Pommes Freunde in Berlin

A rude employee who tore up my bill and still expected me to give her a new one? The food was mediocre and the atmosphere was nothing special.

It wasn't a disappointment in terms of taste. With the 'cheaper' daily menu, the water is also 50 cents more expensive, so 0.5l costs €3.50, wow, that's probably why it wasn't busy here. We certainly won't be back, no matter which city we're in. P.S. At least the two girls who served us were very friendly.

I only had one portion of loaded fries. Since they came with various Belgian sauces, I hoped the fries were also prepared Belgian style (i.e., double-fried). That wasn't the case. Instead, they were thin, flabby frozen fries that had been warmed up in a deep fryer. The portion size is just right for one person. I found the value for money to be reasonable. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go there again. If you want loaded fries, do yourself a favor and spend a few euros more for the fries.

Flat coke , rude staff and average food. Not much else to say 😀.

When I ordered a veggie burger, I was given a meat burger. However, the order was replaced, but then the fries were missing. The seller did not apologize. The price-quality ratio is expensive, I cannot recommend it.

I ordered a Trigger Chicken Menu with a sandwich, fries, and a drink. They gave me a tag and told me to wait. When I picked up my order, I didn't look closely at the sandwich, but shortly afterward they called me back to replace the menu because they had the wrong sandwich. They replaced everything even though I had already eaten part of the fries. They were lovely, and everything was truly to die for. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the Mall in Berlin!

Burger tastes good. But looks different than it is in their menu. Why? That's bad marketing practice and is disrespectful to your customers.

While on vacation, we stopped for lunch at Pomme Freunde in the Mall of Berlin. Terrible service, over 40 minutes for a hot dog and a hamburger, with three people serving and no one waiting, and when we complained, they didn't even pay attention. Poor treatment for being a tourist. We won't be back.

Bad experience. - The two employees don't get along, resulting in a lot of explanations and wasted time. - We order and wait 30 minutes. - My bottle of water is missing. I complain. I give my receipt. - I complain again. A sausage is missing. The employee tells me no. But I no longer have my receipt to show her. (No knife to eat an unsliced ​​sausage.) - We take out the pocket knife (Thanks, Victorinox). Summary: It's a failure. I don't recommend it. Note that the employee works at Pizza Hut at the same time. There's a problem.

Cool shop. I don't recommend the extra sauces that cost money, as the free ones are better.

I just wanted to say how much I love coming to Pommel Freunde! The Burger Special Chili Cheese is always so tasty, and the Chili Pommel is seriously one of the best things ever. I can’t get enough of it. On top of the great food, the staff are always so nice and make the whole place feel super welcoming. The atmosphere is really good.it’s just a fun spot to hang out and enjoy delicious food with friendly people.

Horrible! Ordered a double currywurst, just got it. Wanted a meal without a soft drink, but got it and paid for it. The soft drink dispenser was non-carbonated. Tiny portions!

I had a fantastic experience at Pommes Freunde! The food was absolutely delicious 😋the fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the variety of sauces made it even better. I also tried one of their burgers, and it was juicy, flavorful, and freshly prepared. The staff was friendly, fast, and made sure everything was just right. You can really tell they care about providing good service. The lady, cherry is a superstar all doing by herself☺️ and hardworking to make the dish even more better. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with a cool and modern vibe. It’s a great spot to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys quality street food in a fun setting! Will be back soon!

My sister and my boyfriend really loved it too—we were all impressed by the quality and taste. What made our visit even better was the outstanding service. Especially to the woman named Cherry, one of the staff members. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so easy to talk to. Simply amazing! Fries Friends in the Mall of Berlin is a real paradise for all fans of fries and street food! The fries are crispy, golden brown and perfectly seasoned - just awesome. There's also a huge selection of sauces and toppings - there's something for everyone here. The burgers and sausages are also great! The staff is super friendly and quick, everything is served with a smile. Great atmosphere, clean and modern. The perfect place for a delicious snack while shopping. I'll definitely be back - highly recommended!

Ordered thick fries, they wanted to force thin ones on me because they were just ready. It took a long time for a snack and they were also disorganized. Two sauces were out, including mayo, and were not refilled even when asked. I don't know how good the communication is because only English was spoken to me, even though I ordered in German and was responded to.

The currywurst is a disgrace for Berlin...staff only speaks English and lose track after three orders. Better go somewhere else!

A terrible fries experience. Considering that there are fries in the name, they were surprisingly bad! You couldn't enjoy the vegan currywurst either. The employees couldn't tell me where the meat was sourced from. Bad communication, bad food and therefore bad reviews. Will never come here again.

Next to the currywurst it said Halal, which is why I assumed that the currywurst itself was halal. However, I got a pork currywurst, which I only noticed because my friend told me. When I asked the employees why the currywurst says halal when it isn't halal at all, none of them could give a reasonable answer to my question because, firstly, the employees couldn't speak German and, secondly, they couldn't speak or at least understand proper English. When I wanted to discuss it with you, you told me that you were now closed and simply walked away.

The menu looks completely different than it does in reality. I was extremely shocked when I received my order! I find the meal (my order) very expensive at around €37. (See pictures) 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Very bad. Poor/difficult communication when ordering. One waitress doesn't want to talk to you and the other can't. Unfortunately the food was subpar. The hot dog burned, so you had to remove the burned skin to eat it. The fries are too salty and I have no words for the taste of the nuggets.

