A cozy, clean pub with good daily specials and excellent value for money!

Unfortunately, it's getting more and more expensive. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a variety of drinks (I can recommend the draft cider).

The Irish pub is great if you want to grab a drink; the drinks and cocktails are really delicious! 🍹 Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food. The "burger" was just a meatball on toast, without a top, and I think the prices for nuggets and mozzarella sticks are too high. Absolutely recommended for drinks, but not so much for food.

Obviously being an Irish man in a different country I was drawn to this place. Very friendly staff. Free unlimited bar snacks in the form of shelled peanuts and hilariously it's expected that you toss all your discarded shells onto the floor. The Guinness is good, whiskey I thought was reasonably priced until I realised that European spirit measures are .20cl as opposed to our 35ml measures at home 😖 But all in all a great bar, great staff and as we say... The craic was mighty

Cool relaxed place even the guests know how to behave I went there with a tense feeling (I didn't know it) but was quickly taught better the people are relaxed in a good mood and nobody is looking for trouble a simple cool get-together you talk and drink together whether you are a stranger or not simply great

We've been coming to Irish for dinner for quite some time now. The service is always excellent and attentive. The ambiance is also great, including the fact that you can sit outside. However, it's clear that the quality of the food has unfortunately declined considerably. The food baskets are now so expensive compared to other restaurants that it's no longer fun to order them, especially since they consist of 75% fries, which today weren't even cooked all the way through. The most incomprehensible thing of all is that a mozzarella stick costs €3.10. That's completely excessive. It feels like the portions have gotten smaller than before, but a bit more expensive. Otherwise, everything was perfect🍀

Yuck, there was a snail in my food. When I was clearing up, I would have liked to let the nice waitress who looked after our table all evening know. Suddenly a gentleman came to clear away the food, took our plates and was gone as quickly as he came around the corner. I also didn't ask how it tasted, so unfortunately I couldn't give my opinion.

We have been enjoying coming to the Irish Pub in Villingen for years! Great atmosphere, friendly bartenders and great for spending a nice evening with friends or watching the Bundesliga. The selection of alcoholic drinks is great, a pleasure every time! Unfortunately, the quality of the food has recently declined. The difference is particularly noticeable with the fish & chips: there used to be a lot of fish and potato pieces, but today it's unfortunately more salad than anything else and the portion overall is rather disappointing. Even the “Fressplatte” for around €40 isn’t really worth the money compared to other restaurants. The dessert (especially the ice cream) remains a safe bet. A tip: definitely reserve in advance! Parking spaces are a matter of luck, we always park in the Blue Box underground car park - although drivers with significantly lowered cars should be careful at the exit. From there it's less than a 5 minute walk to the pub. Despite minor disappointments with the food, we always like to come back because of the great atmosphere, the drinks and the friendly team! Still (unfortunately only) 3 out of 5 stars.

Absolutely disappointing - never again! The portion of spareribs was an absolute disgrace: charred, dry and obviously from a frozen plastic bag, far from what you would expect at a restaurant. The high price is therefore anything but justified. But that wasn't all: the service was incredibly unprofessional and loud. When my companion didn't react for a moment, she was literally shouted at with an aggressive “HALLLOO!” – behavior that is simply unacceptable. Finally, I received my new dish with a personal message from (probably) my superior, in a downright presumptuous tone. Such treatment of guests and such poor quality are simply unacceptable. I strongly advise against eating here.

We called at short notice and got the last available table. The atmosphere is great, the employees are very friendly and quick. The food selection is very good. The taste was really great, the garlic soup is sensational. The drinks menu is also good. The prices are absolutely fine. Unfortunately we live a good hour away, otherwise we would come regularly. We can highly recommend it.

What a cool Irish pub. We had a great time here, and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in or passing through Villingen! Our waiter was a cool, very funny Polish fellow who made our already excellent experience even better. The food was excellent (I highly recommend the Beef Pie or Fish and Chips), and the theme is top-notch.

Very crowded and loud! If you don't mind that, you'll definitely feel at home here too. But with this level of noise it's almost impossible to have a conversation because you have to shout at each other to understand something. Unfortunately, it becomes unbearably stuffy and hot inside during the warm season. 🥵🫠 The service is always friendly and the order is always very quick! The food tastes absolutely amazing! 🤩 I highly recommend the burgers! I prefer to go up the map and then down again. The prices are at the typical level. Sitting outside in the summer and having a pinch is always refreshing! 🤤

Pub all' aperto molto carino per le sere d'estate, l'interno ha un arredamento tipico da pub irlandese molto bello e curato. La cucina è buona, le patate squisite. Personale molto gentile e simpatico. Adatto ai bambini con piatti pensati per loro e il vicino parco giochi rende l'attesa più sopportabile per i più piccoli, il Sergio comunque è veloce. Ottime birre. Prezzi nella Media.

Sono stata in questo posto proprio stasera por la primera vez, e mi è piaciuto molto. Sono venuta in famiglia. Il locale è molto kawaii e il cibo è veramente molto buono, tanto che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo. La qualità della cena posso dire che è 8 su 10 para mí in una scala da uno a 10, e anche il rapporto qualità prezzo posso dire che e buono perché credevamo di spendere algo más. L'unica che cosa che ho trovato un po' scomodo sono gli sgabelli, ma a parte esto lo staff è stato molto gentile e simpatico.

Not a lot Irish about it. Would love to see more GAA or sayings in Irish. The staff were really nice though and I would recommend it as a pub/ bar.

As part of a team event, we reserved a table for 10 people in the pub and pre-ordered the food. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Villingen there was a misunderstanding, we accidentally gave up everything for Tuttlingen. The employee was so courteous, informed Tuttlingen about the cancellation and looked after us. Even though it was full, she made it possible for us to get a table for 10 people. And the food arrived within 15 minutes. We are thrilled by the flexibility and friendliness. On top of that, we were rewarded with a fantastic meal 😍. All in all just TOP! Thanks for that ♥️

Over the years I've often visited this pub, usually with others. It's not really pub food as you would find in England but it's good to go with a Guinness.

Der Cheeseburger war eine Frikadelle, die mit einem Haufen Käsemix überbacken war. Durch den Käsehaufen musste ich mich bergmännisch durcharbeiten, um zur Frikadelle durchzustossen. Ich kenne Burger so nicht. Das war schon unterirdisch, dabei ist ein Cheeseburger ja echt kein Hexenwerk.

Huge Food selection, very tasty. Same goes for the Whisky Menu. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Always good, always friendly and accommodating. The Black Forest Burger is always a good tip, as is the "little coffee break" afterwards. As usual, the selection of drinks was large and top. The prices are really affordable and the quality is absolutely right. A special compliment to Christian “Chrissi”, who provides excellent service and always has an eye for something special and is very courteous. Many thanks to the entire team. We always like to come back. Update: Beef Pie, a typical Irish dish, is now one of the favorite dishes

Food always great...ambience unique...

We've eaten there a few times and it's time to give a review. Eating was always an experience, but I have to admit, I'm a meat fan. The ambience is nice, and in my opinion the service changes often. Some people give me the feeling that they are new there and radiate uncertainty. But that shouldn't be a criticism. You should make a reservation as the store is not particularly large. I can only recommend a visit.

Cozy pub with a large selection of beers, everyone there is also very nice in service. You can also eat very tasty food there. I try something different every time. Today it was the snack burger on toast with chips and salad. Just the right portion. I can also recommend the baked potatoes. Next time I'll try steak or burgers. When football is broadcast, it can get loud. But you actually know that and can adjust to it. Otherwise you can sit very comfortably almost everywhere
