Pizzeria La Terrazza in Zell (Mosel)

Quite nice in itself. But the food was just as emotionless as the service. The Riesling was from Zell (answer to inquiry)...probably from a tetra pack from a local discounter.

Quiet tent, no background music. Food is fine, not top, but cheap, so price-quality is fine. At checkout they said I had to pay in cash, when I said I didn't have any cash at all an ATM came out of the closet...

Rustic pizzeria right on the Moselle beach. Very tasty food and also open in March.

Apple strudel was from supermarket frozen foods. That is not nice.

Secret tip! If everyone is already sitting in the shade on the campsite side in winter, you will still be in the sun here at 4:30 PM in the evening. Wow wow wow so do it. Just a drink is also possible! Delicious and above average food. Indian food chicken polack or something mmm a great feast for the tongue. Lots of flavor but not spicy, just great with travel and a lettuce leaf, portion good with super tender fresh chicken. Spaghetti perfectly cooked but portion a bit small. Portion of parmesan cheese is quite good because it is so expensive. If you requested bread attachment, it was fine, otherwise too little. Recommend increasing this a little by 1/3= wst costs spaghetti now; you shouldn't let that get to you. Good chef and great taste, will definitely come back for the best pizza in town. But I recommend everything so far there except the service. Was standing on my foot under the table and didn't notice. Put glasses on the table with a bang, etc... A bit clumsy but good at heart. Smooth service would do wonders for customer loyalty, including among tourists.

Schnitzel with hunter's sauce, ready-made sauce. The salad was also served with ready-made sauce. The prices are also extreme. 18 euros for a ready-made schnitzel with a few fries and the salad with ready-made sauce... never again! We paid 43.60 for 2 small portions of ready-made schnitzel, a small portion of fries and 2 0.3 liter drinks. What right do you have to rip people off like that? There was also a long telephone conversation that the whole store could hear... over 30 minutes...

A very tasty and varied meal. And if you like Indian food and want to get your fill of it, this is the right place for you. Beautiful view, directly on the Moselle. Children and dogs welcome.

We were totally thrilled, it was quick and very tasty. A great selection of pasta pizza. We were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is very modern and clean.

We were hiking on Christmas Eve. Not very clean. We were welcomed like kings. I thank them very much. And for the meal, there was nothing left on the plates. 😀

We had lunch there upon our arrival at the recommendation of our landlords and were completely satisfied. The noodles we ordered were very tasty and our request for a smaller portion was also fulfilled. Since we liked it so much, we had dinner there again the following evening with our friends who had also arrived. Here too, all four of us were very satisfied. We'd love to come back.

This was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Six of us spontaneously stopped there together after the Zeller Advent run and everyone was enthusiastic about the food and the staff. The service was very courteous and at the end there was a delicious grappa on the house! We would be happy to come back 🍕

After a few forced changes all I can say is that the food was absolutely amazing. For us it was the last visit there.

We all had pizza. It was very tasty. We were allowed to bring our dogs and were warmly welcomed. You have to look at the price-performance ratio here and you really can't complain.

The food tastes very good and is reasonably priced. . However, the drinks are relatively expensive.

The pizza we had was “edible”. I would classify these as in a normal kebab shop. The service was totally bored and always just hung on the cell phone in the corner. The ambience was subterranean, we were only in the restaurant with 2 other guests and there wasn't even quiet music playing. I have never disliked sitting in a restaurant so much. We won't be coming back even though we keep making trips to Zell

We have eaten there several times, as a couple, with 9 people, from rump steak to pizza, pasta, everything. We have been satisfied so far. Ordered a prosciotto pizza to take away today. Taste wise...well. The fact that there was baking foil under the pizza suggests that it is a ready-made pizza. Not again so soon.

Arrogant staff, the young boy who served was okay

Unsociable, lacking atmosphere. You notice that you are being served with only one purpose, eat what is presented to you, pay including as much tip as possible and leave as quickly as possible. Even the frozen pizzas and lasagna from the supermarket are prepared better and more tastefully. This was once........... but never again.

