The food was truly delicious and the portions were generous. We dined outside, and unfortunately, it felt a bit cramped, as the chairs and tables were quite close together. Ordering was quick, and the food arrived within a reasonable timeframe. Unfortunately, we received little attention afterward. It was either because of my dogs or because she was the only server.

The staff was super friendly, and there weren't too long waits. The bruschetta and prosciutto pizza were delicious, and the beef carpaccio was equally tasty. The homemade lasagna was also good, although the lasagna sheets were a bit overcooked. Still, I highly recommend it.

A very good, family-friendly Italian restaurant in the heart of Bautzen. We had the mixed Italian appetizers, a pizza "Il Gondoliere," and tartufo for dessert. The extremely friendly and welcoming service clearly enjoyed their work; the food arrived quickly, was fresh, and phenomenally good. The atmosphere was excellent. The price was also reasonable. All in all, a solid five stars!

We waited 30 minutes for our first drinks. The service was completely overwhelmed. The food was OK, but we had a piece of metal wire in one of our dishes and a bone in our margarita. The restrooms reflected the overall lack of care in the place. Overall, very disappointing.

I ordered a beef burger from you today. As far as I understand, it's not a burger 🍔 but a baguette. Tasteless, dry, and disgusting. That's the last thing I've experienced when ordering from Bautzen.

After I was handed the menu, I had to wait quite a while for the waiter to come and take my order. I had signaled that I had made my choice by putting the card down. I was already about to leave. I even got up and went to the bar to pay. A little more attention could have helped a lot. The pizza arrived quickly, though, and it tasted very good.

Then came spaghetti all'arrabbiata – beautifully cooked al dente, wonderfully spicy, exactly my taste! What was particularly nice was the little extra amuse-bouche – a wonderful surprise and rounded off the visit. The service was fast, super friendly, and pleasantly personal. You immediately feel welcome. The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared with love – exactly what you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who wants authentic Italian food – whether as a couple, with friends, or for a cozy meal with family. Also ideal for a small, intimate date!

We've always enjoyed ordering there, and it's always been great. There's a pizza we particularly like, but there are two ingredients we don't like on the pizza: olives and pepperoni sausage! When we asked for salami instead of pepperoni sausage, they charged us an extra fee, which makes you wonder why? They leave out a sausage and replace it with regular salami, and without olives... No way out without a discussion... Today we ordered a pizza without olives, but there were olives on it, and the crust wasn't cooked through. Sad.... Unfortunately, that's the end of our favorite pizza. We won't be ordering any more!

A good restaurant right in the city center, in the pedestrian zone. The noise level outside depends on the number of people around. The seating area also slopes slightly down towards the street, which is something to be aware of if you need high chairs (which are available upon request). The food was quite good, but the topping on the tuna pizza was quite watery. There were no kids' dishes, but of course, there was something the little ones would definitely enjoy! The service was fast, but the customers didn't seem to be all that enthusiastic (perhaps it was just us—a smile wouldn't cross her face). The price-performance ratio was really decent. Overall, it was pretty good.

I ordered a pizza without mushrooms, but it still came. I spent two hours in the bathroom that evening, even though I ate the mushrooms, and there were no pizza rolls. Not a good recommendation.

The dishes from the menu were very tasty. The turmeric risotto and the nicely seasoned trout fillet tasted flawless. I would have liked more caramelized carrots but this is a small flaw that can be overlooked )) The service was also at the highest level - prompt and polite. We were served very well in the pizzeria "Gondolier"! The pizza was very tasty and inexpensive too! This pizzeria is highly recommended! Unfortunately, we don't live in Bautzen and for this reason we can't become regular guests here, but we wish the employees many more satisfied guests!

We were there recently spontaneously and were happy that we got a table without a reservation. The service is extremely nice and accommodating. The food was a dream and we immediately noticed that everything was freshly prepared. This is especially true for the salads. We ordered delivery and it was very quick (exactly 30 minutes). The price is reasonable for the portion. The pepperoni sausage pizza was very good, but the Hawaiian pizza was unfortunately a bit bland. The pieces weren't cut well, but that didn't affect the taste. The pizzas had plenty of toppings, but could have stayed in the oven for 10 seconds longer. We will order again.

