After the renovation, everything has a new style. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The burger was cold, and the fries were soggy and undercooked. We didn't clear our tray; all the tray return stands were full. The trash cans were full! Now there are two drive-thru lanes for ordering. It's a shame; the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. Once was enough. Cleanliness and warm burgers should be expected.

Beware, a lot of things are being left out. I ordered to go, and when I got home, I was shocked. I bought meals, and every single one was missing one or two items. The Happy Meal didn't include a toy, mayo, or a drink. My nuggets were missing the three sauces. No one answered the phone; I'm really angry.

Right now, this restaurant is just awful; the air conditioning seems to be broken. Everything here is cold—the space, the food, even some of the staff are wearing jackets. They're not even giving out napkins anymore. This is actually my favorite restaurant, but not at the moment. What a shame!

I think there are independent burger joints that make much better patties. I can't really comment on the service, because there wasn't any. And lastly: I think there are nicer branches of this burger chain.

Absolutely appalling – I wouldn't wish such a McDonald's experience on anyone. After a long Sunday evening, my family and I were at the drive-thru of this branch and placed an order worth about €50. Despite there being only four cars ahead of us, we had to wait over 30 minutes. For a drive-thru, that's already outrageous. When we finally received our food and arrived home about 15 minutes later, we discovered that we had received the completely wrong order. Mistakes happen – the problem, however, is how it was handled here. We immediately drove back and explicitly demanded a fresh order, as our food would have been cold by then. Furthermore, our order included personalized items, so it was clearly evident whether it was being freshly prepared or not. What followed was simply outrageous: After a mere 15 seconds, we were handed supposedly "newly prepared" food – obviously cold, soggy, and definitely not fresh. When we rightfully refused, the staff reacted arrogantly, condescendingly, and completely unprofessionally. No willingness to compromise, no understanding, no customer service whatsoever. In the end, we had no choice but to cancel the order and demand a refund. A McDonald's that can't even process an order correctly, honestly rectify mistakes, and treat customers with respect simply doesn't deserve its name. Quality, service, and organization: a complete and utter failure. We will definitely avoid this branch.

December 14, 2025 - Around 11 PM, we arrived and placed our order. After a 20-25 minute wait, on the way home, we reached into the bag and found a completely different order. This has happened to me several times now, but we've had enough. We drove back, and I was honestly quite angry because the food isn't exactly cheap. Despite this, I mustered up my courage, politely approached the drive-thru window, pointed out the problem, and said I wanted my order back. I returned everything untouched, and they spent six minutes trying to figure out why I had the wrong order. It was obvious: the employees had given me the wrong order and the correct one to someone else. Then the store managers were called. As someone not working, I had to tell them, "Guys, it's obvious the employees gave me the wrong order. Please take care of my order, and if it's lying around, I want my order fresh." The supervisor responded, in a somewhat gruff tone, "Everything is fresh here." I went to the nearest window and was handed the bag that had been sitting there for 20 minutes. I hadn't accepted it because we had just agreed that my order should be freshly prepared. Of course, I gave them real money, not torn or counterfeit bills, and I expected to receive proper food, which unfortunately seems to be a thing of the past. He took the bag back and tried to pretend he was making me new burgers, even though he was just going to repackage them. When I saw that, I was furious. I've given this place several chances now. It used to be a great spot, but I've been disappointed so often that we won't be eating there anymore, and the recent reviews speak for themselves! So I decided to cancel my order, especially given the uncleanliness, and not even during peak hours. I wonder what it's like during peak hours? No, thank you. This place is beyond saving!

