Pizzeria Il Disperato in Düsseldorf

Gutes Essen, katastrophaler Service Die Pizza ist wirklich lecker – deshalb sind wir über Jahre immer mal wieder hier essen gegangen. Leider hat der Service unseren Eindruck immer wieder getrübt. Bei unserem letzten Besuch haben wir nach fast einer Stunde Wartezeit freundlich nachgefragt, wann unser Essen kommt. Statt einer kurzen Erklärung wurden wir in einem nicht angemessen schroffen Ton angefahren, andere Gäste würden schließlich noch länger warten. Auch bei früheren Besuchen wurde schon mit den Augen gerollt, wenn man die Bedienung zum Bestellen gerufen hat. Schade, denn das Essen überzeugt. Da diese Erfahrungen für uns kein Einzelfall waren, werden wir künftig nicht mehr wiederkommen. Beim Lesen anderer Bewertungen scheint es zudem nicht nur uns so zu gehen – umso bedauerlicher, dass sich daran offenbar seit Längerem nichts ändert.

Wir waren gestern nach längerer Zeit wieder einmal im Il Disperato und ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal. Das Essen war hervorragend und wir haben den Abend sehr genossen. Im Gegensatz zu einer anderen hier erwähnten Rezension wurden wir ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Für uns hat alles gepasst. Dieses Restaurant können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ich habe vor sechs Jahren in Düsseldorf gelebt und war damals Stammgast in diesem Restaurant. Es hat eine so gemütliche Atmosphäre, leckeres Essen und faire Preise. Als ich im Urlaub dort war, war es nach all den Jahren immer noch genauso schön.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal dort, aber ganz bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Habe sehr gut gegessen und im Gegensatz zu anderen Rezensionen sehr freundlich bedient worden. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir wollten heute mit 5 Personen dort essen gehen. Tisch war reserviert- schon die Begrüßung war unfreundlich. Nach 2 Stunden und mehrfacher Nachfrage sind wir gegangen! Sehr unfreundlicher Service mit keinem Kundenservice!!! „Wir gehen bestimmt nicht vor ihnen auf die Knie.. „ Sowas erwartet auch keiner. Absolut keine Weiterempfehlung!

Das italienische Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Allerdings ist die nahegelegene Hauptstraße sehr laut, der männliche Angestellte war äußerst unfreundlich, und die Köche rauchten draußen stark. Es war sehr enttäuschend.

Der espresso zum Schluss war göttlich…..

Das Essen war durchschnittlich. Der Service geteilt. Während unser Kellner nett und zuvorkommend war, maulte und die Kellnerin an dass ihr das doch zuviele Pizzakartons wären als wir die Reste mitnehmen wollten. Die Pizza wurde dann übernandergeklatscht in Alufolie eingepackt die auch so knapp war, dass das Essen raus schaute. Ich denke, ich komme nicht wieder.

Wir (3 Personen) waren gestern Abend dort essen (das Essen war sehr lecker) und ich muss leider sagen, dass ich den Service nicht gut fand. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war schon recht lang und Kellner:innen haben schon recht häufig leise vor sich her geflucht. Was mich eher schockiert hat war das nach Bezahlung inkl. Trinkgeld weder ein "Danke" noch eine Verabschiedung kam und wir kommentarlos den Laden verlassen haben. Habe ich vorher auch noch nie erlebt. Wir haben ca 110€ bezahlt inkl. Trinkgeld.

Sehr gut gegessen. Ambiente etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr schmackhafter "Gruß aus der Küche " am Anfang!

Sehr leckeres Restaurant mit schön dünner Pizza und sehr leckerer Spaghetti Carbonara. Wenn es jetzt noch glutenfreie Optionen geben würde, könnte ich auch noch mit meiner Frau regelmäßig vorbei kommen.

Der Teig war zu süß und nicht knusprig genug, und der Kellner war unhöflich (wir fragten, ob wir eine Schachtel für die restlichen Stücke unseres Sohnes bekommen könnten, und ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken, kippte er den Teller in die Schachtel, die er uns gebracht hatte ☹). Die sogenannte Parmigiana-Pizza besteht aus fünf Scheiben getrockneter Aubergine mit etwas Parmesan.

Empfehlenswert! Wir haben unsere Teamfeier in diesem gemütlichen Ambiente verbringen dürfen. Die Mitarbeiter sind Kundenorientiert und im Service rasch unterwegs - es war trotzdem alles sehr familiär. Die inhaberin hat alles im Griff und sie versteht es Kunden zufrieden zu stellen. Es hat uns allen geschmeckt. Danke ❤️

Always delicious food & very friendly staff

A lively Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The seating is pleasant both inside and out. Two very nice ladies served us at the table. They were fast, friendly, and attentive. The food has been consistently delicious for years. This time we had pasta with pesto and baby calamari, followed by the zabaglione. To finish off, we had a nightcap on the house (I chose Sambuca). The prices are perfectly reasonable. The pizzas are also highly recommended—definitely among the top ten in Düsseldorf. We'll definitely be back soon...

