China Restaurant Hong Kong in Neu-Ulm

Unfortunately, like so many others here, I have to strongly criticise the hospitality of the owners. We had the feeling that people were speaking badly about us, but unfortunately we didn't understand it because the words weren't spoken in German. Google Live Translate unfortunately confirmed what the unfriendly lady of the house had said. You should never speak badly about guests who bring you money, especially not when they're sitting right in front of you, just because you mistakenly think they won't understand. If there are any problems, you should communicate them directly to the guest, ideally in the language they speak. It's a shame, but unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant, and the owners still have a lot to learn.

Great food for little money and incredibly nice people in the service

The food is very good👍 Kudos to the kitchen!! 5* The service, however, is a complete failure. We encountered a completely unfriendly server. A person who didn't even look at you, seemed almost arrogant, and maintained an absolute minimum of communication. 0* The ambiance inside is typical of a Chinese restaurant. There are a few things that could be improved, but that's how I imagine a classic Chinese restaurant. 3.0* The outside area, however, is completely empty and lacking in love. They could definitely do more there. Table decorations, lanterns, etc.... almost resemble a motorway service station :/ 1* Despite the very good food, we won't be visiting this restaurant again.

A place where we like to be. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly. There is also parking and a cozy terrace in summer.

The food is good, you can't complain about it, but the waitress puts the food on the table, doesn't bat an eye and leaves. And when paying with a card, the tip you're supposed to give comes first and then the bill. I actually always give tips, but generating money this way...? I don't know. You act as if you can't speak German and when someone you know comes in, communication suddenly stops. This service has two faces.

We were there today to celebrate a birthday. We had a 5-course Peking duck menu for 6 people.....it was an absolute dream and a feast for the senses from the first course to the last course. Rarely have we eaten such an excellent meal ❤️ We were all absolutely thrilled with how excellent this menu tasted. Everything was beautifully prepared and a taste explosion. The service was very warm, super friendly, quick and very attentive. We can only recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back.

The tables, chairs, etc. are very old. Food is good, I think the spring roll was homemade and not frozen, but the price for the portion you get (main course) is not justified. I went there spontaneously to eat, more expensive than in Ulm city center with the same quality.

Found by chance, I can only recommend it. Generally really tasty food and the waiting times are ok.😊 The fountain in the middle of the restaurant is a bit makeshift but the ambience is perfect and I give it 5 stars!⭐️

You still have a lot of potential, and I like that you're family-run. I'd love to keep coming, but you have to be a little bold.

A restaurant that gives me very mixed feelings... The food is good and there is nothing wrong with it. Priced for an Asian in the upper segment. But quality can also come at a cost. The pond inside is a nice alternative to traditional aquariums, although its decoration is a bit "wild". But what led me to the rather poor rating is the sanitary facilities! These urgently need renovation. It feels like a time travel, but both the cleanliness and the general condition are appalling. Addendum after reply from owner. That explains the problem. But it really should be regulated differently or resolved in court. “If you want to know how cleanly someone works, look at their toilet” can lead to concern.

Went there twice to eat and were treated so unkindly each time. We've never experienced anything like that before, mass processing, the seating set was torn up, we'll never go there again. Shame about the money.

Service was more than bad. Food (duck and beef) only greasy, you think you are biting on chewing gum. You are asked if everything is okay, then you tell the truth, that it was just greasy, the waiter turns around and runs away without a comment. We've been coming to this restaurant every now and then for more than 15 years, but the last three times it was really bad. We won't come anymore. It's actually a shame, everything was great until two years ago and we really enjoyed coming to eat 😢

This restaurant was an absolute disaster! The waitress was the worst I've ever experienced - extremely unfriendly, had chewing gum in her mouth the whole time which was very disgusting and when the tip wasn't enough she just turned around and left without saying goodbye! How can you allow something like that? The ambience was dated and run down, nothing about it was appealing. And that completely unnecessary pond? Just ridiculous and disturbing. Overall it was a terrible experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Ordered there for the first time, tried many restaurants in Neu-Ulm and around Neu-Ulm/Ulm. Very tasty, large portions, very inexpensive. Can only be recommended.

Oh le massacre ou je devrais dire l arnaque, un bol de riz blanc 15 euros , j ai demandé 2 portions de nem heuuuuu juste de la pâte, facture 18 euros , et en plus les nems pas bon du tout , c est la dernière fois que j irais dîner là-bas. A fuir à fuir .

Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier. Das Essen entsprach unseren Erwartungen und stand in Würze, Qualität und Geschmack indem was wir bei unserem letzten Besuch bekommen hatten in nichts nach. Es war einfach gut!!! Service und Ambiente hingen etwas der Speisen Qualität etwas hinterher. Der Service nach dem Essen ließ diesmal doch spürbar nach, speziell im Bereich Getränke.

