Your burger is beautifully presented and tastes great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic, and the tables are cleaned immediately after each guest. Unfortunately, I had to wait a bit when I arrived because it was busy and the place is rather small. However, the friendly staff more than made up for it. One minor drawback: they only accept cash payments; perhaps this will be changed in the future.

I was there with three guys. First, my burger was forgotten, while the guys whose burgers I had already received theirs. My burger arrived after about 5-6 minutes. My friend's fries also arrived late and were cold. CASH ONLY!!!! The toilet stinks and there's no toilet paper or space. People who arrived later got their food earlier!

I've been to Mafia Burger in Dortmund several times in the last few weeks and I'm absolutely thrilled! The burgers were delicious, well-seasoned, super juicy, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The Chili Cheeseburger has 180g of meat and is more than enough to fill you up, but I highly recommend the Lucky Luciano for anyone with a massive appetite. With its two 180g patties, it really packs a punch. No one leaves here hungry! The burger buns were also soft, fresh, and not too crispy—just as they should be. The add-on for just €5 with fries and a drink is also a great deal. I really liked the atmosphere, too. The mafia-themed decor is very stylish, and the photos are eye-catching. It's like they're saying, "This is where you do good business!" 😎 My only minor criticism: The place could be a bit bigger, as it gets crowded on certain days, and these burgers are definitely meant to be enjoyed fresh on-site. Despite that, no points deducted for quality and enjoyment. Overall, a really great burger joint with fantastic taste, friendly staff, and a cool atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!!

The food had a good taste but it’s the only thing that was a good in the restaurant, the workers are not welcoming, the prices are higher than what is shown on the picture on google, you can’t pay by card (like literally what kind of restaurant take only cash + they only warned me after the food was ready ) and the shop is too small to welcome more than 10 people so you have to order on the go, and finally, it took 25 min for a simple cheese burger

At Mafia Burger, you'll find burgers worthy of Don Corleone—generously topped and at prices that won't leave you wanting more. Every bite is an offer you can't refuse. A small restaurant with big character, almost as if Joe Pesci himself were in charge in the kitchen. A visit here is a culinary coup you shouldn't miss. PS: Made it back after a long time. I was in a hurry to grab dinner before my choir rehearsal and this place is in walking distance. They greeted me quickly, gave me a moment to look over the menu without rushing me and then took my order promptly and accurately. I asked for some customization and it was no problem. They even suggested some things that I was happy to try. I love the decor, very cool place. Will definitely get a burger here again. This tastes just like back home in the USA and I am so excited!

Seriously, I saw the rating and it was high, so I went to that restaurant. I booked a table for two, but they said they didn't see it, and we waited 20 minutes to sit. Then they brought the food, and it wasn't even hot!We paid 40 euros when it should have been 36? They changed the menu prices two days ago and didn't tell anyone, not even on the website. I'm never going back there again.

I went to Mafia Burger with my girlfriend, and we were more than satisfied. The service, food, ambiance, and value for money were all impressive. The absolute highlight was the Ismael Zambada Burger, which truly blew me away. The fries were also perfect: incredibly crispy and superbly seasoned. Whether for a date night or with a larger group of friends, I would go back anytime, even happily traveling all the way from Cologne. 😊

I've eaten there a few times now and can honestly say it's the best burger joint in Dortmund! Good buns, excellent meat, and always nice and thick and juicy, and the sauce and salad on the burgers are always delicious and fresh. But there are still a few small things I wish the owners would implement. 1. Maybe try some new bun varieties. As awesome as the brioche buns are, you get tired of them at some point because they can be quite overpowering. Maybe some regular sesame buns, pretzel buns, or potato buns would be really cool! 2. I wish they would also offer smash burgers. It's just a different experience, and a little variety is never a bad thing. In conclusion, I highly recommend this joint. Great guys, great burgers, and give them a try!

Yesterday, we were at the Dortmund Zoo with our family and, after our visit, were looking for an affordable restaurant (5 people), and we chose Mafia Burger. We arrived, were greeted very warmly, and immediately informed that it was busy and given an approximate wait time. It's a very small place, and it was really busy, which is a good thing, because not many people go to a bad burger place. After choosing something from the menu and ordering, we stood outside to wait so as not to impede the flow of customers. When a table finally became available and our food was almost ready, someone came straight up to us and didn't leave us standing alone. Another plus point. Then came the food. And what can I say, for the prices charged for a meal with burgers, fries, and the good Fritz Cola, we were all completely satisfied. We had chicken burgers and "regular" beef burgers; our youngest had chicken strips and mozzarella sticks. The fries were really generously sized, crispy, and delicious. The burgers were juicy and tasted absolutely fantastic. Our youngest is a real picky eater, but she devoured the mozzarella sticks and chicken strips, which is almost like a knighthood ^^. One small negative point were the restrooms, which, let's say, could use a bit of an upgrade. I gave all of this to the staff yesterday as friendly and objective feedback, as many don't do this and always just nod and say "yes, yes." And on the subject of staff, just a quick word: A super friendly team that basically leaves nothing to be desired for what this place is. Despite the minor criticism at the end, I and the rest of the family give it full marks, because we felt very comfortable here and the food was great. The Lucky Luciano is a true giant – a juicy mountain of meat, perfect for true meat lovers. The taste was absolutely solid! The John Grotti completely won over my son – all the ingredients were harmoniously combined and made it a real treat. We were also thrilled with the Gambino Fries – definitely a good choice! The Mafia Crunchy Strips, on the other hand, couldn't quite keep up with the burgers. Nevertheless, the joint is a great place for anyone who loves exceptional burgers. So enjoy!

Today, I was hungry and spontaneously stopped at Mafia Burger to try out their offerings. Unfortunately, upon entering the restaurant, I noticed an unpleasant odor. Furthermore, the kitchen was visible from the counter, which, to me, didn't seem particularly clean. I don't want to accuse anyone of anything—this is simply my personal perception as a guest. Nevertheless, I think it's important to draw attention to such impressions, as hygiene plays a central role in the restaurant industry. I hope management takes this seriously and considers possible measures for improvement. Where a negative impression is created today, a little effort can be made to create a clean and inviting space.

The food is still great, and I generally enjoy coming here. However, there were two things on my last visit that stood out as somewhat negative: First, a customer pushed in front of the queue. When I politely pointed this out to the employee, they dismissed it with the comment that it wouldn't change the ordering process. I found that a bit of a shame – a short sentence like "Is it okay if I take the customer's payment first?" would have made the situation much more pleasant. Second, I noticed that the portions are now a bit smaller than they used to be. It's not a huge problem, but it's noticeable compared to before. Nevertheless: the quality and taste are good, and I'll be happy to come back – with a little more attentive service, it would be perfect.

Sweet potato fries are super tasty and crispy. The Lucky Luciano with double beef was delicious, looked great and was cooked to perfection. The store itself is clean and average.
