Amazing place to visit with family, staff were friendly and food extremely good!

Disappointing again!!! We actually wanted to give Losteria in Lövenich another chance, but unfortunately, we were disappointed again. Disrespectful reception. First, we had to wait without being spoken to. Someone spoke in front of us without a greeting or any indication that we would be helped immediately. Afterwards, we were seated at a dirty table. The restaurant manager that day was very unfriendly and argued with the guests instead of listening to their complaints. Starters didn't arrive as agreed. Tables and seats were not clean. Definitely not recommended.

I live right nearby, so it's super convenient to get there. The pizzas are – as always – absolutely amazing: huge, delicious, and with crispy crusts. I'd especially like to highlight the Amore Heart Collection Program – a real insider tip! Collect 175 hearts and get a free pizza – it's definitely worth it if you come often. All in all: delicious, uncomplicated, and always worth a visit!

Simply fantastic! I was at L'Osteria recently and felt completely at home. The food was super delicious – I especially loved the huge pizza! The pasta was also perfectly flavored. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and you felt truly welcome as a guest. Plus, the lovely, cozy atmosphere – ambiance—

Ate there for the umpteenth time. It was a weekday. The restaurant was well attended. We got a seat at around 5:30 p.m. without a reservation. However, you should make a reservation if you arrive after 7 p.m. All the seats were occupied. The service wasn't as attentive this time. We were able to order drinks and food quickly, but re-ordering after we received the food after about 45 minutes proved difficult. This should work better. Maybe it was because we were seated at the back of the restaurant. The pizza was, as always, very good, but the toppings could have been a little more. Unfortunately you always look for it on the pizzas. Prices were raised sharply. That wasn't so positive. On average 2 euros more for each pizza. Unfortunately there were no paper towels in the toilets again. You should really pay attention to that. The disinfectant dispensers are no longer refilled. That would still be important to me in today's catering industry. Otherwise it was nice and I will come again.

Unfortunately, the waiting times are unreasonable. It's better not to go here hungry. We had to wait over an hour for our food.

Disappointed. It used to be good, but now it can no longer accommodate the size/number of tables. Too few staff for the amount of guests. Drinks come only after the food is served; Dishes arrive with a time delay of up to ten minutes. Long waiting times and deterioration in service have unfortunately increased in recent months. We won't go there again for a while.

I know losteria is always so mediocre but we really always feel so comfortable here. It's so great here, especially with children, with the small playground and the friendly staff, who are always quick to give the children something to paint or make dough for. I can highly recommend Pizza Rustica

You had to wait a long time until you were seated at a table, several employees walked past you without saying a word, so we were about to leave. The service itself was very nice, but very hectic and stressful. Food was very tasty and came very quickly.

I almost died of thirst! Ordering drinks was very time-consuming because the service was too busy. Everything else was tip top!

We used to be fans of L'osteria, but what is expected of us here is sad. Why the Ceaser Salad is taken off the menu is inexplicable (but there is a Cesar Salad Pizza!?), but there is the great "build your own salad". So let's try to recreate the Ceaser Salad as best we can, because it was actually really good from L'osteria. There in the salad editor the first step says that the base ALWAYS consists of leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers -> Cucumbers and tomatoes were not to be found in our later salad. Since you can't choose croutons, we used walnuts as a replacement -> 3 halves made it onto the salad. So the salad only consisted of leaf lettuce, hard cheese, a little avocado and 3 walnuts for 16.95 EUR!!!!! In addition, we had to wait 30 minutes longer for the food than the time we actually ordered. When we asked for an additional Ceaser Dressing we had to pay an additional EUR 1.50. Yes, more sauce can cost extra, but if a customer pays EUR 16.95 for almost nothing but leaf lettuce, comes by to pick it up and then has to sit there and wait for another 30 minutes, then I'll give the extra sauce away. And no, you didn't get enough of this expensive creation of your own. Last but not least, the quality of the food and especially the pizza has declined overall (not only at this location). Today was definitely the last time for us to eat out at L'Osteria or order to be picked up. Too bad!

Very nice staff, but the food was quite disappointing. The noodles were watery and completely lacking in seasoning. Unfortunately, the loud salsa music didn't make you want to linger. Eating quickly and leaving straight away seems to be the motto here. Perfect for picking up a pizza (it really tastes great 👍), but unfortunately not for anything more. It's a shame ☹️

We were passing through and stopped there. Fast service, very well organized. The food was very good. We would love to come back there on our next trip.

The service is consistently friendly and prompt. The food is always equally good. Sometimes the playground is very loud because the parents leave their children to shout around alone, but L'osteria can't help that 😉

I was there with my children and small grandchild in the late afternoon. There were a lot of children there at that time. I have never experienced service staff being so friendly. No child was bothered by being in the way, every question about an extra request (like heating baby food) was answered with: "Of course, we're happy to do that." Plus, the food was really good! Nothing more is possible and I'm looking forward to the next time.

