Pizzeria Milano in Neustadt b.Coburg

We highly recommend this place; the staff is very friendly and the owner is always in a good mood. The food is delicious and scrumptious. Many thanks to the kitchen staff as well.

Update 12/17/25: After the takeover by new owners, the portion size unfortunately leaves much to be desired. The wrap is more like a galette in terms of filling. Update 04/13/23: Despite the initial disappointment, I've since tried a doner kebab here two more times and have to say that the first one may have just been a fluke or a teething problem. The bread was now crusty, the veal crispy, and the ingredients fresh. A good doner kebab (3.8 stars ⭐️)! Original review: What a shame! For over ten years, it was one of my favorite doner kebabs in the area, but it has declined significantly since the recent reopening. The salad wasn't fresh anymore, the meat wasn't crispy, and the sauce was unbearably spicy (and I often enjoy spicy food). And all of this was served in mass-produced bread. Other doner kebab shops have caught up considerably in the meantime and even surpassed it! For €6, one can expect a bit more. Unfortunately, several people I know have confirmed that my perception is correct.

As a visitor to the city of Erfurt, I called to order something to eat for myself and my wife. I was told on the phone that it wasn't possible because they didn't have a driver and it was Saturday. Then I called again and said I'd pick up the food, which went smoothly. When I got home, I opened the food and was disappointed. The fries were without ketchup, even though I had ordered it with ketchup, and were carelessly thrown into the packaging. Any toddler can make a better Bolognese, and it was cold after 5 minutes. My wife's gnocchi filled with arugula, which they were looking for, was thrown warm in a separate container, simply careless. The chicken in the gnocchi was cold and hard, as if it had been from the day before, and I paid €38.90 for it, including a tip, which was €40. Honestly, it's a disgrace. As a guest of this beautiful city, I will no longer visit this "restaurant," as the gentleman on the phone called it! At least the ice cream, which wasn't homemade either, was edible! And the farewell outside the bistro from the two employees was quite okay! Never again!

The only edible kebab in the area. I don't eat kebabs as often these days, and not just because of the price. When I do, it's here.

Dear owner. I just reviewed the new kebab stand at the Christmas factory. I met a customer here who, like me, was a regular. Please educate the reddish-haired employee on the contents of a kebab, or test your own product yourself, comparing it to the one at the Christmas factory. It's okay for a small appetite, though. Just not the price! One star for value, especially since the skewers are at least identical!

For lunch, I had a turkey kebab with rice and salad. Great quality at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

Dort schmeckt alles wirklich gut und man wird auch immer freundlich behandelt. Leider etwas zu teuer und wenn der Chef im Laden ist werden Döner und Pizzas weniger belegt.