Had grilled salmon fillet with fries and salad on site today. It was very tasty and appetizingly prepared. When I asked, I was given remoulade for the fries. At the end I had a red vineyard peach liqueur because I don't like grappa. All in all, highly recommended.

The food is an absolute disaster. Pizza without any spices, the cheese without any taste, the dough the same. My wife had an Indian dish, which was the same. Here they work with cheap wholesale market goods in order to sell them at high prices. That was also the opinion of other guests. Is not recommended, a shame for the money.

Das Essen[ Pizza] war der absolute Reinfall, ohne jegliches Gewürz, billiger Großmarkt Teig ,mehr ist es nicht,für 18 € Frechheit. The drama began with the temptation to place what was actually a simple order. After we were rudely asked to place the order inside the location. Me and my willing party weren't even offered menus. After the presumed business owner bellowed loudly and incomprehensibly after us, “Pick up?!!-PICK UP?!!-PICK UP?!!!”`. After the obvious communication problem, after a disinterested pointing of the finger at the cupboard, we had to get the menus ourselves. After a very brief look at the menu at the local location, we realized that due to the lack of friendliness and the exorbitant prices, leaving the restaurant was the only option. So with a moderately loud bang I closed the menu and led myself and my company, who were no longer so willing to pay, directly to the nearest possible exit of the local restaurant. Despite the nerve-wracking encounters, it would be an advantage to give the "Pizzeria" La Terrazza a dictionary, which would improve and clarify communication.

Veel te duur voor deze regio en voor wat je krijgt. De tiramisu smaakt naar botercrème in plaats van naar tiramisu en de apfelstrudel is een klein stukje gebak dat de naam niet waard is.

Anyone expecting Italian pizza here will be disappointed. I also don't know what the point of highlighting a brick oven might be if the cook doesn't know how to use the thing. The consistency of the pizza dough has none of the fluffiness and crunchiness of an Italian pizza dough, which most people know from painful experience with frozen pizza. To compensate for this, the remaining ingredients (apart from mushrooms and the cheese spread over the pizza) only saw the oven temporarily. Peppers and onions in an almost raw state, which, combined with the fat from the salami, of course leads to a somewhat watery consistency of the (hopefully) tomato sauce. The order of toppings on an Italian pizza is: sauce, cheese, toppings, otherwise it's an Indian/Pakistani or whatever pizza. We ate pizza and of course we can't comment on the other dishes. Regarding the service: yes, definitely friendly. We ordered 1 small Bit for thirst, a large Radler and an Acolon for the pizza. Delivered: 1 small bit of non-alcoholic (well, okay for thirst; but it wasn't ordered that way), a small shandy (if things get tight we'll just order another one) and a Lambrusco. My question to the service: didn't I order Acolon? Answer: Is red wine? Me:Yes. Service: Then it's red wine. It was actually Acolon. 🥳

We were there last year for the first time and the last time. The seating there is really nice and the service is okay, but that's no use if the food is less than average. I get the pizza better at home.

Wie kommen hier 5 und 4 Sterne Bewertungen her?? Selbst 3 Sterne sind noch zu viel. Wir waren das erste mal dort, an unserem Ankunftstag. - NIE WIEDER! Das Personal schlufft gelangweilt durch die Gegend. Auf Nachfrage eines Tisches für 2 Personen kam lapidar "wo wollen". Die Speidekarte wurde uns lieblos auf den Tisch gelegt, die Bestellung mehr als gelangweilt entgegengenommen. Wir hatten Hunger auf Pizza, und schlechter geht´s ja wohl nicht mehr! Der Teig geht gar nicht, meine triefte nur so vor Öl! Ich hatte Frutti die Mare, aber das war eher Frutti die Oglio, eeekalhaft. Ich hatte echt Magenprobleme danach. Bezahlen ging dann recht zügig, aber auch hier hätte man zu dem dennoch recht großzügigen Trinkgeldes wenigstens mal "Danke" sagen können!!!! Unmöglich! Wenn man keinen Bock auf Touristen hat, sollte man dort keinen Laden aufmachen. Ein kleiner Trost ist nur, dass es anderen Leuten, die nach uns kamen genauso erging! Dieser Laden ist eine Frechheit!

