Top service, very friendly staff

Tasty and big pizzas, i had BBQ pizza. Lot of people and kids running everywhere. I didnt expect so good food in L'Osteria AKA "fancy mcdonald".

The staff is young and very attentive. The food is amazing. Especially the wagon wheels, which are called pizza here. Not only huge but also delicious. So 2 people would get by with 1 pizza. Addendum 8/16/22: We waited for service well over 10 minutes after placement. Were there around 6 p.m. Other guests who came after us were served. THAT hasn't happened to us yet. Very unfortunate. How are you going to make this up to me?

Scammed out of points in the app!!! Sorry, today was my last time in Lövenich for the time being. We used the app when ordering and redeemed some points. After we ate and paid, we expected our bill, as always, which is where we collect our points. However, there was no bill. That seems very strange to me. I usually get a bill at every restaurant, and that's my right. When I asked how we should collect our points, the employee told us that we should mention this before paying and that things had changed this week with the paper bill. Even after asking again for a bill, I didn't receive one. Perhaps I can get a competent opinion here regarding this bad experience.

Fast and friendly service and delicious food

Not a culinary highlight, but solid pizza and pasta, excellent espresso, and dessert. Very friendly service. Prices are a bit high.

Great Pizza, good Pasta and nice Service. The one and only thing to complain is the noice level. The building looks nice, but does not at all allow quiet and private conversations. If you’re looking for a cosy place for your first date, chose another location.

Often very loud, so much so that you almost have to shout at each other during a conversation. Service is sometimes good, sometimes not so good – it takes quite a while to get someone from the service department to your table. Organizationally, it's sometimes chaotic; when the starter arrives with the main course, it's not very professional!

We come here often and mostly with friends. Today's visit was also with 12 people. At first everything was as usual, but you could already tell the stress. Drinks took longer, the rims of the glasses weren't clean We complained about it and then we knew it reacted badly on the third glass. And they brought out a box of new glasses and said water stains were normal. Yes, we know that because we have the same hard water at home. But leftover lipstick or lip bridges are simply not allowed. Really otherwise a great restaurant, delicious food and friendly I just wouldn't go there so quickly on Saturday evening

The waitress was super nice, but unfortunately she was responsible for almost the entire outside area, which wasn't possible. So I waited in vain for 40 minutes for my Cola Zero because Cola Zero was out... so the wait continued... the employees can't do anything about it, but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame because the food was delicious as always :)

Super friendly staff, very good offer and food

Very tasty tomato cream soup with bread, very tasty bread. Pizzas just as tasty, thin dough, crispy and big enough. May be too much for some people who eat little. Salad with goat cheese and bread is also a local portion, it could be a few goat cheese thalers more. At the end the affogato (espresso with ice cream) was unfortunately not that good. The ice cream didn't taste like anything, the coffee was too cold so that the ice cream didn't slowly melt into the coffee, the coffee needs a little heat, but it shouldn't be too warm either. The coffee itself was too bitter. There is still room for improvement here. It all took a bit too long. One might expect a slightly faster service. On the whole, we said goodbye in peace. Many thanks to the service team.

The Funghi pizza was very large and tasted okay. The coffee is good too! The restaurant is easy to reach by car and that's the real advantage: meeting there and eating there.

Very good restaurant if you see the whole ambience food service together. Sometimes it takes a little too long because it is often quite full. However, it can also happen that it takes a little longer if you sit in a half-full restaurant. One point deducted just for that reason. Overall, I can recommend everyone to go there. Addendum: Been there a few more times now. But deserves 5 stars! Addendum Today it was a real disaster. I ordered from an empty L’Osteria. Someone else ordered after me and took five guys home. And I only needed two pizzas. But they had obviously been lying there for so long that they were cold. Really bad service

The L‘Osteria is located in a commercial area … it has a great number of parking spaces … the restaurant is spacious. We visited during lunch time when it was not so busy … the service was attentive .. the Pizza 🍕 was quite good …but nothing special…. I guess it is a mater of personal taste

Anyone who knows the chain: (of course) everything is just as great here as in the other cities. For everyone else: There is plenty of free parking on site. Inside there are nice, different seats... whether in the winter garden or something inside, a little quieter in corners or just in the middle. It is highly recommended to choose the pizzas half and half, you then simply pay the full price of the more expensive pizza. But it's super varied. And it's also very good for checking. The waitresses are friendly and the toilet upstairs on the first floor is also quite clean and attractive.

