Pizzeria e Trattoria Due Fratelli in Dortmund

The ambiance is modern and simple, but I personally didn't like it that much, as it doesn't resemble a typical, cozy pizzeria. On the plus side, the friendly service and the short wait for the food are worth mentioning. While the pizza was a bit on the expensive side, it had plenty of toppings and was deliciously prepared.

Really delicious, great atmosphere. All dishes are inexpensive and the desserts are delicious.

It's an Italian restaurant with a higher price level but still very good value for money. There's an outdoor area with about 10 tables.

An unassuming but unrivaled Italian restaurant! Whether it's pizza, pasta, salad, or antipasti, everything here tastes as if it were in Rome – and the service is fantastic, too! It doesn't get any better than this!

This pizza was fantastic. We spontaneously ordered it just before the kitchen closed because we saw a group out and about making a delicious pizza and simply asked where they got it. We absolutely didn't regret ordering it – it was an avocado pizza, and it was as perfect (thin, crispy base, fluffy crust, not overly loaded, fresh ingredients) as you could wish for. Truly delicious, and we'd happily order again at the next opportunity.

Lasagna was delicious but pizza was not the best choice in my opinion. I ate much better, dough wasn’t so delightful, salame picante was quite thick, sauce was very spicy I think they added some Tabasco or something similar. There is no other language menu, google translator need to support you. Difficult to find parking spot. Besides above, it’s a nice place for dinner.

We were here on a Friday evening and made a reservation shortly beforehand via email, which was confirmed 👍. The restaurant has an outdoor area. The interior is a bit smaller, so reservations for a Friday or Saturday evening are recommended. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are a bit on the higher side. But considering that hardly anyone wants to work in the restaurant industry, you have to offer the employees something. And good food comes at a price. A vacationing family from Berlin will be happy to return 🙂.

Great pizzas, but more for the discerning customer. Our kids had a hard time choosing. The prices are a bit steep.

Delicious food, great service, and a lovely patio. I think it's the best place to go in this neighborhood. The only downside is that smoking is allowed on the patio. It doesn't have a very extensive menu, especially for beer. It's great that they offer a weekly special. With vegetarian and vegan options <3

We sat at an outside table. The location is on a busy street. The first waitress to arrive was unfriendly and could only answer questions poorly. She also took the order incorrectly, resulting in the wrong order. The salad came with the wrong dressing, and the portion was small. After the salad was remade, the yogurt dressing was very sour and inedible. The pizza was large, but soggy and tasted of little. The food is too expensive for what you get. At least they didn't charge for the salad in the end.

Definitely recommended. My pizza (salami picante) was truly spicy. Absolutely amazing. The service was excellent. Many people could learn a thing or two from this. Definitely recommended.

I was there yesterday with my girlfriend. My girlfriend had a pasta dish with wild broccoli, which wasn't fresh but pre-packaged. I had macaroni and cheese. Unfortunately, the chicken they used was also pre-cooked. The service was okay, but they didn't take the cards off the table and simply placed the food on them.

Because we're at the children's hospital every day and need to eat something for lunch, we've been there five times in a row now because we simply love the food so much and the service is excellent. Absolutely authentic Italian cuisine, prepared with attention to detail. We tried everything (starters, pasta, salad, pizza), and everything tasted absolutely amazing. Therefore, we 100% recommend it 👌🏽

The food is wonderful and Antje, the always friendly and courteous service person, is a real winner. She makes everything possible that is possible, doesn't lose her nerve in the thickest of crowds and has a kind word for every guest. Super!

We had two pasta dishes and a starter (Bruschetta Trio). Overall, a delicious experience, but there were a few things that were a bit of a shame: - The Linguine Salsiccia was supposed to contain wild broccoli, but only the leaves were fried, which meant the dish lacked some bite and variety and everything seemed very salty overall. - The avocado for the bruschetta was clearly too unripe But the service and communication are top, all in all a positive experience, we would order there again.

Very good lunch menu and very friendly service

We recently went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to get a seat without any problem and the food was excellent - we had pasta dishes that we really enjoyed. The employee was also extremely friendly. We would love to try the pizza next time we visit!

I ordered a caprese salad and when I ordered I asked if I could have regular mozzarella instead of buffalo mozzarella. After several explanations, I received a salad with vegan mozzarella, there were no dried tomatoes at all. So I paid €11 for arugula, tomatoes and vegan mozzarella that I didn't like. Previous visits were good.

Small but good place - we could book in Advance by phone The menu Is pretty Alright - with the typical variety of pizzas, pastas and so on. With some added things in the menu which I will definitely come back again and try. They also seem to have a weekly menu, with specials - and that looked pretty nice too. We tried two pizzas, napolitan style, and they were really tasty and good. The only thing I don't really understand why they use mozzarella in some pizzas, and Gouda in others... Mozzarella in all of them would be better (just a suggestion) But in general, a good place I would recommend for pizza and pasta

Super nice waiters and absolutely great food! With the spicy salami pizza you could have mentioned how spicy the pizza really is (I assumed it would be slightly spicy but it was super spicy) But because the food was so great, it's logical that it's still 5 stars! With the bread at the beginning you could have added a little herb butter or a dip

We had pasta and pizza and really enjoyed both dishes. It was absolutely delicious and the prices there are more than fair. I think we have found our local pub. :)

We were passing through and wanted to eat something delicious in the evening and came across this small pizzeria while searching online and were very pleased to have found it. Here we ate really good Neapolitan pizza and homemade pasta at a very fair price. We'd love to come back.

