Pizzeria La Calabrisella in Daun

We hadn't reserved a table and were allowed to sit at a reserved one. Apparently, there was still some time until the assigned guests arrived. The food was so delicious. I think we'll come back again before our vacation ends. We had a salami pizza and pasta with three different dishes, including lasagna, penne, and tortellini. Topped with cheese and ground beef sauce. It was all delicious. Super friendly staff. The shop, as well as the restrooms, are very clean and well-maintained.

Absolutely not recommended! People with disabilities – especially blind people with guide dogs – are deliberately excluded and thus discriminated against here. The excuse of an alleged "allergy," for which no evidence could be provided, is simply unbelievable and seems like a pretext to keep blind guests away. Such behavior is unacceptable and violates current anti-discrimination laws. A complaint to the relevant federal authorities in Berlin is more than appropriate. Better to go to the competition – Pizzeria La Trattoria!

The restaurant was very busy during the week; we thought the wood-fired pizzas were very good; the tomato soup wasn't to our taste, so it lost one star. Very friendly service, a clear recommendation.

The Italian restaurant was average overall. • Pizza: really great, top-notch! • Pasta: also very tasty. • Service: okay – friendly, but it seemed a bit forced and heavily dependent on the person. • Atmosphere: okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Conclusion: Definitely worth a visit for the pizza and pasta, but there's still room for improvement in the service and ambiance.

I've been here several times. More than satisfied every time! Great pizzas and pasta dishes (my recommendation: Frutti di Mare). Good value for money and attentive service. I'll be back... again and again!

La Calabrizella – Calzone of the highest quality! The calzone at La Calabrizella is simply unbeatable: crispy on the outside, wonderfully moist on the inside, and perfectly filled. You can immediately tell that the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of love. The service was also top-notch – friendly, attentive, and warm. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, whether you're alone, as a couple, or with the family. For me, it's clear: If you're looking for a really good calzone, you can't go past La Calabrizella. Delicious food and very friendly customer service.

We were advised to visit La Calabrisella in Daun as we wanted to enjoy real Italian food. Well, that’s what we got. The pizza was excellent baked and the Lasagna was to die for. The side salad (the mini from the menu) was delicious. So if you are Daun and you want to eat quality Italian food, visit this restaurant.

Very very nice team and great pizza

We ate a pizza calzone, a Regina and a spinaci on site. The three pizzas were very tasty and well topped. The preparation took a while, although there wasn't much going on yet, but there seemed to be plenty of orders to pick up. But it was within reason. We'll be back. 😃🍕

Real Italian stone oven pizza in a wood oven is awesome. Really crispy and very thin. Reservation is recommended. Service is always courteous and attentive.

Due to a one-day overnight stay in Daun, I went to the pizzeria and ordered a Parma pizza to take away. It took about 20 minutes because the restaurant was very busy. It was worth it. Pizza super delicious!

Nice restaurant, cozy, new, well-kept. Very courteous and empathetic service. Pizza first class, as was the tomato sauce, as was the olive oil. Unfortunately, one star is deducted for the very long waiting time in the restaurant because there were so many take-out orders. If this is known, it should be pointed out beforehand, then as a guest I still have a chance to make a decision...

Stopped in spontaneously for lunch. Even though it was just before lunchtime, we were warmly welcomed and served. We really enjoyed the pasta dishes we ordered. The restaurant is clean and friendly. The prices are also completely ok. All in all, we can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The food was great. We had a lasagna and a pizza. The lasagna was firm and held up, but was still not dry and didn't swim in tomato sauce as is often the case. The pizza was freshly prepared, the dough had nice bubbles and the toppings were great. The side salad with homemade dressing and fresh pizza rolls rounded everything off. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. The furnishings are modern Mediterranean and everything is clean. It doesn't get any better.

It was all around good and tasty

Very nice and tastefully decorated pizzeria. The food was, as always, very tasty. Unfortunately, on the last visit in 2023, the sizes of the pizzas were sometimes very different. One filled the plate, the next one was missing a part "top" and "bottom" (it was oval). Not nice when you go out to eat for two and both pizzas are on the same table together. After all, the eye eats too. Should be changed, even if the pizzas are "handmade". Otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant 😁👍

Very tasty soups as a starter (onion soup!), pizza is also very good, great dough and plenty of tasty toppings. We'll try pasta next time. The service is attentive and quick, finally tables with tablecloths again. You feel comfortable here. We will be back!

Die Zutaten des Salattellers waren frisch u knackig. Das Salatdressing war etwas schwer, aber im großen u ganzen ganz lecker.