Very crowded, not a good pizza and ate there twice, unfortunately both went home with a bad experience. Update January 12, 2025 And reply to owner I came here to eat again with my family, 45 minutes waiting time, although the staff was very nice, but with everything they worked for, the pizza was not edible. So dehydrated and dry that my jaw still hurts from chewing. It's a shame the topping is also very poor and poor quality, ham was cut thick like a steak and distributed in small parts like dog food. The worst thing is that after waiting 45 minutes to get food, exactly 15 minutes later the waitress cleared our table, even though the plates were half full. I'm still sitting here trying to get my account. It's really bad and that's exactly how it was last time!!! 2 pizzas and 2 drinks €41.50 An apple sauce for a child €4.50? Is this serious?

My wife and I had lunch here today. We both had a pasta dish. The food tasted very good. For dessert there was tiramisu, which was also delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the service staff are friendly, but not quite as quick. The prices for food and drink have already risen quite a bit, which is unfortunately the case in many restaurants these days.

I can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice ambience! Service was very friendly. What bothered us was three people who all ordered a pizza. The three pizzas were partly cold! Since we were so hungry we had to eat them. I mentioned this to the nice waitress after clearing up. She forwarded it but to no avail no customer service. At least we could have had a tiramisu, which we ordered was very tasty, on the house :( After all, we had a bill of €75. That evening, February 15, 2025, many people complained about the cold pizzas! :( Otherwise recommended

As always, very nice service and delicious food. Unfortunately, we have noticed again and again that it is rather uncomfortable to sit there for long periods of time in the winter months because it is simply too cold. Attempts are being made to combat this with radiant heaters, unfortunately with only limited success.

It took over an hour because, according to the waiter, the pizza “broken”. The others at the table had finished eating when my pizza arrived.

It took another 30 minutes to get your reserved table. After that, the service was very quick, but it still took another 20 minutes until the starter was served. So it takes 1 hour from arrival to the first meal, which is just too long, especially with children. There are simply not enough staff on site, the usher runs around everywhere cleaning and preparing tables instead of instructing the guests. Otherwise the food was good but just not an experience.

Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we had to wait 50 minutes until we were finally seated and able to place an order. Service and service were friendly and helpful despite the overbooking. However, the system seems to be so designed for profit that every reservation is randomly accepted. This is very annoying for both the guest and the employees and should be reconsidered as a concept. There are also other hospitable restaurants.

The quality of the food got worse over time, while the prices kept going up. My Marinara pizza for €18 was topped with some mussels that tasted like they were at least close to flipping over. Squid, Vongole and Gamberetti, who were there in the beginning, are now completely missing. My wife specifically ordered a soup without cream. At first the soup was forgotten, then when everyone else had finished eating it was delivered with cream on top. The only positive thing was the waiter, who tried to limit the damage. In the end almost €50 for a poorly topped pizza, a carbonara and 2 waters is a joke.

We were at L’Osteria yesterday with four adults and two children to celebrate a special occasion - the birthday of one of our children. The reservation went smoothly and we were seated at a large table. But unfortunately there were a few points that marred our visit. Despite the large table, we were quite cramped and there were no children's chairs available. The children had to sit on their laps the entire time, which was uncomfortable for everyone involved. Other families in the area also searched in vain for children's chairs, which shows that there is an obvious deficit. L’Osteria is known for being family friendly and offering good value for money. It would therefore only be logical to invest in a few additional children's chairs - for example the inexpensive white chairs from IKEA. Overall, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant, but I hope that management improves the situation with the children's chairs as soon as possible. It would make the stay for families much more pleasant. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I hope for a positive change in the future!

