Wasn't that warm to sit. Salmon was on the dry side, fried too long.

Absolutely a recommendation very good food and nice service

We discovered this rustically furnished restaurant while on holiday nearby. You can also sit on the terrace if the weather permits. There were very tasty Croatian specialties from the grill but also some schnitzel dishes and some salads. Large portions. Friendly staff. We were there twice and were very satisfied both times. We will stop there again on our next holiday in the area.

Kurz gesagt, guter Service, gute Auswahl hier findet jeder etwas, gutes Essen und somit auch ein guter Abend. Für Daun mit den vielen Dönerläden und Pizzerien wirklich eine gute Alternative!

We waited about 70 minutes for our small meal. After asking several times (the answer was... yes, I know, it is very busy. I don't know how much longer...) our dinner arrived 2 minutes later after our table neighbors had also asked. Then say so if you know it is busy and that the food may take a little longer.......

Een van de weinige restaurants die op maandag open is. Een ruim restaurant. Bediening is goed. Zowel het restaurant als de toiletten zagen er schoon uit. Het vegetarische gerecht was uitstekend zeker omdat zoals gevraagd er geen paprika in zat. De lamskoteletten smaakten goed. Echter onduidelijk is waarom hier mayonaise bij wordt geserveerd. Het nagerecht, de Palatschinke, viel tegen. De crêpes waren veel te dik en hadden nauwelijks smaak. Wijnen waren goed.

The restaurant is overall excellent. The staff is very accommodating and very polite, big praise for that! The food was very tasty, I got the grill plate and my buddy got the Hajduk plate. It is not often that you have experienced good Croatian cuisine in such top form in a small area like the Eifel. Every good review is deserved!

As regular guests, we have been coming to Dubrovnik on and off for quite some time. So far everything has been flawless. Except for today: we had invited guests to the belated birthday party. A new waiter served us, the drinks came immediately, the starter was delayed until we asked, and we waited in vain for over an hour for the main course. Other guests who came after us (at least 3 tables) had already received their food, paid and left the restaurant. Our patience was at an end, we skipped our main course - as it obviously hadn't arrived in the kitchen yet - and said goodbye to our guests, who still had a return journey of around 150 km. We are deeply disappointed and will probably avoid the restaurant in the near future.

Typical Croatian menu. All dishes were great. Super-friendly service, extra requests are no problem. The ambience on the balcony facing the street is simply beautiful.

Unfortunately, the trip to Dubrovnik was a failure. We were greeted very friendly and given a table in the winter garden. The menu is clear and sure to have something for everyone. Ordered: 1x water, 1x shower 1x salad plate split 1x grill plate 1x calamari Beverages: The shower is a slap in the face for every guest. The fact that you can actually get a glass of (warm tap) water with an effervescent tablet with orange flavor for €4.20 borders on cheeky. The salad plate was tasty, okay for the money. The waitress asked if we would like bread, which was answered in the affirmative. We are still waiting for the bread today. Main course: Guests who came when we were almost finished with our salad got their main courses before us, the timing doesn't really work here. The grill plate was partly dry and half of the fries were cold. The side salad for the grill plate is, see picture, extremely unimaginative. The calamari was very sandy and not worth the money for the size of the portion. We won't be coming back, it's a shame.

I only discovered the restaurant by chance, but I was very satisfied... The food (grilled liver) was great, the service was also good, the interior was very nice, the outside was relaxed "beer garden style"... If I ever go back I'll definitely take a look again... 😊

The service was very courteous and attentive. There were two of us there and we ordered a meat dish and a vegetarian dish. (Vegetarian plate from the oven) Unfortunately the vegetables were frozen. However, the meat plate was good. In terms of price, the meat dish and the drinks were completely reasonable.

There's only one thing to say, we'll be back

Everything was super good! The service is unique in Daun, the food is tasty and the price-performance ratio is right. We would be happy to come back and are now regular guests.

