Our visit to L’Osteria in Cologne-Lövenich started promisingly as we were invited in straight away and the placement went smoothly. We were even offered a choice of seating area. Unfortunately, our choice of seating turned out to be suboptimal in retrospect, as dirty wine bottles were exchanged for alcohol bottles (Aperol) in the immediate vicinity during our meal, which was not only unhygienic, but also endangered us as guests. The drinks were served relatively quickly, but the premix system for the cola was not set correctly, which is why the drink did not taste optimal. The mineral water, however, was okay. Ordering the food went smoothly, the waiter was friendly and repeated our order. The pizza came first, then the children's pizza, but we had to wait longer for the pasta because it supposedly had to be remade. Unfortunately, the bruschetta we ordered as a starter was not tasty. The pizza itself was very thin and didn't fit completely on the plate, which was questionable for hygiene reasons. The noodles came last, although they tasted pretty good, but they didn't completely convince us. Also the children's pizza, which our child did not eat completely, was not what we expected. Overall, the service was friendly and the process was relatively quick, but the quality of the drinks and food left a lot to be desired.

We gave l'Osteria another chance after being disappointed several times. This was our first time eating here. The service was terrible, completely overwhelmed and very long waiting times. Not great advice either. The location is just way too loud and completely uncomfortable. Pizza is always huge but also thin. And I will never understand why pizza is served on plates that are too small. I would like someone to show me how to cut the edge without having a plate underneath.

So people, if you have to drink from dirty glasses then the fun is over. I hope there is a manager who can be responsible for something like that!!!!'

As a regular customer, I always order Vitello tonnato as a starter and the zucchini noodles with prawns. I love it ! Unfortunately I had it on a Saturday at 6 p.m.! It was unfortunate that both were already sold out. Very surprising on one of the main evenings at this time of day. The service employee was very nice and gave me time to choose an alternative. Alternatively, I ordered the Aglio e olio with prawns and no starter. These were also delicious, but also higher in calories. We always like to come because, in addition to good food, the atmosphere is very child-friendly, with the playground in front of the door and kneading the pizza dough in-house. I hope I don't have that bad luck again. Maybe I should pre-order this when making the reservation?!

We wanted to go out to eat with a small child spontaneously and without a reservation. All tables were reserved/allocated, but we were ready to wait at the bar for the next available table. So far so good. While we were waiting, other guests came in, even without reservations, and waited briefly at the bar. Two families got a table despite the significantly shorter time, while we had to continue to wait. We had inquired several times about a table. After almost 45 minutes of waiting and the next table being given to someone else without a reservation (we probably knew each other), we drove back without eating.

I ordered Risotto Funghi as usual. Unfortunately the rice wasn't fully cooked. Risotto was full of water and not muddy as usual. The risotto grains were hard, like small pieces of sand. I returned the dish. The waiter said the chef is new. About a month later I ordered risotto again, hoping that it would be delicious this time. Unfortunately the same problem risotto returned. Under no circumstances order risotto. They can't manage that. Ordered pizza, pizza was delicious.

I ordered a tuna pizza. Imagine that the toppings are sprinkled all over the pizza but here.. No, not the case. A good 5cm from the edge it was all just gravy. Given the prices, I've never seen that before. Never ever!

UPDATE: I'm amazed. Yesterday when we visited - the restaurant wasn't fully staffed because the business was extremely busy the hours before and the employees were "walking on the gums." THIS is how I imagine leadership behavior. Not only on the backs of the employees, but also on theirs Healthy thinking. Great behavior and that kind of attitude is what I want from other employers. Perfect, one restaurant is like the other, the price/performance ratio is right. We always feel comfortable there

We came by spontaneously and immediately got a place for 6 people. The promised children's chair was never delivered. The service wasn't attentive that day. Our children were not taken into account, so we were withheld the children's ticket. We only got our hands on the card by chance. The pitiful portion of children's pasta for €5 came on a dirty plate. The noodles weren't entirely fresh either. The complaint was accepted without apology. The second portion was better. Drinks were delivered without tonic water, which was only brought to the table upon request. The overall impression of the restaurant seems to me to be rather worn. Parts of the wallpaper had been torn off on the stairs to the toilet. The underground toilet was poorly maintained. Overall I have to say that the prices are really high, the performance is low and the service is even worse. At the end there is also the fact that a guest was allowed to smoke in the restaurant. Even if it was just an e-cigarette. It just doesn't work! Diesel L'Osteria is one of the worse places you can find here. I wouldn't eat there again. Trip to Dormagen...

