Pizzeria la Rustica da Enzo in Köln

The pizza was doable, nothing special, but when it comes to the service: CATASTROPHIC. We waited over 40 minutes for three lousy pizzas. I find that absolutely disgusting. The waitress wasn't particularly polite, but she didn't stand out in a negative way either; she was still breathtakingly pretty. Furthermore, all the other guests received glass bottles, and my table only had blackheads and plastic cups. The atmosphere was disgusting. Music was playing at top volume, and some little overweight boy was singing along in a completely off-key way. I could also file a complaint for attempted murder, because my pizza (which didn't say it had chili in it) had the hottest chili pepper in the world hidden under basil. Don't go there if you want to have a nice evening.

An absolutely disappointing visit that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. First of all, we had to wait almost an hour for our pizza to finally arrive at our table – even though the place wasn't even crowded. Our drinks were then served in cheap plastic cups, which is downright embarrassing in a restaurant and seems anything but hospitable. But that wasn't all: While we were trying to enjoy our food, a little boy yelled off-key into the restaurant for minutes, as if he were a superstar. The volume was so unbearable that you could barely hear your neighbors. There was no trace of a relaxed atmosphere – more like a poorly organized karaoke bar. The absolute climax of the disaster: My colleague's pizza contained a chili that was neither on the menu nor ordered by anyone. And a really hot one at that. The result? My colleague sat there sweating and in pain instead of being able to eat in peace. This is simply unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Bottom line: long wait times, poor organization, an unenjoyable atmosphere, and then ingredients that no one ordered. For me, that's an absolute no-go. We'll definitely not be coming back here!

I've lived in Kalk for four years and have never been here... that's about to change. Absolutely top-class, it was the best pizza I've had in ages. Enzo even offered me a glass of wine on the house and was super friendly. I love Italians.

Nice little shop, very unassuming from the outside. At first, I thought it was a standard pizzeria, but the decor inside was quite cute. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the hospitality brought a little taste of Italy to the place. We were also offered free wine and a free dessert. Restrooms were clean.

I absolutely cannot recommend it. The pizza was simply completely tasteless (Margherita and salami). The owner's children - who were also waiters - were extremely unfriendly and felt annoyed that we were there with 2 small children (4 and 2 years old). Toilet super dirty. It smelled awfully like chlorine, so much so that one of the children got sick while washing their hands. Not recommended.

This pizzeria was recommended to us by friends, but unfortunately there is nothing special... on the contrary, the impression was even spoiled, the pizza was burnt, and we also ordered a salad, the waitress mixed up the salads and brought us another one, and still nothing, but she started to argue with us that we said it wrong, maybe if she had written down the order and not just remembered it, this mistake would not have happened... it's just that, on the one hand, it's not a problem, but she brought the salad, which ingredient was I I can't stand it, so it couldn't be that way, I just changed my mind when the order was already ready... well, the salad was not tasty without spices and the fact that there was olive oil and pepper on the table did not save it...

An incredibly warm, homely place with its own atmosphere! The owner is very friendly, how much effort he has invested here, the pizza is very tasty, the wine is homemade, and what huge portions for such a price. Thank you very much ❤️

Landed here on a recommendation and was really shocked. Super dirty shop, tables with plastic tablecloths not wiped down. Waitress brought five glasses at the same time, which she held against herself with her arms and dropped at the table. We would have to distribute them ourselves. Incredibly dirty menus. Pizza totally burnt on the outside, limp on the inside. Red wine that is poured into glasses from a 10l canister is inedible and tastes like dishwashing liquid. Later that evening at home all diarrhea and stomach cramps. Disgusting. The health department should urgently check the hygiene here!!!! Never again

The staff were very nice and also implemented my special request for a friend (which was not on the menu). Before the meal there was a small starter and at the end a limoncello on the house. The portions were decent and yet the taste didn't suffer because it was very tasty.

There was a hair on my pizza. 🤢 Unfortunately, the rest of the topping wasn't a highlight either: the potatoes weren't quite cooked, the salsicca was strangely light and there was no trace of spice. The pizza rolls we got were hard and dry. For dessert we had a Nutella pizza, which was probably made right next to the savory pizzas - there were pieces of spinach and onion baked into the back of the base. 😵‍💫 We can't recommend the food, it seemed carelessly prepared and there doesn't seem to be much emphasis on hygiene. Since we ordered from the delivery service and did not eat on site, we cannot rate the service and ambience.