"Unser" Chinese in Neu-Ulm/Pfuhl! Essen nach wie vor sehr gut und reichhaltig sowie preislich auf gutem Niveau. Man wird sehr schnell, gut und höflich bedient! Was anhand der Menge nicht verspeist werden kann darf gerne mit genommen werden. Kommen gerne und oft wieder, an Wochenenden ist Tischreservierung ratsam.

Das Ambiente ist typisch für ein Chinarestaurant. Sehr schön ist der Fischteich in der Mitte des Gastraumes. Im Sommer und Frühjahr bzw bis in den Herbst hinein sitzt man sehr schön auf der Terasse. Das Personal ist immer freundlich. Dienstag gibt es Mittagsmenü und Donnerstags Mittagsbuffet, beides mit großer Auswahl, günstigen Preisen und bestechend guter Qualität! Geschmacklich super. Ich gehe hier oft mit Kollgen in der Mittagspause hin. Am Abend bestell ich mir noch hin und wieder etwas von der großen Karte. Auswahl ist hier fantastisch. Die Portionen sind riesig und reichen (zumindest bei mir ) für 2 Essen bzw eine zweite Person. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ohne gestellt zu wirken. Sehr zu empfehlen......

Waren nach langer Zeit wieder mal da, das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, war zur Mittagszeit nicht zu voll , leider gibt's kein Buffet mehr, ansonsten eine gute Alternative um den eigenen Herd mal kalt zu lassen.

Essen war lecker. Aber Organisation katastrophe. Waren zu zweit da. Andere Stammgäste sind 1 Stunde nach uns gekommen. Bekammen das Essen noch vor uns. Nach 20Minuten warten auf den Nachtisch sind wir gegangen.Natürlich bezahlt aber auf Nachtisch verzichtet. Man sollte alle Gäste gleich bedienen oder bezahlen die mit anderem Geld ? Ein sehr arrogante Bedienung. Schade

Auf der Rückfahrt von Schongau nach Hause kam ich gegen 12.30 Uhr zufällig im Hong Kong vorbei und war dort zu Gast. Das Huhn mit Gemüse incl. Frühlingsrolle von der Mittags-Karte hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt, der Service war freundlich und schnell. Sehr gerne wieder!

Wir sind gestern (Mittwoch) spontan hier essen gegangen. Sofort wurde uns ein Tisch angeboten, obwohl schon gut was los war. Das Restaurant ist hell und freundlich. Wir haben einen Platz am Fenster und dem kleinen „Indoor-Teich“ bekommen. Die Getränke kamen sofort, die Vorspeisen kurz darauf. Sehr lecker. Die Hauptspeise war wirklich gut, vor allem die Ente in Kokos-Curry-Sauce (glaube ich). Wir wurden freundlich umsorgt und durften das Essen im Anschluss mitnehmen (da die Portionen wirklich ausreichend waren). Die Preise finde ich angemessen, gerade im der aktuellen Zeit. :) Meine 4/5 bei Service ist als absolut penibel einzustufen: ich esse in asiatischen Restaurants die dies kulturell anbieten gerne mit Stäbchen, diese aber auf Nachfrage nicht bekommen (ich hätte nochmal fragen können, also bitte nicht zu kritisch sehen!) Bei Ambiente liegt es ebenfalls an einer persönlichen Präferenz; ich habe gerne etwas Musik im Hintergrund. Thematisch stimmig oder nicht ist dabei zweitrangig. Ich würde das Restaurant alles in allem aber unbedingt empfehlen! Danke für den schönen Abend :)

Ein gutes Asia Restaurant "alter Schule". Nicht das beste in Ulm/Neu-Ulm, aber vorne mit dabei. Service is richtig nett und cool drauf.

Alsooooooo, essen war echt mega lecker sind alle satt geworden Aber leider mussten wir über 1 Std auf unser Essen warten und als wir nachfragten wurde gelacht und wir warteten weiter .... Nach 1 1/2 Std kam nach und nach unser Essen, obwohl der Nachbar Tisch vor uns da war und auch schon ewig warten musste....

Das Essen war hier sehr gut und man wird sehr satt. Die chinesische Küche ist hier sehr authentisch und schmackhaft, in einem schönen Ambiente, zu erleben. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zum Abschied hab's auch noch ein Glückskekschen.

Das Essen war reichlich und von gutem Geschmack zu einem angemessen Preis. Die Bedienung war allerdings sehr unhöflich und ignorant. Bei der Bestellung wurde im Raum rumgeschaut und missachtet, man wusste nicht hört sie noch zu oder ist sie irgendwo anders. Beim Servieren wurde nicht das gebracht was abgesprochen war und beim Bezahlen wurde unverschämt die Augen verdreht weil man mit Karte bezahlen wollte - sehr unfreundlich.

Sehr gutes Essen, kurze Wartezeit und guter Service. Auch im Restaurant ist es sehr sauber. Wir waren zum ersten Mal und werden wieder gehen.
