Highly recommended. Super friendly service. A unique ambiance without electronic lighting. And the food is absolutely top-notch.

The service was very friendly, and the seating was very nice in the old town. But if you're hungry, you'd have to go somewhere else. You have to wait over an hour and a half for two simple pasta dishes. You basically have to get there an hour before you get hungry to order your food. There weren't many customers either.

I absolutely cannot share the positive reviews, the food tastes strongly of ready meals, I might as well go to a snack bar, when asked about criticism the boss quickly reacts cheekily and impertinently, I will never enter the shop again

I had a wonderful evening at La Nonna with my family. We're currently on vacation in Bautzen and found out about it through a YouTube video. We're glad we came here. The food was excellent, authentic, and incredibly delicious. Thank you for the great service, and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Keep up the good work, we'll definitely be back.

Apparently, we were having a bad day. I ordered pork medallions and got schnitzel (whether that's Italian is debatable). My friends got drinks with ice, and I got them without, of course. While clearing the table, half of it spilled down my back. The worst part, however, was that they charged us for an appetizer we had previously canceled because the waiter said they didn't have enough ingredients left. Staying on track a bit, even if there were three more people in the restaurant. Thanks, never again.

The atmosphere was very cozy, especially outside with the many plants. The service was very friendly and accommodating to special requests. The food was excellent, as always. The restrooms were also very clean and nice, and they also had feminine items, which not many have. Overall, it was a very nice and cozy restaurant, and we would come back anytime. For value for money, I can only say 'thumbs up'

As a family, we ate outside in beautiful summer weather, and the many plants made it a bit like a vacation. The two waiters were super friendly from the start, even when we made the table reservation over the phone. The pizza has a delicious dough, with a slightly coarser flour, and tastes fantastic. We think the prices are absolutely fair.

A small, cozy trattoria. Located on one of Bautzen's most beautiful streets. It feels like you're on vacation. Especially in summer, the outdoor area is a dream come true. A unique atmosphere. Friendliness, ambiance, and the finest flavors!

Unfortunately, the carbonara had already set and wasn't well seasoned. On the other hand, the tiramisu was delicious and the waitress was super friendly. I'll try a different dish next time.

We ordered two pizzas. The crust was delicious and crispy. The middle, unfortunately, was a bit soggy. After asking the waiter, we received the following answer: "That's how a pizza should be. As an Italian, he should know that. Selling mushy mush as a pizza isn't even worthy of a star in my opinion."

We just got two pizzas to go. It's super nice, the atmosphere is lovely, and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it.

We had a really delicious dinner in a really rustic atmosphere. The bruschetta and carpaccio as starters were amazing. All fresh ingredients and very delicately seasoned. The Parma pizza and the three kinds of meat as main courses were also extremely tasty, fresh and simply great! The portions were very large and totally appropriate for the price. We even received a handshake from the boss himself. That was very warm and we will definitely be back soon!

Delicious Neapolitan pizza, great selection. The owner comes from Sardinia - the atmosphere, food and drinks are correspondingly authentic. I bought a pizza to pick up and got a limoncello on the house during the short wait. If you want good, typically Italian food, this is the place for you! Grazie mille!

The starter was apparently charged twice by mistake. After a refund was assured over the phone, we were rudely brushed off at the door with the justification of a price increase of over 100%. We have been ordering this dish regularly in the same size for years, at a price of €15, not suddenly €30. This behavior is beyond brazen. This restaurant was by far our favorite Italian restaurant for years. The food is great, the service shocked us. We will keep our distance.

We made a reservation yesterday and were suggested several tables in the basement or on the ground floor or even upstairs. We chose a pizza vegetariania, bruschetta and a tiramisu. We really enjoyed the food. The dessert was very watered down and not at all creamy like tiramisu. The waiter asked a question “did you like the dessert?” and turned around and wanted to leave and I said - no. He was a bit confused and I said that everything tasted good except for the titamisu: he said: “for 30 years… “blah blah “tastes are different”…I can't hear anything like that anymore. Of course, tastes are different, but such an answer, sorry...then don't even ask. So…. Nevertheless, we would come again and 5 stars are deserved. Kudos to the pizza maker. We haven't eaten such good pizza in all of Italy.