We ordered through Lieferando and really wanted pizza rolls. Unfortunately, Lieferando doesn't have it on the "map", so I asked about it in the comments field. With the pizzas we got 2 giant bags of pizza rolls with 4 cans of sauce!! Much more than I could have imagined. Thank you thank you thank you!

I ordered a pizza and pizza rolls. The pizza arrived lukewarm, which I don't understand because the delivery containers are supposed to keep you warm, right? But it could also be because it took 20 minutes longer than stated. The edge of the pizza was burnt and the pizza itself was cut into completely misshapen pieces. For me it just tasted bland. Almost all of the pizza rolls were hard and stuck together, the garlic butter hardly tasted garlic at all but more like normal butter. Unfortunately disappointing.

No longer recommended. The visit started with dirty plates and missing glasses for our drinks. The tortellini alla panna were like the ready-made ones from the package. Carbonara was floating in oil. Pizza was OK. The crowning highlight was a long black hair in the breading of the schnitzel. They still charged €5 for this. Unfortunately a failure.

The adult waitress was probably not keen on her job, whereas the son (I think) was really nice 👍 Eating was really very tiring, I don't think anything was homemade (except for pizza), ready-made products say hello. Hair incorporated into the schnitzel breading, unripe tomatoes in the salad, decorative greens on the plates no longer quite fresh...

If bruchetta is on the menu then you should not serve pizza with split cocktail tomatoes

What they sell there in 2025 is NOT ITALIAN PIZZA!!! It tastes 1 to 1 like it comes from a cheap Indian order service. 1. The zig is a bread dough that tastes like a cheap roll and has absolutely nothing to do with pizza dough. The tomato sauce is a cheap mess, which you can tell because it is over-seasoned. No mozzarella, instead disgusting yellow grated cheese. I'm really shocked because the owners are Italian but have absolutely nothing to do with Italian pizza. We threw both pizzas in the trash and lost money because, in addition to the smell, they tasted absolutely disgusting! We're really angry that we set off for such a stinking cheap meal! I was there 2 years ago, the pizza was good, I have no idea what bad decisions they made along the way, but selling something like that is like stealing because you go to work and then get rubbish like that for the money you earned! be una vergogna per la cultura gastronomica italiana

As someone who lived in Italy it was disturbing that the pizza was burnt, the owner was shouting very loudly at the staff, it was disturbing that we were eating our pizza, I couldn't tell from the noise if we were being beaten or... not.

Ordered this twice, waited almost 3 hours for delivery, one of the 4 pizzas was completely burnt, 2 were also burnt and only 1 was edible. The extremely unfriendly woman on the phone just hangs up on you. Never again. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. Basically the place is nice. But when it's full there, the land is lost. Then nothing works there anymore. Then the cutlery is partly dirty and the food is burnt. Then you have to wait there for over an hour for your food. You get wine there as a consolation for the long waiting time. But it doesn't always taste good either. Sometimes you think you're drinking vinegar. But well, the gesture counts. Anyway... Nevertheless, if you have to wait a long time, I would expect either the price to go down a bit. It can't be that you sit there for so long and end up with a burnt pizza that's cold because it was forgotten and then you're charged the full price for it. You quickly notice that as soon as there is more going on there, everyone is overwhelmed. And that shouldn't happen. Also, the fact that sometimes one meal is brought and the other person then has to wait over half an hour for their food is simply not allowed. The store has been around for so long and we have to slowly get it under control. This is a family business, so it can take a little longer, that's ok. But not to this extent. Then I also noticed what many people mentioned here during the recession, that mostly compatriots are given preference. They then quickly have their food on the table while we still have to wait. In some cases, orders are even brought forward so that ours are put behind. However, when everything is calm there and they are not stressed, things work strangely. Food comes quickly and (almost) at the same time, nothing burnt. Then everything is ok. But you really have to change that, otherwise it won't work.

Incredibly disgusting food. I ordered a pizza fornara and a lasagne. And I have never tried to eat such bad food in my life! And probably never will again. Ordered from the store for the first time and definitely never again. Pizza was burnt and tasted sour and bitter. The lasagna just stinks and is swimming in sauce. Not at all bite-proof. Italian food is clearly something different. And I don't understand the good reviews at all. Absolute garbage…

We ordered pizza in the evening and the delivery was wrong. After the call, the delivery person came back with the correct pizzas. The pizza we couldn't eat was burnt.