Absolutely top value for money: Moderate prices (depending on the dish approx. 12-20 euros) Portions per plate: I was there with a total of 10 people and everyone had to/could have their leftover food packed up. One serving is easily enough for two people with a “normal” appetite. Selection of dishes: All regions of Greece were represented, including local specialties. Staff: Consistently polite and all age groups were represented. The same applies to other restaurant visitors. Size of the restaurant: There was more than enough space spread over two very large areas. In addition, another hall can be rented for private celebrations. If you are looking for a Greek restaurant in Bautzen I can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

We had dinner here today for our wedding anniversary. It was very tasty and the service was quite good. Serving went quickly, as it should. The food was very tasty, highly recommended the squid and the delicious pizza & lasagna. The starters like the buffalo mozzarella were very tasty and tasted great. The guest room is very nicely decorated, you can look into the kitchen, very interesting. The only thing missing was some music and a candle on the table. But we were able to overlook that.

Unfortunately we had to eat in the restaurant because the weather wasn't good. I ate a salad with tuna. It was very tasty.

I don't understand why the tables are always occupied. Food absolutely disappointing for these prices, service tries hard but fails as soon as the order is taken. The wrong food comes to the table or nothing comes. No one apologizes or pretends, no they blink their eyes and shake their heads! I would say wrong career choice. Food wah good but the service 1 person waiter in high season Sunday at lunchtime company the time is precious 2 pizza 2 hours from sitting down you're bill sorry because if someone goes there Dan has to be patient.

I have to be honest and say it's not recommended, the entrance is from the kitchen behind Reichenstrasse and there's even smoking, and maybe the food looks good but I'll never eat there

Main dish was delivered before the appetizers. They never asked for more drinks, and they didn’t pay any interest for us resulting in us bringing our empty glasses back ourselves. Finally, as the cherry on top they gave us the wrong receipt resulting in us paying way more (around €40 extra, the group we payed for by accident was way bigger than ours.) the server serving us was not very professional. The drinks and the food were nice though. But I would not reccomend eating or drinking here because everything else here sucks.

We were guided by the good reviews and were unfortunately disappointed. The food was okay, lacked spice. The service is overwhelming. There were four of us plus a child in the gondolier. At first only 3 menus came, a 4th was promised but never came. Then we were asked if we wanted any bread, olives, etc. before eating. would like to have on the house. We said yes, but never saw any olives. The bruschetta was OK. The bread is crispy and tasty, the tomatoes could have used a little salt, but that's a matter of taste. When we ordered a pizza we didn't order the peppers, but we got the pizza with peppers. We only got the robber plate for the child after asking twice. All in all, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was busy but not full. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back.

The food was delicious. The service is bottom drawer. We got the starter after 35 minutes. While we ate the starter, the main course arrived and was carelessly put down. Long waiting times for cards/orders and payment were our companion. A pity.

Super delicious food. Food was fresh and plentiful. Many options. When there's a lot going on, I feel a bit sorry for the 2 waitresses. But they do their job well. It's a shame that we didn't get the greeting from the kitchen (pizza rolls);)...we were really jealous of our neighboring table;). Otherwise you can't say anything. It's a shame that there is no children's menu.

The pizza itself was well topped and came relatively quickly, but the base was very hard and therefore difficult to cut through. The waitress seemed like she only had a partial overview, so pizzas were made twice and then taken away again. It was possible for once this evening, but I wouldn't go to this restaurant a second time.

We asked for a reservation quite late in the afternoon but were turned down 10 minutes later we got a call back because a table had become free and asked if we were interested in spending the evening there. The decision to stop in was worth it. Rarely have we had such nice service in these times and all requests were taken into account and the food was just a 10 out of 10 we didn't even finish everything. Thank you for the lovely evening
