We had a platter for two people for €42. That would have fed a third person. The food came very quickly and was delicious. Service was excellent. We sat outside, so no reservation was necessary.

Truly delicious Croatian cuisine. A very rustic ambiance with a new winter garden. The waitress is wearing a suit because unfortunately there were only two of them, so it took a while for someone to come, and only one of them spoke German. The lady is currently learning German, which I think is great, and she's really trying hard. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.

Back here after many years. The staff has changed, but everything is still excellent and highly recommended. Top address in Daun.

The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The taste is only surpassed by the truly excellent service. Our order was adjusted without any problems. It's a short 10-minute walk from the Lieserbogen campsite. Highly recommended. I would like to highlight the truly friendly and attentive service staff, whose work is absolutely exemplary. Great! We'll be back.

Lovely restaurant in a lovely location

On our way home from a weekend in Germany, we stopped here for a bite to eat. Both dishes we chose were delicious, and the price-quality ratio is highly recommended. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. We'll definitely be back.

This is how you suffocate your success. Barely managed to get a table without a reservation on a Tuesday evening shortly before 6:00 p.m. The servers were very friendly. We ordered. We waited. And waited. And waited. We saw plates and platters being dragged to other guests (including those who had ordered after us). At some point, one of the servers came and asked what we had ordered (so she had noticed on her own that something was wrong). She then said she would take care of it. The salad that came with the ordered dish arrived in a flash. But, you guessed it, we waited and waited (another 10 minutes)... and saw well-filled plates leave the kitchen... but there was nothing for us. After a little over an hour, we paid for our drinks and left the – not very hospitable – place hungry. Conclusion: Never again

It's a shame there are so few Croatian restaurants. The food is incredibly delicious and the service fantastic.

A cozy restaurant. We had two of the daily specials: pork steaks stuffed with ham and cheese, served with fries, rice, and salad, and one of the grilled meats. The food was delicious, fresh, and hot, and the portions were just right. We were full, but we didn't want to give anything back. Perfect. Saturday, 6 p.m., and the crowds were moderate, but it was getting increasingly crowded. Making a reservation in advance isn't a bad idea.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. Very friendly service, excellent food, and very fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

Hier sitzt man gut und kann gut essen. Schneller, netter Service und gut gemachtes Essen. Es gibt keinen Mosel-Wein, was aber nicht schade ist, denn der angebotene kroatische ist auch lecker.

We had dinner in the restaurant with a large group on Saturday May 10th, 2025 and can only say: the food was super tasty, the service was really nice and, above all, every table received their food at the same time. A great organization! We will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend this restaurant. A visit is worth it.

The restaurant is really very good, we went there twice within three days and really enjoyed the food and the service! The steaks as well as the grill plate, the cordonbleau and the children's dishes are highly recommended. Our children played with the owners' children! Very family friendly. Highly recommended!

The food arrives in a huge portion. I had liver that was cut very thinly for my taste and therefore dried out on the hot plate. Grill plate is almost impossible. Service is friendly and attentive. It feels like the facility was there 30 years ago.

Six hungry tourists found a warm welcome and food on a Sunday night here in Daun. Shown to a table for six. Google translate was very useful for us English speakers to read and understand the menu. I was on soft drinks having driven. The platter was very tasty, and other reported good steaks. Strudel dessert looked delicious 😋 Great service. We would go back next time we are in town.

Great food, friendly and fast staff. It's a shame I didn't discover this place sooner. The best Zagreb schnitzel, better than in Zagreb. The only restaurant in Daun that had Erdinger Radler. I will definitely come back if I visit the Vulkaneifel again.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Daun. Some free parking spaces right in front of the house. Typical Croatian specialties are offered at a reasonable price. As a starter I had grilled pepperoni with garlic olive oil. The main course was a grill plate as you imagine. Everything was very tasty and recommended.

We discovered this rustically furnished restaurant while on holiday nearby. You can also sit on the terrace if the weather permits. There were very tasty Croatian specialties from the grill but also some schnitzel dishes and some salads. Large portions. Friendly staff. We were there twice and were very satisfied both times. We will stop there again on our next holiday in the area.

We waited about 70 minutes for our small meal. After asking several times (the answer was... yes, I know, it is very busy. I don't know how much longer...) our dinner arrived 2 minutes later after our table neighbors had also asked. Then say so if you know it is busy and that the food may take a little longer.......

Een van de weinige restaurants die op maandag open is. Een ruim restaurant. Bediening is goed. Zowel het restaurant als de toiletten zagen er schoon uit. Het vegetarische gerecht was uitstekend zeker omdat zoals gevraagd er geen paprika in zat. De lamskoteletten smaakten goed. Echter onduidelijk is waarom hier mayonaise bij wordt geserveerd. Het nagerecht, de Palatschinke, viel tegen. De crêpes waren veel te dik en hadden nauwelijks smaak. Wijnen waren goed.

The restaurant is overall excellent. The staff is very accommodating and very polite, big praise for that! The food was very tasty, I got the grill plate and my buddy got the Hajduk plate. It is not often that you have experienced good Croatian cuisine in such top form in a small area like the Eifel. Every good review is deserved!

As regular guests, we have been coming to Dubrovnik on and off for quite some time. So far everything has been flawless. Except for today: we had invited guests to the belated birthday party. A new waiter served us, the drinks came immediately, the starter was delayed until we asked, and we waited in vain for over an hour for the main course. Other guests who came after us (at least 3 tables) had already received their food, paid and left the restaurant. Our patience was at an end, we skipped our main course - as it obviously hadn't arrived in the kitchen yet - and said goodbye to our guests, who still had a return journey of around 150 km. We are deeply disappointed and will probably avoid the restaurant in the near future.

Unfortunately, the trip to Dubrovnik was a failure. We were greeted very friendly and given a table in the winter garden. The menu is clear and sure to have something for everyone. Ordered: 1x water, 1x shower 1x salad plate split 1x grill plate 1x calamari Beverages: The shower is a slap in the face for every guest. The fact that you can actually get a glass of (warm tap) water with an effervescent tablet with orange flavor for €4.20 borders on cheeky. The salad plate was tasty, okay for the money. The waitress asked if we would like bread, which was answered in the affirmative. We are still waiting for the bread today. Main course: Guests who came when we were almost finished with our salad got their main courses before us, the timing doesn't really work here. The grill plate was partly dry and half of the fries were cold. The side salad for the grill plate is, see picture, extremely unimaginative. The calamari was very sandy and not worth the money for the size of the portion. We won't be coming back, it's a shame.