Sehr freundliche Besitzer und die Preise sind wirklich fair! Das Essen ist sehr lecker, sowohl Pasta als auch Pizza. Auf Sonderwünsche wird gerne eingegangen. Wir haben ein Pasta Gericht auch als Kinderportion bekommen. Wo kann man heute noch für unter 50 Euro mit der ganzen Familie lecker essen? Hier geht’s!!! Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

Ich finde die Pizzeria ganz okay aber die Pizzen haben normalerweise immer den Rand verbrannt und vor allem möchte ich das immer selber abholen weil die sonst die Pizza nie richtig machen

Einfach toll. Wir haben ohne Bestellung einen Tisch bekommen obwohl es sehr voll war. Trotz wie auch hier - überall herschender Personalmangel, sind die Servicekräfte ruhig und geduldig und haben immer noch Zeit für eine Erklärung oder ein kurzes Gespräch. Die Einrichtung / das Ambiente passt zu einer italienischen Pizzaria und ist nicht überladen. Das Essen schmeckt super und das zu einem günstigen Preis. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Ich hatte noch nie solch ein enttäuschendes überbackenes Nudelgericht und schon lange keine so gleichgültige Bedienung! Ich hatte die Gnocchi Sorrento bestellt: Die erste Ernüchterung war, dass nur ein kleiner Klecks Käse obendrauf geschmolzen war. Buchstäblich nach zwei Bissen war kein Käse mehr auf meinem Teller zu sehen. Was übrig blieb waren knautschige Gnocchi, die alles andere als frisch wirkten, in einer Tomatensauce die so geschmeckt hat als hätte man passierte Tomate direkt aus der Tüte genommen und etwas geriebenen Basilikum rein gestreut - liebloser kann man es kaum zuhause selbst hinbekommen. Als die Bedienung nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei, habe ich ausgesprochen freundlich und ruhig (ich wollte nicht das andere Gäste sich unwohl fühlen) meine Enttäuschung zum Ausdruck gebracht. Sie erklärte, dass es das Restaurant schon seit über 30 Jahren gibt und ihre Kunden es so mögen. Es stehe ja Salz und Pfeffer auf den Tisch zum nachwürzen. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Versuch auf den Kunden einzugehen (z.B. noch etwas Käse drüber schmelzen) oder es wieder gut zu machen (Ermäßigung, Ersatz, Nachtisch oder Getränk aufs Haus…). Stattdessen hat sie danach konsequent unseren Tisch gemieden. Das war enttäuschender als das Essen: dann bitte gar nicht erst Nachfrage, als zu zeigen, dass der Kunde einem völlig egal ist! Meine Frau hatte die Tagliatelle al Corsaro. Sie war zufrieden mit ihrem Gericht wenn auch der Lachs trocken war.

Wanneer je een goede pizzeria zoekt in Daun, dan ben je hier aan het juiste adres. De pizza's worden in de steenoven bereid en zijn erg lekker, ook de pasta's smaken goed. Erg vriendelijke bediening, net als de rekening. De locatie is niet top, het eten en de service wel.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung und das war gut so. Man muß wissen, wo es ist, sonst findet man es nicht. Sehr unauffällig, aber dafür super Essen und der Nachtisch ist ein Gedicht. Tiramisu Liebhaber kommen voll auf ihre Kosten und wir sind durch Italien verdammt verwöhnt und anspruchsvoll ;-)

Hele lekkere pizza's!!! De pizza's en oven gerechten worden in een steenoven bereid waardoor het extra lekker smaakt. De medewerkers zijn erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Toen we klaar waren met eten kregen we een likeurtje van het huis en onze dochter werd blij gemaakt met een zakje Haribo snoepjes. Als je in de buurt bent is het zeker de moeite waard om hier te gaan eten!

Wir kamen abends spontan ohne Reservierung vorbei und hatten Glück, dass noch ein Tisch frei war (Eifelrallye Wochenende). Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen super lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Pizza- und Pastagerichte und allen hat's richtig gut geschmeckt (mit Kindern nicht immer so einfach). Auch Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Beetje achteraf, met saai uitzicht. Het eten was echter prima, en meer dan voldoende. Bediening was uiterst correct en vriendelijk. Verrassend was het gratis likeurtje na de maaltijd. Iets wat haast nooit gedaan wordt! Compliment! O ja, de prijzen waren ook nog eens meer dan redelijk.

Beste Pizza aller Zeiten. Pizza aus dem Holzofen, nicht nur so genannt sondern tatsächlich mit der Wärme von echtem Holz gebacken.

Gut besuchtes italienisches Lokal. Haben dort gut gegessen. Vorsicht am Eingang zum Lokal. Die Treppenlösung ist tricki und nicht ungefährlich.