We visited this restaurant for the first time last week, and I was unpleasantly surprised by the amount of trash behind the building. For me, eating is a visual experience, and when a restaurant has overflowing trash containers, construction debris lying in plain sight, and shopping carts piled high with trash, it makes me question the restaurant's hygiene standards. Furthermore, the noise level outside from passing cars is extremely high, making the experience even more unpleasant. The other guests on the terrace were also extremely loud, which bothered us. Considering that the pizzeria is right next to an apartment building, I feel really sorry for the people who live above them! It must be very loud and disruptive.

I live next to this pizzeria and the pizza is one of the best in town.

The pizza is very tasty and good value for money. There's a nice, large outdoor area, but unfortunately, it's located on a busy street. The staff could sometimes be a bit friendlier, but all in all, the restaurant is definitely recommended.

My husband's pizza tasted good, but my lasagna was still frozen inside and raw. When I complained, they said we'd put it back in the oven or they'd bake it again at home. I returned it whole and had to pay the full price. Thanks for the unfriendly service.

The large outdoor seating is surprising, as I hadn't expected it from the street. It's all the nicer when it's there. In addition to the menu with pizza and pasta, there's a wide selection of daily specials. I enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza. If the hedges had grown closer to the street, I wouldn't even notice the passing vehicles.

Top Italian restaurant with excellent food and drinks!

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The cream and quark that accompanied the pizza rolls was bland. The spaghetti and tagliatelle were unseasoned and tasted bland. Most annoying, however, was the hour-and-a-half wait for our food, which meant we missed another appointment. We would have left after an hour without eating if we hadn't been constantly assured that "the food will be here right away." It's a bit of a lie.

Very good, delicious pizzas, such as Caprese and prawns. We also had the Berlusconi pizza, which was too salty for us. The Bruschetta Tipica is highly recommended. The grilled sea bream fillet is also delicious, but unfortunately, it had quite a few bones. Service is always friendly and attentive. The ambiance is beautifully designed, with large umbrellas and greenery facing the street. However, the ambiance is deducted one star because of the cars.

The selection of food was impressive and offered something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh and high-quality ingredients, which made every dish a delight. **Food:** The antipasti were varied and delicious, the roulades were tender and tasty, and the fish was perfectly prepared. The tortellini was a highlight and the tiramisu and fruit salad for dessert rounded off the buffet perfectly. Every guest was enthusiastic about the quality and taste of the food. **Service:** Delivery was on time and the buffet was professionally set up. The service was friendly and accommodating, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. **Conclusion:** Il Disperato's buffet was a complete success and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely order and come again and can only recommend it!

It's a shame, the food was a bit carelessly prepared. The noodles were a disappointment for over 22 EUR, the sauce was more like a soup and also a small portion. The pizza was okay, but the crust was only just cooked through.

It's all disgusting, both eating and pizza, the owner is crazy, never again, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone, it deserves to close

The rudeness is bad!!! Guests are treated differently. The synergy effects among the guests of the ice cream café come into their own. So even after the ice cream we ordered the pizzas for ourselves. While the table next to us was served with the usual restaurant settings, our table was graced with pizzas in a box. When we at least asked for cutlery to cut the pizzas smaller for the children, our request was rejected and we were threatened with the public order office. I don't know if you should treat customers like that. We will no longer use the synergy effects. Addendum to the feedback from the pizzeria: You should be consistent when serving customers. This means that if you are already serving a table on the lawn, you at least lend the cutlery to the other table next to it. That would be at least approximately consistent. Or they wouldn't have served a table there. Then people would be more likely to accept that no cutlery would be borrowed. And yes, we should have actually let the public order office clarify the matter. What do you think would be more expensive, borrowing cutlery for a short time or serving the next table? I don't know what respect you're talking about in this case. You showed the disrespect, not us.

We spontaneously went to this pizzeria because it seemed very inviting to sit outside. We were assigned a place without a reservation, which was a bit monotonous. A friendly welcome looks different. KATA! It's not my habit to write about people, but this time it's too much and too mean. We biked to this strange restaurant just two doors away. We ordered some drinks and food and I was served an extremely salty pizza (you'd think there was a bowl or two of salt in it). Unfortunately, I couldn't measure the exact amount of salt in this pizza (four seasons). When I discreetly asked the waiter about it, he said he would inform the head waiter. A few minutes later the head waiter came to our table, not to apologize or offer us something different, as any professional would do, but to inform me that it wasn't their fault and that they themselves don't put salt in the pizzas. The friendly gentleman had nothing to say other than to offer me another beer. I've never experienced that in my entire life. It was the first and last time I was there. They made 33 euros in one evening, but they lost customers that they could have gained if they had just been a little more professional since we live and work very close by.