At short notice, without a reservation, we got there on May 27th. In the evening there was no problem finding a table for four people. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and it was clean too. If we spend another holiday nearby, we would be happy to come back. Best regards from the Ruhr area. 👍

Rustic ambience with brick arches and niches, that fits very well. We all really enjoyed the food, the portions were large and the price was reasonable. We were very satisfied with the nice service. Only the table could have been larger for the pre-reserved six people, so it was a bit tight. If we are in Daun again, we will definitely come back.

Went for dinner with 10 people on Monday evening, I can only recommend it. The staff is nice and accommodating, the food is great, and waiting times were correspondingly short. Sanitary is clean and tidy. Parking is a bit difficult since we are in the center. Wheelchairs cannot get into the restaurant without help.

The service is friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the salad was forgotten on the platter for two people. When it came there was only oil on the salad. So no dressing. As an apology, the espresso was on the house. The minced steak, liver and cevapcici were good. Unfortunately the skewer was too dry. Price-performance but OK. Some restaurants are more expensive but I expect better service.

Went today with 4 adults and 2 Children there for a birthday dinner and were somewhat disappointed compared to previous visitors. Just a menu at the table. Service “that’s the regulars’ table too”. Maybe, but we were placed there?! This was followed by the intake of drinks, the intake of food, food came to the table, was cleared away, that was it. NO questions asked in between whether everything was OK, no re-ordering of drinks possible. Others at least come to ask when the glasses are empty, but the waitress behind the counter preferred to look at her cell phone instead of at the guests. The crowning glory was the waiter: Julischka was brought to the neighboring tables around us as a nightcap - we weren't even asked. Of course you can't demand that, but such behavior is annoying. :(

We are currently at Center Parcs in Gunderath and came to Daun for dinner today. The atmosphere is really great, you immediately feel at home and the service staff were all super nice. We had different dishes, some of which we wanted to put together a bit individually because of the children. That wasn't a problem - great. The liver was great, I can definitely recommend it. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!!!

Hervorragendes Essen, Ambiente, Wohlfühlen und vor allem: die nunmehr erhöhte Mehrwertsteuer wurde NICHT auf den Kunden umgelagert sondern die Preise sind gleich. Hier ziehe ich den Hut und unterstütze so etwas ausnahmslos immer. Wir hatten uns eine Platte für zwei Personen bestellt zu 38 Euro es war üppig und wirklich sehr sehr lecker!

Es ist seit Jahren unser Stammlokal und das nicht ohne Grund! Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch, das Personal stehts freundlich und das Essen kommt in einem angemessenen Zeitraum an den Tisch. Die kleinen Nieschen mit den Tischen für bis zu 6 Personen schaffen eine hervorragende Wohlfühlatmosphäre und reduzieren den allgemeinen Restaurantlärm. Die Portionen sind wirklich ausreichend und auch Änderungen von z.B. Beilagen sind kein Problem. Lediglich die vegetarischen/veganen Angebote könnten etwas vielfältiger als nur "Gemüse mit Reis" oder "Salat" sein

Bei der Speisenkarte hat sich gefühlt seit 25 Jahren nichts geändert, lieblos angerichtete Speisen, Service muss man ewig drauf warten obwohl nichts los war, bei Bezahlung gab es nicht mal mehr den obligatorischen Schnaps, durchschnittlich pro Person 35€ (…!…) Zuhause stanken die Klamotten nach altem Fett und Küche …die Antwort des Inhabers stellt uns nicht zufrieden, denn unsere Ansicht entspricht der Tatsache von 3 Gästen. Sie, waren an dem Abend leider nicht da , statt dessen Ihre Mitarbeiterin alleine im Service… Wünsche Ihnen für 2024 ein gastronomisches Händchen 😉👍🍀

Hatten zum ersten mal in diesem Restaurant eine Stammtischrunde ,kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen ,da Preislich und Alles andere super war.

Hrana je bila vrlo dobra, ali pravo bogatstvo ovog restorana je odlična usluga koja doprinosi ugodnoj, domaćoj atmosferi. Osobito se ističe mlada, duhovita konobarica Iva zbog koje ćemo opet doći prvom prilikom.

Alles war großartig. Besonders begeistert hat mich die Freundlichkeit der Kellnerin Iva. Ich werde auf jeden Fall bald wiederkommen
