Das hat mir sehr gefallen schneller Service freundlich und zuvorkommend.Essen war ein Träumchen.

Im Zuge eines Seminars hier zum Mittag essen gewesen und es hat rundum gepasst.

Sehr sehr netter Laden. Sind nur auf der Durchreise aber der Stopp lohnt sich definitiv.

Wir waren gerade dort essen. Sehr lecker, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr nettes Personal, gemütliches Ambiente. Wir können es nur jedem empfehlen.

Mittagstisch Bifteki für 9,90 Euro. Ein Genuss. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Immer wieder gerne, man sollte Hunger mitbringen die Portionen sind riesig und die Preise super

Gute Griechische Küche. Ich bin nun schon 2 Mal dort gewesen und war beide Male sehr zufrieden. Die Parkplatzsituation ist gut, aber wenn der Laden voll besetzt ist zu knapp. Der Service ist freundlich und man fühlt sich willkommen. Das Essen schmeckt super und wird schnell serviert. Vorne weg gibt es noch etwas Brot mit Aioli und einem weiteren Aufstrich - auch sehr lecker. Die Preisgestaltung beim Essen ist völlig okay, allerdings empfand ich die Getränkepreise als zu hoch. Unter dem Strich ist der Laden empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war richtig lecker, super lecker. Der Service ist 1A. Seit der neuen Karte schmeckt es noch besser. Das Poseidon ist eine wirklich sehr gute Location, und kann man nur Empfehlen. Danke und bis bald.

Unser lieblings Restaurant. Wie immer alles super! Man fühlt sich direkt in Griechenland.

Bei durchschnittlichem Essen, wurde unser Tisch vom Service übersehen, oder haben Freunde am Nebentisch zuviel Aufmerksamkeit gezogen? Der bestellte Nachtisch war nach 45 Minuten immer noch nicht da und wurde abbestellt. Bedarf an Getränken wurde nicht erfragt. Insgesamt unerfreulich und dafür zu teuer.

Am Pfingstmontag war es sehr voll und wir haben lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Aber auf der Terrasse war es sehr schön bei dem herrlichen Wetter und das Essen ( Poseidon-Salat und Gyros mit Metaxa Sauce) war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Ich war nicht gerade begeistert. Das Lokal hat von außen keinen besonderen Charme, der mich an Griechenland erinnert. Der Service war gut. Wir waren zwei Freunde und wollten Tsipouro und Meze essen. Das gibt es hier in der Gegend überhaupt nicht. Natürlich habe ich das bemerkt. Solche Läden sollten die wichtigsten Zutaten für Meze nicht vergessen, sie sollten mindestens 80 % der griechischen Küche abdecken. Dazu kommen ungesalzene Sardellen (die werden wie Sardinen verkauft). Taramas hatten nichts mit der traditionellen Tarama zu tun, es fehlten Zitrone und Olivenöl, und sie wurden nicht mit Kartoffeln zubereitet. Die gefüllte Florina-Paprika war, wie der Name schon sagt, „gefüllt“ und nicht eingerissen. Die Zucchini waren relativ gut, dem Tzatziki fehlte der Knoblauch; es war Joghurt mit Gurke und Pflanzenöl. Der Saganaki war mit dem schwarzen und weißen Sesam und dem Honig lecker, vielleicht hätte etwas mehr Honig ihm gutgetan. Das Tsipouro war zwar etwas kommerziell, aber meiner Meinung nach verwässert. Ich werde daher nicht wiederkommen. 🟥 Karte. Falls ich den Besitzer verärgert habe, entschuldige ich mich. Er sollte die Qualität verbessern, dann würde er einen großen Unterschied feststellen. P.S.: Ich habe einem Ihrer Mitarbeiter das Rezept für Taramas gegeben. Probieren Sie es doch mal und sagen Sie mir, ob ich Recht habe oder nicht.

Stark nachgelassen. Ich kenne Poseidon als sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant mit höchstem Qualitätsanspruch an seine Speisen. Nun gibt es mehrere Unstimmigkeiten: 3 Gerichte aus der Online-Speisekarte herausgesucht mit einem Gesamtpreis von 49,80€, der Frau wurden im Laden dann 65€ aus der Tasche gezogen. Dafür war das Fleisch für seine Geschmacklosigkeit wenigstens staubtrocken. Wir sind jetzt übrigens auf der Suche nach einem guten griechischen Restaurant in und um Wesseling. Für Tipps bin ich dankbar.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, der Service war ausgezeichnet.

