Very long waiting times on Friday evening. You have to wait almost 2 hours for your food. Otherwise everything is great.

I specifically asked what kind of orange juice they had because I didn't just want billo juice and the waitress said that it was very good orange juice, even with pieces and stuff, but as I feared it was just normal billo orange juice from Aldi. Too bad. I would have expected more honest advice... But the food was good.

American Sports Bar, the way I want it. Good food, fair prices and lots of sport on TV. An absolute must when you are in Schwenningen.

I went there on a Monday evening without a reservation and was lucky to get a free seat at a high table. The place was very crowded and therefore very loud, which is just how it is in a sports bar. The entire store is decorated with all sorts of typical US decorative items and lots of photos of US athletes and sports, but I find it lacks a consistent concept compared to other such stores. The wheat beer was fresh and tasty, the burger we ordered (including jalapenos) was mediocre because there weren't enough jalapenos and guacamole. But that's exactly what should have made it taste good. I ordered the burger (which was new to me) as a smashed burger. I don't have to have it again, I prefer the regular form because then the meat doesn't dry out as much. The meat had a very good taste. The fries were average and unfortunately too cold. The staff was very friendly but not intrusive. In total I paid around 20 euros for the burger and wheat beer. That seems average to me these days.

We were welcomed and served by an incredibly lovely waitress. My meal - Planetburger - was unfortunately totally cold and the fries that came with it were cold and definitely not crunchy. I also think it's a shame that there was no burger sauce on the burger, but ketchup had to be used. I had to wait 20 minutes for the white wine spritzer I ordered and ended up with a half-empty glass (approx. 0.18L instead of 0.25L). It's a shame because the ambience and service are really good.

Nice ambience and good food.Tried many food options and their Chicken Quesadillas is the best.Also spare ribs are worth to try.Good quantity and qulaity.Those who love sports will enjoy this place.Staffs are also friendly.

Very cool sports bar with lots of TVs. At my request, the Schalke game was shown on two televisions that I had a good view of from my seat, while the Olympics were shown on all the other screens. Great service

...tasty, incredibly delicious... - huge selection! ...first of all: reservations in the evening are essential!!! Without a reservation you stand in line and hope for a seat... Simply reserve in the morning or the day before and everything is great! The menu is comprehensive... - balanced & includes everything you could wish for at Fingerfoot..., & yes - there are also vegetarian dishes... & it's definitely very tasty too 😋 We had the "BurgerNight" on Thursday - all burgers €12.49 - "how cool is that??!!!" Since everything is prepared directly and freshly, a waiting time is to be expected! Given the rush of guests, you can expect a patient 40 to 60 minutes in the evening. Ambience... - is cozy and rustic and as long as the weather and temperatures cooperate, it's also pleasant outside! Inside there is a large bar, several large TVs on the walls... - good picture from all angles! A downer: Everyone who smokes stands outside right in front of the entrance... - which is unpleasant for non-smokers in the open area and remains so... - because the nicotine puffs take turns! A sufficient solution and space to the right/left of the outdoor area would be pleasantly helpful! Conclusion: We'll be back with a reservation because we've only started the menu with burgers and there's still a lot more to try!

Apart from the fact that I had to wait an hour for my food today, I ordered a wheat beer (0.5 l). Unfortunately, after just two sips, a bee flew into my beer. Since I was sitting outside, I politely asked if it was possible to get a new beer instead of just taking the bee out and refilling the glass. Instead of acceding to my request, another employee was called over, who cheekily replied and asked me what the problem was. I explained again that I wanted a new beer as a gesture of goodwill, even though I was aware that they didn't have to give me a new one. His answer was that it wasn't their fault that the bee flew in. I can understand that, but I don't either. Ultimately my old beer was taken away, I ordered a new one and had to pay for both. I just find it sad how a customer was treated, especially since it was only the purchase price of half a liter of wheat. A simple “Unfortunately not possible” would have been enough instead of making such a big drama out of it.

The food was plentiful and very tasty. The restaurant is very cozy and rustic.