How do 5 and 4 star reviews come from here? Even 3 stars are still too much. We were there for the first time on our arrival day. - NEVER AGAIN! The staff shuffle around bored. When we asked for a table for two people, the answer was succinctly "Where do you want to go?" The menu was carelessly placed on the table and the order was taken in a more than bored manner. We were hungry for pizza, and it couldn't be worse! The dough doesn't work at all, mine is just dripping with oil! I had Frutti die Mare, but that was more like Frutti die Oglio, eeecal-like. I really had stomach problems afterwards. Paying went quite quickly, but here too you could have at least said "thank you" for the still very generous tip!!!! Impossible! If you don't want tourists, you shouldn't open a shop there. The only small consolation is that other people who came after us had the same thing! This store is a disgrace!

We, as guests with the motorhome, were here for the first time yesterday. The service staff was very attentive, the pizza was a bit small in diameter but very tasteful, really tasty. The price-performance ratio in relation to the size of the pizza is still okay, hence a star deduction. We recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We come to the pizzeria once a year. Have eaten there for years and have always been very satisfied. This time we ate the salad ala chef and it was excellent, all the ingredients were very fresh. The service was courteous and there was a lot to do there. Will definitely eat there again next year.

We ordered goulash soup, pizza and gnocchi ala Queen from an extremely bored "waiter". It was all terrible - really inedible!!! Cans & frozen goods. But it was so poorly prepared that we couldn't eat it. We've never experienced anything like this before. After a clarifying conversation with the "head waiter" we were only charged for the drinks. Fair gesture - but a very bad restaurant. Not Italian either! Afterwards we found out that many residents advised against going there. I'm really, really sorry to anyone who gives this store 5 stars. Never again La Terrazza.⁰

An einem späten Montag Nachmittag sind wir hungrig in Zell (Mosel) angekommen und mussten feststellen, dass viele Lokale Ruhetag hatten. So landeten wir in genanntem Restaurant. Die Terrasse sah nett aus und wir freuten uns zuerst, doch noch so viel Glück zu haben. Weit gefehlt! Mit Kleinkind und Hund wurden wir in den altbackenen Innenraum verfrachtet. Wer denkt, man hätte uns einen Hochstuhl für unseren Sohn angeboten, irrt. Nach einem Blick auf den vorhandenen Hochstuhl, habe ich mein Kind freiwillig auf dem Schoß behalten... Zu den Pizza braucht man nicht viel sagen... Dr. Oetker ist ein ein wahrer Feinschmecker gegen diese Fett triefenden Fertigpizzen. Das Personal bestand aus einer "Herren" Riege, die ihre Kleidung offenbar bunt wählen darf. Vorgaben, wie beispielsweise ein einheitliches sauberes (!) Poloshirt, scheint es nicht zu geben. Ein älterer Mitarbeiter, der zumindest ein weißes Hemd und eine angepasste Hose trug, machte es durch sein Schlurfen in ausgelatschten Crocs wieder wett. Ein jüngerer Mitarbeiter trug unmotiviert sein Cap spazieren, als wäre er mit Selbiger lieber auf einem Rapkonzert. Den Auftrag eines anderen Mitarbeiters, welcher häufig mit verschränkten Armen in einer Ecke stand, erschließt sich uns nicht. Der missmutige Blick gepaart mit der Körperhaltung kam einem Türsteher in einer drittklassigen Diskothek gleich. Einziger Lichtblick war der Herr, der unsere Bestellung aufgenommen und am Ende kassiert hat. Er war freundlich, bemüht und hat sogar zwischendurch gelächelt. Für ihn ist der eine Stern! Für alles Andere ist dieser eine Stern noch zu viel.