Usual quality, very good and large pizzas for a fair price. The pasta dishes are rather small and slightly overpriced, but taste good. The service always tries to deal with the hustle and bustle, but can also be easily overwhelmed. Which doesn't detract from that. The ambience looks a bit worn out at times. Could need some maintenance or renewal. In general I found it pleasant here.

Then you know what you have. L'Osteria giant pizza. The coating was a bit thin and watery. Unfortunately, the service had forgotten the salad that we wanted to share as a starter. I find the prices reasonable; for it being system gsstro. The store was full and therefore quite loud.

Went there with a larger group of 30 people and with a turnover of over €600 there wasn't even a coffee or digestive on the house, as is usual in other restaurants.

Authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. I was recently at L’Osteria in Cologne and I was thrilled. The pizza is huge, paper-thin and crispy – exactly how it should be. The pasta was also super tasty, freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. I was particularly impressed by the ambience: modern, yet cozy, with a touch of Italian flair. The staff was friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. The waiting time was absolutely fine for the number of guests. It's definitely value for money here - especially when you consider how big the portions are! All in all a great place for dinner with friends or family. I'll definitely come back.

Nice employees, but unfortunately very sparsely topped pizzas that are far too expensive.

We were at your place today to eat two pizzas and a pasta dish, the kitchen had to ring the bell at least four times and really loudly before we got the food. That's not all. Unfortunately, a friend of my wife threw over the full Coke Cola glass. We already put the napkin on it to clean it then a service person came with a not very nice look to see if we had broken something. No, it was just that a glass that had fallen over, another service person came later and broke a new glass of cola for us and later the service person who cleaned came and said to her colleague who brought us the new cola “do you really have that one now made new cola” So we could hear that, sorry but that's really not professional and then when you pay say if you want to give a tip click here or away!!! Hello, what a tip for a statement like that that she made, no thanks. First with you and last time!!!

We are here in Lövenich very often and every time we are totally thrilled by the warm and really pleasant atmosphere :) even our brown chocolate labrador Theo is recognized and warmly greeted by the friendly service team. It always feels very familiar and we always enjoy coming here to eat :)

Food good, ambience also good. But we made a reservation for 7 p.m. with 20 people and had to wait until 7:40 p.m. until we were seated because they accidentally occupied our table twice... Then they said the first round would be on them but in the end we still had to pay for half of the first round of drinks.

Had reserved for a group of 20 people. Had the upper floor to ourselves. Children had enough space to let off steam. Service super friendly lady!! Pizzas very good! The only drawback: the dish from the daily menu was “black noodles”. Normal noodles were served. When we asked, the nice waitress explained to us that no black noodles had been delivered. Too bad! Some were looking forward to black noodles. Then why is it even listed on the menu or why is it not pointed out when you order that there are no black noodles? Of course we will still come back :)

The food is top notch as always. However, for the second time, one half of the pizza was not served at the same time as the other meals. That took about 10 to 20 minutes. You don't get any information about what the problem was. I find it quite illogical why the two halves of pizza I ordered weren't baked together. You could feel a little overwhelmed when the restaurant was busy.

I had an appointment there with a friend at 2 p.m. on December 12th. It wasn't particularly crowded, but we noticed that many people were wearing coats and thick jackets. Because we were also cold, we asked if we could turn up the heating. Answer: No, it doesn't work, the heating is broken and cannot be repaired at the moment. Upon request, we were given blankets and ate while freezing. Some people left immediately. I think in such a serious case the restaurant should remain closed. Otherwise, there are certainly other ways to heat at least part of the restaurant.

The staff is very attentive and helpful. The pizzas were huge and delicious. Unfortunately we didn't like the lasagna that much.

We have been here several times after the children's swimming lessons and we have always received a friendly welcome and service. The food was very good and consistently very good quality. We'll keep getting there. And can recommend it.

The pizzas are served cold and waiting time was too much. The relationship between some of the waiters wasn't good and the food didn't taste good either, that was really terrible. 1 star is even too much.. I hope it gets better..

I spent my birthday here and it was great. The food was pretty tasty, we had pizza - it was very plentiful and of the usual top quality. The staff couldn't be friendlier and more accommodating, it was a really nice evening - thank you very much for that.