I'm positively surprised. The ambience is quiet, you feel comfortable, the food is very good and the drink is as well. Plus, if you're a football fan then you're definitely in the right place

Great ambience Great food Service is a gamble There were 6 of us there for the last Bundesliga matchday. The food was great and there's nothing to say about the ambience. Now to the “problem” there were two different waitresses on site at lunchtime. The first service was super friendly and accommodating, everything was great. Unfortunately the other one was very unfriendly. What was true for both of them, however, was that they came far too rarely. We would have liked to drink or order something again, but no one came. We would then even have to run up to the counter and ask if anyone was coming again. Due to the problem of the lack of staff, which is prevalent anyway, and the boss can't do anything about this situation, I still give it 5 stars because the rest just fits. See you next time :)

We had a hotel nearby for business and wanted to go out for something to eat on Monday evening. That's when this location caught our eye. We were there shortly after opening time. However, we were stupidly approached at the entrance by an older lady, who made us think of getting a table without a reservation, as all the other restaurants are open on Mondays anyway. The lady put on a big show before we were given an “emergency table”. As of this writing, everything was going well so far. Nice service staff, delicious food. Unfortunately, the action at the entrance made you feel very unwelcome. We were there until 8 p.m. During this time, only half of the tables were occupied and the service was not at all busy. That's why I don't understand why people want to pet guests like that or make it clear to them that they are unwelcome. She also reacted the same way to later visitors. If you say, yes, everything is full today, sorry, or you can have a table until 8 p.m., after that it is reserved, or here is the emergency table, it may be that someone sits down if they don't have a reservation. That would be a normal answer that everyone would understand and be happy about. But not like this. When it came to tipping, I was afraid to give something because the service was top-notch, but I was afraid that the person with their advanced age and unfriendly, slightly aggressive and annoyed disposition from the beginning would also get something from it. No one has fun in a store where they treat you unwelcome. Even the food can't get rid of that.

The burgers are amazing!! The best around here. I really enjoy eating there. Cleanliness is important here and the service staff is attentive. People often ask if everything is OK. The waiting time for drinks and food is also very short. I'd be happy to come back at any time.

Always full and rightly so. Very pleasant atmosphere for an evening with the boys or a casual date. The food is varied and really tasty. The chicken wings medium are legendary and here you can find the best spare ribs far and wide. It's important to reserve early, but you can also order the food to take away, which works very well. Always my pleasure.

We were there yesterday to watch football and eat. We had the Grand Slam plate for two. Super delicious! Top service, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. This is how you imagine a sports bar. Thanks again to Luis and his colleague. We'll definitely be back!

Went to Planet Sports again after many years and it was really tasty. Offering the burgers as a smashed version is great - the remaining dishes from ribs to finger food also looked really good. Calling the fries super crunchy is a bit of a misnomer, but they were definitely tasty. The many televisions, the Bundesliga broadcast, and the ambience are also really good, unfortunately it was very loud, which made it difficult to have a conversation. And since the televisions weren't all synchronized, the sound was more like that of an American auction. All in all really good :-) The pizzas from before are unfortunately missing, but there are now enough to try after many years. Update: The second visit on a Wednesday was also good - the ribs were amazing, the service was friendly, but we sat at the table for almost 30 minutes without drinks and even when the drinks were empty, the staff was sometimes there with 4 people around one around, but that wasn't interesting. If you don't proactively approach the waitresses, then no one will ask. There is still room for improvement here, then really a top location 👌

Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the wait for our food on February 18th, 2024. When it finally arrived after 1 hour, we had nothing more to complain about, the quality was TOP! The ladies in service had their hands full, but tried very hard to attend to all requests. We'll be back 😀

I think Planet is definitely an address you should visit in VS, great location, nice service and the food is really good. Spare ribs, chicken wings, and I'm especially a fan of the chicken fingers. I'll have to eat through the rest before I can judge. One star deduction only because the wings are drowning in sauce in my opinion. But as we all know, you can never please everyone. Therefore, go and judge for yourselves. I highly recommend it!