We come here regularly. The food is always excellent, everything freshly prepared. You can tell that the boss has lived in Italy for a long time and, compared to other Italians in town, he's authentically Italian. The pizzas are prepared in a stone oven and are simply delicious. The "Pasta Frutti di Mare" is also highly recommended. Simply recommended!

Sorry, but the sparrows poop on our table. The friendliness is oozing... Waiter with his cap on backwards, that says it all! This is not worthy of an Italian "restaurant"!!!!

Worst service ever! Food like from a pizza taxi

Had a spontaneous meal here today. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The starter and main course were perfectly timed, with a short break in between. Pizza and pasta were perfectly prepared and very tasty. Even during the meal, the service was always attentive and friendly. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the restaurant.

Service is listless, food is simply placed on the table. The food is nothing special off the shelf. We didn't even ask if everything was okay and whether we liked it. It's actually a shame, it's a great location for the restaurant.

Snack food, chicken, salad, Indian pizza... A wide selection. We had pizza and shared a large salad with it. That was OK. The guys in service were demotivated and bored.

The pizza is edible but not "the best pizza in town" as advertised on the sign outside the door. The waiter was more than unmotivated, seemed bored and monosyllabic. It's a shame because the location directly on the Moselle offers a beautiful view of the water.

From a distance it looks like a cozy terrace in otherwise quite quiet Zell. Unfortunately, there is little entertainment here too. Perhaps that is better on the weekend. Pizza wasn't great and the wait staff found it very funny to criticize my wife's drink. Won't be coming there again anytime soon.

Nice Moselle terrace, service was fine. My chicken korma was rather mediocre. No card payment is inconvenient as a customer. Gluten free option was available upon request.

We were in this restaurant today for the first and last time. The service is absolutely listless and doesn't even look at you when you take your order. The prices are absolutely outrageous for the quality and service. The children's meal had to be redone because it was wrong. The pizza was very “crunchy” and bland, absolutely nothing like a wood-fired pizza. The crowning glory was a hair baked into the cheese from the pasta bake! Right on top. You should have seen that! The food was returned straight away and there was a brief apology, but of course the appetite was completely lost. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Nice restaurant, the owners are not Italian but probably Indian, as numerous Indian curries are offered on the first page of the menu. We ate pasta which was good. The salad was super tasty. The service was really attentive and very good and the terrace on the Moselle is of course really great. You can definitely spend pleasant hours here.

We've tried a lot of restaurants in Zell, but nowhere is it as cozy as the Pizzeria La Terrasse, the food tastes very good and everyone is friendly there 😊 always happy

Nice outdoor terrace and good service

Oh dear, unfortunately very disappointing, we just wanted to have a drink and came across this restaurant. The service was very bored, listless and unfriendly. Our coffee took a long time to arrive. It didn't taste good either, unfortunately. When we wanted to pay we were told cash only. We were very surprised because we couldn't read it anywhere. Thank God my husband had money with him, otherwise we would have to walk through Zell in the evening and look for an ATM. Not recommended

You can sit quite nicely. But the pizza is much better.

This a great place if you want to sit on a terrace looking at lovely views of the Mosel. It’s also a place you can count on being open and having a table available, even during the off-season months. The staff is friendly and welcoming, also very quick service. There’s not a lot of wine options, and the food is just okay. I’d go back knowing I’m not getting delicious food, but I will get a table, nice views, and fast and friendly service.

Staff bored and inattentive. It can happen that the starter was forgotten, but it shouldn't. The pizza is just a little better than a frozen pizza. Sorry, but that has as much to do with an Italian restaurant as Iglo has to do with star cuisine.

Delicious pizza, fresh ingredients. Dough/base wasn't great, not airy. The location of the restaurant with the terrace directly on the Moselle is of course ideal.