Es war sehr sehr lecker! Ich hatte Spaghetti aglio e olio und ehrlich gesagt habe ich die noch nie so lecker gegessen! Es war endlich auch mal scharf und mit Oliven in dünnen Scheiben und ich glaube auch getrocknete Tomaten dabei, war es wirklich richtig köstlich! Die Pizza war auch lecker und in der Mitte schön kross und nichr so labberig wie sonst oft. Einzig vermisst habe ich vorweg ein bisschen Olivenöl mit selbstgemachtem Brot. So wie es in Berlin oft üblich ist. Aber für das Essen 💯 Punkte!

Nice place, very popular according to other guests. We ordered a pizza, I can't remember the name (with eggplant). There was not enough eggplant and overall the pizza was poor, but the dough was good (albeit quite thin). The other guests were ordering other dishes and they looked better, so we should have ordered some other dish.

Wunderschönes Ambiente. Leider bietet die Speisekarte nichts besonderes, was man bei dieser Lokalität erwarten könnte. Keine Auswahl an Desserts. Nudelgerichte waren eher mild, mussten wir nachwürzen. Das georderte Wasser konnte erst auf Nachfrage und nach Zögern namentlich benannt werden. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass es Leitungswasser war, zumal es in einem Glas serviert wurde und keine Flasche am Tisch geöffnet wurde. Für 4,50 €! Empfehlen würden wir das Restaurant nicht unbedingt.

It's great that you obviously have to steal the pictures with the food from the competition. Some of the pictures are from DaGelo right next door! It tastes much better there anyway, with a long family tradition! I would be ashamed to decorate myself with other people's feathers

En varm sommeraften med udendørs, god servering gjorde sit til, at vi følte os hensat til Italien. Maden var super lækker og betjeningen i top. Vi fik gratis limoncello, der smagte hjemmelavet.Jeg fik den bedste bruschetta nogensinde ( ud af mange) og en virkelig lækker Vitello Tonato. Min mands Carpaccio og risotto var også i topkvalitet. Stor anbefaling fra os.

When I still lived in Bautzen, I was there regularly. The food was great, the service was great and the dining room upstairs was absolutely beautiful and romantic.

Once and never again. As annual visitors to the summer theater, we chose this restaurant this year. Of course, as a precaution, a table for 6 people was reserved. When we arrived we were told that nothing was available (despite reservations). And the waitress even replied quite arrogantly that there would be no free space for 6 people. At our insistence because we had made a reservation, the owner asked us to stay in a drawing studio across the street. For us that meant sitting at several tables moved together with 8 like-minded people. This was covered with painted and written paper blankets. Drinks were then provided by the owner of this shop. The food should then be brought out of the restaurant. But it only works if someone takes an order. After going over and asking three times, the waitress graciously arrived after about an hour and the food came another hour later. However, by then the owner was where we were pushed away and forgotten four times after our food and we asked once. The food was good but I've actually eaten better. The owner told us that it often happens like that here. Nobody even showed up to pay and we politely took our money to the other side of the street. Maybe we should have forgotten that, like they did us. I've really never experienced anything like this before. Perhaps we should have read older experiences from the guests here beforehand. So they are not an isolated case. We definitely won't be coming here again.

Never experienced such bad service! We had reserved a table, but it was already taken, even though we were there 20 minutes before the reserved time. We didn't get an alternative table in the restaurant, only in the Malcafe next door (at least the service there was very nice). We waited over an hour for the food. The food was ok, but nothing more. No recommendation!

Das La Nonna ist wunderschön in einem kleinen Gässchen in der Altstadt Bautzen gelegen. Wir haben spontan angerufen und sogar direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war top und auch die Pizza/ Past klasse 🍕

The restaurant was full, it had just rained, an outdoor space was dry, that was ours. Note from the innkeeper: “Everything is full, the kitchen is taking time”. Let's accept it. All in all perfect and if you want to wait half an hour, then always again. We recommend!

We were there for dinner at Easter. The ambience was great - especially at Easter in Bautzen. Unfortunately not the spaghetti carbonara. I couldn't help but get the impression that they don't cook fresh Italian here. Sorry. I think it can be done better.