Nice Italian restaurant with a pleasantly clear menu. So as a starter we had the beetroot carpaccio, extremely tasty! The salmon fillet as a main course also left nothing to be desired, price/performance ratio was absolutely fine. Good, attentive service. The only point deduction is for the location right on the street and the somewhat carelessly designed outdoor area, but that's it whining at a high level!

Definitely one of the best pizzerias in Dortmund. Service is friendly and quick. There is seating outside and inside. The pizza was ready quickly and tasted incredibly good. The dough is incredibly thin and one of the best things about the pizza. The toppings were also fresh and delicious👍 Overall a recommendation, if you want to eat delicious pizza for astronomical prices, this is the right place for you :)

Are guests in the adjacent Hotel First Garden. We decided to have dinner there when we arrived. We had pizza. The smell of the good ingredients was just too tempting. The inside of the shop is very tidy and modern, like an Italian restaurant. The dough was great, the topping was high quality, no ready-made salami or frozen mushrooms. Everything was fresh. The waitress always tried to fulfill every wish and was very friendly. Clear recommendation if you are nearby and hungry. Eat here! The two of us paid €36 with drinks.

According to my taste preferences, it's the tastiest pizza in the area and there's very little to complain about in terms of service. Friendly, quick and attentive. That's how you like it, right? So without hesitation I award the generally known, maximum possible number of 5 stars.

One of the best pizzerias for Neapolitan pizza. Delicious, fluffy dough and tasty tomato sauce. There is the option of ordering your pizza vegan. However, the pasta dish we ordered had room for improvement. Definitely try it out.

You can be lucky, but you can also be unlucky. On the first evening everything was great, the food and the service. The next evening we had pasta that was drowning in oil and a waitress (the same as the night before) who tried to make us look foolish. It's a shame, but that means the restaurant is dead for us.

I really have a guilty conscience because I've been cheating on my regular Italian restaurant with Due Fratelli for a while now. Due Fratelli is NOT a pizzeria. I call it a small but fine Italian restaurant in a modern bistro style. The service is great, it's always quick and Janine is always super friendly. Everything I've tried so far has been super delicious. A highlight is the pizza with buffalo mozzarella, rocket and garlic. I can also highly recommend the foccacia. I like to eat it with a salad. I can recommend the salad with flambéed goat cheese or with chicken breast and mushrooms. Actually, I'm more of the type of person who writes a review if something wasn't so good. If I write a positive review, then something is really, really good, like Due Fratelli. You should reserve a table for the weekend or call in advance. It was only on Sunday last week that the shop was very busy around 6 p.m. and there were no tables left. For me, I will continue to eat my way through the delicious menu.

Lively trattoria atmosphere in Dortmund's clinic district: Good, generally more traditional Italian dishes, using good olive oil, fresh Mediterranean herbs, and the pizza is crispy, beautifully thin and with appropriately rich toppings, are convincing here. Also the very reasonable prices. When it comes to pasta, the sauces are very appealing. They are very spicy, fresh, intense. As a starter, the beetroot carpaccio bedded on rocket with its delicately sour marinade is, yes, quite a discovery. It is very pleasant to sit in the manageable, beautifully illustrated, rectangular room, served by a young, very approachable service team who give the impression that the guest should feel comfortable here. He can do it effortlessly.

The best Italian restaurant for a reasonable price.

Wir waren am heutigen Sonntag 03.12.23 zu dritt in diesem netten und kleinen Italienischen Restaurant. Hervorragender Service der netten jungen Frau (Spanierin), immer aufmerksam und sehr freundlich mit den Gästen. Die Vorspeisen (cremige Kürbissuppe und eine kleine Pizza (Venezia) waren sehr, sehr lecker. Der luftige und crosse Pizzaboden war ein Traum. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir die Lasagne Salmone und die schwarzen Tagliatelle mit Riesen-Garnelen von der Wochenkarte und die Macceroni Pollo von der regulären Speisekarte, alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch gab es den Tiramisu und die Nutella Focaccia. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und schmeckte hervorragend. Wir kommen wieder und Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstes empfehlen.

War wirklich sehr lecker, die Pizza war echt gut. Und der Service ist Mega. Kommen gerne wieder.

We ate at Due Fratelli yesterday and were completely surprised about everything. Starting with prizes! 5€ for a Gazpacho soup and about 10-12€ for a perfect Neapolitan pizza with high end toppings. The coffee was also good and the service as well. If you’re in Dortmund, try Due Fratelli and enjoy the cheap but very tasty food🇮🇹

Für mich war die Pizza 🍕 wirklich gut und lecker 😋. Der Pizzarand ist schön aufgegangen. Der Boden in der Mitte war dünn. Der Belag war reichlich und schmackhaft. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Man kann auch gut 👍 dort sitzen. Meine Pizza 🍕 war schnell fertig. Es gab bei meinem Besuch kaum Wartezeiten.

Die beste Napoli Pizza in Dortmund. Der Teig ist typisch neapolitanisch aber mit einer gewissen bissfestigkeit. Der Teig hat mehr Struktur - als sonst. Der Service und Ambiente ist richtig schön. Lockere und nicht zu künstliche Atmosphäre. Echt einladend und zum verweilen.

W upalny dzień zamówiliśmy dwa kieliszki białego zimnego wina. Wino w temp ok, poprosiliśmy o rachunek i płatność kartą, kelnerka zaprosiła mnie do środka, przy barze powiedziała, że nie obsługują kart master i visa 🫣 Rachunek na 13 euro, położyłem 50 i dostałem resztę 32 euro. Nie dotykając pieniędzy czekałem na reakcje, była żenująca. Oczywiście kelnerka dołożyła brakujące 5€. Nie zostawiłem napiwku który chciałem zostawić