So let's start with the positive: the staff is friendly. The cutlery was wrapped in kitchen paper. There were glasses dripping wet. We had some returned because we thought they were used. Really disgusting. The pizzas were all burnt and carelessly prepared. The coating was not well distributed. Rocket all in one pile too. Gnocci tasted like a ready meal. The pizza bread was hard. The toilets were dirty. The paper should be disposed of in trash cans. Beer is only available in bottles. So it's more of a snack bar with seating than anything else.

I can only recommend very, very tasty pizza!! What is sometimes annoying is the loud music or karaoke evenings. But eat GREAT Above all, I can highly recommend the funghi pizza 😍🤌🏽

If you're hungry you should order somewhere else! 1 hour wait and after 2 hours the pizzas came. Unfortunately the pizzas were cold. There was a hair in one of them, the pizzas were all burnt...it went on to say that the pizza had 4 cheese rocket salad on it...the pizza had ham parmesan rocket...the parmesan was replaced by Gouda cheese and the rocket salad was put in the oven...tasty is something else...it's a shame...

Alora... Mussels were ordered at the lecture. These were bought fresh and two portions were prepared. One with white wine and one with tomato sauce. My girlfriend and I love mussels and thought we had already eaten the best ones. We can't believe it. Tasted so incredibly good. Here you can get one of the best pizzas in the city anyway. Are so excited. 😋

When it comes to pizzas, there are very different views, from the fluffy, extremely hot and short-baked Neapolitan version to the "biscuity" Roman pizza. What comes to the table at Enzo is somewhere in between, it is a variant that is not too dry, but still crispy and usually not "mushy" in the middle. I would say a pizza that both Germans and Italians (both groups frequent this restaurant) like. And I really like them so much. The restaurant is friendly and familiar, even if you haven't been there for a few months, you are immediately recognized and greeted in a friendly manner. I haven't lived in Cologne for a while now, but every time I come home I plan to visit Enzo.

La Rustica is a real Italian pizzeria that rarely exists anymore. The food is really damn tasty too.

Absolutely recommended, great price-performance ratio in a family atmosphere, always a pleasure. Today I enjoyed a really good Valentino pizza and a large cola. The wood-fired oven is simply super quick and the food comes out hot on the table. I also found out today from one of my patients that he ordered there for the first time on my recommendation and is completely thrilled with the service and the hot pizza and will order it there more often. Super friendly and family atmosphere.

To be honest, I was very skeptical at the beginning after we were given paper cups with our bottled drinks; some of the service staff didn't seem like they had a good overview of the orders. The stone oven pizza was okay, but not outstanding, the long wait was served with a house wine in a paper cup to make up for it. After paying €27 by card and realizing at home that I should have only paid €23, I'm pretty upset about this rip-off. Nothing was added up, just a random sum was given, just wow. I took the menu with me because we weren't given an invoice, just the payment receipt.

I went there for dinner yesterday with my friends. I ordered penne with salmon and tomato sauce. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food at all, and neither did my friend. He ordered spaghetti with salmon and tomato sauce, but got tagliatelle. The tomato sauce was very bitter and sour in taste. I tried to improve the taste with parmesan cheese, but unfortunately to no avail. Most of the salmon pieces were fatty (or just fat from the salmon) and of poor quality. We also got bruschetta, but the bread was very hard and hard to chew. When we ordered bread a second time we got hard bruschetta again. I visit this restaurant frequently. Sometimes the food is very good, but often not. I definitely won't go there again. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. However, the staff is very nice!

I ordered for the second time today: Lasagna is super delicious. Food always arrived hot and on time. Rolls for free with a super delicious garlic dip. The delivery person was nice too. I will order again :)

We ordered 4 pizzas to take away here. The employees are incredibly nice and you are always offered a sip of red wine while you order. The waiting time was great, the Guiseppe pizza with mushrooms and onions was a 9.5/10. Unfortunately we didn't like the Contadina that much. The pizza was also a bit heavy on the stomach but that could also be bad luck. Definitely come again

Came across this pizzeria by chance a few weeks ago and hit the jackpot. A smaller but super friendly shop with a feel-good atmosphere, like you're having dinner with friends. The whole family gets involved there, which we as a large family also think is great. The pizzas are all more than plentiful with very good quality side dishes, so you can't complain and the prices are really very low for what you get. We'd love to come back
