The place was packed, which definitely speaks volumes about the quality. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was great – lively, but not stressful. You can tell the team is passionate about what they do. The decor is modern and cozy, and you immediately feel at home. I particularly liked that they offer great alternatives for vegetarians – not just a "must-have" dish, but made with real love. Conclusion: Top service, great food, cool atmosphere. I'll definitely be back – it's a lot of fun here! 💥🍔🌱

Bunz Burger in Dortmund is really good! I had a cheeseburger with delicious, crispy fries and a fuzetea peach burger. I was impressed by the burger, especially the patty, which was perfectly smashed and tasted super juicy. The fries were just right: nice and crispy and flavorful. I also liked the service. The staff was really friendly and served me well. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I will definitely come back! Highly recommended – thumbs up! 👍

A few days ago, I went there with my girlfriend for the first time. A really nicely decorated place with super friendly staff. They were very attentive, especially after the food arrived, asking: "Do you like it?" The burger was top-notch and exactly what you'd expect from a good, juicy burger. Highly recommended 🤝

Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing overall. We found the communication with the owner to be disrespectful and inappropriate, which had a significant negative impact on our experience. The restaurant also didn't impress us in terms of cuisine: The quality of the burger was poor in our opinion – both the meat and the fresh ingredients, such as the salad, didn't seem fresh or carefully prepared. The ambiance also didn't contribute to a pleasant experience. We won't be visiting this restaurant again and advise other guests to do their research beforehand.

Good Friday 9 p.m. We were just visiting Dortmund and I wanted a burger. We were rejected at another burger shop right around the corner because they wanted to close. That's how we ended up in Bunz. I ordered a deluxe burger! OMG! This burger was amazing 🤩🤩🤩 Perfect bun, brilliantly fried smashed patty, cheddar, fried mushrooms, ultra hot truffle mayo, juicy and tasty tomatoes, cucumbers! A taste explosion! Best burger I've ever had! Worth every penny 👍🏻 It's a shame, we live in Stuttgart. I would have become a regular customer here 😍

We were there on Saturday because we were late and Bunz Burger was our emergency solution because it was near the Westfalenhalle. The emergency solution turned into a brilliant discovery... the burgers were absolutely amazing! Huge and a taste explosion! Clear recommendation!

The burger restaurant left a good impression. The food came quickly and was delicious. The prices were fair and the location is also attractive. A small disadvantage is the limited number of seats. If you're lucky, you'll find a spot straight away - otherwise it's better to reserve. Overall, a clear recommendation for burger lovers!

The burgers are definitely worth the money. They are large, freshly made and taste incredibly good. The vegan patty is made from vegetables (I personally always think it's best, instead of soy/falafel etc.) The "side dish" fries is almost a dish in itself, so it's also a very good portion. Chicken patty is also not frozen and very fresh. This time we ordered via Lieferando and were not disappointed here either. I can only recommend Bunz to anyone who wants to eat burgers in Dormund!

Delicious burgers, but unfortunately the side dishes and ambience are disappointing. We were there during the week and when we entered the store we noticed two things: 1. the employee who suddenly ran away, and 2. the bar with the many spirits, which made you wonder if you were in one Pub or burger joint ended up. In general the ambience was not what we expected. The website and the outside facade look like a modern, hip burger shop and from the inside it was more of a classic, somewhat outdated Dortmund snack bar. But ultimately it's the burger that counts. When we sat down we were quickly served in a friendly manner and ordered burgers with fries. They also arrived quickly and hot. Unfortunately, there were no napkins or cutlery at any of the tables, even though we were the only ones in the store. But when asked, the napkins were available. In general the service was not particularly attentive. The burger was absolutely convincing! The fresh bun and the juicy patty particularly stood out. The quality and size were really top. A small downside were the jalapeños, which tasted strongly of glassware. The biggest disappointment was the fries. They were reminiscent of cheap frozen supermarket products, and unfortunately even the chip salt couldn't save that. Conclusion: The burger is definitely a highlight and has real potential to make the shop an asset to the Dortmund burger scene. If the fries are upgraded and the interior design is more thoughtfully designed, the overall experience could be as satisfying as the burger itself.

The restaurant is said to have had a new concept for 2 weeks. I don't know the old one, now it's called bunz burger. Therefore, objectively no subjective comparison is possible 😉 The atmosphere is very pleasant and has charm. The restaurant area is very clean. Everything looks freshly renovated. The service is quick, very nice and pleasant. The star is the burgers. The smoke BBQ was a poem, everything was homemade, including the buns. The fries were probably homemade too, at least they tasted very good and not like frozen. Two burgers with two large beers for a fair 40 euros. It fills you up and it tastes great. If the quality stays like this, the store deserves a chance, 👍👍👍

The food is amazing, had the chickenburgers and the schnitzel with mushrooms. Can highly recommend it. However its saad to see no delivery options anymore. Probably to costly I assume. But I prefer it costing 5bucks more and still having the option. Maybe it will return in the future.

It was the worst meal of my trip to Germany. I visited with a friend and was shown to our seats. After a while, the staff didn't come to take my order, so I went to the counter and asked if I could place my order. He reluctantly told me to order, and I ordered a cheeseburger. But the employee said "What?" . This restaurant wasn't noisy and didn't have many types of burgers. I said cheeseburger again, but he acted as if he didn't understand because I said something wrong. That wasn't all. The process of ordering beer was only possible after hearing several “What?” No matter how much I thought about it, I was so angry that I couldn't be so unkind. I regret not asking the employee straight away why he was so rude at the time. Are you a racist? I have never been treated like this in a restaurant. Even after ordering, beer was not served for a long time, and when I went straight to the bar and asked why beer was not served, they gave me beer only then. I hope you get the same treatment when you travel to other countries. I don't think this restaurant has any sense of service, regardless of whether it's delicious or not. After eating at this restaurant, I thought I would never want to visit Dortmund again. [I will update the review further after seeing the response.] Did you ask me if the food was delicious? I have never been asked that question. If you had asked me if everything was okay, I would have said that your service was terrible. The staff didn't understand so I repeated my order several times.
