Am Freitagabend sind wir kurz vor Schluss noch zum Essen vorbeigekommen. Trotz der späten Uhrzeit hat die Mitarbeiterin mit Piercing unsere Bestellungen schnell und super freundlich vorbereitet. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen :) Die neuen Burger sollt ihr auf jeden Fall probieren! 5/5

War am 07.05.26 um 16.30 hier. Essen ist wirklich OK für den Preis aber die Dame am Grill ist Mega. Superfleissig und trotz reichlich Betrieb extrem freundlich. Ich würde Sie für eine Gehaltserhöhung vorschlagen

Pommes Freunde in Passau ganz Schlimm, die Bedienung total Unfreundlich, die Burger waren Ungenießbar und die Musik war im laden laut und nicht zum aushalten. NIE WIEDER DORT!

Sehr freundliches Team dort und auch das Essen ist echt gut, aber wenn man dann sieht was man bekommt, ist es doch etwas teuer dafür.

Der Smashburger war an sich sehr lecker und die Sauce wirklich gut. Leider ist kein Gemüse im Burger enthalten, weshalb ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als nicht passend empfinde. Die Pommes waren okay. Der Chicken Burger hatte im Vergleich sehr wenig Patty, wodurch auch hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht gestimmt hat – insgesamt einfach zu teuer. Insgesamt leider enttäuschend trotz gutem Geschmack der Burger. Aber wir finden es super dass man auch draußen sitzen kann

Essen ist oke. Mitarbeiter haben uns gesehen, und haben trotzdem unser Essen nicht gemacht sie haben erst nach 20min verstanden das wir auf unser Essen warten!

Ich habe heute was zum abholen bestellt. Zunächst steht man vor den Mitarbeitern die miteinander Ratschen und man wird erstmal nicht beachtet, obwohl mein Essen bereits in der Tüte vor Ihnen steht. Erst nachdem man die Mitarbeiter in Ihrem Gespräch stört, bekommt man sein bereits über Lieferando bezahltes Essen ausgehändigt. Die Spitze des Eisbergs war dann aber noch, dass die Bestellung nicht richtig war und mir etwas völlig anderes gegeben wurde. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich bis jetzt immer so verhalten. Als Kunde bekommt man das Gefühlt absolut nicht erwünscht zu sein.

Ein junger Mann, der mich kaum beachtet,während ich bestellen möchte und aufs Handy guckt und mich nicht versteht.Dafür aber in der Küche Privatgespräche führt. Weiter so,ganau so brauche ich das nicht.

Die Gratissaucen sind größtenteils weg. Das war für mich der einzige Grund dort überhaupt hinzugehen

Ich hatte ein Menü und Süßkartoffel-Pommes bestellt. Nach der Bestellung am Terminal und der Zahlung habe ich dann erfahren, dass Süßkartoffel-Pommes aus sind. Verstehe nicht, warum die nicht aus dem System genommen werden. Jetzt warte ich seit 30 Minuten darauf, dass ich erfahre, wie ich mein Geld zurückbekomme. Mir wurde mein Kassenbon abgenommen, ich musste die Bestellung ohne die Pommes nochmal aufgeben und bezahlen und die Dame an der Kasse telefoniert mit dem Chef, weil sie keine Ahnung hat wie die Stornierung funktioniert. Komplette Überforderung hier.

Pommesfreunde Passau ist die richtige Adresse, wenn dein Magen Stress macht. Rein, bestellen, essen, glücklich sein. Die Pommes sind knusprig, die Hot Dogs genau das, was man sich von einem schnellen Snack erhofft. Ideal für den kurzen Stopp, der dann doch länger dauert, weil man plötzlich noch eine Portion will. Was den Laden aber wirklich angenehm macht, ist der Service, vor allem Enzo. Locker, freundlich und mit genau der richtigen Mischung aus cool und aufmerksam. Kein Roboter-Modus, kein Fake-Lächeln, sondern einfach jemand, der weiß, wie man Leute gut bedient, ohne es kompliziert zu machen. Kurz gesagt: Gutes Fast Food, schnelle Küche, entspannte Atmosphäre und Service, der hängen bleibt. Ich kam wegen Hunger. Ich blieb wegen Pommes. Ich komme wieder.

Vorsicht an den Bestellterminals ist am Ende bei der Bezahlung automatisch 5% Trinkgeld eingestellt.

Was für ein toller Ort! Aber vor allem werde ich die Kellnerin Enzo nie vergessen! Ihre herzliche Art ließ uns wie zu Hause fühlen und ihre Professionalität gab uns das Gefühl, Könige zu sein. Noch nie in meinem Leben habe ich mich so willkommen gefühlt, und sie war es, die dieses Erlebnis zu einem Fünf-Sterne-Erlebnis gemacht hat! Ich hoffe, ich kann eines Tages hierher zurückkehren, nur um dieser Kellnerin für dieses Erlebnis zu danken, das ich mein Leben lang in Erinnerung behalten werde.

