monat auf der To-Do und Genuß Liste. Meine Top-Pizza ist die Roma, herrlich. 👍 (mit viiiiel Knoblauch 🤣)

Das Essen war spitze. Hat bisschen gedauert bis wir bedient wurden und das Ambiente ist jetzt nichts besonderes, aber dennoch absolut eine Empfehlung wert.

Personal sehr freundlich aber nicht grad die schnellsten kann hier jetzt nur die Pizza beurteilen wir waren zu dritt, aber alle Pizzen waren super gut und man kann zusehen wie er sie im Holzofen macht wir kommen gerne wieder

Man fühlt sich wie im großen Wohnzimmer. Dabei hat man freien Blick auf den Pizzabäcker und Pizzaofen. Die Pizza war super lecker. Gern hätten wir aber Pasta bestellt, doch das wollte die Dame vom Service nicht so recht. Das würde viiiiiel zu lange dauern, aber Pizza hätte sie ja...

Vor einige Wochen hier an 2 Abenden gegessen. Der Pizza 4 Käse hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Leider sind die Messer viel zu stumpf um Pizzas zu schneiden (war am ganzen Tisch so) Der 2. Abend hatten 2 von uns Pasta Gerichte bestellt, der Rest der Gruppe Pizza. Die Pizzas kamen und dann kein Pasta. Und das dauerte so lange das alle anderen schon längst fertig mit essen waren als die beide Pasta Gerichte kamen. Nicht unsere Vorstellung von ein gemeinsamen Mahlzeit...

Nach wie vor gibt es hier mit die besten Pizzen in Ulm und Neu-Ulm

Sehr gute Pizza und Preiswert. Sehr nette Bedienung die auch alle Sonderwünsche erfüllt Chilisoße oder Knoblauchsoße usw. Nur zum empfehlen 👍