Firstly, generally speaking, it's fine here, thank you; "but" unfortunately, one evening after work, my girlfriend and I waited in the car for about 15-20 minutes, and the order of service wasn't being monitored. Then, around 5:00 PM, we had to drive on because the store was closing. We searched for a fast-food place until we reached Spandau Town Hall, and the only option was McDonald's, which was open 24 hours. Ultimately, because an employee wasn't paying attention to the order of service between 4:30 and 5:00 AM, or perhaps couldn't, we lost an hour and a half. These things happen; we're human, we can make mistakes, no big deal. However, as a result, even though I'm generally satisfied, I'm giving a bad rating because of the time lost in one day! There you go…

UNBELIEVABLE SHIFT SUPERVISOR TOM! UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE FROM CERTAIN EMPLOYEES. I'm a shift supervisor myself, but I've never experienced anything like this!! Ableist and disrespectful behavior from a shift supervisor. On November 29, 2025, my friends and I (3 people) were at this branch after an 8-hour move. After placing our order and waiting 20 minutes, while other customers who arrived after us received their food, I went to the front because our number wasn't listed on the display. The shift supervisor said, "Ah, your number," and gave us two trays that were already there. The food was lukewarm, almost cold. And it had been sitting there for a while. Since we were incredibly hungry, as mentioned above, we ate without complaining. Next, the sauces were forgotten, and the employee at the counter, presumably of Arab descent, said, "I'm 100% sure they were there." And he wouldn't give me any sauces. And accused me of lying. I was already annoyed. After eating, I went to the front to order coffee and told the employee (presumably Arab) that I expected the coffee to be hot, not lukewarm to cold like the food order, which cost €52.00. Then he said, "Yes, the problem was that your food was sitting there and hadn't been brought out." He went behind the wall, or rather, behind the coffee machine, and talked to the shift manager, Tom, where Tom said, quite frankly, "Dude, are they crazy or what? They should chill out!" After I asked the employee (an Arab) who he had been talking to, and he confirmed that it was the shift manager, I asked for the shift manager's name, and he said he didn't know, started laughing, and told me to please move along... I have never experienced anything so outrageous, especially in the restaurant industry! ... Please contact me!

We've been customers at the McDonald's on Rudower Straße for years, but since the renovation and this new system, absolutely nothing works anymore. There used to be the occasional minor hiccup, but now it's complete chaos. These two new barriers have completely disrupted the entire process. You stand around at the first barrier forever, nobody responds, nobody calls you – we've waited for about 10 minutes several times just before we could even order. It's incredibly frustrating every single time. And the worst part: the orders are almost never correct. Something is always missing, no matter how simple the order is. Sometimes something is done incorrectly, sometimes something is completely mixed up – there's always some kind of mistake. You really start to wonder what's going on. The management doesn't seem to be organizing anything properly either. Everything seems totally chaotic, problems aren't really being addressed, and the service has simply gotten worse since the renovation. All in all, really disappointing. We really hope things improve soon, otherwise it's hardly worth going there at all.

When buying burgers at this branch, you have to be extremely careful that your order matches the contents of the bag – it almost never does!!! – unfortunately. Today, they've apparently changed their tactics. Order: Hamburger Royal & Big Mac – the packaging matched, so all good. But when I opened it at home: 2x Big Mac – one of them in the Hamburger Royal box!!! – what a load of rubbish – am I supposed to open everything right there, even though the packaging is correct? – And bring a scale for the fries? Here, you can only buy at the counter and have them show you everything that goes in the bag.

Since I'm in Schöneberg and go to McDonald's often, there are real differences. Unfortunately, this isn't the first, second, or third time. Unfortunately, this was not possible because one of your employees was having an extremely loud conversation with a colleague, which was clearly audible throughout the entire room. Everyone present was forced to overhear this conversation. Stopped by the McDonald’s near Premier Inn Hotel Süd a couple of times during my stay — it’s a convenient spot for a quick bite or coffee when you don’t feel like heading into the city. The place was clean and fairly modern inside, with quick service even during busier hours. The staff were polite and got the order right both times, which isn’t always guaranteed at fast-food chains. Food quality was exactly what you’d expect — consistent, fresh fries and a properly made burger. It’s also open late, which came in handy after long days out. Only downside is that it can get a bit crowded at peak times and parking spaces are limited. Overall, a reliable and easy stop for something familiar close to the hotel.

McDonald's is a matter of taste: supposedly no one goes there, but apparently business is doing very well – I quite enjoy going there sometimes. I know in advance what to expect and I'm not disappointed. That's not always the case with "normal" restaurants. - This Rudower Straße branch was recently remodeled and, in my opinion, has been designed very elegantly and attractively. The table service is good, and I've always found the employees friendly during my visits. That's why I'll definitely be back.