The food was really bomb and the price/performance ratio was absolutely top. The employees are super nice. We didn't like one of the seats because there was poor visibility of the televisions, so an employee found us a better spot. The interior design is absolutely impressive, so the overall package is an absolute recommendation

Das Lokal ist an für sich mit einem guten Konzept ausgestattet. Viele TV Geräte liefern Sportsendungen, es gibt einige interessante Bilder anzuschauen. Das Essen und Personal ist okay. Was wirklich stört ist der Fettgeruch im Lokal. Im Außenbereich riecht man schon altes Fett, dieses ist auch im Lokal sehr stark zu vernehmen.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe anlässlich eines DFB-Pokal-Spiels in der Sportsbar. Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt erforderlich, vor allem als Gruppe. Das Team ist sehr freundlich, sehr schnell und ausgesprochen zuvorkommend! Das Essen war üppig und fein. Es hängen zig Flatscreen im Lokal und egal wo man sitzt, man braucht sich nicht den Hals zu verrenken. Einziger klitzekleiner Manko: manche TV sind minimal langsamer mit dem Ausstrahlen, so dass teils schon gejubelt wird, wenn andere noch gespannt schauen! Es tut dem Event aber keinen Abbruch! Das Restaurant hat viele TV Geräte um Sport zu schauen. Auch ist es sehr interessant die verschiedene Accessoires an den Wänden zu bestaunen. Hatte einen Hamburger der ganz OK war. Nachteil im Restaurant, die Belüftung ist eine Katastrophe. Die Kleidung usw. riechen nach dem Besuch nach Friteusenfett.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen, die besten Spare Ribs im ganzen Umkreis. Sehr schön eingerichtet, hier kann man gut einen Abend bei leckerem Essen und Sport verbringen. Servicekräfte schwanken manchmal, es ist aber auch oft sehr voll.

Service is five star, atmosphere too and regarding food I have only one remark: Meat was a little bit overdone and dry. Portion size is more than enough.

Geiles Ambiente, einer American Sportsbar 100% würdig! Das Essen (wir hatten Burger) war sehr lecker. Lediglich das Mac'n Cheese war unserer Meinung nach irgendwie.. ob ich die gegessen hätte oder nicht, wäre leider egal gewesen. Was wir sehr vermisst haben ist eine solide Dessertkarte nach amerikanischer Art. Der Service war gut, jedoch hätten wir uns etwas Zurückhaltung bei der ersten Bestellung gewünscht. Kaum hatten wir die Jacken über den Stuhl gehangen, war schon jemand da, ohne das wir Zeit hatten die Karten zu studieren.

Mega Burger perfekte Preisleistung unbedingt reservieren. Super Personal. Es läuft Fußball ist deshalb sehr laut dennoch würden wir jederzeit wieder hin.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt . Sehr nette , aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen hat geschmeckt. Schade das es an diesem Abend keinen Nachtisch gab. Ansonsten aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Hatten einen Tisch bestellt für 4 Erwachsene und ich hatte noch nie in meinem Leben so leckere Spareribs gegessen eine mega tolle Portion und konnte statt Ofenkartoffel Pommes haben . Das Personal is mega nett schon beim Eingang zur Begrüßung sowie bei der Bestellung bis zur Verabschiedung. Da lässt man sehr gerne Trinkgeld zukommen !!!! Das Essen (sowohl geschmacklich als auch Preis-Leistungs-technisch) ist einsame Spitze. Von Planet Sports wird nie jemand hungrig nach Hause gehen. Besonders empfehlen kann ich den Chicken Burger mit Pommes. Die Einrichtung ist ist ebenfalls sehr einzigartig für Schwenningen und kreiert das Ambiente einer typischen Sportsbar. Das einzige kleinere Problem an der Einrichtung sind die 30 Fernseher, die an der Wand angebracht sind. Wenn die Kommentatoren sehr laut sind, dann lenkt das teilweise sehr krass ab. Außerdem sind mir manche Kellner/ Kellnerinnen teilweise sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell rübergekommen. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten und abgesehen davon ist das Planet Sports aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service!

Während unserer Urlaubswoche hatten wir an zwei Abenden hier gegessen und getrunken. So stellt man sich eine Sportsbar vor. Wie man es so oft in den USA vorfindet. Sehr nette Location, hervorragender, schneller Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Empfehlen können wir u.a. die Chicken Fingers mit Fries und das Tijuana Burrito Wrap mit Cole Slaw und Fries. Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt. Nochmal vielen Dank an Nicole.