Food delicious, value for money okay, service OK. However, significantly worse compared to last year. Very cold inside, despite reservations for 10 we got a miserable, poorly thrown together table and when we asked if there was an alternative, they only gave us a mini table... We'll probably look for something else for the next Christmas party

Food was great, but the service was a disaster. I've been to many Losteria franchisees, but 15 minutes to order, and 35!!! Minutes until the table was cleared, no more dessert and no drink. And that on Monday evening...

The starter and main course were delicious. The service was unfortunately very poor, we were there for over an hour and the waiter only came once and only when called. After we finished eating, we had to wait 30 minutes even though we wanted to order something. Meanwhile the waiter just walked past us. Even when paying, no one asked if everything was OK. The service was really, really bad.

2 people at a small round table. Everyone with a pizza. Not really suitable. As the operator, I have to know something like this and I don't seat guests at such a small table to eat. Especially when I know that my favorites are the oversized pizzas. Heating in the restaurant has been out for 2 days. When the outside temperature was 3 degrees, it wasn't very warm in the restaurant. If I had been told this beforehand, I would have looked for an alternative instead of sitting in a thick jacket.

Very nice atmosphere, I felt comfortable the whole time, the waiter Jusuf was very nice and accommodating, the food and drink was top! Please keep it up.

In our opinion, this is where you get the best pizza in town. Rirsen-sized, nice and thin in the dough and cross. Everything else too - very good. Industrial style restaurant. Quite loud! Middle priced upper segment, so not cheap but not expensive either. Overall a recommendation.

Edit from 11/2024: Now our regular L'Osteria, thanks to Kadir, who does a great job here! The atmosphere is great, you feel very welcome and it's nice every time. Service was great, drinks were great and so was the food. Unfortunately, sometimes the pasta is a bit too cold and sits for too long before serving, hence only 4 stars for the food. Thank you for the great evenings with you and see you soon! First review from 2019: Pleasant atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Unfortunately, the bread was missing from the meal and we couldn't really keep up with clearing the tables. There were dishes everywhere. Unfortunately, a colleague collected the bill, so we couldn't give the young and super polite lady a tip. We would love to come back again.

It's stupid when you're the only one waiting in a huge group and the food doesn't come until everyone is ready.

Everything was great, except the reservation with the request to sit by the window or in a quiet area was not fulfilled. Therefore one star less for service. Otherwise the service and everything else was very good.

Delicious food, nice service, child-friendly.

I honestly didn't know how many stars to give here. We waited 45 minutes for our food. On a Thursday evening when there wasn't a lot of guests. This is really disappointing after an evening of work. We were told that due to the fact that we had ordered an appetizer (only 4 slices of bruschetta), the food would go into the oven after we received the appetizer. This is complete nonsense. It wasn't the first time we've been there. At least the waitress was nice and the nice gentleman who brought us the drinks was even nicer. This store lacks organization. And that upsets you so much. It's a shame, but I won't go there again!

The service is really very friendly and attentive. The location is nice, but unfortunately quite cold in winter. I left my jacket on. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us at all. The Italian spread salami is sooooo hot. This messed up my entire meal, even though I eat very spicy food on a regular basis. It was just like a sambal oelek paste and had nothing to do with salami or sausage. I still have stomach problems because of it. There was nothing spicy on the menu... I even thought about ordering extra spicy. The pizzas are large, but the toppings are quite thin. Unfortunately, the noodles were also dry and didn't taste great. It's a shame because otherwise we felt really comfortable. The open kitchen is also impressive. Only the output should be worked on + correct information in the menu, please. I would have liked to give it 4 stars but unfortunately only 3 this time because of the food and the cold in the location.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Service was very good and nice. The Risotto Funghi was very tasty and so were the pizzas, although they were a bit too big for us. And the dessert, tartufo and SOUFFLÉ AL CIOCCOLATO was very cool.

Beers today without refrigeration. Pasta was ok, but not a hit. The service came rarely and only by calling. €3.90 for a small Cafe Americano? Are you crazy? Conditionally recommended.