Das Essen war gut und Kellnerin Enzo hat mir den Tag versüßt, sie war super! Sehr fleißig und freundlich.

Wir haben Pommes bestellt, und die waren echt lecker. Ich finde, sie waren den Preis wert. Die Wartezeit war etwas länger als erwartet, aber Enzos Service hat das wieder wettgemacht! Sie war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. 😊

Die Burger sind super, aber ehrlich gesagt kommt man eigentlich wegen Enzo hierher. Enzo ist nicht nur die beste Fast-Food-Mitarbeiterin unserer Zeit, sie ist die unbestrittene Championesse aller Zeiten im Fast-Food-Bereich.

Wir fanden das Essen sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen Burger. Und eine Currywurst. Der Service von Lisa war perfekt. Sie war sehr freundlich und nett. Wir würden wieder hingehen.

Wir waren am 08.01.2026 das erste Mal bei Pommes Freunde in Passau. Bestellt haben wir unser Essen über den Bestellautomaten. Die Zubereitung ging relativ schnell und das Essen war an sich auch ganz gut. Leider wird der positive Eindruck durch die Preisgestaltung getrübt. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu dem, was man letztlich bekommt, meiner Meinung nach relativ hoch angesetzt. Für einen schnellen Snack zwischendurch stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis daher nicht ganz. Zusätzlich ist uns auf dem Kassenzettel aufgefallen, dass ohne unsere Zustimmung ein Trinkgeld in Höhe von 0,89€ oder 0,98€ (bin mir nicht mehr ganz sicher) hinzugefügt wurde, obwohl wir dies nicht ausgewählt hatten. Das hinterlässt leider einen negativen Eindruck.

Das Essen war schnell fertig, Süsskartoffel-Pommes schmeckten ganz gut, nur ziemlich salzig. Tische und Stühle waren leider nicht geputzt, was aber eher verständlich ist bei dem Kunden Aufkommen am Samstag Abend und bei der kleinen Größe des Ladens. Mitarbeiter sind Super und sagen die Bestellnummern laut und deutlich, was zu keinen Missverständnissen führt

Wir waren heute zu zweit Mittags hier etwas essen, von außen erweckt der Laden echt ein schönes Ambiente, innen jedoch wird man nach dem ersten Blick leider enttäuscht. Die Mitarbeiter ignorieren einen, sind absolut unmotiviert und haben anscheinend echt keine Lust auf ihren Job. Lange gewartet haben wir auf das Essen nicht, wir waren die einzigen zu dem Zeitpunkt im Geschäft. Auf der Suche nach einem sauberen Tisch wurden wir ebenfalls enttäuscht und haben uns mit dem kleinsten Übel zufrieden gegeben, es wäre genug Zeit gewesen die Tische mal zu säubern das steht fest, stattdessen wartet man lieber mit dem Handy in der Hand auf Feierabend. Über die Terminal Bestellung nach Trinkgeld zu fragen sollte dringend überdacht werden, etwas extra zu zahlen was man selber erledigt hat ist obsolet. In Summe schade, da ich glaube dass das Konzept Potential hat, wir kannten es bisher nicht und fanden es ansprechend.

Ich habe die Filiale von Pommes Freunde in Passau besucht und habe einen sehr zwiegespaltenen Eindruck gewonnen. Zuerst das Positive: Das Servicepersonal vor Ort ist wirklich hervorragend und hätte allein schon die volle Punktzahl verdient! Die Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und arbeiten absolut professionell. Zudem ist der gesamte Laden sehr ordentlich und sauber, was mir positiv aufgefallen ist. Auch die Geschwindigkeit der Zubereitung war beeindruckend – mein Essen war innerhalb kürzester Zeit fertig. ​Warum also nur 3 Sterne? Das liegt leider an der Preisgestaltung. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu dem, was man letztlich bekommt, relativ hoch angesetzt. Für einen schnellen Snack zwischendurch stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis meiner Meinung nach einfach nicht ganz. Während das Team vor Ort einen 5-Sterne-Job macht, sorgt die Preispolitik leider für einen faden Beigeschmack und einen Abzug in der Gesamtwertung.

Delicious food, no complications, simply great and fast, even when everything else is full!

There's a shortage of cleaning staff. The place is small. I think the fries were the last thing they gave me there; you'll see in the photos.

I usually come for a bite to eat on Wednesdays. A blonde lady and the girl with the piercing always work there. They're both super nice every time. Really great! The burgers and fries are very, very tasty. You absolutely have to try the chili cheese fries, they taste amazing!

The server was too busy staring at her phone to bring me my fries (I ended up not getting any) 😔. Plus, the music was annoying.