Very nice large hall, not so oppressive, lots of space. Super nice staff, food very tasty and the portions are great, really fill you up. The only negative point is the toilet on the 1st floor is difficult for older people. I'd love to come back!

For me, a L’Osteria restaurant is always a safe choice when it comes to delicious pizzas and pasta. The pizzas are huge and simply fantastic – crispy base, plenty of toppings and always super fresh. The pasta is also a pleasure every time, always perfectly prepared and with great sauces that have a real taste. Another plus point: the freshly tapped beer on tap. It goes perfectly with the food and rounds off the experience. I always like the atmosphere at L’Osteria – a modern and cozy atmosphere that you can find in every branch. No matter where I am, I immediately feel at home. Overall, a great restaurant that always impresses with quality and good service. 5 out of 5 stars – absolutely recommended!

Worst restaurant ever. I felt racism here. I waited almost 30 minutes just to order my food. But other people who come late can order. A girl black hair with ponytail, she saw and knew that I want to order and pay, but just ignore it.

But I have to revise the point because we were pleasantly surprised yesterday, even though it was very well attended and you could have a normal conversation. The food was again very good. We all had pizza and can only recommend it. Would love to come back.

The pizza was sturdy, although with an excessive amount of crust. Compared to the premium pizza shops in the city center, the taste is quite weak, although the price is still more expensive. The kitchen didn't bring a pizza to our table and still made us wait a long time for it to be baked. The service was overloaded but did its best to smooth things over with free tiramisu.

Because the waiters were stressed, the customer was not allowed to have a free seat of his choice! Therefore service 0 points!

Very nice restaurant. The service was friendly and in a good mood. One star deduction, which is very annoying, is the two seats directly on the windows. You're basically sitting next to complete strangers and you have the feeling that you have no peace and quiet while eating. The only thing that separates you is a pane of glass. But since the staff can't do anything about it and you can't really change it, it was okay like that for 1.5 hours.

Very courteous staff and a varied menu and delicious drinks. We got recommendations and they were worth it. As a starter, burrata with tomatoes was significantly overpriced. Chairs could have cushions outside and collect the napkins in the hedge. 😉

I had a reservation for 4 people on August 9, 2024 and was at L'Osteria Köln Lövenich on time. After we sat down, none of the waiters served us for 20 minutes, even though we made our presence known several times in a friendly manner. Then I went to the head waiter and informed him that we should sit at another table because the restaurant was only half full. After another 10 minutes he arrived himself, whereupon I jokingly greeted him with a 'Hallelujah'. He then exploded and lectured me about how impudent I was and how I would think of constantly asking for service even though I could see that the restaurant was full. He concluded his 10-minute lecture by telling me to leave the restaurant if I didn't like it, which of course I did. I usually like to eat at L'Osteria, but I'll definitely never go to L'Osteria Köln Lövenich again. I also advise anyone who values ​​a little service not to go there, but to eat somewhere else.

On 7 August, 5 of us, including 2 children were looking forward to your wonderful food and a place for our grandkids to play. At around 5:15 pm, as my grandson tried to climb up the sliding pond, kids called out to us to stay back because there was broken glass on the slide. Apparently a child dropped a glass jar of parmesean cheese off of the top of the sliding pond. My son picked up a couple of large pieces of glass in the sand at the bottom of the slide. A mother approached with wipes in an attempt to remove any shards of glass that remained on the slide. After another 10-15 minutes an employee came with a dust pan and broom to sweep inside the covered area of the sliding pond. Without any assurances (by a server who said that there was nothing he could do about it) that all of the broken glass was removed, we left your restaurant and ended up dining at Italy Foodworld, just up the street, for an awesome experience. Parents, please beware of glass near the sliding pond.

