Pizzeria Il Gargano Bad Homburg in Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe

Durch einen Geschenkgutschein kamen wir ins Il Gargano und waren schon bei unserem ersten Besuch begeistert. Der Service ist sehr gut und die Kelner(in) sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Beim zweiten Besuch konnte ich meine erste Meinung nur bestätigen. Das Essen sehr lecker und auch dem Preis angemessen. Heute haben wir den Lieferservice in Anspruch genommen und das war der absolute Knaller. Innerhalb der vereinbarten Zeit (und das auch noch wesentlich kürzer) hatten wir die Pizza zu Hause und das auch noch heiß!!!!! Eine absolute Empfehlung .

I sat in "Il Gargano" and laughed, But not because of the food, which made us sad. The service was grumpy, the mood was quite sad, A smile from the waiter? A rare twist. We quickly noticed that the ingredients were cheap. The horror then began with the salad. Leaves withered, tomatoes like stone, This was supposed to be a work of art? But wait, the pizza was a poem, A ray of hope in the darkness, hope renounces. Free bread and olives, that was a nice gesture, A small consolation in this restaurant set. A fun evening, that's what we had here, Maybe we'll come back, but more for the beer!

It was my first time there, spontaneously without a reservation. It was really a great experience. The service and food were excellent. We will be back definitely.

A familiar and convivial place where you can enjoy excellent Italian food prepared with skill and passion! ❣️ The staff is very kind and attentive in satisfying all the needs of the customers who are very varied! By now... the Gargano pizza restaurant has become a fixed stop here in Germany.

Sorry….food was ok. but the service was subpar, maybe it was due to the high number of guests, but then you have to organize it differently.

The quality of the food is just average in my opinion. Long wait until you can order, then waited 30 minutes for the bill despite repeated requests. Prices ok - but additional requests are outrageously surcharged. We won't be coming back.

My daughter wanted some fried mushrooms on her salad. For a handful of mushroom slices the small mixed salad was €6.50 then €14.50!!! We waited forever for the bill. Never again.

Very tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere.

The pizza I had gotten was delicious, and the service was great. The waiter even helped me in ordering in German as I am trying to study the language.

That's it. Delivered incorrectly twice in a row. But it's no wonder if the person who takes the call chats to the kitchen or someone else instead of the customer. You don't need it. Food arrived after almost 60 minutes and was lukewarm.

Went there several times in the past and were always quite satisfied. That has changed. Service simply unfriendly and arrogant. There was no advice, the waiter, who had been there for years, was not interested and had to be called several times. The mood and atmosphere were really not nice on this Sunday evening. Unfortunately it was our last time...

The lasagne was really delicious. The price performance is very good and the ambience was also nice. However, the tiramisu was really bad. The biscuits were still hard and the cream actually only tasted like cream. Some waiters were nice, some were very listless.

Fantastic food. We were lucky and got a table for two without a reservation on Saturday evening when the weather was nice. My husband had a pizza with Serrano ham and buffalo mozzarella. Was delicious. For my main meal I had 2 starters: tuna carpaccio with avocado and prawn tartare plus vitello tonnato bruscetta. It was just fantastic. Service was good, quick and friendly. We'd love to come back.

The food was OK, but the waiters in this restaurant are arrogant and even rude. If you "dare" to stay longer than the "average" plan, you will be asked to pay (occupancy: approx. 30%)

Went there with friends and it took forever to even get served, even though there wasn't much going on! Service was extremely unfriendly! Pizza was lukewarm and the edge was very hard... the topping was good. We waited again for a long time for service so that we could order something again (drinks) At 9:30 p.m. another waitress came and said that we had to get to the end slowly because they close at 10 p.m.... this could also be communicated to the guest in another way! We've never been served so unfriendly...it's a shame!

Very tasty lunch menu. Grilled sea bream fillet with side dishes and a starter soup. Nice service, great price/performance ratio. Gladly again.

Schönes u großes Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Allerdings ist die Bedienung (durch die Herren) sehr unfreundlich. Das trübt die Stimmung doch erheblich. Die einzige Dame (war leider an den Nachbartischen tätig) gibt sich wesentlich mehr Mühe.