MOST FRIENDLY SERVICE EVER!!!! I was there on June 27th, 2024 at 6 p.m. to order pizzas to go and was served by a terribly unfriendly waitress/owner!!!! Although we were waiting for a waiter to order, we were asked in a very unfriendly manner to stay out of the way, even though this was the waiting area for the waiters. Children were also shouted at. When the take-away pizzas were UNCUT and one pizza was cooked incorrectly we were forced to return. This was done in annoyance. When we then confronted the waitress about why she was treating us so unkindly, she became aggressive and grabbed my arm and asked me to leave. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURAN!!!!!! This was our second time at this Italian restaurant. What can I say? Service very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and everything was clean. We felt completely comfortable.

You should also be a little more open to vegans and not say to the customer "Then why not go to Rewe?! What kind of way is that? I had to tell him that he had vegan dishes on the menu?! You should Have a look at what dishes are on the menu! Unfortunately, that didn't convince me to come back, even though the spaghetti Ailo Oilio was very good.

I had my eyes on this superb cozy place since a long time and today I finally managed to go. The owners are Italian, very friendly, more family ambiance, I felt like I came home to my parents. The food was delicious and the the espresso extraordinary 😍

Ein heimlicher Ort für uns mit sehr gutem Essen. Ich probiere immer mal was anderes und bin auch der, der bei den Kollegen mal. Wieder nascht und bisher waren da richtig gute Gerichte dabei. Mir wurde auch für die Lasagne zuhause noch ein zwei Tricks verraten und die schmeckt nun noch besser. Also: Ich bin gerne hier und noch nie enttäuscht worden, dazu noch nette Menschen. Was will man mehr?

Ein bisschen Italien in Düsseldorf!🥰 Aus den frischen Zutaten die leckeren Gerichte auf den Teller gezaubert, 👌 und das preisleistung Verhältnis ist wirklich Top! Wer möchte kann einen Blick in die offene Küche werfen wenn bei vieler Arbeit der Italiener das südliche flair in der Küche verteilt..🫠 Die große Terrasse kann sich auch in der Innenstadt sehen lassen.. Absacker aufs Haus ist natürlich auch gut angekommen! Die Kellner und die Hausherrin mit ihrem Mann sind sehr bemüht es auf den Punkt zu bringen. 🥰👌🏻 Kinderfreundlich Nur jedem zu empfehlen Kommen gerne immer wieder.

Im il Disperato fuehlen wir uns immer sehr gut aufgehoben,das Essen ist mit absolut frischen ZUTATEN zubereitet,das Ambiente wunderschönen, das Personal ueberaus freundlich und zuvorkommend,die Inhaber dieses Hauses selbstverständlich auch!!

Köstliche italienische Küche, leckerer Salat mit Gambas. Aufmerksames Personal, nettes Ambiente draußen, unter großen Sonnenschirmen.

Immer wieder bei uns beliebt für schöne Abende in ungezwungener Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt, so dass man manchmal warten muss - das lohnt sich aber und man sitzt trotz Nähe zur Straße recht ruhig auf der Terrasse. Sowohl Pasta als auch Pizza sind sehr gut.

Ich ärgere mich richtig! Warum? Weil ich seid knapp 3 Jahren um die Ecke dieses Lokals wohne und bisher noch nie hier war. Heute war ich zum ersten Mal da. Ich hatte Penne Arrabiata und es war die beste Arrabiata, die ich je hatte! Chapeau! Ich komme definitiv wieder.