Essen war extrem geil, aber die Desserts hätten noch Ausbau Potenzial. Denke dabei vielleicht an einen American cheesecake oder brownies 😁

Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal dort ... das Ambiente muss man mögen , eben eine Sports Bar immer ein Bildschirm im Blickfeld.. Bedienung freundlich und Aufmerksam .. wir haben Burger gegessen waren Schmackhaft und von der Portion Preis Leistung Sehr Gut .. einziges Manko im uG WC Bereich riecht e Sehr stark nach Fett .. dort befindet sich wohl auch die Küche .. gehen sicher wieder gern dorthin zum Essen

Die Spareribs sind meistens sehr gut. Am besten schmecken diese jedoch am Ribs Day ( Mittwoch). Die chicken wings ( terijaki) sind ebenfalls meistens echt top. Gelegentlich varriert die Menge an Soße bei den wings. Manchmal etwas trocken. Insgesamt jedoch lecker. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Weiter so

Lust auf Burger? Dann auf ins Planets! Nirgends gibt’s besseres amerikanisches Essen. Die Ribs, Wings und Burger- frisch, schmackhaft, einfach lecker. Ambiente passend zu ner Sportsbar. Service ist immer sehr fleissig und gut. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich gehe sehr gerne ins PS oder hole auch mal schnell was ab um daheim zu essen. Das Essen und die Preise passen zu 100%. Am meisten mag ich die Spare-Ribs und kann diese auch nur weiter empfehlen. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung sind ebenfalls super. Typisch amerikanische Sportbar eben. 5 Sterne. Weiter so.

Insgesamt war das Essen gut, der Burger war auch lecker. Praktisch finde ich das jeder Gast einen Zettel mit seinen Getränken und Speisen hat. Damit geht das bezahlen ruck zuck.

Not even a fan of Sports bars or "US food" but got birthhday invitation and had to go. Ok Atmosphere in fact pretty nice and very crowded place but after all and the experience main reason is the price - it is a reasonable priced place with big volume of junk food as another review said already - far away even from US quality. As long as you can't compare ok it is a different style and probably intersting for young folks to look stylish. Well for those watching their diets a bit difficult but that's another story. Not much of a beer selection either and so for lack of choice I went for the Steak that should have been a save choice at an US style sports bar. Unfortunately big mistake. I ordered a medium rare steak and even I oredered first (of 9 people) the dish came last. Had a salad on the side that was ok and finished that first although a bit sweet dressing and no choice but than got surprised by a real well done dry Steak. - complained and with an apology the staff took it and went back to the kitchen to get me another one. When finally everyone was finished with their meals I got the second trial that was a bit better and in teh very center of the 300g block was a bit reddish. As I didn't want the others to wait and I was hungry too I took it and confirmed it ok. It was dry fatty BUT the baked potato was real good so at least one highlight. To top the exerience imagine a sportsbar (US style) with big screens everywhere and each screen as the same Bundesliga match so a real waste of time unless you're a Bundesliga enthusiast that needs to see also unimportant games. good luck

Das "Planets" gibt es schon ewig und war früher ein absolutes Highlight. Wir war seit langem das erste mal wieder da. Das Ambiente ist immer noch das Gleiche wie bei der Eröffnung. Authentische Sports-Bar nach US-Vorbild. Vom Essen wären wir eher enttäuscht. Der Bürger hat nicht überzeugt (Paddy trocken und tod gebraten, gummihaftes Fabrikbrötchen) und die Wings sowie der Cesars-Salat waren eher durchschnittlich. Wer mit Erwartungen ala US-Burger hin geht wird enttäuscht sein. Mittlerweile bekommt man in der Stadt bessere Burger. Schade! Aber für Drinks und Sport prima!

As long as you don't expect to walk in on a Tuesday and get a table (it is football night and every table get reserved in advance) you can enjoy the local draught (Furstenburg) beer and a selection of American sports bar style dishes. My favourite was the basket of wings and fries, served Buffalo style and probably the best I have had outside the USA

Wir waren schon oft im Planets, vorzugsweise am Burgertag (Donnerstag). Wir lieben die Burger und die Preise sind absolut super! Wir hatten noch nie etwas zu bemängeln und alle, denen wir das Planets bisher gezeigt haben waren begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen!