Uroges ambience and great food. I had the antipasti plate: very tasty and a large portion. Why the point deduction for service? At first I was unintentionally ignored, and the supply of drinks was also slow. But as an apology it should be said that a large family celebration was taking place at the same time and the staff were therefore under a lot of demands. So it was probably an isolated case. Therefore, overall it still gets full marks.

The first time I went there everything was fine, all the customers got grappa after dinner as an attraction, everyone was happy. But later two more times we were there, this grappa (I understand it as a sign of sincerity) was served only to regular customers. It's strange to me.

Unfortunately, there have always been difficulties with reservations when there are a few more people involved. Either the reservation was entered on the wrong day, but we all still got a place because tables were being eagerly pushed around. Reservations should be made in advance during the summer theater. However, the spaces are really limited and the waiting times are very long. However, this has been pointed out to us. Overall, the ambience and the food alone make it worth coming back here again and again.

Very warm welcome, fast and extremely friendly service. The food is super delicious. We had the lasagna Bolognese and the scampi in tomato sauce. The salad beforehand was a very good composition and only used fresh ingredients. The ambience was great. Real candles everywhere and therefore a great atmosphere. A loving facility with great attention to detail. Would go again at any time.

We really enjoyed it at La Nonna ☺️. We were able to sit at a table for 4 people in the vaulted cellar, which also had enough space. The staff very friendly, attentive and quick. The bruschetta was shared for 2 people 👍. The seafood risotto was delicious. Good value for money. Finally, a nightcap on the house, what more could you want. We'd love to come back ☺️

Ich bin relativ spät abends ins La Nonna um für mein Hotel eine Pizza to go zu bestellen. Super Service, schnell und vorallem top lecker. In einem Karton wird ne Pizza ja schnell mal so lala… die war wirklich spitze. Tipp: Pizza Parma

Freundliches Personal Essen mit genau der richtigen Menge an Geschmack, der Geschmack dieser Soße war perfekt. Die Dekoration des Gerichts war wunderschön. Man merkt, dass in jedem servierten Gericht Hingabe steckt. Das Fleisch war genau so, wie wir es bestellt hatten. Das Getränk war wunderbar. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir kommen immer wieder!

Top-Lage in Bautzen und echt leckere italienische Gerichte. Immer freundlicher Service mit persönlichen Komplimenten des sardischen Chefkochs. Mein Lieblingslokal für Risottos, Pasta und Pizza. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht. Daher empfiehlt es sich, vor allem an den Wochenenden vorher anzurufen, um eine Reservierung vorzunehmen. Der einzige Nachteil des gestrigen Besuchs war ein Tisch voller ungezogener Gäste, die den ganzen Abend über etwas jammerten, anstatt zu feiern und zu genießen. Ein Tischwechsel war leider nicht möglich, da das Restaurant voll war. Solche Situationen sind manchmal unvermeidbar, aber das nächste Mal wird es immer wieder einen schönen Abend beim Sarde (Italiener) geben.👍

Das Essen war im Groben ganz gut, das Salatdressing nur etwas versalzen. Im Allgemeinen hätte der Speise- und Getränkeservice etwas schneller verlaufen können, der Servicemitarbeiter war aber sehr freundlich. Die Bestuhlung war sehr eng, ansonsten war das Ambiente super, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant in der Bautzener Altstadt, in dem die lange Geschichte der Stadt spürbar ist. Das Essen ist ein Genuss und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Der Chef ist ein Italienisches Original, dem die authentische Esskultur seines Landes sehr am Herzen liegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Alles in allem war ich zufrieden. Essen hat geschmeckt, Portion dürfte etwas grösser sein. Service war freundlich. Das Ambiente fand ich toll, Kerzenleuchter auf jedem Tisch, leider knarrte der Holztisch bei jeder Bewegung, was mich sehr störte.

Prawdziwa włoska restauracja! Porcje ogromne, stek i cotolleta alla milanese bardzo smaczne, a carpaccio wybitne! Obsługa grzeczna i sprawna. Nie spodziewaliśmy sie znaleźć tak dobrej restauracji w Budziszynie. Jedyny mankament to zaduch w sali na dole. Polecamy!