Schade, das beschreibt diesen Restaurantbesuch am besten. Schöne Lokalität…..das war’s dann aber auch leider schon. Essen (Fleisch und Fisch) war leider ausschließlich trocken und eher kühl. Zu meinem Erstaunen war dies der erste Grieche, bei dem es keinen Salat zum Essen gab. Bei dem Preisniveau und ohne Salat liegen die Preise hier höher, als vergleichbare Lokale in verschiedenen Großstädten. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Klasse Service! Super Location und Essen. Wir waren mit Kindern da und diese konnten sich durch den Spielplatz super beschäftigen. Ws gab sogar einen DJ.

Das Essen war fantastisch und die Atmosphäre erstklassig.

Waren hier schon ein paar mal essen. Es hat uns immer wieder gut geschmeckt. Freundliche Mitarbeitende. Parken im Hof. Preis Leistung passt.

Ein spontaner Besuch am Sonntag Nachmittag ohne Reservierung stellte kein Problem da - genügend freie Tische vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Großzügige Bestuhlung und viel Platz zwischen den Tischen. Der Wintergarten ist angenehm beheizt und dort ist auch Rauchen erlaubt (wer es mag). Etwas griechische Musik im Hintergrund. Große Auswahl an Speisen - da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Das Essen hat auch nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Als Gruß aus der Küche warmes knuspriges Weißbrot mit Aioli - lecker! Dann frittierte Mini-Calamari, da frittierte Sardinen schon aus waren - auch lecker! Nun zum Hauptgericht: Die gleichmäßige Bräunung des Schnitzels ließ auf die Zubereitung in der Friteuse schließen, war aber geschmacklich ok und auch mit viel Soße (Pluspunkt). Das Gyros war auch ok, kommt aber an das aus meinem Favoriten-Imbiss nicht heran. Zaziki hätte etwas mehr sein können. Die Pommes waren leider unterdurchschnittlich, schmeckten sehr nach Fett. Da empfiehlt sich alternativ besser den Reis zu wählen. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Ouzo auf 's Haus - top! Fazit: Preislich im Mittelfeld, kann man mal ab und zu hingehen. Die Konkurrenz im regionalen Umfeld ist aber nicht klein.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Für eine Seniorin schon sehr viel,da wäre es super, wenn ein Seniorenteller angeboten würde, damit nicht die viel weg geworfen würde. Aber für meinen Sohn war es toll. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

Preis/Leistung stimmt und sehr lecker.

We had a reservation for New Year's Eve, and we were NOT informed beforehand that they only offered set menus starting at over €50 per person. The selection was terrible. The appetizer, mushrooms with aioli and feta cheese, which I waited over an hour for, was a joke – not a hint of garlic, but plenty of oil. The lamb shank was served in a deep plate of mashed potatoes; it looked funny, but that was about it. No vegetables were offered, and they were incredibly tasteless. Apologies? None whatsoever; they said they were too busy. One of the seven main courses didn't arrive until I was almost finished eating. If you can't handle a rush like that, which wasn't even there, you'd be better off closing down. For me, it wasn't worth repeating…a real shame.

We were there on Boxing Day with six people. The service was completely overwhelmed; they probably took too many reservations. We had a table in the conservatory, which had been closed off with plastic sheeting. It was correspondingly cold. Smoking was also allowed there, which didn't improve things. After two hours, our food arrived, one of which was wrong, and another was served with gyros instead of liver without us having asked. All in all, unacceptable.

The beef liver was delicious. The plate was generously filled with three beef livers and fries. I enjoyed it. I'll definitely come back.

We discovered this fantastic restaurant during our holiday. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had gemista (stuffed peppers) with feta cheese – the portion was huge and very reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly friendly, always cheerful, and gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant is very clean and has an authentic Greek atmosphere. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍👍

The food was really good; the appetizer with pork in garlic oil and lemon, etc., was a highlight and definitely worth trying. The service staff was very friendly and quick, and the prices were more than fair for what was offered. We will definitely come back.

We went there again this past weekend after a long time, as I have no complaints about the food itself. However, the service has left much to be desired. On the last two visits, one dish was forgotten each time, and it took ages to rectify the mistake. The rest of the meal was ready before the missing item arrived. This time, we had to wait almost 15 minutes after sitting down before someone came to at least order drinks. Then we had to endure a total of 25 minutes of the soundcheck for the band that was playing later, which was far too loud with a distorted microphone and terrible feedback. Why isn't this done before guests arrive? It wasn't even that busy on Saturday to explain the aforementioned wait. There were only 2-3 tables occupied outside, and there were also free tables inside. Next, we requested that the platter be ordered without onions, as my wife can't tolerate raw ones. Of course, there was almost a whole large onion on it. We then had to wait almost 10 minutes for the plate for our young son. Even getting a server during the meal wasn't easy. Unfortunately, this was probably the last time we'll be there, even though we've always enjoyed the food up until now.

