The fries were either too hard or totally soggy, the tomato was not so appetizing and the meat was quite good

A grill I can recommend without hesitation. Everything is freshly prepared here and it's simply delicious. The two of us were there today, and it certainly won't be the last time. A grill where everything is just right and I can recommend without hesitation. 5 out of 5 stars in all respects. We'll be back.

We were there for the first time. The food was delicious and plentiful. It was great value for money. We'll definitely stop there again if we're in the area again.

It doesn't seem particularly good value for money... But the taste and quantity are convincing. I prefer the smaller portions 😄. Except for the pizza. Then I have to get the large one. Okay, I'll eat it for two days. But it's also delicious.

I've been to this restaurant several times and always enjoy returning. The grilled platter for two I ordered was always fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. You can really tell the high quality of the ingredients. For me, it's one of the best places for a cozy and delicious meal.

A really good place! The Jakob Grill in Wesseling not only scores points for its cleanliness and friendliness, but also for its truly pleasant atmosphere – truly top-notch for a snack bar! The gyros and gyro pita are super delicious, nice and fresh, and in generous portions. The homemade coleslaw is also a highlight – crisp, simple, and definitely not from the bucket like you often find elsewhere. Value for money? Also perfectly fine. You just feel at home here!

Of course you can also pick it up. You can sit very well both inside and outside. Even with the whole family it's always nice and not too loud or too crowded. Price-performance is top. Even though it has become a little more expensive, the ratio is still in the absolutely acceptable range due to the freshness and the great taste. We are still new to Wesseling and are currently trying out one thing or another and were guests here today too. We think the good reviews are justified. Our order, a grill plate for 2 people, was received very friendly, the dish was freshly prepared, if you like you can watch the chefs doing it :-). And it was delicious, as hoped, the meat was strongly seasoned, the fries were crispy, the pita bread was fluffy, and the tzatziki was also very tasty. You can get self-service drinks from the fridge, including a Greek beer. The Jakob Grill definitely remains on the list, this fast food joint is in no way inferior to a regular Greek restaurant.

Very friendly staff welcomes you at the large, modern and beautiful counter. The fact that everything here is homemade is clearly noticeable in the taste! The food tastes exceptionally good! Ich hatte eine Bratwurst mit Brötchen und eine Cola bestellt. Das bei der Cola Selbstbedienung aus dem Kühlschrank ist, darübe haben mich andere Gäste informiert. Grew up in Wesseling and have always been consistently delicious for over 25 years. They are now coming over to you from the other side of the Rhine. For me, this store has legendary status. I hope you always keep the bread for the pita as it will make you stand out from the crowd.

My subjective perception: Unfortunately, almost nothing is homemade, only bought ready-made. Why not fresh homemade salads? Why not delicious freshly baked pita bread? Unfortunately, the friendliness also leaves something to be desired.

Unfortunately 1 hour waiting time for gyros. Then we ate somewhere else.

We were there with friends. The food (grilled platter, Jägerschnitzel, Hawaiian schnitzel) was top - except for the little things (Jägersauce with PAPRIKA/somewhat unusual). The friendliness leaves a lot to be desired. Service as well. Drinks only available in small bottles. . . When I asked whether there were also glasses/cups, the answer was "yes" and then "we don't have any glasses". Basically, only recommended in relation to the food if you can do without friendliness and service.

We're out!!! Since the beginning of March there has been a new menu, which feels like the seventh or eighth in the last three years. Almost all dishes became even more expensive. The burgers are awesome, not only more expensive, but also from 180 to 150 grams. Outrageous. Atmosphere has been quieter, better, more comfortable in recent decades. Now just a hustle and bustle, telephone service at the checkout. Everyone in stress. But quality is still top. If you want to pay for it, just do it! From now on we are going to alternatives to Berzdorf or to the Greek hospital nearby. Bye Abi

At peak times there can be waiting times but the gyros is the best in the greater Cologne Bonn area. A wide range of very good quality food. The delivery service in the Wesseling area also works very well.

Ich kenne den Jakob Grill mittlerweile seit fast 30 Jahren. Und wenn man mir damals gesagt hätte, welches hohe Niveau dieser einstige Schnellimbiss mal erreichen würde, hätte ich den Überbringer dieser Nachricht bestimmt für verrückt erklärt. Der Jakob Grill geht mittlerweile über simples Fast Food hinaus. Hinzu kommt ein freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Nur das Ambiente ist nicht so toll, aber das liegt in erster Linie am hektischen Standort an der Keldenicher Straße und kann somit nicht dem Jakob Grill angelastet werden.

Wollten unseren großen Hunger schnell stillen. Das Personal hatte viel zu tun. Dadurch waren die Fritten dann nicht mehr heiß.

Ich wurde herzlich empfangen, dazu kommt das leckere frische Essen was für meinen Gaumen eine Wohltat war. Service Weltklasse und ein wohliges Ambiente. TOP!

Heute hab ich einen kleinen und großen Gyrosteller bestellt. Den Gyros durfte man suchen,das war eher ein Pommesteller als alles andere. Und dafür 23,50 Euro zunehmen finde ich schon dreist.Das Personal könnte auch freundlicher sein.

Das Essen (Gyros, Pommes, Kraut) war gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität, kommt aber bei diesem Gericht nicht ganz an mein favorisiertes vergleichbares Restaurant heran. Unter anderem war der Anteil Gyrosfleisch geringer als ich es gewohnt bin, was bei dem um mehr als 50% höheren Preis schon etwas traurig ist. 6,00€ zu 9,80€ Das Preisniveau ist hier für diese Art Restaurant also eher hoch. Trotzdem würde ich hier wieder essen, wenn ich hier in der Nähe bin.

Wir kommen extra von hessen nach NRW, um da essen mit zu nehmen. Sehr nettes Personal und super essen. Empfehlenswert

Super toller Laden. Sehr leckeres Essen , beste Gyros weit und breit. Kommen extra immer aus Kerpen. Super gastfreundlich , das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett und geht super auf die Kinder ein. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne.

Nach über 20 Jahren das erste Mal wieder da gewesen und war echt enttäuscht…die Dame die meine Bestellung aufgenommen hat,war überhaupt nicht freundlich auch die Tatsache das es keinen Reis gab (grundsätzlich kein Problem) hätte man durchaus freundlich mitteilen können…die Portion sind klein…schade …leider gibt es auch keine Parkplätze