Truly one of the best fast food restaurants I've ever seen. You really have to go there because the food is just too good.

Unfortunately, the first impression was very dirty. The employee seemed bored and uninterested. We also received no real answer or alternative for our cold fries. Nothing here was fresh.

After five minutes at the checkout, we were completely ignored by the remarkably slow and unenthusiastic staff. We left without ordering. Management should urgently get rid of these unmotivated employees. The worst staff I have ever seen in my 55 years of life.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. We had to wait a long time for it, and then it was cold. The fries were very soggy. I won't be going back.

Ordered fries and waited 20 minutes, all the burgers were gone before 9 pm, and everything was incredibly slow. The staff seemed overwhelmed and very slow.

The food was amazing, the dips were great too, and the cocktail sauce was incredible. Plus, the server was so friendly and always smiled, even when I said something stupid and didn't understand myself. The person at the register was blonde and very nice. I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the food served was cold, and the portion sizes were meager in relation to the price.

We ordered for around €70 and were unfortunately very disappointed. The meat in the burgers was really dry, the bacon was cooked all the way through, and the sweet potato fries had an unpleasant, indefinable aftertaste. Overall, the quality of the food seemed rather substandard. For this price, we would have expected considerably more. And when we asked about it, we received only a laconic, simple apology.

It was my first time there. Currywurst with fries. The sauce was very good, the sausage was roughly cut and lukewarm. The fries were a bit hotter, not crispy. You had to go outside to the Löwenbräu restroom to use the restroom. It was a very small, separate restroom, not exactly exciting.

I've rarely experienced such unmotivated, unfriendly, and bad-tempered staff. A lady who threw the burgers together and let her bad mood show should be working a job where she doesn't have contact with customers. The buns were aggressively thrown into the toaster, and the patties were also thrown onto the grill. As she threw them, she got some cooking grease on her fingers and cursed loudly. We felt very uncomfortable in this shop and were very glad when we could finally leave. We won't be visiting the store again. Conclusion: I don't recommend this shop.

The shop looks very cozy from the outside and is very nicely decorated. As soon as I ordered, I felt like leaving. The atmosphere and service were abysmal. The employee took her frustration out on the patties and buns and assembled the burgers with equal enthusiasm. The veggie burger was delicious, and the sweet potato fries were also quite okay. Unfortunately, I didn't feel at all comfortable in the shop and won't be eating there again.

They are a little slower but they make really good food. I can highly recommend the Currywurst Hotdog. The free sauces are also nice

We were there yesterday with four people (2 children, 2 adults) for lunch. We each had fries (sweet potato and regular), a kids' box with vegetarian nuggets, and the vegan currywurst. The food itself was delicious, and it was also worth mentioning that they offer a variety of free sauces for refills – I hate having to constantly ask for ketchup and the like – so it was very good in that respect. I paid about €6 for the kids' box with fries and nuggets, and about €12 for my sweet potato with currywurst (I would have had a double currywurst, although that should have been a normal portion for me based on the size) – which I found quite expensive for the type of food, as it wasn't anything special. What bothered us most, however, was the fact that we had to move three times. There are a lot of wasps outside when the weather is nice. Of course, there's not much you can do about it, but there were still plenty of trays of leftover food on the tables, which naturally attracts the bugs. And inside, two large air conditioners blow directly onto your seats, so no matter where you sit, you're hit by an icy wind. That's extremely unpleasant and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable.

A very nice place for lunch. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely worth eating here. There's also a free sauce for the fries—about six different sauces. This is definitely recommended.

Beautiful beer garden with excellent service. Unfortunately, there are a lot of wasps, but that's okay. It's a lovely place to spend a wonderful time with cold drinks and good food.

The burgers are all good, no question. The fries there are also really tasty. But the service team there is completely disorganized and overwhelmed. We've been there several times, and often something was forgotten in our order. Employees argue behind the counter, and for what's supposed to be a "fast-food restaurant" feel, it's anything but fast and unprofessional. Even MCs has a better reputation. You wait an average of 20 minutes for your order.

The staff were very rude. We were almost finished with our food when a young man with brown hair came over and said he had to clear up and we should go inside to eat. It wasn't even 7:30. Instead of waiting the 5 minutes we needed to finish our food, they chose to do so. Especially since they don't close until 8:00. After we had finished eating (inside), the young man hadn't even finished clearing up. We wouldn't have sat there for an hour. We only had half a tray of fries between the two of us. Very annoying, since no restaurant sends customers elsewhere, especially when they don't close for another 40 minutes.