The food was quite tasty, except for the gyros, which I didn't find particularly exciting. Otherwise, a very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Appetizer good, main course ok, service bad.

Terrible! We had booked a table for nine people weeks in advance to celebrate two 50th birthdays. We waited two hours for our food. One of us was allowed to eat alone first… the rest of the food arrived bit by bit! The waiters did their best, but the problem seemed to be in the kitchen! They were offering takeout, but many guests in the restaurant had to wait for their food. We tried to speak to the owner, but he didn't dare come out of the kitchen! The food wasn't up to its usual quality either! In short: our nine-person party will not be eating there again.

Beautiful place, delicious food and very good service!

A disaster. We waited over an hour for the food. The service was completely overwhelmed. We were just told they were so busy. There were 12 of us and we had a reservation. The food didn't arrive at the same time. It was lacking in seasoning and some of it was burnt. Sorry, but when you take so many reservations, you have to deal with it.

Gyros totally dry, salad dressing only tasted of vinegar, rice with tomato sauce, pork overcooked, tzatziki tasted of everything but tzatziki, and outside it smelled of old railway sleepers

A perfectly ordinary Greek restaurant. The ambiance could use a renovation; it's showing its age.

The dishes are great, but unfortunately they're completely oversized. One dish is easily enough for two people. Why do you do it like that? On Saturday, August 2, 2025, a two-man band played Greek music, unfortunately much too loudly, with almost no breaks. It was impossible to have a conversation with the people sitting next to you, which was annoying.

Hi everyone, I went there for dinner with my husband. There were some strange clients. The lady who works there, doing aesthetic treatments, doesn't know what her actual profession is, but she's definitely not a regular worker.

We were here for a birthday. As always, everyone was very friendly and embodied Greek hospitality. It was wonderfully delicious. From the appetizer to the main courses and dessert, it was a little vacation 😎 That's why we love coming here. The seating is airy yet sheltered. Inside, the tables are pleasantly arranged. Even when it's full, you can have a good conversation. If you're lucky, you might see Greek folklore. I love it here ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We all had a great time and will definitely be back.

We expected a bit more from this restaurant. Expensive prices and poor service. The salad was poorly served, bread and dip were only available at the next table, and we waited over an hour for the food. The staff were completely overwhelmed, and if you speak to them, they roll their eyes. All in all: I can't recommend this place. You feel ignored the whole time.

The food is okay, but nothing more. The gyro was slightly underseasoned; it could have used more zest; the tzatziki was tasty. It's strange that there was no salad, not even a small one, on the plate. However, you could order it separately, and it was unfortunately far too expensive. Overall, the prices have gone up quite a bit since we were last there. Inflation rates of almost 30% are a steep increase in just over a year. Unfortunately, the service leaves more and more to be desired. One of the waiters stands in the middle of the terrace, clearing tables in a disorganized manner and smoking a cigarette in the middle of the guests! A somewhat uniform appearance in terms of the staff's clothing would also have been desirable; only one of the waiters was appropriately dressed. If you wanted to order something else or needed a waiter for some other reason, you had to call out loudly while gesticulating wildly; otherwise, you were unfortunately ignored most of the time. Conclusion: There are better ones, some of which are even cheaper.

A long wait due to a lack of staff is acceptable, but the food that was served was unfortunately not! Food really tasty. Bread, salad, creams all harmonious. Food came quickly in 20 minutes, more of a medium portion. Toilets small but clean. The waiters are attentive and quick. We didn't like the noise, and the seating inside wasn't ours either, but that's a matter of taste. The only drawback: the parking spaces. We found the price a bit high.

the place is quite nice but the waiters don't know English, we arrived at the restaurant almost two hours ago and after 20 minutes they brought us the menus, after another 20 the drinks and after another 40 the appetizers! The dishes still haven't arrived! it is unacceptable, I will not return and I do not recommend it, from what I managed to eat from the starters the food is good but not worth the wait! update, after two and a quarter hours of arriving at the restaurant we received the wrong order. we paid what little we managed to consume in two hours and we left for McDonald's at this point.