Durchschnittliches Essen, eher verkocht(die Lasagne), Pizza ok, Bedienung wenig freundlich , sehr schweigsam. Wurden relativ wortlos abgefertigt.Haben uns über due Behandlung als Gast sehr geärgert!

Lieferservice: Kalte Pizza geliefert. Zu spät geliefert. So nicht.

Mein Lieblingsitaliener hier in Bad Homburg

Lekker gegeten maar de bediening kan stukken beter. Men was niet vriendelijk, borden werden weggehaald terwijl we nog aan het eten waren, er wordt niet gevraagd of je nog wat wil drinken en bij afrekenen wordt de ober boos omdat hij de fooi onvoldoende vond. In Nederland is het gebruikelijk dat je fooi geeft als je tevreden bent over de service.

Etwas rustikal eingerichtet. Saßen im Vorzelt. Es war aber warm und das Essen war gut

Eine gute Pizzeria, die ich am 3.12.23 mit der Familie besucht habe. Bruscetta gibt es dort in vielen Varianten. Ich hatte die mit Knoblauch, und es schmeckte richtig gut. Auch die Pizza Tonno Cipolla war sehr gut.

Sehr netter Service und super leckeres Essen. Das Preisleistungsverhätnis ist völlig in Ordnung wir hatten Pizza, Fisch. Nudeln, Salat, Bruschetta, alles super lecker zubereitet und sehr gut im Geschmack.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker ( ich hatte eine vegetarische Lasagne) und die Preise sind super. Es gibt auch glutenfreie Pizzen - was alle die darauf achten müssen extrem freut!

Tutto molto buono. Il cibo è comunicato come Italia, la pizza è molto buona e le porzioni dei piatti sono molto abbondanti ed il prezzo è molto buono. Il servizio è molto gradevole, sono simpatici e la maggior parte del personale parla anche italiano! Quando sono in zona per lavoro cerco sempre di ritornarci.

Wir waren hier schon einige Male und kommen gerne wieder. Minuspunkt ist lediglich die laute Atmosphäre.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, leider war der Service etwas überfordert. Eines von 7 Essen wurde vergessen. Aus dem doppelten Expresso wurden zwei normale... die Korrektur dauerte leider etwas länger. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt im Hinterhof neben einer Eisdiele, somit schön ruhig.

Leckere, gut belegte Pizza. Spaghetti a la P. waren klasse. Nette Bedienung.

Die Pizzen die wir bekamen schmeckten sehr gut. Man wartet nicht zu lange, die Pizzen schmecken. Es gibt nur eine Größe. Die Preise sind etwas höher. Bedienung so weit sehr freundlich, der Laden ist meistens voll.

Mittagsmenü: Saltimbocca, superlecker, sowie Teigtaschen, auch lecker, allerdings ein wenig zu salzig, deswegen Punktabzug. Gute Lage, angenehmes Ambiente, guter Service. Empfehlenswert.

Für solch ein insalada caprese muss ich nicht ins Restaurant gehen. Das hätte ich zu Hause besser hingekriegt. Die Tomaten wässrig, einfacher Mozzarella und sehr lieblos zubereitet. Verstehe nicht, warum das Lokal so voll ist.

Ein schöner Wintergarten hat uns vor einem Regenschauer gerettet. Gute räumliche Kombination von Inhouse über Wintergarten und Garten zur Straße. Alles möglich. Das Essen war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Herausheben möchte ich das Lachscabaccio, Spaghetti aglio Olio und als Nachspeise das mittlerweile seltener gewordene Cassatta Sicilliana. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und schnell.

Immer wieder schön, insbesondere im Sommer. Essen ohne Ausnahme gut.

Seeeeeehr leckere Pizza und die Bedienung war auf Zack. Gerne wieder... Das einzige was mich gestört hat war das stumpfe Essbesteck. 🤷

Hier bekommen Sie gratis medizinische Diagnosen. Leider enthielt bei unserem Besuch die Mittagskarte kein vegetarisches Gericht, und so habe ich den Fehler gemacht, eine Pizza zu bestellen. Diese kam auch überraschend schnell, geruchs- und gewürzfrei, mit viel Brokkoli und blassen, angewärmten Tomaten - und mit der typischen Mikrowellen-Hitze. Ich wollte mich lieber mit meiner Begleitung unterhalten statt zu reklamieren, so habe ich mit ca. 1/3 des Belags meinen Hunger gestillt. Beim Abräumen sagte ich dem Kellner, dass sich die Pizza im abgekühlten Zustand weder schneiden noch kauen lässt und ich sie leider nicht essen konnte. Der Kellner hatte die Lösung: Er meinte, meine Zähne seien wohl nicht in Ordnung. Danke, ein SUPER TIPP. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nun unwiderruflich von meiner Auswahlliste streichen.