The restaurant is actually quite nice, and since I often go to Pommes Freunde in Munich's central bus station, I was expecting good food, but unfortunately, the reality was cold fries and a raw burger. Well, I didn't think it was that great :/

Please (!) train your staff! I was horrified to watch the staff clear the tables between food preparations, throw leftovers in the trash, or get food from the storage room, all without changing their gloves once (!!). Ugh! Then people/friends from outside would simply come behind the counter where the food was being prepared. They'd get hugs, a quick brush of their hair from their faces, and a scratch of their noses – also with the same gloves! And then the next patty would be placed on the burger... unbelievable. On top of that, the place was dirty, and the tables probably hadn't seen a rag in a while... Of course, I didn't eat anything.

I visited the Passau branch in November 2024. You can order at the checkout or via touchscreen terminals, similar to McDonald's. However, the preparation took noticeably longer, at least in our case. I liked that you can choose between different types of fries. In addition to regular thin fries, there are also thick fries, sweet potato fries, and fries with chili and/or cheese sauce. They also have hot dogs on the menu. They also have a variety of burgers, which weren't bad, but too expensive for me. So, Pommesfreunde is neither a fast-food competitor to McDonald's, as it's too expensive and too slow, but it's also not a proper burger joint, as the burgers didn't really impress me in terms of taste (especially for the price).

I was at my boyfriend's for a drink, and we finished off by munching on some more French fries. He told me he might have thrown up from the French fries or the movie (he's delusional). The ordering terminals are broken, but you're only informed of this after asking. So, the entire order for three people has to be repeated verbally. Apparently, the sausage cutter isn't working properly at Käsekrainer. So, only a third of the sausage was received, as the rest got stuck in the machine. It was simply covered with fries to avoid spillage.

This place is absolutely unhygienic! The staff are just as bad – they cough and sneeze into their hands and then get to work making your burger without cleaning them. No one washes their hands after handling money either. Never again!!

The technology doesn't work anyway. But of course you only find out when you ask, after you've already wasted your time. It's also a disgrace that they immediately demand a 5% tip. The service leaves a lot to be desired. The workers don't look like they enjoy working there. The machines they use to cut the sausage also didn't seem to be working properly. Half of it got stuck inside, and the workers just slapped fries on top and acted like nothing had happened, even though there was barely more than half the sausage in the food. Overpriced and not really that good quality. I won't be going back.

The burger was juicy and tasty, along with thick fries (thin ones are also available), and a large selection of free sauces in various flavors. There could have been more fries; mine also had a lot of small ones... Unfortunately, both terminals didn't work because the order was in the system and couldn't be canceled. Unfortunately, the final prices are only partially visible; it says "Burgers from x €" The staff also seemed lost, but friendly. There's room for improvement, but it's OK for a fast food joint.

Ordering through PC Stadion was unusual, but straightforward. The food was prepared quickly and freshly.

Visited the French fries for the first time today. We ordered via the self-service portal. Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel certain ingredients or order extra sauces, for example. There was also no receipt at the end. I then told the lady behind the counter that I didn't want jalapenos, which was unfortunately a bit difficult due to the employee's difficulty understanding the language, but it worked. We had loaded fries twice. The taste was very good. We had 8 wooden forks on the tray for two people. Tables and floors are dirty, but the two employees were busy with their cell phones during idle time.

Unfortunately it's not worth ordering there! We got 2 loveless unfinished burgers. The sauce, tomatoes and lettuce were completely missing. I've never seen burgers like this before. Also completely overpriced for this inferior quality. The fries were floury and undercooked. The food was cold and the delivery took extremely long. We will never order there again. Too bad for the money!

The restaurant still has a few staffing problems, but the employees they already have are absolutely friendly and accommodating. The food also tasted great. The quality of the beef would be a bit better than at Hans im Glück.

I know that Fries Friends can't get particularly good reviews at other locations. This one is an absolute exception. Although not particularly cheap, our children absolutely love the fries, the burgers and the large selection of sauces. They said they had their best burger of their life. Only the ambience leaves something to be desired. The store is very small and the seating is tight. This is also known from other fast and street food shops, but I still don't want to leave it unmentioned.

The cashier put my change into his own pocket without asking me if it was a tip.

I ordered today and 1 month ago. The order never arrived complete! When I first ordered, the cheese sauce had completely leaked out of the bag and the cola was missing. The currywurst was missing from the second order today. Which is quite funny because I wrote a note on lieferando that you should please make sure that the delivery is complete. This is a complete joke, I feel ripped off that I had to laugh during the phone call.

My girlfriend and I were here this week and both ordered burgers and fries. Her burger tasted absolutely nothing, and mine was just soggy and looked really old. The cashier was incredibly rude to the customers, and we had diarrhea and vomiting for two weeks afterward. I think it's just way too expensive for what tasted like nothing. The poor cows, I have to say.

Interesting concept. Not particularly cheap in terms of price, but within reason. Quality is really good. The chili cheeseburger fries were very convincing. The currywurst sauce was also spot on.