We waited forever for staff outside, even though it wasn't particularly busy. Pizza tasty but rather lukewarm. The atmosphere is cozy and the play tower is ideal for the children. :)

One star – because unfortunately zero is not possible! Our visit to this restaurant was one of the most disappointing experiences we have had in a long time. We were there in a larger group and had actually hoped to spend a relaxing evening with good food and friendly service. Instead, we were confronted with chaotic organization, long waiting times and extremely unfriendly treatment. It was clear right from the start that the service was overwhelmed. Initially only a few drinks were brought - there was no trace of the food ordered, including two pizzas and pizza rolls. After waiting for over half an hour, we asked, but nothing happened for a long time. It wasn't until about an hour (!) that we finally received the pizza rolls - and only because we had to order them again in the meantime. This level of disorganization is hard to believe. But that's not all: the responsible service employee seemed overwhelmed, disinterested and in no way tried to make up for the mistake. Friendliness or a minimum of customer service? None. No apology was made nor any attempt made to accommodate the guests. The entire evening was characterized by waiting, frustration and the feeling of not being welcome. One thing is certain for us: We will definitely not visit this restaurant a second time. Anyone who values ​​hospitality, reliability and good food is unfortunately completely out of place here.

Some of the pizzas were only lukewarm and size isn't everything, because in terms of taste it could actually be better. The appetizer platter was good, the pasta was rather boring. As other customers have already complained and have now experienced for the second time, the cola contains too little carbon dioxide. The volume is annoying, so at a larger table it is unfortunately only possible to have a conversation with the person directly next to you. Since the last price increase I think the prices are excessive, but no one else seems to mind since the restaurant was full.

I recommend L'Osteria especially for people with children - because they are very child-friendly here: crayons, children's menu, small playground outside and the noise level doesn't bother you here either. It's the ideal family restaurant - so we'll be happy to come back again and again. The food tastes okay, you shouldn't expect anything special here considering the prices and size and so far everything has always been absolutely fine.

Tasty and big pizzas, i had BBQ pizza. Lot of people and kids running everywhere. I didnt expect so good food in L'Osteria AKA "fancy mcdonald".

The staff is young and very attentive. The food is amazing. Especially the wagon wheels, which are called pizza here. Not only huge but also delicious. So 2 people would get by with 1 pizza. Addendum 8/16/22: We waited for service well over 10 minutes after placement. Were there around 6 p.m. Other guests who came after us were served. THAT hasn't happened to us yet. Very unfortunate. How are you going to make this up to me?

Cheated on points in the app!!! Sorry, today was the last time in Lövenich for the time being. We used the app when ordering and redeemed some points. After we ate and paid, we expected our bill, as always, to collect our points. However, there was no invoice. That seems very strange to me. As a rule, I get a bill in every restaurant and that is my right. When we asked how we should now collect our points, the employee told us that we should mention this before paying and that it had changed since this week with the paper invoice. Even after repeated requests for an invoice, I was not given it. Maybe I can get a competent opinion here regarding this bad experience

Great Pizza, good Pasta and nice Service. The one and only thing to complain is the noice level. The building looks nice, but does not at all allow quiet and private conversations. If you’re looking for a cosy place for your first date, chose another location.

Service is sometimes good, sometimes not so good - it takes quite a long time until you have someone from the service at the table - sometimes organizationally chaotic, if the starter comes with the main course, it's not so professional!

We come here often and mostly with friends. Today's visit was also with 12 people. At first everything was as usual, but you could already tell the stress. Drinks took longer, the rims of the glasses weren't clean We complained about it and then we knew it reacted badly on the third glass. And they brought out a box of new glasses and said water stains were normal. Yes, we know that because we have the same hard water at home. But leftover lipstick or lip bridges are simply not allowed. Really otherwise a great restaurant, delicious food and friendly I just wouldn't go there so quickly on Saturday evening

The waitress was super nice, but unfortunately she was responsible for almost the entire outside area, which wasn't possible. So I waited in vain for 40 minutes for my Cola Zero because Cola Zero was out... so the wait continued... the employees can't do anything about it, but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame because the food was delicious as always :)

Very tasty tomato cream soup with bread, very tasty bread. Pizzas just as tasty, thin dough, crispy and big enough. May be too much for some people who eat little. Salad with goat cheese and bread is also a local portion, it could be a few goat cheese thalers more. At the end the affogato (espresso with ice cream) was unfortunately not that good. The ice cream didn't taste like anything, the coffee was too cold so that the ice cream didn't slowly melt into the coffee, the coffee needs a little heat, but it shouldn't be too warm either. The coffee itself was too bitter. There is still room for improvement here. It all took a bit too long. One might expect a slightly faster service. On the whole, we said goodbye in peace. Many thanks to the service team.

The Funghi pizza was very large and tasted okay. The coffee is good too! The restaurant is easy to reach by car and that's the real advantage: meeting there and eating there.

