Best burger in the whole universe

I'm not a burger fan at all (except for Byron's burgers in London, which I love), but I was drawn to the Mafia Burgers because of the theme because I found the concept funny. And I've been a burger fan ever since (but only here in Dortmund!)! The burgers are really great with the mostly homemade sauces and the well-seasoned patty. You can even eat the buns (I never do that, I hate burger buns). If you order here and then complain, I would like to say that burgers are really not suitable for ordering. Go there yourself and eat it fresh on site, that's the only way a burger can be really good! And this is it, no comparison to the big chains, and I also think the price-performance ratio here is significantly better than the big "M". The crispy fries are also great and recommended, especially with the delicious truffle mayo.

The burgers are really tasty and juicy. The portion with the fries were perfect! Chicken is breaded in-house and arrived really hot and crispy. We'll be back!

Our daughter recommended the Bürgerladen. A small, cozy, clean shop You put a lot of effort into setting it up. The employees were very nice and polite. The orders came very quickly. The burgers were delicious, not too dry, super perfect, you know how to make burgers, keep it up...

I had the Ismael Zambada Garcia burger with chili cheese nuggets and I'm really impressed with the burger. 5 stars aren't enough

Many a burger “restaurant” could learn a lesson here. The portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, delicious and homemade and the sweet potato fries are awesome. You'll happily drive 40 minutes to eat such great burgers!

I can recommend Mafia Burger to everyone. The location, the food and the service are unique. I'm actually not a fan of burgers, but I came here at my son's request, so if there was a burger then only here. I'm really surprised at how fresh the food was. Always happy.

Top burgers in a very small shop. Unfortunately it only invites you to stay for a while. The boys stand behind the counter and wait for the things that come along.

The burger was super tasty! I had the BBQ burger, the sauce with the soft buns really picked me up! Nice people behind the counter!

Very harmonious restaurant. A very good burger for the location. The burgers (name) are perfectly adapted to the ambience. You have to remember that it is not a restaurant, but an upscale snack bar. As mentioned, burgers are really good for you. On my first visit I got a really good burger, nothing to complain about. On the second visit the burger was disappointing. Only one more star because the fries were good. Meat was tough and gristly. The second burger in the order was good. So I would classify it as an isolated case. So not 5 stars.

Delicious burgers. Small business that knows what they are doing. Prices are reasonable. Appearance could be better. We had to sit outside because there was no room inside. (6 tables inside) outside you sit on the main road.

Very nice burger shop. We were here because my wife was flying from Krakow to Dortmund and we wanted to grab something quick to eat before we started our journey home. The food was delicious, handcrafted and tasted very good. The three of us had four burgers and a small plate as a starter consisting of three small things The mafia theme of the restaurant is nice and well implemented. But first and foremost it's about the taste of the food. But it was really impeccably good and therefore always as happy as when we are at Dortmund airport.

Strong burger, very good service, creative menu

Had 4 burgers to take away plus mokro fries and chicken strips. Nice guys, but not professionals. When you place an order like this, if you first put the fries with the fatty sauce in the Styrofoam packaging, then put the chicken strips in the closed Styrofoam packaging and only then put two missing burgers, you will produce a soft, greasy french fries mass and chicken pieces like they came from the microwave. That is not how it works. If the recently made Italyburger crawls out of the pack with a cold bottom bun after five minutes of driving at 30 degrees outside temperature, but at the same time is dripping with fat, then it's due to the ton of mayo on the bottom bun, which turns into liquid fat under the hot patty has dissolved. That wasn't tasty. Every burger was simply dripping with grease.

We ordered after hearing a lot about them : unfortunately it’s a hard pass and a catastrophic failure: nothing is a bigger turn down in a burger than a soggy wet lettuce and tomatoes making the burger wet - with literally water oozing out ! Yuck !

Good shop. Burger is worth it if you drive past it.

The service was friendly, but not warm. The burger tasted good but unfortunately lukewarm. The cold sauces are the problem. It might make sense to heat the finished burger as a whole again. Otherwise the Fritz drinks are fine. Unfortunately only cash payment. We were then able to pay via Paypal, which was again very accommodating. Thanks again for that.

Friendly staff, the burgers are very good and big too! Fries are tasty, the sweet potato ones are a bit soft after transport despite the holes in the box, but I've never seen better from any delivery service. The onion rings were obviously not made from whole rings, at least I couldn't see any. But they are cheap and otherwise taste good. Unfortunately there is no sour cream as a dip. We just picked up the food, but the interior of the store is nicely designed and I also like the open kitchen. The fact that the burgers on the menu all have names that correspond to the theme of the store is creative, but I think names that let you know what's in them are better, especially when ordering by phone. That or numbers in front of the dishes on the menu would be good. We will definitely come back here! Update: Even after the second visit the same opinion applies. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced!

Currently the best burger in all of Dortmund. I've tried everything, but no one comes close to Mafia Burger. Neither in terms of price performance nor in terms of taste. Recommended!!!!!

The burgers were very good. It's definitely worth coming back. The guys who work there are super nice and accommodating. The seating options are optimal for the size of the store. There were also two seating options outside. It's definitely worth eating or ordering there.