Absolut kinderunfreundliches Personal. Ich hatte mit meiner 6-Jährigen Tochter auf dem direkt danebenliegenden Eiscafe gespielt. Meine Tochter ist mit mir dabei spielerisch in dem Außenbereich der Pizzeria gelaufen (anzumerken sei, dass keine Gäste vor Ort waren, die gestört werden hätten können und auch keine wirklich wahrnehmbare Abgrenzung zwischen den beiden Geschäften vorhanden ist). Von einer Beschäftigten kam sofort die unfreundliche Frage, was ich hier mache. Als ich entgegnete, dass wir hier nur kurz spielen, kam die rau formulierte Antwort, dass hier öfter irgendwelche Leute einfach rumlaufen. Da ich merkte, dass wir hier offensichtlich nicht erwünscht sind, bewegte ich mich direkt mit meiner Tochter wieder in Richtung Eiscafe. Dabei regte sich die Mitarbeiterin über etwas auf, was ich nicht verstand, wohl aber mit meiner Tochter zu tun gehabt haben muss. Als ich anschließend das Gespräch suchte und auf Service sowie Kinderfreundlichkeit hinwies, wurde ich sehr unfreundlich weggeschickt. Meinen Hinweis, dass ich die eben gemachten Erfahrungen auch gerne bereit bin, über Google mit anderen zu teilen, wurde nur mit den Worten: "Na dann machen Sie das, ich lache mich immer kaputt, wenn ich sowas lese" abgetan. Als wenn das nicht schon gereicht hätte, hörte ich beim gehen noch die Worte: "So ein Bekloppter". Auf das daran anschließende Gespräch und den Hinweis von mir, dass es sich hierbei um eine Beleidigung handelt, kam als Reaktion nur, dass mir von der Bedienung ein Telefon hingehalten wurde. Schade, dass dort so mit Menschen umgegangen wird, von denen wohl kein Geld zu erwarten ist. Was nur dabei nicht bedacht wird, wenn man solche Erfahrungen sammelt, ist man zukünftig gar nicht erst bereit, dort Geld auszugeben. Nachtrag zur Antwort der Geschäftführerin. Jetzt könnte ich detailierter darauf eingehen, dass Sie mit ihrer Vorankündigung auf Facebook wohl ähnlich wie ein Kind vorgehen, dass sich zuerst bei seinen Freunden unter Verdrehung der Tatsachen Rückendeckung holt, bevor das eigene Fehlverhalten durch andere ausgesprochen wird. Auch könnte ich darauf eingehen, dass ich nicht geschrieben habe, sie hätten Blödmann gesagt, sondern Bekloppter (auch da bringen Sie etwas durcheinander). Aber weder möchte ich mich auf solch kleingeistige Korrespondenz einlassen, noch sehe ich aus Ihrer Antwort heraus wenig Sinnhaftigkeit, weiterhin Energie für Sie aufzubringen. Kritikfähigkeit erfordert eben auch Selbstreflektion. Ist die nicht vorhanden, ist es eben einfach Energieverschwendung. Dementsprechend schließe ich für meinen Teil mit dem Thema nun ab und lasse die Leser selbst entscheiden, ob sie dieses Lokal aufsuchen wollen oder nicht.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service. Lage an der Straße nicht ganz optimal. Wir hatten Musik und Gesang der war lauter und schöner als Autos.

Wir waren zu fünft dort, mit drei Kindern, und erhielten von fünf bestellten Hauptspeisen nur eine. Nachdem wir über eine Stunde gewartet hatten und die Kinder zunehmend hungrig und frustriert waren und der Wein getrunken war, bat ich um Zahlung. Da hieß es, „das Essen werde nun vorbereitet, man könne doch nicht einfach gehen“. Kein Wort des Bedauerns und kein Angebot der Wiedergutmachung. Schade. Das reicht leider nur für zwei Sterne.

Man muss etwas Geduld mitbringen wenn man ins Il Disperato kommt! Wenn man reinkommt!? Das Essen ist im allgemeinen nur zu empfehlen. Pizza gross und schmackhaft! Pastagerichte ausgewogen und ebenfalls empfehlenswert....und wenn wieder ausreichend Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind, ein "must go" in Veedel :-)

Ordered a coke that was almost flat and room temperatured. No ice. The tomato sauce was SO salty. Couldn’t finish the pizza. Service ok.

Hatten nur tolle Empfehlungen und waren guter Dinge, aber nachdem wir dann zwei Stunden aufs essen gewartet haben sind wir ohne essen abgerauscht nachdem es nicht mal anfangen wurde zu Kochen…..und die Preise sind dann auch nicht angemessen. 1,5€ kostet nur der Belag Mais auf der Pizza meines Sohnes. Wir wollen Ihnen aber gerne noch eine Chance geben. Aufgrund der Erfahrungen von Bekannten und der wirklich netten Antwort auf diese Rezension. Außerdem war die Pizza die mein Sohn hatte und andere Gäste dann mitgebracht haben sehr sehr lecker.

Speisen und Getränke von bester Qualität, eine meiner Lieblingspizzerien in Düsseldorf 🍕 Von der Straße schwer zu erkennen, daher ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Restaurant mit schönem Biergarten, der bei diesen heißen Temperaturen schönsten Schatten bietet.

11,50 € für eine Pizza tonno bezahlt ja absolut ekelhaft geschmeckt Pizza nicht in Stücke geschnitten Chrono im ganzen Klumpen auf der Pizza kaum Käse drauf das einzig gute an der Pizza war der Teil schön, wie es sein soll aber im gesamten ungenießbar

日曜の夕方に利用しましたがかなり混んでいたので予約をした方が良さそうです。ピザのテイクアウト利用をしている方も多かったです。シーフードピザのカニカマみたいのがイマイチでしたが、ピザ生地は美味しかったです。ラザニアはチーズたっぷりでミートソースも美味しかったです。

Ein kleines Lokal mit netten und gutem Service. Eine Tischreservierung ist wichtig. Das Essen ist sehr lecker mit auch einer wechselndem Aktionskarte.