Very good restaurant if you see the whole ambience food service together. Sometimes it takes a little too long because it is often quite full. The L‘Osteria is located in a commercial area … it has a great number of parking spaces … the restaurant is spacious. We visited during lunch time when it was not so busy … the service was attentive .. the Pizza 🍕 was quite good …but nothing special…. I guess it is a mater of personal taste

Anyone who knows the chain: (of course) everything is just as great here as in the other cities. For everyone else: There is plenty of free parking on site. Inside there are nice, different seats... whether in the winter garden or something inside, a little quieter in corners or just in the middle. It is highly recommended to choose the pizzas half and half, you then simply pay the full price of the more expensive pizza. But it's super varied. And it's also very good for checking. The waitresses are friendly and the toilet upstairs on the first floor is also quite clean and attractive.

Update January 12, 2025 And reply to owner I came here to eat again with my family, 45 minutes waiting time, although the staff was very nice, but with everything they worked for, the pizza was not edible. So dehydrated and dry that my jaw still hurts from chewing. It's a shame the topping is also very poor and poor quality, ham was cut thick like a steak and distributed in small parts like dog food. The worst thing is that after waiting 45 minutes to get food, exactly 15 minutes later the waitress cleared our table, even though the plates were half full. I'm still sitting here trying to get my account. It's really bad and that's exactly how it was last time!!! 2 pizzas and 2 drinks €41.50 An apple sauce for a child €4.50? Is this serious?

My wife and I had lunch here today. We both had a pasta dish. The food tasted very good. For dessert there was tiramisu, which was also delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the service staff are friendly, but not quite as quick. The prices for food and drink have already risen quite a bit, which is unfortunately the case in many restaurants these days.

Nice ambience! Service was very friendly. What bothered us was three people who all ordered a pizza. The three pizzas were partly cold! Since we were so hungry we had to eat them. I mentioned this to the nice waitress after clearing up. She forwarded it but to no avail no customer service. At least we could have had a tiramisu, which we ordered was very tasty, on the house :( After all, we had a bill of €75. That evening, February 15, 2025, many people complained about the cold pizzas! :( Otherwise recommended

As always, very nice service and delicious food. Unfortunately, we have noticed again and again that it is rather uncomfortable to sit there for long periods of time in the winter months because it is simply too cold. Attempts are being made to combat this with radiant heaters, unfortunately with only limited success.

It took over an hour because, according to the waiter, the pizza “broken”. The others at the table had finished eating when my pizza arrived.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we had to wait 50 minutes until we were finally seated and able to place an order. Service and service were friendly and helpful despite the overbooking. However, the system seems to be so designed for profit that every reservation is randomly accepted. This is very annoying for both the guest and the employees and should be reconsidered as a concept. There are also other hospitable restaurants.

It took another 30 minutes to get your reserved table. After that, the service was very quick, but it still took another 20 minutes until the starter was served. So it takes 1 hour from arrival to the first meal, which is just too long, especially with children. There are simply not enough staff on site, the usher runs around everywhere cleaning and preparing tables instead of instructing the guests. Otherwise the food was good but just not an experience.

The quality of the food got worse over time, while the prices kept going up. My Marinara pizza for €18 was topped with some mussels that tasted like they were at least close to flipping over. Squid, Vongole and Gamberetti, who were there in the beginning, are now completely missing. My wife specifically ordered a soup without cream. At first the soup was forgotten, then when everyone else had finished eating it was delivered with cream on top. The only positive thing was the waiter, who tried to limit the damage. In the end almost €50 for a poorly topped pizza, a carbonara and 2 waters is a joke.

We were at L’Osteria yesterday with four adults and two children to celebrate a special occasion - the birthday of one of our children. The reservation went smoothly and we were seated at a large table. But unfortunately there were a few points that marred our visit. Despite the large table, we were quite cramped and there were no children's chairs available. The children had to sit on their laps the entire time, which was uncomfortable for everyone involved. Other families in the area also searched in vain for children's chairs, which shows that there is an obvious deficit. L’Osteria is known for being family friendly and offering good value for money. It would therefore only be logical to invest in a few additional children's chairs - for example the inexpensive white chairs from IKEA. Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant, but I hope that management improves the situation with the children's chairs as soon as possible. It would make the stay for families much more pleasant. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I hope for a positive change in the future!

Usual quality, very good and large pizzas for a fair price. The pasta dishes are rather small and slightly overpriced, but taste good. The service always tries to deal with the hustle and bustle, but can also be easily overwhelmed. Which doesn't detract from that. The ambience looks a bit worn out at times. Could need some maintenance or renewal. In general I found it pleasant here.

Then you know what you have. L'Osteria giant pizza. The coating was a bit thin and watery. Unfortunately, the service had forgotten the salad that we wanted to share as a starter. I find the prices reasonable; for it being system gsstro. The store was full and therefore quite loud.

Went there with a larger group of 30 people and with a turnover of over €600 there wasn't even a coffee or digestive on the house, as is usual in other restaurants.

Authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. I was recently at L’Osteria in Cologne and I was thrilled. The pizza is huge, paper-thin and crispy – exactly how it should be. The pasta was also super tasty, freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. I was particularly impressed by the ambience: modern, yet cozy, with a touch of Italian flair. The staff was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. The waiting time was absolutely fine for the number of guests. It's definitely value for money here - especially when you consider how big the portions are! All in all a great place for dinner with friends or family. I'll definitely come back.