For starters the Calamari was very overcooked it was like eating an elastic band for 14 euro total disgrace. Main course lasagne and my colleague had linguine with salmon. Usually in good Italian restaurants they come over offer you black pepper and parmesan. But not here I had to ask the bald waiter with goatee for parmesan to which he sarcastically shouted to the chef "parmesan for lasagna". Well I never knew it was forbidden to ask for parmesan but never mind to see such a bad attitude. Anyway it was also so my colleague who had linguine could have some but smartasss waiter never offered any, i guess its also stupid to have parmesan on linguine hey.. I also called the same bald guy over for some drinks asking for a beer and before you could say and a.....glass of wine he's already shouted the beer order to the kitchen. Honestly I always recall Italian restaurants to have the best food and best waiter's always full of charisma and engagement with customers but this guy has a horrible attitude. Was it because Germany lost to Japan? Or maybe because we're English and we'd won 6-2 I don't know. Another colleague asked for steak medium well but it was medium rare at best, in fact I could still detect a heart beat in it. If you're staying in Bad Homburg try Villa Fantastica for a proper Italian. At Il Gargano they can't cook and the bald head waiter is extremely unprofessional. Don't offend them by daring to ask for parmesan. We opted to not get a dessert not that anyone asked us but we wouldn't give them anymore money they didn't deserve it.

Andare in una pizzeria per essere servito una pizza precitte e congelata, tipo quelle dei supermercati é davvero triste. Sicuramente i tedeschi apprezzeranno.

werden wir dieses Restaurant besuchen. Der Wein von schlechter Qualität, der Service eine Katastrophe und die Tagliatelle mit Hirschragout völlig ungenießbar. Das Personal war nicht im Stande die Speisen - für 3 Personen - zusammen zu servieren etc, etc. … Gruselig!

Die Vorspeisen waren befriedigend bis gut. Die Hauptspeise Lammfilet eine einzige Frechheit! Die erste Portion totgebraten! Die Reklamation mitsilberhaut unmöglich!.

Sie leiden unter Post-Covid und schmecken sowie nichts? Dann parken Sie Ihren Rollator direkt neben Ihrem Tisch und genießen Sie Ihr Essen. Bringen Sie Ihren Stoma oder zumindest Ihren Katheter mit, denn das Badezimmer ist im für Sie unerreichbaren Erdgeschoss. buon appetito.

Ich war schon oft hier essen und es war fast immer super lecker. Was mir an den Pizzen besonders gut gefällt ist, dass die Tomatensauce sehr mild ist und deshalb nicht, wie es bei anderen Pizzen manchmal der Fall ist, den kompletten Geschmack einnimmt. Das Personal macht seinen Job gut, ist weder überschwänglich freundlich noch unfreundlich. Preislich auch vollkommen okay.

Egal wann wir da waren, oder in den letzten Monaten dort Essen bestellt haben, waren wir immer super zufrieden. Hoffentlich könnt ihr schnell wieder aufmachen. Bei euch schmeckt es eben besser als zuhause.

Die Pizza ist kalt und es kam nicht das was auf der Karte stand. Außerdem ist die Pizza verbrannt und der Belag auch.

Schöne und zentral gelegene Pizzeria in Bad Homburg. Das Interieur ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Personal ist sehr nett. Neben der Standard-Speisekarte - beinhaltet die typisch italienischen Pasta-, Pizza-, Fisch-, Fleisch- und Vorspeisen-Gerichte - gibt es eine Karte mit mehreren Mittagsmenüs. Diese Menüs sind sehr günstig. Für das Menü mit Vorspeisensuppe (Eierflockensuppe), Pasta (Gnocchoni gefüllt mit Steinpilzen in Gorgonzolassauce) und einem Kuchen als Dessert zahlte ich € 9,50. Das Menü war lecker. Der finale Espresso war auch sehr gut.