Today we were in this restaurant for the first and last time. Today we spontaneously went to the restaurant for lunch with the family. When we arrived, we sat outside and ordered a starter and a main course. I had a lamb plate as my main course. The starter was ok. When the main course came, we were surprised at the pungent, acrid smell. When I took one of the lamb chops and bit into it, I immediately spat it out. The meat was spoiled! Now we knew where the smell came from. I gave one of the pieces to my husband, he took it, smelled it and immediately grimaced. Of course, we all stopped eating immediately. We had all lost our appetite. My husband then called the waitress to our table and explained the situation to her. The waitress was very calm and just said, "Okay, I'll pass this on to the boss." We waited in vain for a response from the waitress for about 30 minutes. After asking again, the waitress told us that the rotting smell of the meat was already known in the kitchen!!! As compensation she would cancel half our plate. My husband then asked if the boss could come to us personally. After waiting several times for about 20 minutes, a young man came. I don't know if he's the boss. We asked him if he knew that his restaurant was intentionally selling tainted meat?! He just replied that yes, the supplier was to blame. We then said that under no circumstances would we pay for the plate. He immediately said that was fine. We paid and left. If something like that happened unknowingly, I would never say anything, but to say that the kitchen was aware that the meat smelled strange and was being served anyway, that's not possible!

My family and I had the idea of ​​going out to eat there on January 1st, 2025, and of course we saw that there were different opening times because of the holiday, we then reserved a table and then received a confirmation for 5:00 p.m., so we did Of course we thought it would be open from 5:00 p.m....there was nothing on Facebook or on the restaurant's website saying that New Year was over...of course we went there and that was it dark..at least a note could have been put on the door..that should be reconsidered for the future

Nice, somewhat outdated restaurant, some of which has already been renovated. Food tastes very good, but too many onions everywhere. Service very attentive and friendly. Price-performance ratio is right.

Let's start with the fact that I come here more often because of the perfect location and the pleasant atmosphere. However, I have to say that the service is so bad. The waiters do not communicate with each other, which leads to misunderstandings among guests. The food itself always tastes different depending on the day and the number of visitors. You definitely have to plan for a 1 hour waiting time (on good days) but on bad days a minimum of 2 hours+. Sometimes the invoices say things that were never ordered. Hospitality receipts are also a foreign word here. Speaking of foreign words, if you order a drink like a Campari Spritz, you end up with a wine glass full of Campari. To come to a conclusion, in the best case scenario, this is a chip shop with a nice ambience. Not worth visiting.

So far we have always been very satisfied... Visiting today for a cozy 1st. Enjoy Christmas Day with the family. All in all it was very disappointing. Unfortunately. Uncomfortable, the food we ordered wasn't complete and some of it was cold. Wir hatten diesmal eine sehr negative Erfahrung im Poseidon. Mit Reservierung und trotz leerem Restaurant, wurden wir in ein kleines Hinterzimmer (neben die Abstellkammer) an einen Minitisch zu viert „gequetscht“. Der Service war lustlos und das Essen wirklich schlecht (Fleisch der Grillplatte zäh, nach Verzehr des Moussaka musste ich mich nachts mehrfach übergeben). Wir haben sehr viel Geld für schlechtes Essen, Getränke in einem beklemmenden Ambiente ausgegeben, begleitet von einem Service, dem wir offensichtlich nicht willkommen waren. Fazit: Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Very nice Greek restaurant, we particularly like the winter garden and the fact that there is a swing and sandpit for smaller children. The food is also good and the price/performance ratio is good. Personally, it is our first choice if you are looking for a Greek restaurant in the surrounding area in the south of Cologne. There are only a few parking spaces available.

Was here today for the first and last time. Prices far too high for the quantity and quality. You are spoken to in an unfriendly manner and when you pay, the remaining money is withheld without comment. This store is not recommended and I can't understand how all the good reviews come about.

Let's start with the positives... ☀️ The place looks really nice, with a big terrace, some Greek statues, and a "Wasserturm" that looks like a lighthouse that makes you feel like you're on the greek coast (if you ignore the cars in the street). 🏛️🌊 The staff is nice. I read some complaints about the staff and the slow service, but that wasn't the case for us. Everything was fast, and they were really friendly. 👍 Now, the food. We ordered gyros with salad and tzatziki. It was a bit dry, but the taste was okay, nothing special. 🥙🥗 The dorade royal vom grill was something special, though. It was tasty, juicy, and served with extra olive oil and vegetables. 🐟🔥 It was good, but I have to confess that I was expecting a bit more of the gyros🙅🏻🙅🏻‍♀️ I almost forgot, the baked feta cheese was really good 🌟🌟🌟 In any case, I would definitely recommend the dorade royal. That was really good.

We were there on a busy Friday evening. It's very nice to sit outside. Perfect for warm summer evenings! The problem was that we had to wait about 90 minutes for our food. This can happen when things are going well and everyone orders at the same time. However, it is annoying when several neighboring tables have paid before you have seen your food. The food is solid, but unfortunately there is a lot of good competition in the area, so it fell short of expectations. Would we come back again? Allegedly. But only if we are outside the classic meal times.

I've already gotten to know much better Greek restaurants, the food and service were loveless and not even an ouzo at the end.