I rarely review either particularly good or particularly bad companies. This one is particularly good. Extremely friendly, unobtrusive service, great ambience (not just 0815), good prices, absolutely tasty, delicious burgers and fries. We are super happy to have been here. Thanks and keep it up.

The burger I had was tasty but unfortunately only lukewarm. My colleague was hot for it because I can only rate what I had, so I have to deduct stars for it. Maybe next time I'll be lucky enough to get a hot burger, then the rating here will change too☝️but until then it's only 2 stars🤷‍♂️

Went to this burger shop spontaneously today and I have to say, I've rarely had such a good burger. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

Top burgers! Makes all burger joints and restaurants look pretty old. The shop is not very big (approx. 10 seats) and is more of a snack bar. Therefore, if you want to eat on site, you should definitely make a reservation. The patty is of high quality with fine roasted aromas. The sauces go great with the high-quality meat. I'll definitely come back!

The menu offers a wide selection of burgers to suit every taste, from classic to unusual. I've tried many different burgers and have been impressed every time. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the burgers are prepared with attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy are the juicy patties, which are grilled to perfection. The cheeseburger and fries are super tasty! We are not from Dortmund and ended up there by chance. I was expecting a run-of-the-mill snack bar and then we were really surprised. The price is extremely cheap. My daughter (4) looked for a painting corner there and didn't want to leave :-D We would be happy to come to you again from Datteln! Best regards

Yesterday I was there for the first time with my children. What can I say? The burgers were simply to die for. They were very tasty and juicy. The quality 1+++++ I have never eaten such a delicious burger before. We had the sweet potato fries, wedges and chips with it, also very tasty 😋. The staff is also very nice. We will come back.

Top advice, top food, top delivery time

The burgers are a real treat! The meat is juicy, the brioshes are tender as butter, the sauce is perfectly balanced. It's a small restaurant, very cozy and very harmonious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to next time.

Schönes Konzept. Essen sehr lecker!

Die beiden Burger die wir hatten waren großartig, Fleisch, Gemüse, Käse und Soße perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Jungs hinterm Tresen sind freundlich, die Musik nicht störend und der unperfekte Anstrich passt zum Ambiente und den Aufnahmen aus bekannten Filmen. Nächstes mal essen wir vor Ort und bringen Freunde mit.

Wir hatten den Gambino Burger und die Gambino Fries. Die Fries waren sehr delikat. Einmalig. Der Patty vom Burger war trocken. Evtl. zu lange gebraten? Preislich im oberen Segment.

Bombe im Geschmack,aber zum dort essen zu klein,man ist gerade angefangen und die nächsten Gäste warten schon auf deinen Tisch .Das ist sehr schade denn es stört die Gemütlichkeit beim Essen.Aber der Geschmack die Portionen und das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist perfekt und natürlich auch der Service 👍

Sehr gute Burger, Pommes sind genau richtig und die Soßen sind selbst gemacht. Preislich auch nicht total übertrieben.

Burger war gut, Lieferung schnell. Das ist aber auch alles was man positiv bewerten kann. Die crunchy Stripes hatten 0 Geschmack und durch die Panade war es auch so hart (haben kurz gedacht, es sei ein Knochen, war es aber nicht). Die Pommes auch ohne Geschmack, bekommt man in jeder Imbissbude besser und vor allem günstiger!!

Im Mafia Burger trifft man auf Burger, die selbst einem Don Corleone würdig wären – großzügig belegt und zu Preisen, die keine 'Abrechnung' fürchten müssen. Jeder Biss ein Angebot, das man nicht ablehnen kann. Ein kleines Lokal mit großem Charakter, fast so als hätte Joe Pesci persönlich in der Küche das Sagen. Ein Besuch hier ist ein kulinarischer Coup, den man nicht verpassen sollte.

Heute den Burger von Mafia Burger ausprobiert und wir müssen sagen, richtig guter Burger und die Greek Pommes haben auch richtig überzeugt! Gerne wieder

Update 25.08.20232 2tes mal dagewesen. Was soll ich sagen! Nach 5 Monaten immer noch klasse und lecker. Hatten den Pablo Esocbar plus Cheese Nuggets und den Barbeque Burger... 👍👌 Bitte weiter so machen... Gestern Nachmittag dort gewesen. Habe schon einige Burger Läden ausprobiert und muss sagen, das dieser zu den Besseren gehört. Eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Burger und Beilagen. Gute Auswahl an Saucen. Hatte den Lucky Luciano mit extra Bacon👍 Die Patties auf den Punkt gegrillt und gut gewürzt. Tolle Kombination mit den frischen Beilagen und Saucen. Das Team vor Ort super nett und gehen auch auf kleinere Wünsche ein. Auf jeden Fall sollte man vorher kurz anrufen, wenn man vor Ort Essen möchten, da es nicht zuviele Sitzgelegenheiten gibt. Coole Idee mit der Fotowand und den Polaroid Bildern😊 Das nächste Mal werden wir uns dort sicher auch verewigen😉

Einfach mal Sau 😋 lecker..wir hatten über den Lieferservice bestellt. Leider war das Essen nicht mehr allzu warm aber das tat dem Geschmack keinen Abbruch. Wenn man mal einen guten Burger essen will dann dort...auch wenn es etwas hochpreisiger ist.... aber was ist heutzutage noch günstig zu bekommen....es lohnt sich!
