We visited the restaurant today and received a very friendly welcome. It's a lovely restaurant with a pleasant ambiance and delicious Thuringian cuisine. There's plenty to choose from for all ages. You can even host a larger party on the premises. All in all, highly recommended!

Hello. We went into the inn, which didn't look very well-maintained. We wanted to be seated, but the landlady, I think the owner, had a bad cold and looked very ill, which really alarmed us. She told us we'd have to wait at least 45 minutes or come back because her husband was still out shopping—I think that's the cook. I have no idea why I should go to work with a cold like that, especially not in the hospitality industry. And if the place has been open for over two hours, the cook should be there, not out shopping. I have to say, that's completely unacceptable. A cold? Close the place when no one else is there and get the food beforehand. We left and cooked dinner at home.

We wanted to go out to dinner yesterday. The door was closed. We were so looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, after an hour of hiking, we found the doors closed (we were on vacation), even though regular opening hours were listed online. I've been there twice and was satisfied. The current opening hours need to be made more visible.

My guests and I were absolutely thrilled with our lunch. All eight of us thoroughly enjoyed it. You could tell the food was fresh and cooked with love. Even the little one got a special dumpling with just sauce. The dessert was also delicious and beautifully presented. Despite it being her own birthday, the hostess was cheerful and friendly. We felt very comfortable and were very well looked after. The value for money is unbeatable. We highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the entire team 👍🏻