Update: July 29, 2025 Service as such needs to be reconsidered. Orders were brought to the table. No napkins, no lid for the Coke Zero, but an awful lot of ice and no straw. Everything was spilled, and then (only 5 items on the receipt) the second salad dressing was forgotten. What's that all about? The special offer burgers were very small and unloved. The highlight, you wouldn't believe it, was the salad. Large pieces of cucumber and tomato 🍅. I think we've reached rock bottom. Update: February 5, 2023 Unfortunately, down from 5 to a maximum of 2. OMG. Ordered the most expensive burger 🍔 and got absolute rubbish. Luckily, the McRib was as usual. When I asked the completely unmotivated staff, they only offered excuses. Too bad, things used to be different here. Then: Today I just have to give 5 points for junk food. Not for the food itself, although it was freshly prepared this time, it was the same old stuff as always. No, but for the super motivated, friendly, fast, and courteous staff. Wow. Always a greeting, always a "I'll be right with you," or I'll bring it to you. Incredible, that from a fast-food chain. I'd definitely stop by again for this kind of service (unfortunately, not my preferred chain). Please keep up the good work, and thank you for the little snack after a quick hospital visit in the evening.

For three years, they haven't been able to get the garbage problem under control here. Today, the store was at most a quarter full, while the McDrive was packed – and my food took almost 20 minutes to arrive. The burgers and fries were left to cool at the counter for over 10 minutes without being kept warm – a free interpretation of McDonald's new concept. At least they offered fresh replacements. The staff is nice, but they seem like they've mentally resigned long ago.

It's getting worse and worse. In five visits with a takeaway order, something was forgotten every time... and when you consider that 15g of Nutella costs €0.40, which corresponds to 1kg = €26.67. It's outrageous. It used to be better, management cut corners... Even after the renovation, a table reservation doesn't even work... supposedly it's no longer possible after 10 p.m., so that should be reflected in the app! Live digitalization, don't just talk about it. The 10 p.m. announcement seemed like an excuse to me... Well, we've been going there for well over 10 years, and no order has ever been correct when more than one menu item was ordered. It's not the technology's fault, although they could use the POS system to digitally check off orders, but unfortunately, this opportunity for a simple control mechanism is being squandered. But perhaps it's intentional, because that's how profits are increased. An inventory should never be accurate.

Saturday evening around 9:30 p.m., I felt like trying a Grimace Shake. All the seats outside were taken, there were screaming children everywhere, and it was a carnival atmosphere 😬, so it wasn't for people who want to eat in peace. I was here today for the first time after the renovations, and it took some getting used to. Round, large tables – great for large groups or families. The counter/service counter… where did it go? Gone, gone – no longer there. All that's left is a small niche, 1.5 meters wide, no cash register, and no screen to estimate when my meal might be ready! It has the charm of a cafeteria, but that's all it has. The next step would probably be a vending machine like in the 50s or 60s, where the food is pushed in from the back and you can take it out through the hatch at the front. Everything was better in the old days, after all...

Almost every second order is incorrect. Employees often react arrogantly when pointed out. Fries and McFlurrys are often not filled as they should be. Coke often sits next to the order being processed for so long that it tastes completely watered down by the ice cubes. Coca-Cola is often given out as Zero...very, very often.

I eat there regularly because of where I live! But human error occurs with almost every order. For example, ordering a Coke often results in a Zero, or something is missing from the order. The fries and McDonald's are always half full; rarely are they full to the fullest. It's a shame, because it used to be a very good McDonald's... We were there around 12:30 AM and were treated incredibly rudely. An employee named Michael yelled at us because we had briefly taken a flower out of a vase. It was a friend's birthday, and we were just joking. Of course, the flower wasn't meant to be taken or anything. He came straight up to us and said really loudly, "Put it back immediately, it's our decoration!" It was completely exaggerated. When we then asked him to please talk to us normally, he just told us to eat somewhere else if we didn't like it. We were truly shocked and found the whole thing very unpleasant. That's just not how you treat guests!!! We definitely won't be going there again.