On my wife's birthday we had dinner there with 7 people. Absolutely recommended. Hanna served us excellently. That's why the food tasted even better. Will stop by often.

I ordered Spaghetti Pomodoro today. When I served the spaghetti on my plate, I discovered an insect 🦟. As a result, I completely lost my appetite and could no longer eat the food. So you can't sell something so disgusting. I didn't spend my money on this - it's just disgusting! I will never order food from you again! Just look at the photos and be ashamed!

So if you like it loud, chaotic and turbulent, this is the place for you - in my opinion, it's rather unsuitable for a cozy evening with entertainment among friends. It wasn't our first time in an L Osteria, but it really wasn't THAT this time. I find the concept of picking up guests at a counter unusual, it makes you lose interest; The fact that you then have to leave all your information there via cell phone scan after what feels like an eternity of waiting time just tops it all off. If you don't have a cell phone or you call to make a reservation, you will be turned away. Once you have taken your seat, the ordering process goes relatively quickly; we also had a nice service person. These are probably not specialist staff, but in my opinion what counts here is the good will and the approach to guests. Unfortunately, our drinks (Coke light, Fanta) came absolutely stale without any carbonation. At a price of €3.95 (0.5 litres), I complained about this and the employee gave me the same thing again... again without soda. At least she didn't complain - that was obvious - but accepted the complaint a second time without any problems.......we then chose water from the bottle. Meanwhile, at the next table, a dog owner and her dear little one had sat down without being asked. The animal was sweet but still rubbed and shook itself often. We don't like that at all and think that animals have NO place in a restaurant. Outside in the queue at the counter there were other guests with dogs waiting to be admitted. When I politely asked the "head of duty" about it (as I was leaving the restaurant), he told me that dogs are welcome in the Osteria - including inside. SORRY DOESN'T WORK AT ALL FOR ME / US AND IS A K.O. CRITERION for future visits to the Osteria in Lövernich. Oh yes, the pizzas were of good, usual quality which we ate quite quickly in the atmosphere of L'Osteria, which was filled with loud music and hectic pace. We were happy when we got out of this "madhouse" and will take a long break from L'Osteria

Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous criticism. Got 4 dishes and cutlery 4 times. Hurray, that works. Unfortunately pasta was ordered 3 times. In two dishes there was a spoon in the dish and in the third unfortunately no spoon. The plate was very warm and the waiter burned his fingers. Since he cooled his hand afterwards, he will certainly remember it. Of course, first aid is more important to me. That's why I didn't ask him directly about the missing salad and the missing spoon. I do this when our waitress comes. Everything was done and the salad was then brought out. Since she had more dishes in her hand, I then thought. Ok, I'll wait until she comes over again. After 5 minutes I went to the next waiter who was with me at the cutlery cupboard. Unfortunately the compartment with spoons was not filled. The friendly answer was then bring one to their place immediately. My pasta dish was cold in the meantime. So I went to the man at reception who told me that he would take care of it immediately. Since there was only one person on duty that day, he will also remember this question. What happened, nothing. So after 15 minutes I went to both people, thanked them for their help and got the spoon myself from the kitchen. Because of course I got it straight away at the counter. I would have preferred to leave the Spiesseestaurant without eating or paying for my cold pasta. But unfortunately I wasn't there alone. I would be happy if all three people involved in the restaurant in Cologne Lövenich read this message and maybe think again about whether they did everything right. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the pasta tasted very good cold and everything else was great in this restaurant. Maybe an apology or the words we can serve the dish warm again would have appeased my displeasure a little.

Unfortunately today's visit was an absolute failure. Unfortunately, my son and I were ignored at all. We tried to order something from 4 waiters, the first ignored us, the second said he would come in a second, the third just nodded when we tried to draw attention to ourselves and the fourth then wanted to let his colleague know. Unfortunately the colleague didn't come either, so we left the restaurant after 25 minutes. Ambience ok, unfortunately service and food can be rated with 0 stars.
