Mariposa Burger & Cocktailbar in Dortmund

Unfortunately, I didn't eat there in person, but I had food delivered through Lieferando: a Bunz Special Burger, fries, and mozzarella sticks. It was by far the best burger I've ever eaten. I almost died from its deliciousness—a taste experience I won't soon forget. I'll definitely order another burger, maybe even eat there soon. Fantastic job! Thank you, you guys are great.

A really delicious burger place! The burgers tasted amazing – juicy, fresh, and simply yummy. A little tip: The burger bun was a bit too soft and fell apart quickly. A firmer bun would have made it perfect. I would definitely come back.

Bunz Burger in Dortmund is a very nice place with a very warm atmosphere. We had two different burgers and both were incredibly delicious.

The spiciness was just right. It was definitely a great way to fuel up before the Dortmund game and a better experience than the game itself. 😉 The atmosphere is quite cozy.

We came here spontaneously. We were able to get a table even without a reservation. We had the Bunz Special and the Chicken Burger. They accommodated our requests for changes. The food was prepared quickly, and we hardly had to wait. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and well-groomed. The prices are fair. We highly recommend it.

We stopped at Bunz Burger before a visit to the Westfalenhalle. Everything was perfect...good service, a chic place, and amazing food (the burgers and fries were excellent)!

Excellent burgers with generous portion sizes that are filling. As befits a good burger, the buns are super tasty and fluffy, and they look as if they were homemade. The atmosphere is typical of a burger joint, and the food comes relatively quickly, making it a great place to visit even if you only have half an hour.

This is exactly how I imagine a burger should be. Unfortunately, we live north of Hamburg, but we'll definitely be back!

Really good stuff! We had the Smoky BBQ, an absolute flavor bomb. Really well-seasoned, not too much, not too little. A real treat for the palate. The burger joint on Lindemannstraße can't beat it... if you thought they were good, you haven't been here yet... I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Ate here before the concert at the Westfalenhalle. It was super delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. I'll be back next time.

A few days ago, I went there with my girlfriend for the first time. A really nicely decorated place with super friendly staff. Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing overall. We found the communication with the owner to be disrespectful and inappropriate, which had a significant negative impact on our experience. The restaurant also didn't impress us in terms of cuisine: The quality of the burger was poor in our opinion – both the meat and the fresh ingredients, such as the salad, didn't seem fresh or carefully prepared. The ambiance also didn't contribute to a pleasant experience. We won't be visiting this restaurant again and advise other guests to do their research beforehand.

I ordered a deluxe burger! OMG! This burger was amazing 🤩🤩🤩 Perfect bun, brilliantly fried smashed patty, cheddar, fried mushrooms, ultra hot truffle mayo, juicy and tasty tomatoes, cucumbers! A taste explosion! Best burger I've ever had! Worth every penny 👍🏻 It's a shame, we live in Stuttgart. I would have become a regular customer here 😍

The burgers are definitely worth the money. They are large, freshly made and taste incredibly good. The vegan patty is made from vegetables (I personally always think it's best, instead of soy/falafel etc.) The "side dish" fries is almost a dish in itself, so it's also a very good portion. Chicken patty is also not frozen and very fresh. This time we ordered via Lieferando and were not disappointed here either. I can only recommend Bunz to anyone who wants to eat burgers in Dormund!

The burger didn't blow me away and unfortunately it wasn't quite warm either.

Delicious burgers, but unfortunately the side dishes and ambience are disappointing. We were there during the week and when we entered the store we noticed two things: 1. the employee who suddenly ran away, and 2. the bar with the many spirits, which made you wonder if you were in one Pub or burger joint ended up. In general the ambience was not what we expected. The website and the outside facade look like a modern, hip burger shop and from the inside it was more of a classic, somewhat outdated Dortmund snack bar. But ultimately it's the burger that counts. When we sat down we were quickly served in a friendly manner and ordered burgers with fries. They also arrived quickly and hot. Unfortunately, there were no napkins or cutlery at any of the tables, even though we were the only ones in the store. But when asked, the napkins were available. In general the service was not particularly attentive. The burger was absolutely convincing! The fresh bun and the juicy patty particularly stood out. The quality and size were really top. A small downside were the jalapeños, which tasted strongly of glassware. The biggest disappointment was the fries. They were reminiscent of cheap frozen supermarket products, and unfortunately even the chip salt couldn't save that. Conclusion: The burger is definitely a highlight and has real potential to make the shop an asset to the Dortmund burger scene. If the fries are upgraded and the interior design is more thoughtfully designed, the overall experience could be as satisfying as the burger itself.