I had an extremely upsetting experience at this McDonald’s branch. A staff member behaved in a clearly racist and discriminatory way toward us because we were wearing hijab. When we asked him politely to treat us with respect, he responded with, “If you don’t want to be here, then just go.” This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. We felt targeted, unwelcome, and disrespected solely because of our appearance and beliefs. No customer should have to experience such treatment. I’m reporting this incident because I believe McDonald’s, as an international brand, should hold its staff accountable for discriminatory behavior. I just had to delete my review from two years ago (I gave it 4 stars) to write a new one now. Since the renovation, this branch has been a complete disaster. We've only eaten there once since then. Trash everywhere, dirty tables, overwhelmed and slow staff. We also ordered twice through Lieferando, and both times our drinks were forgotten, and according to the restaurant, they don't send the driver back to bring the drinks. Rip-off! Today I wanted to go to the drive-thru, waited in line for 20 minutes, and didn't even get to the pump to order. I then turned around and drove home with sad children and a crying baby in the car. We then ordered (today was the second time the drink was forgotten, as mentioned above). Additionally, I was honked at, yelled at, and insulted by a delivery driver (driving a blue VW) in the McDonald's parking lot because he couldn't get through (I was in line for the drive-thru), all because someone was parked in a no-parking zone (what can I do?). We will avoid this branch, even though we live nearby. I'm just waiting for the Alboinstraße branch to reopen. 1000x better. They should take a leaf out of this book.

Bad One of the worst MCDs in the world. The food was bad and the place wasn't full. There were 20 of us there, and everyone! Everyone had trash. Poorly stocked, cold, or only half full. The place has been recently remodeled, and everyone! Almost every free table was full of trash. We had to forcefully call the manager to clean up. Then instruct people not to clean the floor, but to clear and clean the tables first. The pickup notice is poorly displayed and isn't visible anywhere. Never again MCD! We all agreed that this was our last visit.

A well-run McDonald's branch is an advantage; it's not too crowded even on Saturday lunchtimes. It's nicer after the renovation. Table service is a huge plus. You don't see any trash. Every tablet that's placed on the tray is removed as quickly as possible. UPDATE: The branch is currently closed inside for renovations. The drive-thru is open. Update: The M-Burger is really good. 👍👍👍 Super tasty and not as dry as the new one at the store with the 👑

Today I went to this McDonald's to buy a Minecraft menu that was supposed to contain a large toy. However, when I received my order, I received a small toy instead. I noticed that an employee was ready to give me the right toy, but his manager told him to only give out the small toys. When I saw this, I complained to the employee who originally wanted to give me the large toy. At that moment, the manager reacted immediately and threw the large toy to the employee to give to me instead of handing it over normally. The whole situation was strange and left the impression that the distribution of promotional toys was mismanaged. I don't know if they're trying to withhold the toys or keep them for some other purpose, but obviously they didn't want to give me what I was entitled to at first. If you're shopping here and you get a big toy, check carefully what you're getting and don't be afraid to complain

We wanted to grab a bite to eat before going to the cinema on Sunday, so we specifically checked online to see if McDonald's was open, as the other snack bars in the Gropius Passagen are closed on Sundays. According to the website, the branch is open until 11 p.m. Upon arrival, we discovered that the branch has been closed since December 30th. Our spontaneous visit to the Mendoza next door deserves 5 stars.

That was the worst thing we've had in a long time. The burgers were like something you'd get from a supermarket shelf, and the hot dog was so inedible I had to throw it away. The milkshake was good, but like everything else, extremely overpriced. I didn't expect much from the fries and wasn't disappointed... Never again.

They barely speak German, were incredibly annoyed, and unfriendly. I paid €9 for a single Coke and fries because the prices weren't listed anywhere. The ketchup was bad—since when does ketchup have white, slimy streaks? When I asked about it, no one understood me, just said "Yeah," and left. No compensation, nothing, but food poisoning is okay? I had to beg for a new order of fries after mine were covered in rotten ketchup! The fries weren't even worth the money! They didn't listen at all (they gave me a regular Coke instead of a cup). Never again, and you should avoid them too!
