Mariposa Burger & Cocktailbar in Dortmund

Very pleasant little restaurant. Proper burgers. I would recommend and eat there again. The food is very tasty. Short waiting time. As a suggestion for improvement, I would like more precise information about the origin of the meat and, if necessary, a higher quality version at an additional cost.

I was here recently and absolutely loved it!!!!! From start to finish everything was just perfect. The burgers were incredibly tasty, juicy and perfectly seasoned. You can immediately tell that quality is important here. The side dishes such as the crispy fries and the homemade sauces were also a delight. The service was super friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is modern and cozy, making it exactly the right place for a relaxed burger evening. I can only recommend Bunz Burger Dortmund and will definitely come back! 5 stars!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious burgers, but unfortunately the side dishes and ambience are disappointing. We were there during the week and when we entered the store we noticed two things: 1. the employee who suddenly ran away, and 2. the bar with the many spirits, which made you wonder if you were in one Pub or burger joint ended up. In general the ambience was not what we expected. The website and the outside facade look like a modern, hip burger shop and from the inside it was more of a classic, somewhat outdated Dortmund snack bar. But ultimately it's the burger that counts. When we sat down we were quickly served in a friendly manner and ordered burgers with fries. They also arrived quickly and hot. Unfortunately, there were no napkins or cutlery at any of the tables, even though we were the only ones in the store. But when asked, the napkins were available. In general the service was not particularly attentive. The burger was absolutely convincing! The fresh bun and the juicy patty particularly stood out. The quality and size were really top. A small downside were the jalapeños, which tasted strongly of glassware. The biggest disappointment was the fries. They were reminiscent of cheap frozen supermarket products, and unfortunately even the chip salt couldn't save that. Conclusion: The burger is definitely a highlight and has real potential to make the shop an asset to the Dortmund burger scene. If the fries are upgraded and the interior design is more thoughtfully designed, the overall experience could be as satisfying as the burger itself.

The service is quick, very nice and pleasant. The star is the burgers. The smoke BBQ was a poem, everything was homemade, including the buns. The fries were probably homemade too, at least they tasted very good and not like frozen. Two burgers with two large beers for a fair 40 euros. It fills you up and it tastes great. If the quality stays like this, the store deserves a chance, 👍👍👍

The food is amazing, had the chickenburgers and the schnitzel with mushrooms. Can highly recommend it. However its saad to see no delivery options anymore. Probably to costly I assume. But I prefer it costing 5bucks more and still having the option. Maybe it will return in the future.

It was the worst meal of my trip to Germany. I visited with a friend and was shown to our seats. After a while, the staff didn't come to take my order, so I went to the counter and asked if I could place my order. He reluctantly told me to order, and I ordered a cheeseburger. But the employee said "What?" . This restaurant wasn't noisy and didn't have many types of burgers. I said cheeseburger again, but he acted as if he didn't understand because I said something wrong. Best beef patty in its price range. Fresh and juicy. I'm thrilled - it tastes good! Unfortunately, the concept doesn't extend to the chicken burger. Here you are fed off with the typical frozen patty, like at all other burger chains. Fries are ok, but they are not designed for delivery and unfortunately they quickly become soggy on the way. The portion size of the fries is very large, it was easily 2 portions. The Mariposa sauce was too smoky for us. Overall actually deserves 4 stars, but I'm giving it an extra star because I haven't found a better beef patty in Dortmund in this price range. I would have liked to show the beef burger in cross section, but Google Maps doesn't allow it. I have no idea what the AI ​​sees in the image. By the way, delivery was extremely prompt despite the weekend.

Der vegetarische Burger war sehr lecker und die Portion mehr als üppig.

Wir waren in unserer kleinen Männerrunde am 23.11 vor Ort. Nettes Ambiente, der Service war top. Die Getränke kamen immer schnell und auch das Essen war nach kurzer Zeit da. Der Burger war super und die Süßkartoffelpommes waren richtig lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

War ein perfekter Abend den ich dort mit meiner Frau verbracht habe. Super essen,Super Ambiente, Kann ich jedem empfehlen dort mal hinzufahren.😇

Geschmacklich 1a. Pommes waren super, Burger hatten ein tolles Brötchen und waren super saftig. Auch der vegetarische Burger war gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen war die Wartezeit. Aber die Bude war rappelvoll und die Jungs waren nur zu zweit, da kann man mal ein Auge zudrücken. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Alles war Eiskalt, zu fettig....nicht gewürzt und naja es war wirklich nicht ansehlich. Die Jungs würgen es gerade runter weil die viel bezahlt haben. Enttäuscht. Komme selber aus der Gastro. Sowas wird nicht serviert. Macht es besser.

Habe am 26.10.23 im diesen Lokal zu Abend gegessen und war sehr lecker mein Hänchensalat. Frisch zubereitet einfach nur lecker. Dazu noch ein schönen Cocktail das hat die ganze Sache abgerundet. Mein bester Freund mit Familie hatten sich Schnitzel mit Pommes und nur Pommes für die Kids bestellt und diese waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Schnitzel und Pommes waren so auf dem Punkt gemacht worden, das die so waren wie sie auch sein sollten. Einfach nur Daumen für das Lokal und natürlich auch das Personal freundlich und zu vorkommend haben sie uns bedient. Rund um kann ich das Lokal nur wärmstens empfehlen wenn man in ist und zu mittag oder abends Essen möchte.

Our party of 7 came in around 9pm, asked whether we could have food and drinks on the terrace since there was no room for us to sit together inside. Around 9:30pm we got our beers and ordered food, about half of which arrived around 10:30pm. When asked about the rest around 11pm, the staff admitted they had forgotten about it. While the waiter did apologize and offered a drink on the house, at that point I was fed up with waiting and left. The people who did get their food said it was great though! Probably a great place for small groups of 2-4, unfortunately my experience here was a miss.
