A pub, just like in the old days. Bernd, the owner, is simply fantastic!!! We went there in the afternoon because the website said it was open all day (Bernd's explanation: He could only say it was fully open or fully closed – and it's better to be open than closed 😅🥰). We were lucky that Bernd was standing in front of the restaurant when we arrived. He said that although he wasn't open right now, he didn't want us to leave hungry. Isn't that incredible! Bernd is a consistently positive and extremely humorous person. The food is traditional Thuringian, as Bernd assured us. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you, dear Bernd ♥️😘

Such a filthy place! Dirt, dead flies, and cobwebs everywhere. The landlady served us wearing a dirty jacket. The paper tablecloths had oil stains... With the dirty windows, I'd rather hang a curtain. No thanks, I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. We left without eating; we'd lost our appetites.

We wanted to go out to dinner yesterday. The door was closed. We were so looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, after 1 hour of hiking, we found ourselves in front of closed doors (vacation) even though regular opening times were stated on the internet. I've been there twice and am satisfied. The current opening times need to be made more clearly visible.

My guests and I were absolutely thrilled with our lunch. All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed it. You could tell the food was fresh and cooked with love. Even the little one got a special dumpling with just sauce. The dessert was also delicious and beautifully presented. Despite it being her own birthday, the hostess was cheerful and friendly. We felt very comfortable and were very well looked after. The value for money is unbeatable. We highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the entire team 👍🏻