I would really like to give more stars, but unfortunately I can't rate what I didn't get. First of all, the positive for the 2 stars: Everything looked very clean and tidy. No dirt, dust or anything like that. And there's a cool sauce station. Now to the negative: We wanted to get something to eat here for lunch on Saturday. Unfortunately that didn't happen. We stood at the counter for about 10 minutes, no employee in sight. All we heard was voices coming from the back room of the store. Through the open door we could also see service staff talking on the phone. We also tried to draw attention to ourselves, but no one came. So we gave up and went somewhere else. I thought that was a real shame because the offer looked very appealing. But if I read the other reviews here, maybe it was a good thing that we didn't eat here.

Fries ok. Unfriendly service. No more forks. No serving. No acceptance of Sanifair vouchers.

We ordered the special curry wurst and the double curry wurst. The portions were good and taste was okay.

If you like the worst Curry Wurst in town? Then this is the place to be Tried to get attention for service, was hiding in the back! Sausages are barely grilled/roasted, the curry ketchup sauce, likely industrial 08/15 style! Asked for spicy, don’t have, barely any curry powder on top, mediocre to say the least! Fries were ok, at least something If you like a Pepsi Zero, learn how to use the machine, pressed twice for the syrup still not enough flavour, couldn’t be bothered to walk back, and of course the server doesn’t bother to give instructions! The (I assume Indian) lady, couldn’t muster a smile even if she tried, looked like she hated her job! I came a couple of years back, was better then, from now! I know what to avoid! Sad state of affairs even in the simplest of places!

Food was nice though whilst ordering there was miscommunication which caused me to have to be charged extra for what the menu advertises, when mentioning this one of the workers threw her hands up in the air and stormed off back chatting me for mentioning the extra cost.

The veggie nuggets are for the bucket. They made me throw up.

Very small portions, you won't even feel full as a woman. Service speaks very poor German. You can't pass on complaints because of a lack of understanding, and that's in our capital. Not recommended... Too bad

Prices have grown significantly. Otherwise it's okay for a fast food place, team was friendly. Upd. They started to remove bad reviews with a lawyer. I have proof that I was there - including payment history and locations in Google, so I am just lowering my rating from 3 to 1 star. Play stupid games - win stupid prizes.

I was only served in English, even though the official language is German. Problem: I don't speak this strange language. On the other hand, the food was bad. Never again.

Strange, I was warned for this original three star review!? This is how you can get good reviews... The burger was great, the waiting time was unreasonable. Considering that there are fries in the name, these were below average for my taste.

Staff needs to communicate better between them. My burger was ready but was waiting for the fries. Suddenly, one of the staff asked the other ones if someone knew whose burger it was... They worked super slow, so there were a lot of people waiting for their food. The burger was "ok". Nothing special. French fries were better, but a little too salty for my taste. I liked the sauce station. They were out of Pepsi Max :( Cheeseburger + fries + soda was 11.5 Euro.

We brought back all of our food from three people. Fries cold, soft and unseasoned. Toppings are presented in teaspoon portions and are absolutely unappetizing. Currywurst cold and not fried. The staff, who seemed to be disturbed by our private cell phone use, reacted irritably to our complaint and showed neither understanding nor insight.

The person working there said they were closed, 30 mins before their closing time.

I love your fries but I will only eat in Frankfurt I guess. The 2 employees are awfully slow and don’t look like they want to be there or give a single damn about speeding up or effort. Very sad!

The staff barely spoke German and didn't really understand me. The stand looked very attractive, but the food was more like McDonald's. The fries looked completely different on the menu than in reality. Plus points were the free sauces and drink refills. All in all, I found the price-performance level to be underground. 14.45 for a burger with fries is just too much given the quality. Simply disappointed...

Completely overwhelmed and inefficient and slow-working staff, resulting in very long waiting times and annoyed guests. My hot dog fell apart when I touched it and had way too little sauce. I like the refills for the sauces and drinks.

The bun was broken, hardly there was any guacamole.. pathetic. Their menu shown thick Patti but in reality the patties are as thin as 1 euro cheese burger from McDonald’s. I could get a lot better food at 14,45 euro in the food court. Update: just had a bite, the patty was dry, overcooked :/

Auf denn Bürgern war nur Pfeffer Fleisch und Käse bei denn Pommes waren Haare drinne . Das Personal vor Ort hatte keine Hygiene beachtet die Karten Zahlung hat 8 Minuten gedauert.

Horrible experience, I would give it zero stars. The cook burned the patty, even though the alarm was ringing. She was busy asking for a 50 cent coin from another customer while the patty sizzled to death at the grill. Also the sauce pumps are broken.

Guten Tag, Ich war gestern beim Burgerrestaurant Pommesfreunde essen. Ich habe mir einen BBQ Burger mit Süßkartoffelpommes bestellt. Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen echt nicht verstehen. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren super und es gibt viele verschiedene Soßen, die man sich selber holen kann. Jedoch waren die normalen Pommes von Freunden nicht sehr herausragend, diese wurden aber durch leckere toppings verbessert. Positiv hingegen ist, dass man sich so oft wie man will, Trinken am Automaten nachschänken kann. Kommen wir nun zum Geschmack des Burgers. Ich muss sagen, es war einer der besten Burger, die ich je gegessen habe. Frischer Salat, leckere Soßen, würziger Bacon und saftiges Fleisch, welches trotzdem kross im Smashedburgerstyle gebraten wurde. Im insgesamten Geschmack war er rund und sehr schmackhaft. Von meinen Kollegen kam auch positives Feedback. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für ne Zwischenmahlzeit zu empfehlen

Waren heute gegen 17 Uhr da. So ein sympathischer und professioneller Mitarbeiter. Hat sich entschuldigt, weil sein Deutsch nicht so gut ist. Aber wir haben das auf Englisch geregelt und im allgemeinen, kann man das auch per Menü regeln und zeigen was man will. Pommes , Saucen und guacamole waren ja auch mal einwandfrei!
